The Eurotunnel connects Great Britain and France underneath the English Channel. It is the second longest submarine tunnel in the world at 50.5 kilometers, with 39 kilometers running underneath the sea. The 35-minute train journey through the Eurotunnel, also known as the Chunnel, has greatly improved travel times between London and Paris. The tunnel contains three galleries - two for passenger Eurostar trains and one for vehicle transport via the Le Shuttle train service, which runs more than 35 times daily and connects London and Paris in just two hours traveling at 300 km/h.

Britain with France.
 It is considered the second longest submarine tunnel in the world, it has 50.5
kilometers, of which 39 are submarines. Approximately 35 minutes are needed to
cross it.
 The Chunnel, as the Europeans call it, is a truly important international transport
infrastructure that has greatly simplified the times of travel by Train Paris
London.
 The Eurotunnel has 3 galleries used for transport. Two of them for the passenger
(one going and one back) and another for the transportation of vehicles. In
addition it has two other transversal galleries for maintenance and assistance that
allows that there is current of air to decrease the pressure.
 Through the Eurotunnel, Eurostar passenger train services and the services of the
Le Shuttle train for the transport of cars, motorcycles and trucks are transported.
