The Tunnel sous la Manche (Channel
Tunnel) is a railway tunnel, open on 6 May
1994, which crosses the English Channel,
linking France with the United Kingdom
HISTORY

It is an important international transport infrastructure. Their
journey can be done either by car (by the "Shuttle") or train
Eurostar and takes about 35 minutes beween Coquelles (Calais
City) in France and Folkestone in the UK.

 They started digging the tunnel in 1988. They starts at
both ends , in England and in France. It was an
ennormus tunnel , 13.000 persons work it on the tunnel.
