2. A production company creates ideas in motion pictures, TV programmes, adverts etc.
They may also fund the product.
I think that Universal Studios would be interested in my product as they have
distributed many films targeting a similar audience and produced in a similar style.
Universal Studios have distributed films such as Kickass which also features ordinary
teenagers following icons and dressing as superheroes. There is also an ‘underdog’
feel in both my films and the film Role Models which was also distributed by Universal
Studios. Both of these films follow geeks struggling against society and finding their
escape, such as dressing up. Universal Studios distribute a lot of films similar to my
genres, comedy and action. They distributed American Pie, a film famously known for
it’s crude humour. My product is largely similar to these films and as Universal
Studios have experience distributing such films I think they would be a wise choice.
This is an important factor during distributing, to ensure that my product is produced
to the highest possible standard and that the distributors are a reliable source.
During production of my product, Universal Studios extended knowledge of
familiarising and specialising in the films target audience would benefit my product
massively and would commercially increase the audience size of my film. It would also
design and construct a product that would appeal to my audience to ensure sales and
popularity with the new film and it’s audience. Universal Studios also hold access to
NBC New York and NBC Chicago that include sound stages. Universal also provide
multiple production services. Their special effects rentals could be used to ensure the
finest quality in the fight scenes of my film.

3. Paramount Pictures produce a wide range of films, some similar to my product. They
distributed the film ‘Without A Paddle’, based on three friends on an adventure,
experiencing new things. It targets the same audience as my product which is why I
think this company would be interested in distributing my film. The film targets young
males just as my product does as well as being in the comedy genre.
The company must be reliable, this is why I believe Paramount Pictures would be a
good choice as they have been running for over 100 years and are already planning
for 2014.
The money could come from The National Lottery or the UK film council, they funded

England
