Example Of Admission Essay
Crafting an essay on the topic of an admission essay about oneself can be an intricate and
demanding task. The challenge lies not only in presenting a compelling narrative but also in
striking the delicate balance between showcasing personal achievements, aspirations, and unique
qualities while adhering to the formal structure and guidelines set by educational institutions.
The difficulty intensifies as the writer grapples with the need to stand out among numerous
applicants. The pressure to articulate experiences and attributes in a manner that captures the
attention of admission committees can be overwhelming. There's a constant fear of sounding
clichГ© or, conversely, deviating too far from the conventional norms of admission essays.
Moreover, self-reflection and introspection, essential elements of such essays, require a deep dive
into one's own life, values, and aspirations. This process can be emotionally taxing, demanding
sincere self-assessment and a willingness to share personal stories that may feel vulnerable.
Additionally, the challenge extends to maintaining a clear and concise writing style while
ensuring that all relevant aspects of one's character and experiences are adequately covered.
Balancing humility with self-promotion is an art that writers must master to create a genuine and
appealing narrative.
While seeking feedback from peers and mentors is crucial, it can also add to the complexity, as
incorporating diverse perspectives without losing one's authentic voice becomes a delicate task.
In conclusion, writing an essay on the topic of an admission essay about oneself requires a blend
of creativity, self-awareness, and strategic storytelling. The writer must navigate through the
intricacies of self-reflection, personal disclosure, and adherence to formal writing norms to craft
a piece that leaves a lasting impression on the admission committee.

Developmental Milestones in the First Two Years of Life
Developmental Milestones in the First Two Years of Life
Many of us have had the opportunity to observe infants and how they develop
through time, whether it is our children, siblings, or just a family friend we can all
agree it is extremely interesting to watch children grow. I am currently about 8
months pregnant and I feel it is very important for me to understand how my
daughter to be will develop. It is important for parents especially to know how a
child should grow and mature so they know if their children are on the right track or
not. Without knowing how a child is supposed to develop one may never know if
their child has a developmental disability or not. The best way to diagnose a
developmental disability is the parents ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The second sub stage is primary circular reactions that occur around one to four
months of age. In this stage infants start to organize schemes for sensory and motor
activities, actions are voluntarily repeated, but the infant actions are still centered on
bodily experiences and instinct satisfaction. The third sub stage is when the baby
starts to focus on the external world and secondary circular reactions; this happens
around four to eight months. Babies also develop schemes for repeating actions with
interesting effects on things and people in the world during this sub stage. The fourth
sub stage is coordinating the secondary circular reactions around eight to twelve
months. In this stage infants can organize a series of mental structures for various
actions and develop intentionality of behavior, they can separate schemes for means
and ends, and facilitate the accomplishment of simple goals. The fifth sub stage is
when the external oriented attention generates and tertiary circular reactions, this is
from twelve to eighteen months. Around this time infants grow into toddlers and they
seek discovery of new information about how things and people work. The final/sixth
sub stage is pretty important and several development milestones occur, this is
eighteen to twenty four months. In this sub stage object permanence is acquired and
toddlers understand objects continue to exist independent from self generated actions
and sensory experiences. (Petrill,

Oppression on Women in Margaret Atwood s The Handmaid s Tale and Marjane
Satrapi s Persepolis
Persepolis, by Marjane Satrapi, is memoir of a little girl growing in Iran. She refers to
a secular pre revolutionary time through contrast, the oppressive characteristics of the
fundamentalist government upon women in particular. Her work is a lot similar to
Margaret Atwood s, A Handmaid s Tale, in which the protagonist Offred reflects
upon her former life s freedom, cherishing her former name and in doing so
emphasizes the cloistered and enslaved life that she must now endure. Although both
Margaret Atwood and Satrapi show how a totalitarian state oppresses women in
different ways by taking away the freedom to think and decide for oneself, both ...

In Haindmaid s Tale, women are divided into a small range of social categories,
each one signified by a specific color dress in a similar style: [...] her usual Martha
s dress, which is dull green, like a surgeon s gown of the time before. The dress is
much like mine in shape, long and concealing, but with a bib apron over it and
without the white wings and the veil. She puts on the veil to go outside, but nobody
much cares who sees the face of a Martha. (9)
Martha s are made less by their clothes. When a woman is wearing the green
Martha s dress no one is interested in looking at her as a person. She is just a
servant. Martha s dress makes the woman serviceable not desirable, useful but
undesirable.
Pride and dignity is taken away from women in Gilead. They are isolated from
their families and are tortured by their memories. They are handed a dress code
depending on the role they play and are forced to abide by that. After Satrapi
designs a new uniform for her school, she says, this is how I recovered my self
esteem and my dignity. For the first time in a long time, I was happy with myself
(298).
Undeniably this dress code in both the books make women no longer an individual
but an object for specific use, stripping them of their identities and giving them no
choice.

The Controvercial Big Bang Theory
Have you ever wondered about the start of time? How about the start of the
universe? Well, this question has been nagging astronomers and scientists alike for
years and years. But in 1927, Georges Lemaitre proposed one of the most
controversial theory of all time, the Big Bang.
The Big Bang is a theory about the start of the universe. People have talked about it
for years and it s very controversial. First, let s start with the theory.
The Big Bang was first formed by Georges Lemaitre. He is the first person to actually
propose this theory. He also derived Hubble s Law . Hubble s Law helps estimate the
rate of expansion of the universe. The equation is H=v/d where H is Hubble s
constant, v is the velocity of the galaxy, and d is the distance from the earth. Even
though it seems that he is a 24 hour scientist, he is, however, a Belgian priest.
This theory is believed to have created the universe. Its occurrence was estimated to
be 13.8 billion years ago. Of course, this is all estimation. No one knows when
exactly it happened. Again, people have different beliefs.
Now, to further express the above statement that people have different beliefs, there
are a lot of different forms of this theory. I have handpicked 7 different forms of this
single theory to share with you. Here they are in order.
The Universe must have been born in this single violent event which came to be
known as The Big Bang .

What Is The Data Analysis Of Women
Data analysis section Npr.org states that women make up about one in four state
legislators and one in five congress members. On a nationwide basis, jobs like
Preschool and kindergarten teachers are as high as 96.8% as well as Registered
nurses hitting 89.4%. Unlike jobs like teachers, paralegals, resource worker,
waitressing, telemarketers, etc., The lower percentile ranging from 34 to 0 per cent
are government jobs like, Lawyers, chief executives, state legislators, clergy,
congress members, governors, police and sheriff s patrol officers, and firefighters.

Although adolecents are more in tune with politics a study done by Maria Escobar
Lemmon and Michelle M. Taylor Robinson shows that an increase in women s
secondary school enrollment decreases the probability women will be appointed to
the cabinet. In Model 1 of Maria Eschobar Lemmon et. Al research, each 1% increase
in women s enrollment decreases by 3% the chances that there will be a woman in the
cabinet. In her second Model, higher enrollment translates into a .16% decrease in the
percentage of female ministers. Inglehart and Norris (2003, 131) found that in some
cases increases in women s education and professional status do not correlate with
higher representation of women in the legislature and argue that cultural attitudes
about women may be the explanation. In some countries around the world women
make up a greater population size then men. In Ethiopia Women make up to about
49.5% of the population. Despite these statistics, women participation in government
has been minimal at the public policy and decision making levels. Lack of
commitment for increased women participation and absence of sufficient political
knowledge about women representation have
Female Serial Killers
Not many people know that women can murder others, let alone, be serial
murderers. What has been perceived generally in our societies is that women are
the creation of God who sacrifice for others and care selflessly. It is the males who
are seen as the abusers, the ones who murder, kill others for their selfish motives.
That is true but not completely. The majority of people who abuse, or kill are males.
However, women are also seen as doing these acts so anonymous to their feminism .
Women also murder, and surprisingly, they can be even more dangerous than males
(Deborah, 2000). My research paper will prove that women can be murderers and
some can be really brutal.

There is a benefit of choosing such a profession that places them in situations
where they are in contact with helpless individuals. Due to their vulnerability it
becomes easier to poison the victim as the sick or infirm cannot resist. Plus, when a
sick victim dies and there are no overt signs of struggle, it is easy for police to
mistake the crime for a natural death. Over 50% are either very young or very old
(Deborah, 2000).
What is the purpose behind the murders?
Women kill largely for instrumental reasons such as monetary gain rather than
affective reasons such as achieving motional satisfaction. Absent is the presence of
sexual fantasy as a motivating factor (Richard N.Kocsis, 2007). A survey of known
serial killers worldwide reveals that 41% of homicidal women kill for profit or greed.
Female serial killers who victimize their own children and other relatives sometimes
have a much stranger motive than profit. According to psychiatrists, some of them
become addicted to the sympathetic attention they receive after the death of their
loved ones (Micheal John, 2008).
TYPES OF FEMALE SERIAL MURDERERS
Black widows
The nickname of such killers, of course, comes from the black widow spider, which
kills its partner after mating. Human black widows are essentially the same. They
usually start killing after the age of twenty five, and for a decade or longer they

Mechanical Engineering According to projected job employment in the year, 2018,
mechanical engineering will have an estimated quarter of a million jobs nationwide.
This is an increase of roughly 6% between 2008 and 2018. As the need for better,
more economical necessities, a need for mechanical engineers will always be on the
uplift. Many mechanical engineers research, design, develop, manufacture, and test
tools, engines, machines, and other mechanical devices. (Bureau, 4). This branch,

A design course is usually the way to go but having a course study that included
mathematics and the physical and life sciences would further benefit the engineer
since they ll be a more defined engineer. (Bureau, 6). Many colleges offer two or
four year degree programs in engineering. For example, Penn State offers what they
call a 2+2 program. The program lets the student do his undergraduate studies at
any of the branch campuses throughout Pennsylvania for the first two years. After
those two years, the student will then be admitted to the main campus in
University Park to complete their graduate studies. The main difference between
the set of two years is that for the first two years, you ll be doing your core courses
as well as courses designed for your intended major. When you get to the main
campus, that s where you ll focus primarily on your specific field of engineering
with other students from across the state. Businesses often look for college
graduates who studied through a four year program instead of a two year. (Bureau,
6). Graduate training is essential if you were to want to earn promotions within a
certain company. This training isn t required for most entry level jobs. All fifty
states and the District of Columbia require that any engineer who offers their
services to the public to have a license or they can be fined heavily for it. These
licenses are good for up to four years and must be renewed much like a driver s
Fluoride Pros And Cons
What is fluoride? Water fluoridation has always been a hot topic and now it s at its
peak, from debates in the news among congressmen and from state to state. Fluoride
is a compound of chemicals that are used to help prevent tooth decay, and can prevent
loss of important minerals from the tooth enamel. Many Americans consume fluoride
through which can be found in water, soft drinks, and juice. Water fluoridationhas
been around since the 1940 s, when it was commonly known to be in everyone s
drinking water. There are four different ways to get fluoride: have a dentist apply it,
take fluoride tablets, using tooth paste with fluoride, and drinking water with
fluoride in it. When fluoride is applied it will help reduce cavities and help your
teeth be strong and less... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The history of fluoride dates back to the 1940 s when an experiment was
conducted in four major cities in the United States to see if water fluoridation
would help the communities with dental cavities. This study states that Over a ten
year period of fluoridation, the incidence of cavities in each city was cut in half.
The beneficial effect of fluoride was not dependent on the source of the fluoride
(Fallon 2006 pg. 2). The benefits of fluoride are great because if a person takes in
some fluoride over a period of time there will be less cavities and he/she will have
stronger teeth. Arkansas Dental Hygiene Association states, Community water
fluoridation is an effective, safe, and inexpensive way to prevent tooth decay.
Fluoridation benefits Americans of all ages and socioeconomic status. It has been
proven that the use of fluoride dental products can effectively prevent tooth decay in
People To People Student Ambassadors Report
Development is a simple word with a lot of meaning for everything in this world that
can evolve over a period of time. Life consists of many things that begin to grow piece
by piece into something bigger that becomes a beautiful sight. I started out just like
that from the time I was conceived to my childhood, which then transitioned into
something beautiful, adulthood.
The event that marked my transition from childhood to adulthood is when I was
accepted into the People to People Student Ambassadors Program. This program was
started by President Dwight D. Eisenhower in 1956 for a lifelong crusade for peace
that everyday citizens wanted a more peaceful world and could achieve it more
effectively without government interference. The People to People Student

I agree the Internet is a great platform individuals are given to socialize and transfer
information. It has enhanced our environment worldwide. You mentioned a
solider didn t have the accessible resources to connect with he/she family, but in
today s society that option is available for Skype to visually connect over the
internet. I found the internet of things has a major impact in our future of
mankind and on the daily life of the individuals, we are part of a world where
everything has the potential to be connected. As a matter of fact, it is estimated by
garner that by 2020, the installed base for the internet of things will exceed 212
billion and will be over 30 billion of connected things (Hucanu Georgescu, 2016).
The examples of the soldier, gospel, virtually around the world were great
examples that you incorporated in your paper. I agree it s important to protect the
copyright laws. You mentioned individual earning royalty for their music and it s
important to ensure copyright with the music. I found this to be true because
Copyright in a song is different from many other works. Each song holds two
copyrights: a copyright in the sand recording and a copyright in the musical
composition (Conte, 2017). Fischer explains how we should follow rules and it
shows respect. In Matthew 7:12 (ERV) says, Do for others what you would want
them to do for you . As it is so many creative people in the music industry it s

Sampling And Shrinking In Moby Dick
Sampling and remixing is a unique way that allows young authors to use another s
format as a jumping off point for mapping their own thoughts and feelings. This
process helps to eliminate the overwhelming feeling sometimes associated with
beginning from a blank canvas (pp. 56 58). Ricardo Pitts Wiley utilized a remix
method by combining the collective intelligence of urban youths, law enforcement,
counselors, artists, lawyers, and many more to reconstruct Melville s Moby Dick
into a modern day tale conveying the trials and successes of inner city young people
(p. 60). Using a classic novel as a springboard youth of today can see that their lives,
while different, are not so unlike adventures that occurred before them. Collective

It s safe to say that this dataset indicates that Castillo is pretty terrible when it comes
to framing pitches up in the zone.
He s not much better relatively speaking when it comes to the middle of the zone.
This data portal ranks his defense from 2014 2016 as yet again the worst out of all
103 qualified catchers with a 11.75 framing value. Yet again, it makes little
difference whether pitchers throw the ball inside or outside. His best year in the
three year sample was in 2016, when he ranked 73rd out of 76 qualified catchers.
Let me reiterate that this data portal ranks Castillo s defense most favorably. It s safe
to say that this dataset thinks little of Castillo s ability to frame pitches in the middle
of the zone.
Castillo excels when it comes to framing pitches in the bottom of the zone. From
2014 2016, his framing ability is ranked 28th out of 103 with a 6.32 value. He has
pretty poor results framing pitches in the inside part of the zone, ranking only 70th
out of 103 with a 1.33 value. However, he ranks 27th out of 103 framing pitches
low and away with a 3.03 pitch framing value and ranks 13th out of 103 framing
pitches that are just low but in the middle of the plate with a 4.63 pitch framing value.
In addition, Castillo has shown improvement at framing pitches low in the zone
each year. He ranked 12th out of 76 in 2016 (+9 runs), 29th out of 67 in 2015 (+2.1

In the long run, that s not going to work without more open competition, creativity
and entrepreneurship. India s hidden strength is that the country is already extremely
entrepreneurial but in the informal sector. An Indian friend mentions that most of the
cars we see on the roads, and many computers in the offices, are assembled in small,
informal factories, outside the law, to avoid the many regulations and taxes that still
curbs the Indian economy. Imagine what the Indians could do if all that energy was
legalized.
It is quicker to start a new business in China than in India. If India s labor laws are
better than China s, it s only because we re doing thing in socialism lite.
The Doing Business database ranks China a modest 91st on the overall ease of
doing business, with India worse but not dramatically so at 116th... in China it s
quicker to start a business, get goods from factory floor on board a container ship,
and register property. But Indians perhaps surprisingly seem to have more flexible
labour laws and fewer hassles with licences.
In India, about 670 industries are completely reserved for very small companies,
which means that the economy lose the benefits of scale, don t get foreign
investments and are unable to compete globally. In 2001, the average Indian clothing
company had only 50 machines, compared to 500 in the typical Chinese plant. The

Samsung s efficiency was also driven by the quality of its employees. All R D and
production engineers lived together in the same company provided housing, which
lead to quick design, resolve and process any issues in design or production which in
turn led to quick turnaround time, lower idle times and increased productivity. Also,
the site was located in the mountains where the air was fresh and clean, which meant
lower maintenance costs since most machinery was highly sensitive to dust and other

Second, the Human Resources promotion policies have shifted from their more
traditional structure (seniority) towards a meritocratic system where highly skilled
managers can be promoted as soon as eligible. Samsung has also heavily invested in
employees global business skills through various internal mobility and specializing

product design and process efficiency higher than its competitors.
Third, Samsung created new uses for DRAM by outing its manufacturing and R D

identity. Anger motivates powerful and aggressive feelings and behaviors, which
allow us to fight and defend ourselves when we are attacked. Anger is a warning bell
that tells us that something is wrong. Anger is a vitally important evolutionary gift
and without it we are perpetual victims. Anger can be a good thing, it allows
expressing negative feelings. Anger protects humans from sitting and boiling inside
body and mind. It stops the rise of many physical illnesses and mental distress.
Expressing the feeling of Anger indicates human s surviving and existence. This

It can be also the feeling of being heavily burdened, mentally or physically, by
troubles and anxiety. Oppression is considered the main mover of the French
Revolution that led to the extreme anger of revolutionaries. In A Tale of Two Cities
,
Dickens portrays the bad conditions that led French people to anger and rise for
their rights. Prior to the French Revolution, high aristocrats had no sympathy
towards the poor; all they cared about was their ability to do as they pleased.
According to Christopher Dentel, The aristocrats have no concern and no
sympathy for the poor; they know they are suffering and they do not care. The
marquis represents the evil and cruelty of the aristocracy. He shows completely no
regard for human life. Oppression in a Tale of Two Cities expresses between two
cities England and France that shows that the ruling class of Aristocrats has
oppressed the people. In France, the ruling class of aristocrats has oppressed the
people for so long that many are starving. The peasants were treated cruelly by the
corrupt ruling class, which lives in lavish opulence. In a Tale of Two Cities, The
marquis represents the evil of the aristocracy put into one ominous character. He
has a perfect mask. He represents the brutality of the French aristocracy. He shows
violence in all aspects like raping, killing, imprisoned without any reasons and that
created a lot of anger toward him and toward the aristocracy. Firstly, he is one of
the two involved in the crimes against the peasants .He resulted in Doctor manette`s
imprisonment. He also raped Mrs. Defarge s sister, being the reason for killing of
her father and brother. Finally, According to his inhuman events in the whole novel,
He even runs over small children in the street. The Marquis shows no remorse for
the child s death, and when child s father shows his grief, the Marquis throws him a

Compare and contrast the ways in which Pinter and Larkin show the pressures of
modern life on the individual
In both The Caretaker and Larkin s Collected Poems, Pinter and Larkin frequently
paint their characters to live in a relentless state of fear and anguish caused often by
the pressures of the external world. In this critical understanding of both writers, I
will explore how the variations of pressures from modern life effecting and potentially
harming individuals. The Caretaker and Collected Poems were both written in the
1960 s. The Swinging Sixties was a revolutionary time, with the introduction to new
influential music, the contraceptive pill and iconic fashion. These thriving

Mr Bleaney deals with a similar situation of characters residing in a fixed mind set
that leads to stagnant life. The speaker discusses similar physical restrictions and
issues that he and Mr Bleaney face living in the small cramped flat. The speaker
reflects Where Mr Bleaney lay, and stub my fags on the same saucer souvenir .
Both men share the same dismal habits showing negligence they have for their
futures. The concept of self induced entrapment within a safe sanctuary is brought
upon both characters, showing no real desire to expand to the exterior world. In
comparison, Aston in The Caretaker resides in a safe sanctuary of his home and
loyalty of the shed concept. As a victim of electrotherapy, Aston is scared from the
dangers of society s pressures on him, so he constantly keeps himself busy with
trivial tasks to keep his mind at rest. Pinter s stage directions support Aston anxious
habits, Aston crosses to the plug box to get another plug during one of Davies
excessively bogus stories, then later goes back to the bed just to fidget with the new
plug. Critic here supporting Aston s nervous ticks and reasoning behind it
Towards the end of the Mr Bleaney, Larkin potentially acknowledges that living in
fear is a life wasted. As the poem is retrospective, the speaker proclaims, That how
we live measures our own nature , as for Mr Bleaney who lived in trepidation of
existence beyond his measly flat, has wasted his life. The speaker reflects,
The Legend Of Mulan By Mulan
The Legend of Mulan
Mulan was a legendary warrior, who disguises herself as a man to fight during the
Southern and Northern Dynasties (386 589).1 China was separated into North and
South. Where North China was under the control of the Tuoba Clan, a Mongol
people not of Han descent.2 While the Southern Kingdom was under the control of
the Chinese people.3 It was during these time the legend of Mulan can be interpreted
in many different many ways across history. The earliest record is the Poem of
Mulan and Song of Mulan , who both referenced the heroine in the times of the
Northern Wei period (386 533). 4 These poems described Mulan as a heroine who

That only leaves the mother, Mulan and her sister to take care of the family if the

Mulan persuade her family to let her go into military service. She was able to fit
into her father s armor and successfully disguise herself as a man and rode off to

Rosenhan Experiment Essay
Rosenhan experiment The Rosenhan experiment was an experiment into the validity
of psychiatric diagnosis, conducted by David Rosenhan in 1973. The study is
considered an important and influential criticism of psychiatric diagnosis. Rosenhan s
study was done in two parts. The first part involved the use of healthy associates who
briefly simulated auditory hallucinations in an attempt to gain admission to 12
different psychiatric hospitals in five different states in various locations in the
United States. All were admitted and diagnosed with psychiatric disorders. After
admission, the pseudopatients acted normally and told staff that they felt fine and
had not experienced any more hallucinations. All were forced to admit to having a...

The hospital staffs were not informed of the experiment. The pseudopatients included
a psychology graduate student in his twenties, three psychologists, a pediatrician, a
psychiatrist, a painter and a housewife. None had a history of mental illness.
Pseudopatients used pseudonyms, and those who worked in the mental health field
were given false jobs in a different sector to avoid invoking any special treatment or
scrutiny. Apart from giving false names and employment details, further biographical
details were truthfully reported. During their initial psychiatric assessment, they
claimed to be hearing voices of the same sex as the patient which were often unclear,
but which seemed to pronounce the words empty , hollow , thud and nothing else.
These words were chosen as they vaguely suggest some sort of existential crisis and
for the lack of any published literature referencing them as psychoticsymptoms. No
other psychiatric symptoms were claimed. If admitted, the pseudopatients were
instructed to act normally , reporting that they felt fine and no longer heard voices.
Hospital records obtained after the experiment indicate that all pseudopatients were
characterized as friendly and cooperative by staff. All were admitted, to 12 different
psychiatric hospitals across the United States, including rundown and underfunded
public hospitals in rural areas, urban

Abstract
Texans believe that participating in the Texas Lottery helps the Texas Education
Foundation but little do they know; how much money actually goes to the Texas
Education Foundation. The effect of the Texas Lottery is causing more of a negative
impact on Texans than the Education Foundation is benefiting.
The Texas Lottery negatively impacts the people that play the lottery and the
programs that are supposed to benefit from the proceeds. Because of the big dream
of winning, the lottery has taken a toll on Texans. People believe that the Texas
Lottery is their only chance to strike it rich (Buckland, 2010). There is not near

Texans voted for a constitutional amendment that allowed funds of the lottery to be
dedicated to education funding. But the Texas Legislature examined Lottery funds of
other states including California and Florida who had dedicated lottery money to the
education and discovered that these states had less money for education. Critics from
this era believed that states without lotteries collected fewer taxes than the states with
lotteries. (Heines amp; Tinsley 1997).
In 2009, a great amount of the stimulus funds were designated for education
spending. The 91 billion dollars that was supported by this fund did not cover the
total federal spending on education of the years 2008 to 2009 which summed up to
be 667 billion dollars. An estimation of 570 billion dollars was not supported by the
total education bill of federal spending. It costs an estimated 35 billion dollars to
cover kindergarten through twelfth grade on a yearly basis. (Voice,2011).
Texas law says lottery proceeds are supposed to go toward education (Oberg 2011).
The lottery has only given one billion dollars every year to Texas Schools since
1998, but since lottery sales have become greater, the lottery has not been giving
more money to the Texas schools. Even with the lottery earnings increasing the
amount of money applied towards the Education Fund has not shown the difference
of cash increase. One of the reasons why education is not

During a major asthma attach the lung not ventilating properly caused respiratory
acidosis. This makes the lungs retain carbon dioxide. When carbon dioxide mixes

all the lands. Batharious was visited by the goddess of everything good Zelandra,
who later blessed him and deemed him her champion, her Champion of Light.
Unfortunately, this blessing was double sided, for this had awoken the ire of

Renaissance Jousting And Fencing Essay
Renaissance Jousting and fencing John choi pr 1
One of the earliest forms of weapon to weapon combat was jousting and fencing.
Jousting was one of the earliest forms of horseback combat for soldiers, before it was
even a sport, and fencing dates back to the Egyptians as an early fighting style. The
art of jousting involves the use of a lance which was a long pointed spear with a cone
all the way to the base of the handle and fencing required a Rapier, which was a thin
long sword that was more of a jabbing weapon than a slicing weapon. These two
martial arts have been through lots of changes throughout the renaissance. Jousting

Fencing has always been regarded as more than a sport; it is an art form, an ancient
symbol of power and glory, and a deeply personal, individual form of expression.В
The lance or Pike was a cone like spear that was to be used on a horseback knight
and was used as the leading charge in the cavalry. On the back of the shaft where
pole meets spear there was a guard called a Vamplate to prevent the hand from
sliding into the spear, after the Pike had hit the target. The lance was typically not
used in close range melee due to its tremendous weight and size and the lancers,
would always carry a small sword, or mace for had to hand combat when they were
off of the horse. The Fencing sword or Rapier is a thin long pointed sword that was
mostly used as a jabbing weapon than the traditional slicing weapon. The Rapier
relied on quick thrusts the pierce open spots on ones armor. The Rapier consists of
the blade; hilt and handle like traditional swords except the Rapier had a very thin
blade, with a complex guard that was used to protect the hand from other blades

Summary Of The Love Song Of J. Alfred Prufrock
As T.S Eliot writes The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock , he gives insight into a
modern man . This modern man is recognized not only by his looks, but also by his
boredom and isolation with the subject of love. As this song progresses it is easy
to see that these aspects play a part into his whole life. Prufrock is not only
searching for love, but is also learning much about himself during the process. J.
Alfred Prufrock is a man who dresses nice and has expensive taste. This is seen
through out the stanzas of 37 45. The modern man knows how to play the part of
looking like a gentleman. He is nicely dressed as he talks about being in a suit with
a necktie and just a simple pin to decorate it. He states this and then questions his
actual appearance noting that the women will not notice due to the way his body
looks. Prufrock worries that his looks are not pleasing anymore as he states, They
will say: But how his arms and legs are thin! (Baym 44). As he says this it could be
interpreted that the women might prefer a man who has a more pronounced body
that is larger or with muscles, and possibly with a bigger build. Prufrock wants to
look good for the women, but he is worried that all they will see are his deficits.
They will say: How his hair is growing thin! (Baym 41), he contemplates on even if
he should join in society because he does not want to be criticized for how old he
looks. The thinning of his hair suggests that he is not young anymore, and the
Wallace, Gamelyn And Robin Hood Analysis
The stories of Wallace, Gamelyn, and Robin Hood are medieval legends written by
Maurice Keen in The Outlaws of Medieval Legend. Keen depicts the popular legends
of medieval heroes who became outlaws during the thirteenth to fifteen centuries. He
also defines the term outlaw, which is, a person who puts himself outside the
protection of the law. What their attitudes and why were these outlawsworshiped as
heroes? The reason varies in each story. Keen maintains the main theme of outlawry.
Wallace, Gamelyn, and Robin Hoodall have negative attitudes toward both secular
and religious authorities, as they fight against tyrants and oppression to become
heroes of medieval people.
The first outlaw legend of Wallace shows that he had attitudes of racial hatred
toward the English and different opinions with Scottish aristocracies, but there is
no sufficient evidence of his action against religious people. Wallace was a
patriotic warrior and a leader of the Scottish rebellion that sought independence
from English tyranny. Keen (2000) claims Scottish people suffered the behaviors
and barbaric actions of English soldiers (p. 66). With Wallace, the sheriff of Lanark
murdered his beloved lady, Marion Bradfute, and this unreasonable cruel toward
innocent people ignited his anger and hatred. He killed the sheriff of Lanark and
became an outlaw afterward. Wallace disagreed with Scottish aristocracies, who held
lands in England, to compromise with the conqueror Edward I. However, Wallace
China s Population Law
China s population law was instituted in 1979 under the leadership of Deng

law is because they were afraid that rising numbers in the population would result in

Nearly 12 million hectares of pasturelands are also substantially degraded. Thus, a
total of 132 million hectares representing 40 per cent of the country s total landmass
have productivity well below their potential (Tejwani Yadav, 1998).
Causes of land degradation
The main causes of land degradation are deforestation, ignorance of soil conservation
practices, extension of cultivation to marginal lands, improper crop rotation,
imbalanced fertiliser use, surface irrigation ironically designed to increase land
productivity, rapid growth in population, paucity of land, economic pressures and
poverty.
Air Pollution The World Health Organization estimates that about two million
people die prematurely every year as a result of air pollution, while many more
suffer from breathing ailments, heart disease, lung infections and even cancer.Fine
particles or microscopic dust from coal or wood fires and unfiltered diesel engines
are rated as one of the most lethal forms or air pollution caused by industry,
transport, household heating, cooking and ageing coal or oil fired power stations.
There are four reasons of air pollution are emissions from vehicles, thermal power
plants, industries and refineries. The problem of indoor air pollution in rural areas
and urban slums has increased. A latest example industrial pollution is the leak of
chlorine gas in Mumbai. On July 14, 2010 nearly 76 people were treated in
Designing The World s First Vertically Integrated Clean...
With its offer to acquire SolarCity, Tesla wants to create the world s first vertically
integrated clean energy company encompassing everything from power
generation, to storage and to transportation. As one company, Tesla (storage) and
SolarCity (solar) can create fully integrated residential, commercial and grid scale
products that improve the way that energy is generated, stored and consumed.
Tesla has offered an all stock offer of $2.6 billion for SolarCity (Szal, Tesla,
SolarCity Hope Merger Will Accelerate Solar Energy, 2016). This would be a steep
discount compared to SolarCity s stock price of just a year or two ago when it was
trading above $65 per share. Since reaching those highs, SolarCity s stock price
has fallen to the $15 $25 range. A combined Tesla and SolarCity will be able to
provide the first ever opportunity to generate, store and consume energy entirely
sustainably, through a suite of integrated products that add aesthetics and function
while reducing cost. By leveraging SolarCity s installation network and Tesla s
global retail footprint, this can be accomplished in a way that is seamless for
customers and that will create significant value for shareholders. On October 28th,
Tesla and SolarCity unveiled a solar roof product, which along with Powerwall 2.0,
which showcases the kinds of products that the combined company will be able to
create. The newly announced solar roof from SolarCity can be integrated with Tesla

Sheila Priestley s `` Sheila Mant `` And The Boy Must...
I read the short story, Sheila Mant by W.D Wetherell. In this story a boy falls in love
with a girl... not any girl but with Sheila Mant. All summer long he tries to show off
to his dream girl. One day he had the guts to ask her out on a date. He wants to take
her to a concert on a canoe but Sheila dislikes anything to do with fishing. As the boy
was paddling across river he heard a sound that was very familiar. It was a bass, but
not any kind of bass. The boy described it as the biggest bass he has ever seen in his
life. Would he chose the bass over the girl or would he chose to lose the bass for the
girl of his dreams? in this journal, I will be predicting whether the boy will chose
Sheila or the bass.

and Sheila Y. Bass R. Doesn t listen to Sheila R. Knows a lot about the bass R.

Throughout the short story Sheila Mant , the boy must decide between the bass
and Sheila. ......... First of all, as the main character tries to secretly reel in the big
bass, he doesn t listen to a word Sheila is saying. The author shows us this in the
book While all this was going on, Sheila had begun talking and it was a few minutes
before I was able to catch up with her train of thought (Wetherell 3). This

It is internally focused because it involves motivating, mobilizing, co opting, and
managing employees. It is externally focused because it is designed to improve the
way a company serves its customers. Therefore, internal marketing provides a way to
encourage employees to continually improve the way they serve customers and each
other. Third, an increase in employee satisfaction motivates workers to be more
engaged and, as a result, they are more likely to rake actions that result in increased
guest satisfaction and profitability. For example, Spinelli and Canavos suggest that
the most satisfied employees respond best to the needs of individual guests, which
increases the overall level of satisfaction of the guests. (3) Fourth, one of the most
difficult things to manage in organizations is change. For organizations in transition,
internal marketing is crucial. Internal marketing helps reinforce and develop a culture
where the need for change is understood and accepted. As a result, the organization is
more successful at implementing new strategies, which improves the chances that the
strategies will be successful. Positive Employee Behavior One of the basic benefits
of successful internal marketing is the ability to motivate employees to practice
behavior that will assist in the

The Conflict Between Christians And Muslims
Perspective comes from the Latin words per and spectare and literally means: to
look through. Therefore, perspective, in its most rudimentary definition, means the
way one looks at things. This definition can be elaborated upon and become
synonymous with belief. A perspective can be open or limited, abstract or logical,
optimistic or pessimistic. With these opposites, it can be difficult to blend one s
views with another s. People are fascinated with perspectives. Humans love the
conflict that comes with opposing opinions. Consequently, arguments are always
blown out of proportion. For instance, take the popularity of legal dramas, the feud
between Christians and Muslims, or the pro and anti homosexuality rallies. Some of
the most famous works of literature are about changing perspectives such as Harper
Lee s To Kill a Mockingbird, a story about strong prejudices being exercised in a
small town. Articles have been written concerning changing perspectives for example,
David Dobb s writing Beautiful Brains , a study looking into the minds of teenagers
and explaining their set apart behaviors. Both of these pieces tell about the transition
from child to adult and the perspectives that come with this growth. Coming of age
involves recognizing different perspectives.
In Harper Lee s To Kill a Mockingbird Jem is an example of a character whose
coming of age process involves gaining a new perspective. Jem is told that he must

Themes In Kindred
Kindred follows the experience of Dana, the narrator and protagonists of the novel,
as she is mysteriously taken out her present day and time and transported to the
Antebellum South. Through this experience, she must adapt to the ways of an
enslaved black woman, as she confronts the limitations slavery has placed against
black people. In order to survive, she must completely change her way of thinking
and how she does things. As she focuses on attempting to save her on life, she also
has the lives of her ancestors on her shoulder as she must continuously save the life of
Rufus. Rufus is the white son of a plantation owner and eventually fathers one of her
ancestors. Overall, she has to discover the determination for the strength that is

Especially, the unknown circumstances behind the diminishing of her great great
grandmother s personal accounts of slavery. The difficulty of her finding and tracing
back her roots, even though she had the most personal resource of her own
grandparents, is what sparked the passion within to discover the situation of slavery
more closely. In her words, to fill in the blank spaces of the historical record and to
represent the lives of those deemed unworthy of remembering. (Hartman,
Asymmetric Warfare Is An Inherently Relational Concept
The asymmetry in asymmetric warfare is an inherently relational concept. It refers
to a relative dissimilarity between opponents in battle, derived from a difference in
relational strength amid warring sides. This asymmetry has tended to be in terms of
status and organization; means and resources, goals and objectives; and strategies
and tactics. The relationship between the belligerents in today s conflicts varies in
many tactical, strategic and operational levels, which has come to be perceived as
changing warfare. This popular perception is that with the rise of asymmetric warfare,
conventional warfare had transformed from a customary and symmetric exercise into
an irregular, avant garde, asymmetric experience. In contrast to this perspective, the
main argument here is that asymmetric warfare is not a new genus of warthat has
risen in the twentieth century as a distinct revolution in military affairs, but rather,
asymmetric warfare is a perennial characteristic of warfare, or set of distinct conflict
dynamics in warfare that occasionally surface out of asymmetric strength between
opponents in war.
At the foundation of this essay is a question calling for the analysis of the rise of
asymmetric warfare . However, after analyzing the history of asymmetric warfare and
the changes and behaviors that have taken place through this time as this essay will
do my perspective is critical of the assumption in the question that asymmetric warfare
has risen . Warfare, in

Example Of Admission Essay. How to write a college admission essay

  • 1. Example Of Admission Essay Crafting an essay on the topic of an admission essay about oneself can be an intricate and demanding task. The challenge lies not only in presenting a compelling narrative but also in striking the delicate balance between showcasing personal achievements, aspirations, and unique qualities while adhering to the formal structure and guidelines set by educational institutions. The difficulty intensifies as the writer grapples with the need to stand out among numerous applicants. The pressure to articulate experiences and attributes in a manner that captures the attention of admission committees can be overwhelming. There's a constant fear of sounding clichГ© or, conversely, deviating too far from the conventional norms of admission essays. Moreover, self-reflection and introspection, essential elements of such essays, require a deep dive into one's own life, values, and aspirations. This process can be emotionally taxing, demanding sincere self-assessment and a willingness to share personal stories that may feel vulnerable. Additionally, the challenge extends to maintaining a clear and concise writing style while ensuring that all relevant aspects of one's character and experiences are adequately covered. Balancing humility with self-promotion is an art that writers must master to create a genuine and appealing narrative. While seeking feedback from peers and mentors is crucial, it can also add to the complexity, as incorporating diverse perspectives without losing one's authentic voice becomes a delicate task. In conclusion, writing an essay on the topic of an admission essay about oneself requires a blend of creativity, self-awareness, and strategic storytelling. The writer must navigate through the intricacies of self-reflection, personal disclosure, and adherence to formal writing norms to craft a piece that leaves a lasting impression on the admission committee. If you find yourself struggling with such essays or need assistance, it's worth noting that HelpWriting.net offers services where you can order similar essays and much more to support your academic journey. Developmental Milestones in the First Two Years of Life Developmental Milestones in the First Two Years of Life Many of us have had the opportunity to observe infants and how they develop through time, whether it is our children, siblings, or just a family friend we can all agree it is extremely interesting to watch children grow. I am currently about 8 months pregnant and I feel it is very important for me to understand how my daughter to be will develop. It is important for parents especially to know how a child should grow and mature so they know if their children are on the right track or not. Without knowing how a child is supposed to develop one may never know if their child has a developmental disability or not. The best way to diagnose a developmental disability is the parents ... In this stage infants start to organize schemes for sensory and motor activities, actions are voluntarily repeated, but the infant actions are still centered on bodily experiences and instinct satisfaction. The third sub stage is when the baby starts to focus on the external world and secondary circular reactions; this happens around four to eight months. Babies also develop schemes for repeating actions with interesting effects on things and people in the world during this sub stage. The fourth sub stage is coordinating the secondary circular reactions around eight to twelve months. In this stage infants can organize a series of mental structures for various actions and develop intentionality of behavior, they can separate schemes for means and ends, and facilitate the accomplishment of simple goals. The fifth sub stage is when the external oriented attention generates and tertiary circular reactions, this is from twelve to eighteen months. Around this time infants grow into toddlers and they seek discovery of new information about how things and people work. The final/sixth sub stage is pretty important and several development milestones occur, this is eighteen to twenty four months. In this sub stage object permanence is acquired and toddlers understand objects continue to exist independent from self generated actions and sensory experiences. (Petrill,
  • 4. Oppression on Women in Margaret Atwood s the Handmaid s... Oppression on Women in Margaret Atwood s The Handmaid s Tale and Marjane Satrapi s Persepolis Persepolis, by Marjane Satrapi, is memoir of a little girl growing in Iran. She refers to a secular pre revolutionary time through contrast, the oppressive characteristics of the fundamentalist government upon women in particular. Her work is a lot similar to Margaret Atwood s, A Handmaid s Tale, in which the protagonist Offred reflects upon her former life s freedom, cherishing her former name and in doing so emphasizes the cloistered and enslaved life that she must now endure. Although both Margaret Atwood and Satrapi show how a totalitarian state oppresses women in different ways by taking away the freedom to think and decide for oneself, both ... In Haindmaid s Tale, women are divided into a small range of social categories, each one signified by a specific color dress in a similar style: [...] her usual Martha s dress, which is dull green, like a surgeon s gown of the time before. The dress is much like mine in shape, long and concealing, but with a bib apron over it and without the white wings and the veil. She puts on the veil to go outside, but nobody much cares who sees the face of a Martha. (9) Martha s are made less by their clothes. When a woman is wearing the green Martha s dress no one is interested in looking at her as a person. She is just a servant. Martha s dress makes the woman serviceable not desirable, useful but undesirable. Pride and dignity is taken away from women in Gilead. They are isolated from their families and are tortured by their memories. They are handed a dress code depending on the role they play and are forced to abide by that. After Satrapi designs a new uniform for her school, she says, this is how I recovered my self esteem and my dignity. For the first time in a long time, I was happy with myself (298). Undeniably this dress code in both the books make women no longer an individual but an object for specific use, stripping them of their identities and giving them no choice. • 5. The Controvercial Big Bang Theory Have you ever wondered about the start of time? How about the start of the universe? Well, this question has been nagging astronomers and scientists alike for years and years. But in 1927, Georges Lemaitre proposed one of the most controversial theory of all time, the Big Bang. The Big Bang is a theory about the start of the universe. People have talked about it for years and it s very controversial. First, let s start with the theory. The Big Bang was first formed by Georges Lemaitre. He is the first person to actually propose this theory. He also derived Hubble s Law . Hubble s Law helps estimate the rate of expansion of the universe. The equation is H=v/d where H is Hubble s constant, v is the velocity of the galaxy, and d is the distance from the earth. Even though it seems that he is a 24 hour scientist, he is, however, a Belgian priest. This theory is believed to have created the universe. Its occurrence was estimated to be 13.8 billion years ago. Of course, this is all estimation. No one knows when exactly it happened. Again, people have different beliefs. Now, to further express the above statement that people have different beliefs, there are a lot of different forms of this theory. I have handpicked 7 different forms of this single theory to share with you. Here they are in order. The Universe must have been born in this single violent event which came to be known as The Big Bang . Inflation set of a series of BIG BANGS, each one spawning the birth of a new

What has been perceived generally in our societies is that women are the creation of God who sacrifice for others and care selflessly. It is the males who are seen as the abusers, the ones who murder, kill others for their selfish motives. That is true but not completely. The majority of people who abuse, or kill are males. However, women are also seen as doing these acts so anonymous to their feminism . Women also murder, and surprisingly, they can be even more dangerous than males (Deborah, 2000). What is the purpose behind the murders? Women kill largely for instrumental reasons such as monetary gain rather than affective reasons such as achieving motional satisfaction. Absent is the presence of sexual fantasy as a motivating factor (Richard N.Kocsis, 2007). A survey of known serial killers worldwide reveals that 41% of homicidal women kill for profit or greed. Female serial killers who victimize their own children and other relatives sometimes have a much stranger motive than profit. According to psychiatrists, some of them become addicted to the sympathetic attention they receive after the death of their loved ones (Micheal John, 2008). TYPES OF FEMALE SERIAL MURDERERS Black widows The nickname of such killers, of course, comes from the black widow spider, which kills its partner after mating. Human black widows are essentially the same. They usually start killing after the age of twenty five, and for a decade or longer they

The program lets the student do his undergraduate studies at any of the branch campuses throughout Pennsylvania for the first two years. After those two years, the student will then be admitted to the main campus in University Park to complete their graduate studies. The main difference between the set of two years is that for the first two years, you ll be doing your core courses as well as courses designed for your intended major. When you get to the main campus, that s where you ll focus primarily on your specific field of engineering with other students from across the state. This study states that Over a ten year period of fluoridation, the incidence of cavities in each city was cut in half. The beneficial effect of fluoride was not dependent on the source of the fluoride (Fallon 2006 pg. 2). The benefits of fluoride are great because if a person takes in some fluoride over a period of time there will be less cavities and he/she will have stronger teeth. Life consists of many things that begin to grow piece by piece into something bigger that becomes a beautiful sight. The event that marked my transition from childhood to adulthood is when I was accepted into the People to People Student Ambassadors Program. This program was started by President Dwight D. Ricardo Pitts Wiley utilized a remix method by combining the collective intelligence of urban youths, law enforcement, counselors, artists, lawyers, and many more to reconstruct Melville s Moby Dick into a modern day tale conveying the trials and successes of inner city young people (p. 60). This data portal ranks his defense from 2014 2016 as yet again the worst out of all 103 qualified catchers with a 11.75 framing value. Yet again, it makes little difference whether pitchers throw the ball inside or outside. His best year in the three year sample was in 2016, when he ranked 73rd out of 76 qualified catchers. Let me reiterate that this data portal ranks Castillo s defense most favorably. It s safe to say that this dataset thinks little of Castillo s ability to frame pitches in the middle of the zone. • 35. Summary Of The Love Song Of J. Alfred Prufrock As T.S Eliot writes The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock , he gives insight into a modern man . This modern man is recognized not only by his looks, but also by his boredom and isolation with the subject of love. As this song progresses it is easy to see that these aspects play a part into his whole life. Prufrock is not only searching for love, but is also learning much about himself during the process. J. Alfred Prufrock is a man who dresses nice and has expensive taste. This is seen through out the stanzas of 37 45. The modern man knows how to play the part of looking like a gentleman. He is nicely dressed as he talks about being in a suit with a necktie and just a simple pin to decorate it. He states this and then questions his actual appearance noting that the women will not notice due to the way his body looks. Prufrock worries that his looks are not pleasing anymore as he states, They will say: But how his arms and legs are thin! (Baym 44). As he says this it could be interpreted that the women might prefer a man who has a more pronounced body that is larger or with muscles, and possibly with a bigger build. Prufrock wants to look good for the women, but he is worried that all they will see are his deficits. They will say: How his hair is growing thin! (Baym 41), he contemplates on even if he should join in society because he does not want to be criticized for how old he looks. The thinning of his hair suggests that he is not young anymore, and the
  • 36. Wallace, Gamelyn And Robin Hood Analysis The stories of Wallace, Gamelyn, and Robin Hood are medieval legends written by Maurice Keen in The Outlaws of Medieval Legend. Keen depicts the popular legends of medieval heroes who became outlaws during the thirteenth to fifteen centuries. He also defines the term outlaw, which is, a person who puts himself outside the protection of the law. What their attitudes and why were these outlawsworshiped as heroes? The reason varies in each story. Keen maintains the main theme of outlawry. Wallace, Gamelyn, and Robin Hoodall have negative attitudes toward both secular and religious authorities, as they fight against tyrants and oppression to become heroes of medieval people. The first outlaw legend of Wallace shows that he had attitudes of racial hatred toward the English and different opinions with Scottish aristocracies, but there is no sufficient evidence of his action against religious people. Wallace was a patriotic warrior and a leader of the Scottish rebellion that sought independence from English tyranny. Keen (2000) claims Scottish people suffered the behaviors and barbaric actions of English soldiers (p. 66). With Wallace, the sheriff of Lanark murdered his beloved lady, Marion Bradfute, and this unreasonable cruel toward innocent people ignited his anger and hatred. He killed the sheriff of Lanark and became an outlaw afterward. Wallace disagreed with Scottish aristocracies, who held lands in England, to compromise with the conqueror Edward I. However, Wallace

  • 43. The Conflict Between Christians And Muslims Perspective comes from the Latin words per and spectare and literally means: to look through. Therefore, perspective, in its most rudimentary definition, means the way one looks at things. This definition can be elaborated upon and become synonymous with belief. A perspective can be open or limited, abstract or logical, optimistic or pessimistic. With these opposites, it can be difficult to blend one s views with another s. People are fascinated with perspectives. Humans love the conflict that comes with opposing opinions. Consequently, arguments are always blown out of proportion. For instance, take the popularity of legal dramas, the feud between Christians and Muslims, or the pro and anti homosexuality rallies. Some of the most famous works of literature are about changing perspectives such as Harper Lee s To Kill a Mockingbird, a story about strong prejudices being exercised in a small town. Articles have been written concerning changing perspectives for example, David Dobb s writing Beautiful Brains , a study looking into the minds of teenagers and explaining their set apart behaviors. Both of these pieces tell about the transition from child to adult and the perspectives that come with this growth. Coming of age involves recognizing different perspectives. In Harper Lee s To Kill a Mockingbird Jem is an example of a character whose coming of age process involves gaining a new perspective. Jem is told that he must read to his mean neighbor Mrs. Dubose after tearing up

  • 45. Asymmetric Warfare Is An Inherently Relational Concept The asymmetry in asymmetric warfare is an inherently relational concept. It refers to a relative dissimilarity between opponents in battle, derived from a difference in relational strength amid warring sides. This asymmetry has tended to be in terms of status and organization; means and resources, goals and objectives; and strategies and tactics. The relationship between the belligerents in today s conflicts varies in many tactical, strategic and operational levels, which has come to be perceived as changing warfare. This popular perception is that with the rise of asymmetric warfare, conventional warfare had transformed from a customary and symmetric exercise into an irregular, avant garde, asymmetric experience. In contrast to this perspective, the main argument here is that asymmetric warfare is not a new genus of warthat has risen in the twentieth century as a distinct revolution in military affairs, but rather, asymmetric warfare is a perennial characteristic of warfare, or set of distinct conflict dynamics in warfare that occasionally surface out of asymmetric strength between opponents in war. At the foundation of this essay is a question calling for the analysis of the rise of asymmetric warfare . However, after analyzing the history of asymmetric warfare and the changes and behaviors that have taken place through this time as this essay will do my perspective is critical of the assumption in the question that asymmetric warfare has risen . Warfare, in
