The decisions made by that society are supposed to benefit the people as a whole, not any individual.

Socialists argue that socialism would allow for wealth to be distributed based on how much one contributes to society, as opposed to how much capital one holds.
Mixed Economy
Any economy in which private corporate enterprises and public sector enterprises exist side-by-side, and decisions taken through market mechanism are supplemented by some form of partial planning, is to be described as a mixed economy.
This system overcomes the disadvantages of both the market and planned economic systems.

of extensive research and worry. As the global community grapples with swift urbanization,
population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming
more evident. A crucial element of this impact is the alteration of vegetation cover, which plays a
significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.

- 3. Capitalism An economic and political system in which a country's trade and industry are controlled by private owners for profit.
- 4. Basics of Capitalism: Producers (businesses) are motivated by profit (money) and therefore create whatever goods people will buy. Capitalism is said to promote economic growth and the overall standard of living. The businesses run the economy, the government stays out of it.
- 5. Consequences of capitalism Income inequality. Child labor. Rapid urbanization. Worst conditions of workers. Effects on aquatic life. Pollution. Burden on resources.
- 6. Socialism The socialism started in mid 19th century. Population collectively owns and control means of production. The distribution of wealth reflects a welfare society. The distribution of results is proportional.
- 7. Objectives of Socialism Minimum standard of living. Evens out differences-makes people more equal. Full employment. End of poverty. People have more control on their lives.
- 8. What is Communism? Communism - a government where people shared work fairly and were paid equally. The word “Communism” comes from the Latin word “Communis” which means common or belonging to all.
- 9. Communism A political system in which the government owns all property and is ruled by one party with complete control over the economy. No private property will exist. Every person will work for the welfare of all. “From each according to his ability, to each according to his need.”
- 10. The Beliefs of Communism The rich get richer. The poor get poorer. People wanted to make everything equal.
- 11. Goals of Communism Social and Economic Equality End of Social Classes End of Capitalism
- 12. Characteristics of Communism Classless and Division less society. No state or Government. No Money based economy.
