What your intentions were when you took the photograph
When I took this photo I wanted the model to be in a nice home where it looked comfy and a relaxing
place to be, I also wanted the model to hold the DVDs that she liked up to her face to show how much
she liked them and to also show the audience that are looking clearly what they are. I wanted the
model to look very happy as it is nice to have somebody smiling on a front cover and it will attract the
audience in.
How the final image fulfils your intentions
The image meets my intentions as the model is looking happy and is clearly showing the DVDs that she
has picked and that she likes. In the background we can see that she is sitting on a nice and comfy sofa
and can tell she is getting ready to watch a film.

This image is appropriate for the front cover of a magazine as she makes the magazine look appealing
by looking pleasant and happy and showing the audience her selection of films. The image also relates
to the theme of the magazine being TV and Film as she is holding DvDs and clearly intending to be
watching one of them. The model is also in the target audience as she is a teenager which helps the
target audience relate to her as she fits in with the other people wanting to read this magazine.

The meaning created in this image was to have a pleasant image for the front cover of a magazine that
would attract people into wanting to read it by having a member of the target audience on it and
showing DVDs that she likes showing the theme of the magazine which is TV and Film.

The image and the text works very well on this completed magazine front cover. The
background is mostly dark or have used dark colours which has made the white text stand out
really well on it so the audience can clearly see the cover lines and main cover line on the
cover. None of the cover lines go over the models face as this would be wrong because the
image would not look right as you are covering the models face that is promoting the
magazine. The masthead is a dark red colour that goes well with the background of the wall
that is white and stands out which makes it easier for the audience to see and know what the
magazine is called. The image works well as the model has been positioned central so it was
easy to put the cover lines around her and it was also easy to put the main cover line just
below the DVDs which fit nicely and still stands out very well for the audience.

What your intentions were when you took the photograph
I wanted to take this picture so it would show the element of gaming and to also attract the audience. I
have done this by positioning the model to the left and showing a computer in the background and a
gaming laptop just to the side of it. This shows the element of gaming and the laptop also has a game
open to express this. I wanted the audience to be able to see the gaming theme well and easily so they
would be attracted in and wanting to read the magazine to see what would be inside. The model I
chose is also very into gaming so it fits well with the theme of the magazine that I have created.
How the final image fulfils your intentions
The final image fulfils my intentions because it has worked out like I wanted it to with the models
placed on the left and the computers in the background show that it is a gaming magazine very well.
There is space left on the right and around the model to write the cover lines which is also good.

This image is appropriate for the front cover as it shows the element of gaming with the two computers

inside the magazine which will help them see the magazine and read it.

The meaning I created in this image was a welcoming front cover for a teenage target audience to
attract them into wanting to read it based on knowing that most teenagers like gaming so this magazine
would be good for them as it is simple but gets to the point well. I wanted the image to be simple which
it is showing the model and his computer set up for when he is playing games.

which makes the magazine look appealing to the audience as it has a few different bright colours on it. The
white text goes well with the background and stands out well and the title of the magazine is in a dark red
which stands out at the top. None of the cover lines go over the models face as this would be wrong because the
image would not look right as you are covering the models face that is promoting the magazine. The image works
well as the model has been positioned to the left of the shot so it would be easy to place the cover lines around
the model without covering his face and also put the main cover line just under his face but big and bold so the
audience can see.

What your intentions were when you took the photograph
I wanted to take this picture so it would show the theme of sport and I have done that by
having a model swing a golf club which shows that he is playing golf. This shows the sport
theme very well and the model has been positioned outside to link in with him playing golf. I
wanted the audience to be able to see the sport theme well and easily so they would be
attracted in and wanting to read the magazine to see what would be inside.
How the final image fulfils your intentions
The final image fulfils my intentions because it has worked out like I wanted it to with the
model placed in the centre of the image so the audience can focus on him and the way I have
got the full golf swing in the photo shows him playing golf. The background is also light and
pleasant showing the outdoors where he would usually be playing golf.

This image is appropriate for the front cover as it shows the theme of sport with the model
swinging the golf club which shows that he is ready to play golf. The model also looks very
happy and appealing to the audience so they wont mind reading it as the magazines cover is
very inviting to people walking by. As quite a few teenagers like sport this magazine will be
good for them as it will make them go outside and want to do different things.

When I took this photo I wanted the model to be in a nice home where it looked comfy and

her face whilst I took the photo to show the audience that this is a beauty magazine
straight away so they will know if they want to read it or not instantly. I wanted the model
to look very happy as it is nice to have somebody smiling on a front cover and it will
attract the audience in.

The image meets my intentions as the model is looking happy and is clearly showing the
makeup that she has picked and that she likes. In the background we can see that she is

on which again shows the audience what theme this magazine is based on.
