This document discusses the model of the family-oriented human service practitioner. It outlines three key components of the practitioner: interpersonal skills, experience in family-focused services, and knowledge of family-oriented practice. For each component, it provides examples of necessary personality characteristics, learned skills, types of education and training, and examples of services provided based on participant interviews. The overall goal of the practitioner model is to help strengthen and restructure families using community-based and client-focused services.
