The color scheme of red, black, and white that respondents preferred conveys the indie-rock genre and social group through use of the rock-associated color black and modern colors of red and white. This neutral color palette makes the magazine appealing to both males and females.

- 1. AS MEDIA EVALUATION – Q.2 How does your media product represent particular social groups?
- 2. • I must admit that the representation of the female gender in my product is very much non-existent, as there are no women to be seen through-out my 3 viewpoints. • At the time of the creation of my magazine, it was not something I had put much thought into, however I did make it very clear that my magazine would target male audiences from an age range of 16-18 years.
- 3. • Even though I received mixed feedback on what type of magazine genre I was going to construct, I was always going to create an RNB’style magazine because of the effect it has on me and it being my favourite music style/genre. I knew that because of this I would be able to create the magazine to the best of my ability and would find it more enjoyable in doing so.
- 4. • I found my biggest inspiration from the fantastic music magazine Rolling Stone . • I found their style of font, their choice of house-style, the artists on their front cover and their very own layout intriguing. • I thought Rolling Stone represented RNB’ music better than any other magazine which is the main reason I followed them.
