FIRST AID ON DOG BITE
• Any person can be a victim of dog bite by domestic
dogs or stray dogs.
• A risk of rabies can develop to the victim if the dogs
are not immunized.
FIRST AID MEASURE FOR DOG BITE
• Wash the bitten area or wound with
clean running water along with soap.
• Gently press and dry the area with a
clean towel.
• Apply sterile dressing over the wound.
• Control the bleeding if it is severe.
• Shift the victim immediately to
the nearest hospital for anti
rabies vaccination and local
transport of the wound.
