FEEDBACK ON THE PITCH
What was Said

 After showing our pitch, the audience were
impressed with our presentation and thought
process, however there were many things
pointed out that we need to work on. This
includes scrapping ideas and including other
elements to our film which may help it be the
best it can be. Here are the following things
we will fix and how we will progress with our
  idea.
Props

 In general there was nothing bad to be said
about the plots we have chosen, as they are
all appropriate and show that we have
thought a great deal about what we should
use. We questioned if the use of the flowerpot
was too comical however we agreed it was a
good idea and it would be realistic as well as
create a dramatic death in our film.
The Plot
 We have decided to change many things with this as our audience gave
good feedback which helped us reflect on what we could do to improve
  it.
 Firstly we would change the idea of beginning with a Dolly shot and
instead change it to something more easier and interesting like simply
filming the car drive past which would work well. There are other shots
we will change now and shall only start considering the actual camera
actions we want to use once we have made our storyboard and had a
proper talk of what we think will work best.
 The flashbacks that we were going to continually use throughout have
been let go of. This is due to the fact It would make the film to confusing
and the scene would look much better without so many different
changes. We also had to consider the timing which was pointed out to us
by the audience as the clip could only be two minute’s long, which would
not have fit with our plot.
 We will still keep many aspects though as we were told and believe
ourselves we have some good ideas which could lead to hopefully an
  impressive piece of film.
Actors & Actresses

 Originally we put in the Pitch we would use 6
actors, however once discussing this with the
audience and giving our reasons for why we
would need this amount we decided there
was no need for a friend of the female relative
as there was no proper use for her and the
film would stay just as good so we managed
to narrow it down to 5 with one less actor.
 This works well and keeps us from having to
find two women to play the characters.
Location

 The Location does not need any changes.
 After talking to our audience about this
everyone agreed that this was a good place
to film and that it would suit the idea we had
  for our piece.
 The location we will use is the same house we
used for our preliminary task. This works well
as it has a long drive through and a good use
  of space to film in.
Music

 After discussing what music we would use, the
audience liked our choice and agreed that it
would work well with the mood and dramatic
theme we are trying to go with. We got
inspiration from the Man On A Ledge
soundtrack, as this was like the kind of film we
wanted to make, sharing the same genre so we
  thought this would work well.
 The piece of music we have looked at ‘The
Getaway’ involves a mixture of mystery,
suspense and drama so this suits our film very
well and will be good to set the theme with.
