Carrie Helie created a music video for her extended project using photos instead of video recordings to go along with an original song written and performed by her friend. She researched indie music videos for inspiration, developed ideas around common song themes of love and lifestyle, and shot over 290 photos across two locations over two days to tell a story that matched the emotions of the song but didn't have to directly relate to the lyrics. After spending four hours editing the photos to the shortened song, Carrie reflected that she would have allowed more time for the project and taken higher quality photos to better convey the intended story.
