There’s hundreds of rivers and their tributaries cross
the European continent, in this map below it shows
some of these rivers
and it’s what we are
going to learn in this
presentation.

The Volga River is the longest river in Europe.
The Volga River is often called “Mother Volga” by the
Russians because it has played an important part in
the life of the Russian people.
Over 40% of Russia’s people live near it
and it’s tributaries.

Danube River is the second longest river in Europe.
The Danube begins in Black Forest Region of Germany
and Flows across central of Europe.
It forms the border between Romania and Bulgaria.
The Danube is 1771 miles(2850 km) length, and it’s one
of the significant commercial waterways in Europe.
5. Loire River
Loire River is the longest river in France.
It begins in the foothills of the Massif Central ,and
then flows north and west across the heartland of
France to finally end in the Bay of Biscay.
6. Po River.
Po is the longest river in Italy.
It begins in the upper reaches of the Alps.
It flows west to east across northern Italy.
It ends in the Adriatic sea.
