                choice for a distributor.
ADVERTISING

 Most of the money made by magazines is from the advertising
  inside the issues.
 By looking at Kerrang! magazine, it is clear that it uses a lot
of cross promotion to advertise the name of the company for
example Kerrang! Radio is advertised multiple times in the
  magazine.
 Another brand that appeared many times in both Kerrang! and
Q was HMV which fits in well with the music side of the

 Many music magazines often only include music

WHAT ADVERTISEMENTS

 In Echo magazine the adverts that would be included would be
both up and coming music release to relate with the artists in

Play.com and Ticketmaster as they all associate with similar
  music genres.
 The demographic that would be attracted to
Echo magazine would also be attracted to the
concerts and albums that will be advertised
therefore helping the promotion of dif ferent
                brands.
 The focus on music promotions would appeal
much more to the audience as they will already
be interested in the genre and have an
                attraction to music itself.
OTHER MEDIA

 An online version of Echo magazine would be essential to
promote the brand internationally as it would give access to
the updates and dif ferent issues. It would also help people to
  get involved with the magazine.

 It would also be a consideration to develop an App to link to
the music magazine. This would keep audiences up to date
and interest a wider amount of people.
