The student used various new media technologies for constructing, researching, planning and evaluating their music video project. An Apple Mac was used for video editing, data storage, and providing high resolution quality. Wordpress was used to record the construction process and analyze conventions of music videos, advertisements, and digipaks. YouTube and Google Images were used for researching existing music videos, advertisements, and digipaks to gain inspiration and analyze concepts and graphics. A PowerPoint presentation outlined the song, artist information, target audience, main concept, and performance ideas. A Canon Legria camcorder was used to shoot footage for the music video.
