For our teamwork presentation this week, diving into the concept of teamwork and how to build and
collaborate as an efficient team, we found a different sense of unity and collaboration that we were
unaware of before the preparation for our presentation. For our team s main topics, we covered the
differences between a team and a group, and the vague similarities between the two. From the
textbook comparisons, we consider ourselves a team rather than a group of people because of our
common goals before our presentation date. We were all working together to collaborate and got our
ideas across to the class to present a topic that is both interesting and informative to our fellow
classmates. A team is described as a group of people that all work towards a common goal and have
objectives to work towards together, rather than individuals coming together to perform and complete
their individual goals. The roles that the members of our team performed were a complete
collaboration of ideas and thoughts. We spoke together and did not believe that there was any set
person that performed more or less than others within the group. We each put our thoughts together
and created a lesson plan for the class and broke into where we felt each of our strengths were for the
lesson plan of our presentation. Jordan introduced the chapter and how it was relevant to the class, as

A Streetcar Named Desire-A Tragic Hero
There are nine types of heroes in this world, each of them with their own unique stories, plots, cliches
etc. Among those is the classic tragic hero, one who is destined to fail no matter what. In a Streetcar
Named Desire, the tragic hero is Blanche Dubois, an aging Southern Belle living in a state of
perpetual panic about her fading beauty. In this essay it will be discussed what makes Blanche a tragic
hero and how she compares to a typical tragic hero.

Mississippi, to a wealthy family. She is a former schoolteacher who had been evicted from Belle Reve
(a family home) after being declared a woman of loose morals. This was because years earlier,
Blanche s husband committed suicide after she expressed her distaste on his sexuality. She later had
many affairs trying to numb her grief on the death of her husband.
The second condition for a tragic hero is what is called Hamartia, a tragic flaw that causes the
downfall of the hero. Blanche s tragic flaw is that she is dependant on men, so much so that she makes
choices and does things that are morally questionable. She manipulates and lies to potential suitors to
make herself seem more attractive and younger which in her mind is the only way a man will love her.
She does this with Harold Mitch Mitchell and it seems to be working until Mitch is informed of all the
lies he s been fed, at which point Mitch breaks up with Blanche and leaves her vulnerable for Stanley
to rape.
The reversal of fortune, peripeteia, is when the fortunate hero is down on his luck. In Blanche s case,
she loses Belle Reve, her husband is a homosexual and dead, she is evicted

Accelerated aircraft and armament test began in September 1941, three months before Pearl Harbor. In
May 1941, the Army Air Corps designated Eglin as the Air Corps Proving Ground, removing it from
the jurisdiction of the Southeast Air Corps Training Command and placing the base immediately under
the control of the Chief of Air Corps. The primary purpose of the Proving Ground was to provide a
station for tactical test of aircraft armament and accessory equipment and of aviation tactics and
techniques.
Due to increasing size, Eglin Field was renamed Eglin Field Military Reservation in recognition of its
importance to the Air Corps. Appropriations of $202,536 were announced by Congressman Bob Sikes
of Crestview in mid April 1941 for construction and installation of water, sewage, electrical facilities,
sidewalks, roads, fences, parking areas, landscaping and for the construction of a sewage disposal
plant. Submitted to the WPA headquarters in Washington, DC in late March, the request received
presidential approval in April. Work continued apace on some projects on a 24 hour a day basis. In
order to provide the air arm a greater autonomy in which to expand more efficiently, the Army Air

A conversation ingrained in my memory involved two adolescent boys from San Antonio Independent
School District (SAISD). When asked about their future ambitions, one student casually responded
that he would go to prison like his father. The other expressed a desire to rise above his inner city
milieu, but had little sense his abilities or of his options. In stark contrast, students from Alamo
Heights, an affluent neighboring district, held ambitions to become doctors, lawyers, and politicians,
and demonstrated an understanding of the prerequisites for their desired career path. The graduation
rate of Alamo Heights stood at 98% while SAISD s graduation rate lingered around 60%. The contrast
between these two districts grows more disturbing when considered through the lens of racial equality.
While SAISD s population is 98% minority, the Anglo population in Alamo Heights totals slightly
over 55%. Yet, 74% of Alamo Heights graduates achieve a four year college diploma, while only 4%
percent of SAISD alumni attain a bachelor s degree. An opportunity gap results from this discrepancy,
ultimately proving detrimental to social mobility.

Family Vacationing Hawaii and Wyoming are two states often visited because of the variety of
activities they offer. Even though both states appear different, they actually do have similarities.
Hawaii is a tropical island with a moderately warm climate year round. Because of its climate, visitors
generally enjoy outside activities. Wyoming is a landlocked state that usually has cooler climate.
However, in the summer, it can rival Hawaii for heat. In Wyoming people spend a great deal of time
driving around, taking pictures and exploring new bucket list places. Also, activities such as hiking,

They each have waterfalls that were once dried up from hot climate. Both states have volcanoes and
are made from a volcanic eruption. The Big Island of Hawaii is basically a rock formed by lava.
Yellowstone in Wyoming is a large, rocky grassland formed by an eruption. Surprisingly, Hawaii has
mountains just like Wyoming. The Grand Teton mountains are stunning to look at and have snow on
top of each peak. Hawaii has one main mountain called Mauna Kea which has snow on top of it even
in warm climate. The activities and food are the same in Hawaii and Wyoming. In Hawaii, my family
went to a luau which was like a cookout. Here, they served roasted pig in the ground, sides, and fruit.
The food is not much different than in Alabama. However, some restaurants did serve bison burgers
and different fish than I am used to. In Wyoming, we went to two different cookouts. The first one was
on Snake River and they served steak, potatoes, corn, and rolls. The second cookout on a wagon ride
had the same food as the first one, which is similar to food in Alabama. Some restaurants served lamb,
bison, and tenderloin that my family is not used to. The transportation in Hawaii and Wyoming is the
same. My parents and I had to fly from Atlanta to both states because it is such a great distance. We
had to rent a car on both trips. To get around the Big Island of Hawaii or to see hidden places, driving

Reflection About Art
I have never been into art or liked the arts for that matter, I cannot draw to save my life and being
creative with art brings my imagination to a halt. When I saw this project, I wasn t sure what I would
use to help make the art, most people I saw were using metals, but I wanted to do something different
and that made me nervous. But I had an even harder time figuring out what I wanted to create. I had
about a million ideas in my head, but had an extremely hard time looking at things that I found and
picturing them all together becoming a sculpture.
I started out with sticks and paper garbage that I had found around my home and the places where I
walk my dogs. I didn t know what I wanted to do with them, but I felt like they were the material I
wanted to use. After I had gathered enough sticks and pieces of paper that I found on the ground I sat
down and tried to brainstorm what I could make. I came up with the idea of getting the sticks together
in a ball and gluing the trash paper on to create the look of the continents and the sticks be a globe. I
figured out very fast that the sticks would not hold together, even after I soaked them in water. I
ditched that idea and moved on to a new one.
I still had all the garbage that I found and figured I could make good use of that. After ditching the
sticks (not on the ground I put them in my green trash can so they could be picked up and disposed of
properly) I focused on the paper materials that I had picked up. I thought

Granted when you look for a career you also have to think about job outlook. For the field in
radiology there are plenty of job openings and even a shortage in specialist for this field. Now there is
training involved to become a radiologist you have to go to medical school, then apply for a residency
which can last between 1 3 years. Also state licensure is mandatory for all practicing physicians
including radiologists. In the year 2013 government mandated the requirement for passage of a two

choosing anesthesiology as his or her specialty completes a year of internship and then three years of
residency. Some anesthesiologists choose to specialize in pain management, as opposed to traditional
surgical anesthesia. Pain management anesthesiologists generally run an office based practice,
