Universal or 20th Century Fox would be suitable distributors for the media product. Universal distributes films across many genres, including action, comedy, horror and thrillers. 20th Century Fox also handles a wide range of genres, such as comedy, romance, thriller and horror. Walt Disney Pictures was deemed unsuitable as they do not often distribute thrillers and aim their films at younger audiences.

2. What kind of media institution might
distribute your media product and why?
 Using the internet I researched many distributors and using the companies
name I researched about them specifically and checked what kind of movies
each distributor would distribute. Some of the biggest distributors I found
were Universal, Walt Disney Pictures and 20th Centaury Fox. These companies
distribute all types of movies no matter what genre it is.

3. Walt Disney Picutres
 Researching into Walt Disney Pictures I found out they had a lot of successful
movies, some of which include, The Avengers which grossed 1.51 billion
dollars, Pirate Of The Caribbean Dead Mans Chest, which grossed 1.07 billion
dollars and finally Pirates Of The Caribbean On Stranger Tides, which grossed
1.04 billion dollars. Regardless, in the early days of Walt Disney Pictures they
distributed many animated movies for children, maybe the age of 15 and
under. For example A Bugs Life, Alice In Wonderland and Monsters Inc. These
are movies that little kids would enjoy watching as it entertains them.
However they also do movies that are suitable for adults like Bedtime Stories,
College Road Trip and Ironman. These movies are more suitable for people a
bit older, middle aged.
 I do not think that Walt Disney Pictures could distribute our movie, because
they do not distribute thrillers much, plus their audience is mainly young kids.

4. Universal
 I then did further research into Universal found out that the genres they
distribute correlates to their name. They distribute all sorts of genres such as:
 Action (The Man With Iron Fists)
 Comedy (This Is 40)
 Horror (Ouija)
 Thriller (Lucy & The Purge: Anarchy).
 Considering that they distribute many different genres, Universal could be the
company to distribute our movie.

5. 20th Centaury Fox
 When researching about 20th Centaury Fox, I found that they are pretty
similar to Universal when it comes to distributing movies. They distribute
movies from all genres.
 Comedy - Lets Be Cops
 Romance - A Fault In Our Stars
 Thriller - Gone Girl
 Horror - The Pyramid
 Understanding that 20th Centaury Fox distribute all sorts of genres including
thrillers, personally I think that this distributer could distribute our movie.
