The long awaited fifth birthday had finally arrived, the cake was yellow, the new bicycle was

The Community Of A Virtual Village
As a part of the virtual village project volunteer, our aim was to research about our community
regarding necessities of older adults, their accessibility to healthcare, and overall what resources
are available for them that make their life easy to live. Our group decided to focus on Edgewater

What Is The Syntax In Night By Elie Wiesel
Night, by Elie Wiesel, is a memoir on his gruesome experiences in his time in Auschwitz. After
the first edition of the book, there was a section which he changed the language and syntax to
possibly make his text more powerful, and to spell check and revise any errors he had because at
the time, he was only 20. The change of the text was much more effective than the old version
because the syntax made the section stand out more and the diction was much better to make the
section overall much more powerful to the readers. The use of syntax was much more effective in
the newer version than the old version because it makes all the words seem independent and makes

In the section, he used just silent sky in the newer version unlike the old version where he used
silent blue sky . The interpretation of blue in this setting makes it feel like a nice beautiful day
in a concentration camp and makes things feel more pleasant and relaxing which does not help
support the fact that this is Auschwitz. Colors should be dark gloomy colors such as a dark gray
or a black or none at all which he used in the newer version. The use of just silent sky not only
makes it feel darker, but makes it feel abrupt and more powerful so in this case, less is more. The

nothing, dust means gone completely and there is no turning back and you re now just waiting
to be gone. This is dark but there has to be some hope left, seeing that the Jews always just held

also admit to trying tobacco products because of peer pressure and social situations. Teenagers

they want others to like them. Believe it or not, peer pressure can be a very powerful thing.
Although many people like to view themselves as being in control, others can easily influence the
mind. This explains why so many teenagers and young adults give in to smoking cigarettes or
using other tobacco products. Being an eighteen year old college student, I understand that life is
