2. I think the overall combination of our ancillary tasks are effective
to our chosen Folk Genre.
The Front section of the DigiPack has been incorporated a a cartoonish like photo of the
Performer and surrounding rural scenery. I believe this emphasises the relation to our folk music
Genre Because the front cover illustrates an relaxing, isolated environment. This colour combination
of the high contrast grey and, and vibrant green and yellow create a dynamic appearance for the front
cover of the digipack. This features symbolise to our target audience that the mood of the album is
positive, however the position of the character looking away from the front cover showing no physical
emotions, suggests this album consists of sad songs. The front cover also establishes to our folk target
audience due to the setting, as the location consists of a field. The cover also consists of an abstract type font.
These two features support a folk genre front cover towards are target audience because they describe a friendly
and welcoming album towards are intended target audience. These features have also been displayed in existing
Digipacks, such as ‘Ben Howards’ ‘Every Kingdom.’
4. Same colour contrasts and impact to target audience as
Front cover describes.
Same abstract font to relate to Folk Genre artists
Digi Packs as best as possible.
Close up shot of performers head
compared to front cover keeps the
target audience trying to find out about
the character (emotions).
6. The contrast of the grey wall makes the
yellow font stand out. The abstract font
style relates back to the Folk Music Genre.
Yellow and Grey colours, and cartoonish wall combine together
to relate back to the rural, country atmosphere of a Folk Genre
Compact Disc.
8. This CD case for my groups digipack relates well
to the Folk Music Genre. This is because the bouldness
of the fonts, and text surronded by the white background
Again suggest emptiness. This relates to are music video
About how are performer feels lost, and isolated.
The orange colour gives a nice contrast
to the white background to make the CD
stand out as a whole.
