the development of all body and
brain systems an so it necessarily has
an influence on sub sequential
functioning”
(As cited in Narvaez & Lappsley, 2014,
p. 227)
• Early experience pertains to perinatal

cannot give what we do not have, so
before teaching others, we have to
teach ourselves first. Leading by

teaching others.

Since morality refers to things that are right,
immorality has to do with things that are
wrong — like stealing, lying, and
murdering.
• Immoral describes a person behavior that
conscientiously goes against accepted morals—
that is, the proper ideas and beliefs about how to
behave in a way that is considered right and good
by the majority of people. Immoral connotes the
intent of evilness or wrongdoing, and it is a true
antonym of moral.
•
• Not only do actions reflect the goodness or
badness of one's character, one's actions
also change one's character. The more
one does an immoral action or
recommends an immoral action for others,
the more it becomes part of one's
character to be the type of person who
condones that immoral action.

cannot be taught because the love of wisdom
cannot be imparted the same way that facts
about the world are imparted. But the love of
moral wisdom can be encouraged in everyone
and nurtured in those who actively seek to
understand morality and its place in human
life”
