Science Fair Project Report
This year, for my Science Fair Project I plan to do a study on how varying system parameters
affect the dynamics of a multi tank liquid level hydraulic system. The purpose of this type of
system is to maintain a constant fluid flow. In order to maintain this fluid flow the tanks have to
preserve a certain liquid level, this necessary level depends on the other variables. My system
will consist of: an inflow valve, the tanks, valves to go between the tanks, and an outflow valve. I
want to do this experiment because about two years ago, when I was in the seventh grade, I did a
science fair experiment where I tested how changing the variables in a mass spring damper system
affected system response. In that experiment, I changed the amount of mass,

Black Bird Feeding Requirement Essay
Feeding Requirements
What you will feed the blackbird may be dependent on the blackbird s state but also the weather, as
what blackbirds eat are season dependent, for example: Spring and early summer they eat much
more insects and larvae than they do for the majority of summer and winter and autumn.
In the late summer through to autumn they eat an increase in earthworms, even though they eat
these throughout the year.
Blackbirds are able to eat: insects, worms, caterpillars, snails, spiders, berries, fruit and seeds.
The blackbird s appetite shouldn t really be affected because of a broken wing, however, their
appetite will have probably decreased due to the antibiotics given to them if they have been
given any antibiotic if there was blood present or if they are just generally feeling lousy, so make
sure that portion sizes are not over facing them. The blackbird may be in a state of shock so small
amounts of food is advisable as big portion sizes may make them feel sick. Feed the animal around

The bird won t be its usual self so leave at least five hours in between every meal because appetite
decreases when birds are out of sorts.
Imprinting will be prevented by making sure that the bird has to search for its scattered food at all
time and monitoring it to make sure its behaviour doesn t become the same or extremely similar to
another bird in there, otherwise that bird will become attached to the bird and won t wont to leave
it when it goes back into the wild, so it is essential to monitor the birds to prevent imprinting and
make sure its behaviour is unique.

Saturation And Synthesis Essay
Discussion When the degree of saturation О© is equal to one, the system is at equilibrium. When
О© is greater than one, precipitation should occur because the solution is saturated in ions with
respect to the solid mineral form. The data show that gypsum should have started precipitating
between sample 1 and sample 2 collection time, because this is when the degree of saturation
moves to beyond 1. The peak saturation for gypsum occurs between sample 3 and sample 4, and
decreases afterwards. This decrease is most likely caused by the decrease in available ions after
gypsum continued to precipitate through the experiment, leaving fewer calcium and sulfate ions to
contribute to the degree of saturation. As evaporation continues, halite approaches... Show more

Degree of saturation calculations showed that gypsum precipitated sometime before sample 2 was
taken and peaked around the time sample 4 was taken. Although calculated degrees of saturation
for halite did not exceed 1, the sudden decrease in sodium and chloride ions in solutions indicate
that precipitation most likely occurred, and then exhausted the ions to the point where the solution
was no longer saturated. Because the precipitate was not analyzed, whether or not halite did
precipitate out is not known. The order of precipitation recorded in the experiment agrees with

Using a subset of data from the Autism Spectrum Australia study done in 2013, this report examines
the employment activities and outcomes of 130 adults diagnosed with Asperger s Disorder and
High Functioning Autism. The study looked at several outcome areas including their current
occupation, skill level, type of job contract, work hours, job support to find work, job support at
work, and their positive and negative experiences of employment. Based on this examination, the
authors found that adults with AD and HFA continued to struggle with workplace difficulties and a
lack of understanding and support, even if they showed a capacity and willingness to work.

Macroeconomics And Macroeconomics Of Macroeconomics
Macroeconomics (from the Greek prefix makro meaning large and economics) is a branch of
economics dealing with the performance, structure, behavior, and decision making of an economy
as a whole, rather than individual markets. This includes national, regional, and global
economies.[1][2] With microeconomics, macroeconomicsis one of the two most general fields
ineconomics.
Macroeconomists study aggregated indicators such as GDP, unemployment rates, National income,
price indices, and the interrelations among the different sectors of the economy, to better
understand how the whole economy functions. Macroeconomists develop models that explain the
relationship between such factors as national income, output, consumption, unemployment, inflation
,savings, investment, international trade and international finance. In contrast, microeconomics is
primarily focused on the actions of individual agents, such as firms and consumers, and how their
behavior determines prices and quantities in specific markets
While macroeconomics is a broad field of study, there are two areas of research that are emblematic
of the discipline: the attempt to understand the causes and consequences of short run fluctuations in
national income (the business cycle), and the attempt tounderstand the determinants of long run
economic growth (increases in national income). Macroeconomic models and their forecasts are
used by governments to assist in the development and evaluation of economic policy.

Human Resource Policies And Human Resources
Human resources policies are at the heart of every business but when companies deviate from
those policies or create a culture of their own polices that can be a recipe for disaster. Having
strong human resource policies can distinguish companies from the rest and set them out to be the
best but in the case of the following companies human resource policieswe either neglected or
altered and it cost the company more in the end. The nature of business is to make money and the
policies set forth by human resourcesare the ethical guidelines that enable companies to
accomplish that with respect to the financial world that they are involved. I will look into the
policies and see whether they were a sound from the beginning or whether the policies were
doomed from the start. I will see whether the policies had any ethical merits and how this was
overlooked it there was a good foundation. I will look into some problems with human resource
policies then I will go over companies polices that caused a near bankruptcy and a company policy
that caused a complete failure.
The Risky Business of Human Resource Policies The foundation of any business starts with its
policies and if that foundation is not build with strong ethical policies then the business will likely
fail. The human resource department of a company has to maintain polices on how employees
should conduct themselves and some policies encourage growth and strength within the company

Characteristics Of Exotic Pets
Exotic pets
Exotic pets are a certain type of unique pets which are of wild species that are kept in households
as pets. They consist of amphibians, reptiles and rodents. These are usually indigenous to the locale
in which they are brought up.
Therefore their character traits are not similar to those of other domesticated animals. Examples of
exotic animals include bears, alligators, deer, crocodiles, chameleons, garter snakes, octopuses,
kangaroos, zebras, skunks and savannah monitors. In many countries all over the world, human
beings live together with these animals and these people end up having personal relationships with

1: Literature Review
1.1 Introduction to e Business
New approaches to business sought through use of the Internet and its continuous updated
technologies are dynamically being deployed by organisations to appropriate innovative value
creation online (Chaffey, 2009). Information technology has been noted for its value creation,
defined as drivers of product differentiation (Amit and Zott, 2001) in business, as it supports
alternative marketing strategies. More specifically, the current state of the Internet as a
communication platform, with its powerful and far reaching influence and lack of constraints to
time nor place (Deighton, 1997), has had a profound affect on both culture and business practice

Originally, they were used by members of the public as representations of online journals in which
people discussed (with other internet users) subjects of personal interest (Gunter et al., 2009).
Today, they have become fixtures in today s mass communicatve environment (Lewis, 2011) and
have been regarded as reshaping both people s lifestyles and business practices (Tremayne, 2007),
with the number of personal and organisational blogs seeing a dramatic increase in the past ten
years (Sifry, 2004). Generally, these blogs are maintained by individuals and corporations with the
purpose of sharing regular entries of commentary and descriptions of events and often include diary
material such as photos and videos (Shen and Chiou, 2009). The comment features and
characteristically interactive discourse of the blog medium enables people to have their own say on
the web surrounding a subject of their interest. These features of interactivity and the participatory
nature of blogs combine correlate into common virtual communities where people cooperate and
share opinions as they do in the real world (Thelwall, 2007).

Business Strategies For Successful Marketing Strategies Essay
: For week nine we discussed chapter eight, the Developing Business Strategies PowerPoint, and
got back our exams for review. Chapter eight revolves around developing marketing strategies.
Some of the basic strategies for successful marketing revolve around:
Moving quickly to satisfy customer needs.
Using pricing to differentiate the product/service.
Paying attention to packaging.
Building customer loyalty.
Offering sample and demonstrations.
Educating customers.
Of course, there are more strategies that can be utilized by a business, but those are a few rock
solid ideas that will ensure one s marketing plan has a strong basic foundation. When I look at my
business s approach to marketing, I see that there are some minor issues or oversights that could
use further analysis and reconsideration. Namely, our online social media presence is decent, but
could be much better. There s also the fact that our packing consists of nothing more than a label
around each skein and a little letter in each shipment. The boxes have no design or branding, and
that s something I could really benefit from having. Although getting custom printed boxes would
increase our packaging costs, perhaps a nice middle ground would be to use an ink stamp to put
my logo on the box, or maybe even a sticker.
One of the more powerful marketing tools (mentioned in my business interview paper) if our
affiliate marketing system. We use a program called Refersion that allows people to sign up as

A Brief Explanation Of The Prisoner s Dilemma
Purpose: Introduction/background of problem
The purpose of this discussion is to give a brief explanation of the Prisoner s Dilemma
game, the notion of dominant strategy, and the concept of Nash equilibrium and cooperation.
The Prisoner`s Dilemma game helps us understand what governs the balance between
cooperation and competition in business, in politics, and in social settings (Dixit Nalebuff,
2008). An example, of a traditional method of this game is how a school principal resolve
student conflicts by talking to both parties involved to determine the circumstance of the event
that occurred. The strategy in this method is to try and determine the truth by listening to two
conflicting stories of events. The Prisoner`s Dilemma in economics can be applied when we look
at competing business and how they market their products to receive the best possible revenue.
An example of this is the automobile industry and how to compete with one another for customer
sale through competitive pricing and incentives. The notion of dominant strategy is the notion
that one strategy is better than the other and this notion could typically give one side an
advantage over another. This is great information to have but it all depends on how this
information is implemented in a company s business practices. The concept of Nash equilibrium
and cooperation is a concept that was developed by a mathematics graduate named, John Forbes
Nash. The idea of the Nash

How Did Edgar Allan Poe Contribute To Society
Edgar Allan Poe is a very popular suspense, horror, and mystery writer of the eighteenth century. He
is an important American literature writer because of his use of literary devices and different
literary techniques. Edgar Allan Poe has made an impact on not only American literature but also
the whole society. He also contributed to literature by developing short stories.
Edgar Allan Poe was born on January 19, 1809 in Boston, Massachusetts. At a young age, his
parents died and his adopted father, John Allan, raised him. Allan was very wealthy, which
resulted in Poe going to some of the best schools available. Poe attended private schools, as well as
the University of Virginia. Poe later spent two years in the military.
Following, Edgar Allan Poe went to New York City where he had some of his work published.
Although he submitted his stories to a number of magazine companies, all of them were
rejected. In 1835, Poe got a job as an editor of a newspaper because of a contest he had won. Poe
wrote his first book in the summer of 1827. Poe then began to enter contests to make money and

Radio Stations Of New Zealand
There are more radio stations in New Zealand per head of population than any other country in the
world. This means individual stations need to jostle for their unique positioning in the market. One
way to evaluate the similarities and differences between radio stations is to conduct a Content
analysis. Radio stationsdefine their market positionings through differences in structure, talk focus,
announcing style, music, advertisements, self promotion, competitions, types of callers and news
information. We can see this by contrasting Mediaworks hip hop stationMai FMto New Zealand
Media and Entertainment s (NZME) boomers station Coast.
First developed by Harold Lasswell in 1927, Content analysis was initially a way of studying
propaganda in the mass media (Macnamara, 2011). The methodology has evolved over the years,
but the most basic way to describe content analysis is that it summarises any form of content by
counting various aspects of the content (Franzosi, 2008). According to Berelson (as cited in
Macnamara, 2011) some purposes of content analysis include to discover certain trends in
communication texts, to compare media and how they communicate and to predict the effects of
content on audiences. The reason I am using content analysis as oppose to more systematic and
objective approaches is that it allows me to develop precise explanations concerning trends in media
content whereas impressionistic approaches are better for describing the content, as there is no

Conformity In The Giver
The survival of civilization and society has primarily revolved around one key aspect,
conformity. Conformity among a society s people ensures that certain rules are being followed,
and are intended to establish order and equality among the general public. However, too much
conformity is not beneficial to the individual nor does it help the group in the long run. In Lois
Lowry s dystopian novel The Giver, people live in a seemingly utopian society where everyone

If I wanted a picture I d buy a painting.
The second part is where the fun part actually starts, you re going to add one or two heaping
spoonfuls of regular white frosting to the crumbled up cake you have.
Keep adding frosting until you get the consistency pretty doughy, but still firm enough to handle.
After kneeding the dough thoroughly you re going to want to roll the dough out inch size balls.
A normal box of cake mix should make about 20 cake pops.
After all the balls are rolled out, they should go in the fridge or freezer for about a half an hour to
help them set. After those agonizing thirty minutes are up, you re able to take the cake pops out of
the refrigerator or freezer, and then melt some almond bark.
After dipping the stick in the almond bark, you re going to want to stick it about halfway through
the now official cake pop .
The chocolate on the stick is to help the stick stay sturdy while you actually eat the sweet treat.
When you ve finished putting the sticks into each of the cake balls, you should put them back into
the refrigerator in order to help the chocolate solidify.
Transition:
The last part we re going to focus on is probably the most simple. Decorating the cake pop.
Using the previously melted almond bark, you can simply dip the cake pop in and spread a thin
layer of chocolate all around the pop.
While the chocolate is still wet, feel free to decorate in any way you d like. For today I just used

The Federalist Paper, By Alexander Hamilton, James...
The Federalist Papers are a series of eighty five essays written by Alexander Hamilton, James
Madison, and John Jay, which argued the reasons why the Articles of Confederation should be
strengthened. These articles support the new constitution as well as seek ratification from the
states. On November 7, 1787 John Jaypublished The Fourth Federalist Paper. In The Fourth
Federalist Paper John Jay explains that the U.S should be unified under a central government rather
than function as multiple independent bodies. The U.S would be better able to obviate from
foreign aggressors, trade with other countries, and the country would be better organized. The

It reiterated that we would be stronger as a whole and with all of the manpower that we have, it
would be really effective against foreign countries that want to fight with the U.S. Weapons could
be manufactured in Ohio but now they could be shipped to New York if they needed weapons and
in that sense we would be more united.
In hindsight, the U.S made the right move in choosing to accept this Federalist Paper. We have
the most advanced military in the world, thanks to new technology and phenomenal programs.
This consists of programs ranging from ROTC (Reserve Officer Training Corps) to the Navy

the Navy Seals carry out special missions. One that many are aware of is the assasination of
Osama Bin Laden. I pointed this out because it shows real life examples of the ideas stated
within the Fourth Federalist Paper being exercised. In my opinion, the ROTC program represents
people coming from all over the country to fight for a single cause. If it were not for John Jay and
his willingness to argue the fact that we need to be unified, then there is always the possibility that
certain aspects of the U.S Military would not exist.

Q Explain ways to achieve maximum attendance at meetings. (1.3)
A One way of achieving maximum attendance at a meeting is by sending out an invitation email
which gives the recipient the chance to accept, decline or hold the invitation to the meeting. This
way, it automatically updates their calendar if they accept the invitation and allows you to know
who is attending. Another way to achieve maximum attendance is arranging a time and location
that accommodates everyone that you want to be at the meeting. Choosing a time and place when
someone is busy will ultimately mean that one person already can t make it.

He saw how advanced Germany was so he wanted the US not to enter WW2 but then people in
the US tried to accuse him of being Communist. After the US was bombed he then returned to
the US and tried to join the Air force but they wouldn t allow him. So henry ford called him and
fond away for him to be able to fly planes and fight as a civilian with out people knowing. After
the war he mainly just taught people how to fly and tried to advance aviation. As an older man
he went away from flying and he became and environmentalist and a wildlife preservationist. He
died while with his wife at his home and is now berried in Hawaii. Mr. Lindbergh was a hero, as
I believe. A hero can mean many different things. Many people can look at someone and say that
man is a villain or the man is a hero because they don t have the whole story and they just jump
on the bandwagon. Lindberg was a hero for aviation. He may of not been a US hero but that was
not the most important thing to him. His goal was always to advance aviation and to make it
more popular. So by that mean he was truly a hero for Aviation. He helped put aviation on the map
and he always tried to push the limits. Many believed he was a villain because he fled the US and
lived in a foreign country. Several reasons people believed he was a villain were because he toured
Nazi air craft, and saw their facilities. He was also awarded a medal from the Nazis for his
advancements and help in aviation.

What Is John Bowlby Attachment Theory
Attachment theory. In 1958, John Bowlby proposed the idea of attachment theory (McLeod, 2009).
This theory identifies the infant s need to seek closeness and proximity with the caregiver when he
/she feels scared or threatened. The caregiver provides safety and security. The caregiver and infant
s relationship form four possible attachment styles: secure, avoidant, ambivalent/anxious, and
disorganized (McLeod, 2009). Secure attachment occurs when the caregiver meets the child s needs.
The child feels safe and secure. In contrast, avoidant attachment occurs when the caregiver is
emotionally avoidant, insensitive, and unaware of the child s needs. In this case, the child learns to
care for himself/herself. Avoidant attachment children become independent

Essay On Aviation Industry
INTRODUCTION
Aviation Industry plays an important role in the economic growth of anation. It not only promotes
international trade but also provides an effective and fastest means of transportation across the

The history of Indian Aviation industry lies back in the year 1912.The first domestic flight was
taken between Delhi and Karachi by the Indian State Air Services. Tata Airlines started with an air

My Field Of Interest On Health Care
Introduction: Description of Context
I chose to do my field of interest on health care and I will be doing it on a global level. I feel like
health care all over the world is not equal for everyone. I am going to focus on 3 different
countries and also focus on how men and women get different health care options within their
country. The countries I will be comparing will be Canada, Czech Republic and South Africa.
These countries are very different when it comes to health care systems and there is a lot of
unfairness on how people are allowed to receive health care.
The first county I am going to look at is Canada. The health care in Canada is very fair when it
comes to the treatment of making sure that everyone has health care. In ... Show more content on

The province typically provides funding for most additional services. These can include visits to the
hospital, prescription medication, routine visits to your doctor and dental coverage. If we look at
the private health insurance, this type of insurance is provided because not all of the services are
covered under the provincial health insurance. Some things that the provincial health care does
not cover are dental services, optometrists, and prescription medications. Private health insurance
plans are usually offered as part of employee benefit packages in many companies. Incentives
usually include vision and dental care. Alternatively, Canadians can purchase insurance
packages from private insurance providers. Accessing Canada s health care has its benefits and
downfalls. The benefits of accessing the health care system in Canada are; being able to receive
health care for free if you need it. If you have a major injury and cannot afford it, it will be
covered under a reasonable amount. The downfalls of the health care system in Canada are; the
demand for doctors is so large because the population is growing but not enough people wanting
to become doctors. The current ratio for doctors to Canadians is about 1 doctor to approximately
1000 Canadians. This is an extreme amount of people for one person to deal with. This also causes
an issue for waiting time when

Essay On Raisin Raising
After a month without any sign of his ghost collaborator, he has a complete break down. His agent
who has had growing concerns of his sanity arrives at the house just as he is running about
hestrically shouting and turning over the furniture frantically in what seems a final desperate effort
to reunite with the phantom. This is enough reason to allow the physician and his two burly
assistants brought along by he agent to forcibly subdue him bodily and bring him to the waiting
ambulance to be restrained and driven to the hospital. But just as one of the assistants reaches for
the door handle, it is enough for him to break free and race back into the house. His destination
is the cellar, where as in a dream the night before he hangs himself. Feeling defeated, and
knowing what he must do, he heads for the cellar but he pauses suddenly at the piano and his eyes

The Most Traditional Side of Firearm Usage in America
For generations and generations guns have been the icon of america. Guns can protect you from
criminals and dangerous situations. They surround us everyday, whether it be law enforcement
personnel, in movies, or advertisements. Guns can not only be used to protect the individual but
also the population from a tyrannical government, which is exactly why the founding fathers were
so intent on making guns the forefront of what america is all about. The down side to having guns
so relevant in society is the fact that often it can fall into the wrong hands.
The vast majority of american households have at least one fire arm in the house. This is mostly
because there is more of a comfort that people feel when they believe they could fend of a possible
intruder or attacker. Those that do not have firearms trust that the police will take care of whatever
situation might present itself. The average response time for the police is on average roughly
10 15 minutes. The average response time for a .357 magnum is 1300 feet per second. So using
a .357 to shoot a target standing 1ft away is 900 times faster than waiting 15 minutes for a police
officer. Many people have perished waiting for police while their home has been burglarized. With
some sort of firearm in the house that burglar could have easily been eliminated. if those
individuals would have had a firearm in their possession chances are they would still be living.
Criminals do not follow laws, guns legal or not, guns will

Use Of Electronic Medical Records From Emergency...
Background
Most emergency care is delivered in Emergency Departments (ED), there were over 129 million
ED visits in the United States in 2010, and some of the most common reasons patients visit the
ED is for abdominal pain, chest pain, fever, headache and back pain (Mutter Clancy, 2014).
Doctors and the other healthcare providers in the ED use electronic medical records (EMRs),
rapid blood/urine testing, and diagnostic procedures such as; X ray, CT scan, MRI to decide if a
patient requires inpatient or outpatient care (Free et al., 2013). They also use other tools such as;
telemetry, bedside sonography, point of care tests, and clinical decision aids for quick decision
(Free et al., 2013). The ED physician s new mHealth technologies may allow more patients to
receive the care at home that was once only accessible in hospital (Manojlovich et al., 2015), and
on that way they don t need to go to ED for minor illness. mHealth is transforming the way people
with chronic illness are retrieving and evaluating information and communicating with their
primary physician or other health professionals (Free et al., 2013). Mobile technology can be
utilized to remind patients to take their medication at proper times, and it can assist patients record
their health symptoms and send them to his/her primary physicians and specialists electronically as
needed (Manojlovich et al., 2015). Instead of waiting for patients to understand that they have any
abnormalities and visit their doctor,

Through collage, sculpture and photography sometimes all together she makes real the fantasy and
perhaps nightmare of Black womanhood, history, sexuality and love. Themes are not just
presented but turned on their head. In the object sculpture Country Preacher , Pilar Brown puts a
tiny black church with a gold cross in the mouth of a bird skull. One thinks of death and sin in the
church and how much our present and past lives inform that unknown future. Then in Cut You a
female figure is adorned for survival and battle as a black woman with horns, a knife, and high
heels. She poised to attach those that may try to challenge her strength. She s sitting on ready. The
things that may have been lost, Pilar Brown constructs among the sculptures for the viewer to find.
Her pieces tell a historical fiction not unlike a Toni Morrison novel. That may Black women will

of their contemporary aesthetics to read the narrative of objects, understanding that the littlest things

Description Of Jack Kerouac s The Road
Description of Jack Kerouac Jean Louis Lebris de Kerouac was born on March 12, 1922 in
Lowell, Massachusetts to immigrant French Canadian parents Leo and Gabrielle Kerouac.
Known to his family as Ti Jean , or Little Jack, he was the youngest of three children. Jack had an
older sister, Caroline, and an older brother Gerard, who died of rheumatic fever when Jack was
four years old. As an adult, Jack was part of what he called the Beat Generation, which referred to
an underground revolution that was quietly happening outside of mainstream politics (Johnson,

Jack Kerouac routinely went on what he described as binges that lasted for multiple days
(Brinkley, 2004). After a particular binge, occurring after a night of drinking beer, whiskey, and
vermouth, he woke up badly beaten and was unable to remember what had happened (Johnson,
2012). According to his own explanation, Jack used alcohol to provide him with the excitement
he needed to combat the boredom that he experienced (Johnson, 2012). The effect of Jack s
alcohol dependence directly resulted in his death, which occurred due to cirrhosis of the liver
caused by alcoholism (Charters, 1973). Hypersexual behaviour is described as an intense sexual
drive that leads to poorly controlled, excessive, and impulsive sexual activity despite negative
consequences, such as the risk of emotional and physical harm (Kor, A., Fogel, Y., Reid, R. C.,
Potenza, M. N., 2013). Although the DSM IV does not explicitly include criteria for hypersexual
behaviour or sexual addiction, the diagnosis of a Sexual Disorder Not Otherwise Specified can
be used to account for patterns of hypersexual behaviour (Kor, A., Fogel, Y., Reid, R. C., Potenza,
M. N., 2013). Jack s first sexual experience involved a New York City prostitute, which formed the
foundation for a lifetime of impulsive

affects the Earth s atmosphere and most of all the people in it. With its energy use over 30

necessary plan is to reduce these issues and make Enterprise Holdings exceptional with its

Lady Bracknell s Epigrams
Wilde uses Lady Bracknell s controlling and ruthless character to convey women s powerful role
as the moral guardians in Victorian society. From the moment she enters Algernon s flat and offers
her opinion on all matters from whether one should live...or die to which side of Belgrave Square
is unfashionable , it is evident that Lady Bracknell holds the higher judgment. Her domineering
authority is reinforced during Jack s attempt to propose to Gwendolen, as Lady Bracknell bluntly
orders him to rise from his semi recumbent posture . Despite the fact that women were considered
the weaker genderin the Victorian era, Jack is clearly and deliberately placed in the inferior
position of power so as to highlight women s influential role of picking their daughter s husband.

Algernon s remark that divorces are made in Heaven is a twisted version of the well known saying
that marriages are made in Heaven , thus attacking the convention of marriage. Algernon constantly
weaves epigrams like this into his conversations due to their artful structure that satisfies his
aesthetic lifestyle. Additionally, Wilde uses characters who appear to dutifully conform to the
Victorian views to portray the hypocrisy of the era s conventions through their unintentional use of
epigrams. This is shown when Gwendolen states that style, not sincerity is the vital thing , which
completely contradicts the Victorian era s focus on earnestness. Furthermore, the lack of truth and
sense in epigrams conveys Wilde s core view that Victorian society was constructed on trivial social
mores designed exclusively for appearance. Through his skilful manipulation of truisms, he
successfully ridicules the social mores of the Victorian era while providing an insight to the

Victorian age is the era of prosperity in the industrial revolution in Britain and then Europe and

The Effectiveness Of Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy
This essay is about the effectiveness of Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) in the
treatment of depression. The purpose of this essay is to address the question, how mindfulness
works to improve mental health when used as part of psychological treatment? Firstly, a brief
overview is given about what depression is and what the symptoms are, based on the Diagnostic
and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, fifth edition (DSM 5). Secondly, It will discuss
mindfulness, as it is defined in mental health treatments. The main body of this essay will cover a
description of what MBTC is, where it comes from, how it works, and how this treatment is
activated in mindfulness based therapies. The final section will review three studies that have used
MBCT in the treatment of depression.
Depression is a normal emotional reaction to perceived loss and hopelessness (Segal, Williams,
Teasdale, 2002). There are a number of different types of depression such as chronic depression,
manic depression and the primary focus of this essay Major Depressive Disorder (MDD). MDD is
a clinical depression, which is more chronic and more severe compared to other types of
depression. It significantly disrupts the individual s ability to meet the normal demands of life.
According to many clinicians, clinical depression should be considered as a medical illness in need
of medical intervention. Other mental health professionals believe this is an overstatement of the

Ecclesiastes Death Equalizer
Death being the great equalizer has been a popular phrase for a very long time. In Ecclesiastes,
It is explained what death being the great equalizer means. Ecclesiastes 9 1 2 (NLT) reads This,
too, I carefully explored: Even though the actions of godly and wise people are in God s hands,
no one knows whether God will show them favor. The same destiny ultimately awaits everyone,
whether righteous or wicked, good or bad, ceremonially clean or unclean, religious or irreligious.
Good people receive the same treatment as sinners, and people who make promises to God are
treated like people who don t. What these verses are saying is no matter who you are or what you
do, deathis something we all share and it s something we re all going to meet eventually. So there s
a question to be asked, why be righteous and follow God... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Continuing with Ecclesiastes 9, it goes on to say one should enjoy their lives and live then to
the fullest because the lives we live in the living world is meaningless. Ecclesiates 9 7 8 (NIV)

play a part in anything here on earth. 7 So go ahead. Eat your food with joy, and drink your wine
with a happy heart, for God approves of this! 8 Wear fine clothes, with a splash of cologne!?
Although many times in Ecclesiastes it says what we do in life is meaningless, it still
encourages people to be wise and the characteristics of the wise person and the fool are still the
same as they are in Proverbs and other wisdom literature in the Bible. What s different about
Ecclesiastes is it tells you not to be over wise and destroy yourself and it also says the same thing
about wickedness. It tells you to basically stay as neutral as you can and avoid extremes because
falling more into one side than the other will cause your own destruction. It says this in Ecclesiastes

approach may differ from others and that this is okay. I learned that in this journey it is very
important to know what theoretical orientation you are using to think about change.

With the events that occurred in Juliette s life you would not of expected her to do something that
is considered incredible. Born to an affluent Southern family who called their adored but
occasionally off beat second daughter Crazy Daisy was an unlikely founding figure for the
Scouts. She never had children of her own. Her marriage to a wealthy Englishman failed in an
era when divorce was still a serious stigma. Also, she suffered for most of her adult life from a
hearing disability first brought on by a medical mistake (Kehe). Low has had a bunch of horrible
events in her life that should of discouraged her from doing anything but, instead she decided to go
and do something more with her life and create girl scouts. She is encouraging girls that you don t
have to let the misfortunes in life be a prevention from doing something great and to not let them
be a shackle from desired dreams. Girls now have proof that they can truly do what they choose.
Crazy Daisy has given girls the grant of confidence and girls now know not to let anything hold

Forbidden City Essay
Everyone has thought of rebellion at some point. Whether it s for something like not wanting to
clean their room, wanting to drive, wanting to vote, it is still standing up for something they
believe in. With some people, it may be a minor thing, but for some other people, they are
rebelling for their life. In the book Forbidden City by William Bell, the main character Alex moves
from Canada to China for his father s job. While he is there, he sees the university students in
China stand up for their rights publicly and pay for it with their life. What conditions justify a
citizen s right to rebel? Unjust laws, oppression, violence against citizens are fine examples of
these. One condition that gives citizens the desire and right to rebel is oppression. Ruling your

Summary Of The Metamorphosis By Kafka
In Franz Kafka s The Metamorphosis , the transformation of the character Gregor from a man to
one of the most repellent insects, a cockroach, may seem exaggerated and ridiculous, becoming
more so over the course of the story as the action builds and emotions become more charged. Kafka
s intention, however, is to expose and explore the impoverishment of human psychologywith
respect to the ways in which changes in one s circumstances and conditions reshape notions of
justice and mercy. These themes will be explored further in this character analysis of Gregor in The
Metamorphosis.
While it is the subject of this character analysis, Gregor who has been mysteriously and
inexplicably reduced to one of the lowest forms of animal life in this story by Kafka representing
the absurd, it isGregor s family in The Metamorphosis whose psychological development is least
human and humane. Gregor has changed physical form, but Kafka clearly indicates that his
essential being has not changed in any fundamental way. Gregor still has human feelings and
needs, he still wishes to relate with his family and other members of society, and he still wishes to
be responsible. As this character analysis of Gregor in The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka
suggests, his mother, father, and his sister have not changed form, but their metamorphoses are the
most profound because they demonstrate how easily one s beliefs, values, and basic treatment of
others can be compromised because of a failure to adapt psychologically.
From the opening of The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka, the character of Gregor is portrayed
as a whole and complex human being. Like many people, he detests his job, but he recognizes
that his work is necessary because it supports his family. He applies himself with great
earnestness (Kafka 35) to his grinding work as a traveling salesman, not only because he wants
to support his parents and pay off a debt that they incurred, but because he dreams of sending his
sister, Grete, to a conservatory where she can learn to play violin professionally (Kafka 37). At
this early point in Kafka s Metamorphosis in fact, a character analysis of Gregor would yield rather
little in terms of character depth. However, this devotion

Theme Of Magical Realism In One Hundred Years Of Solitude
This research paper highlights Gabriel Jose de la Concordia Garcia Marquez s employment of
magical realism in association to his portrayal of anti colonial sentiments in his novel One Hundred
Years of Solitude. It is the reaction and challenge against the political condition of Latin America
more particularly Columbia in the backdrop of the postcolonial paradigm. The novel depicts the
undulated life of seven generations of Buendia family in the fictitious town, Macondo. Initially
Macondo is pious land but when it comes in to contact with external world, the decline of Macondo
begins. The technologies and inventions of the outer world appear in the form of magic which
seems to be development but actually were destroying elements similar to the... Show more content

When the entity of the real is upset within the realm of narrative, it becomes questionable outside
the boundaries of fiction as well. Garcia Marquez has chronicled the history of violence in Latin
America much expressively throughout his literary career with a subtle use of the technique of
magical realism. His epic novel One Hundred Years of Solitude presents synthesis of historical
events in symbolic episodes of exploitation of the natives at the hands of the American banana
planters and the capitalist exploitation has been uncovered by the author in such episodes. The
reader finds most of his fiction set in an imaginary town of Macondo that stands allegorical for the
Colombian history in specific and Latin American in general. The way MГЎrquez used Macondo
as a place where most of his fiction originates attaches extraordinary importance to this place and
urges the reader to explore this in detail. Being postcolonial in nature, One Hundred Years of
Solitude is an epithet of a shortened version of history. The non linear time format of the novel
stands allegorical for the lengthy process of colonization and how it affected public and private
lives of people. The way colonizers established a distorted

Engagement In Criminal Behavior Essay
Engagement in Criminal Behavior
Social control theory explains engagement in criminal behavior by the five informal social controls
which are, social and organizational ties, neighborhood attachment, happy with the police work in
the neighborhood and legal cynicism, if these norms are not followed then this is where deviant
and criminal behavior comes into play. If the area is not involved in any type of groups for
instance, religious groups, neighborhood watch program, crime prevention program etc, many
different programs they have available keep citizens, especially youths out of trouble because
neighbors are constantly keeping an eye out, and spreading wisdom to the children as well.

The way the community can prevent this behavior is by looking out for the neighbor to make sure
there is no unknown stranger walking around, having a neighborhood watch program so no
property is being destroyed. Neighbors can keep an eye out for one another s children, to make
sure they are not involved in any deviant behavior.
Thus, we conceptualize informal social control as the willingness of neighborhood residents to
actively engage in behaviors aimed at preventing criminal and deviant behavior in the local area,
with a particular emphasis on the deviant behavior of youth, (Silver and Miller, 2004, p.553).
Another key factor is social cohesion; this is the blocks capacity to be able to take away from
crime and deviance to a minimum. Neighbors are able to exercise informal social control over
youths due to social and organizational ties, neighborhood attachment, happy with the police work
in the neighborhood, and legal

Celebrity Stereotypes
I have read through five articles of celebrity gossip on blogger, Perez Hilton s website. Some of
the articles were older and I also read the up to date gossip. In my opinion, the function of
celebrity gossip in today s society is to help the fame of any celebrity. The purpose of the negative
or positive information is only going to help or hurt the celebrityand in some cases, such as Janet
Jackson s breast being reviled at the Super Bowl, helped her more than it hurt her. As for blogs
about celebrities helping maintain stability and order in our society, I believe that it serves no
purpose and also create false perceptions of the real world. Today s youth can easily be influenced
by the celebrity gossip. The media and blogs create a distortion

Examining The Functional Connectivity Of A Whole Brain Atlas
Background: The brain is often considered the most complex organ in the human body. It is also the
most difficult to understand, given the vast array of different functions spread throughout its mass
and the interconnected functionality of its regions that makes subdividing it based on form or
function a difficult task. Craddock, et al. (2012), in the article examined, attempt to produce a
method for further examining the functional connectivity (FC) of the regions of the brainand
subdivide them based on spatial positioning and function. Understanding FC in the brain can
significantly improve understanding of many brain functions and the effect of outside stimulus
of various parts of the brain. This examination will only be able to take place by creating an
accurate whole brain atlas. This creation of a whole brain atlas, or a map of the brain separating
it into regions of interest (ROI) based positioning and/or function, has typically been done via
fMRI analysis of the brain combined with an anatomically based mapping procedure. This study
seeks to use fMRI technology combined with an algorithm to create voxel clusters or ROI s that
optimize both spatial coherence and homogeneity in regards to the FC of the individual ROIs that
can closely match of the results of a voxel wise analysis, while improving on computation power
required and interpretability.
Clinical Significance: The usefulness of this technology and methodology can be found in both

A Comparison of Biographic Features in The Sun Also Rises...
A Comparison of Biographic Features in The Sun Also Rises and The Great Gatsby The writers F.
Scott Fitzgerald and Ernest Hemingway included biographical information in their novels The
Great Gatsby and The Sun Also Rises that illuminated the meaning of the work. Although The Sun
Also Rises is more closely related to actual events in Hemingway s life than The Great Gatsbywas
to events in Fitzgerald s life, they both take the same approach. They both make use of non
judgemental narrators to comment on the lost generation . This narrator allows Fitzgerlald and
Hemingway to write about their own society. Fitzgerlald comments on the jaded old wealth society
of the Eastern United States and the corruption of the American Dream.... Show more content on

However, based on the details, the narrators conclusions are relatively evident. In this novel,
Fitzgerald is able to write about his experiences from a different perspective and include his self in
both the characters of Jay Gatsby and Nick Carraway.
As in many of Fitzgerald s works, he writes about a golden girl 1), the desire of every man that he
couldn t have. In the case of The Great Gatsby, Fitzgerald creates the character of Daisy to fit
this discription. In actuality the motivation for Fitzgerald s writing about the golden girl came
from real events. Ginevra King was the love of [Fitzgerald s] young life. 2) In Ginevra s eyes,
however, Fitzgerald was simply one of the many men in her young life and when it came time
she dropped him. 3)Most importantly, however, his rejection by Ginevra motivated much of his
fiction. 4) In The Great Gatsby, Daisy is shown by the end to be a very careless and confused
who smashed up things and creatures and then retreated back into their money or their vast
carelessness... and let other people clean up the mess they had made. 5) This statement from the
novel relates to Fitzgeralds own fealings for Ginevra who used him, then dropped him when it
came time leaving Francis devastated.6) This rejection shaped Fitzgeralds view of women in
general and thus affected his characterization of women. The romance between Fitzgerald and
Ginevra King is also given

The purpose of this type of system is to maintain a constant fluid flow. In order to maintain this fluid flow the tanks have to preserve a certain liquid level, this necessary level depends on the other variables. My system will consist of: an inflow valve, the tanks, valves to go between the tanks, and an outflow valve. I want to do this experiment because about two years ago, when I was in the seventh grade, I did a science fair experiment where I tested how changing the variables in a mass spring damper system affected system response. • 3. Black Bird Feeding Requirement Essay Feeding Requirements What you will feed the blackbird may be dependent on the blackbird s state but also the weather, as what blackbirds eat are season dependent, for example: Spring and early summer they eat much more insects and larvae than they do for the majority of summer and winter and autumn. In the late summer through to autumn they eat an increase in earthworms, even though they eat these throughout the year. Blackbirds are able to eat: insects, worms, caterpillars, snails, spiders, berries, fruit and seeds. The blackbird s appetite shouldn t really be affected because of a broken wing, however, their appetite will have probably decreased due to the antibiotics given to them if they have been given any antibiotic if there was blood present or if they are just generally feeling lousy, so make sure that portion sizes are not over facing them. • 4. Saturation And Synthesis Essay Discussion When the degree of saturation О© is equal to one, the system is at equilibrium. When О© is greater than one, precipitation should occur because the solution is saturated in ions with respect to the solid mineral form. The data show that gypsum should have started precipitating between sample 1 and sample 2 collection time, because this is when the degree of saturation moves to beyond 1. The peak saturation for gypsum occurs between sample 3 and sample 4, and decreases afterwards. This decrease is most likely caused by the decrease in available ions after gypsum continued to precipitate through the experiment, leaving fewer calcium and sulfate ions to contribute to the degree of saturation. As evaporation continues, halite approaches... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Degree of saturation calculations showed that gypsum precipitated sometime before sample 2 was taken and peaked around the time sample 4 was taken. Although calculated degrees of saturation for halite did not exceed 1, the sudden decrease in sodium and chloride ions in solutions indicate that precipitation most likely occurred, and then exhausted the ions to the point where the solution was no longer saturated. Because the precipitate was not analyzed, whether or not halite did precipitate out is not known. The order of precipitation recorded in the experiment agrees with Usiglio s original ... • 7. Macroeconomics And Macroeconomics Of Macroeconomics Macroeconomics (from the Greek prefix makro meaning large and economics) is a branch of economics dealing with the performance, structure, behavior, and decision making of an economy as a whole, rather than individual markets. This includes national, regional, and global economies.[1][2] With microeconomics, macroeconomicsis one of the two most general fields ineconomics. Macroeconomists study aggregated indicators such as GDP, unemployment rates, National income, price indices, and the interrelations among the different sectors of the economy, to better understand how the whole economy functions. Macroeconomists develop models that explain the relationship between such factors as national income, output, consumption, unemployment, inflation ,savings, investment, international trade and international finance. In contrast, microeconomics is primarily focused on the actions of individual agents, such as firms and consumers, and how their behavior determines prices and quantities in specific markets While macroeconomics is a broad field of study, there are two areas of research that are emblematic of the discipline: the attempt to understand the causes and consequences of short run fluctuations in national income (the business cycle), and the attempt tounderstand the determinants of long run economic growth (increases in national income). Macroeconomic models and their forecasts are used by governments to assist in the development and evaluation of economic policy. Basic ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The nature of business is to make money and the policies set forth by human resourcesare the ethical guidelines that enable companies to accomplish that with respect to the financial world that they are involved. I will look into the policies and see whether they were a sound from the beginning or whether the policies were doomed from the start. I will see whether the policies had any ethical merits and how this was overlooked it there was a good foundation. I will look into some problems with human resource policies then I will go over companies polices that caused a near bankruptcy and a company policy that caused a complete failure. The Risky Business of Human Resource Policies The foundation of any business starts with its policies and if that foundation is not build with strong ethical policies then the business will likely fail. • 12. Business Strategies For Successful Marketing Strategies Essay : For week nine we discussed chapter eight, the Developing Business Strategies PowerPoint, and got back our exams for review. Chapter eight revolves around developing marketing strategies. Some of the basic strategies for successful marketing revolve around: Moving quickly to satisfy customer needs. Using pricing to differentiate the product/service. Paying attention to packaging. Building customer loyalty. Offering sample and demonstrations. Educating customers. Of course, there are more strategies that can be utilized by a business, but those are a few rock solid ideas that will ensure one s marketing plan has a strong basic foundation. When I look at my business s approach to marketing, I see that there are some minor issues or oversights that could use further analysis and reconsideration. Namely, our online social media presence is decent, but could be much better. There s also the fact that our packing consists of nothing more than a label around each skein and a little letter in each shipment. The boxes have no design or branding, and that s something I could really benefit from having. Although getting custom printed boxes would increase our packaging costs, perhaps a nice middle ground would be to use an ink stamp to put my logo on the box, or maybe even a sticker. • 13. A Brief Explanation Of The Prisoner s Dilemma Purpose: Introduction/background of problem The purpose of this discussion is to give a brief explanation of the Prisoner s Dilemma game, the notion of dominant strategy, and the concept of Nash equilibrium and cooperation. The Prisoner`s Dilemma game helps us understand what governs the balance between cooperation and competition in business, in politics, and in social settings (Dixit Nalebuff, 2008). An example, of a traditional method of this game is how a school principal resolve student conflicts by talking to both parties involved to determine the circumstance of the event that occurred. The strategy in this method is to try and determine the truth by listening to two conflicting stories of events. The Prisoner`s Dilemma in economics can be applied when we look at competing business and how they market their products to receive the best possible revenue. An example of this is the automobile industry and how to compete with one another for customer sale through competitive pricing and incentives. The notion of dominant strategy is the notion that one strategy is better than the other and this notion could typically give one side an advantage over another. This is great information to have but it all depends on how this information is implemented in a company s business practices. The concept of Nash equilibrium and cooperation is a concept that was developed by a mathematics graduate named, John Forbes Nash. The idea of the Nash ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

A normal box of cake mix should make about 20 cake pops. After all the balls are rolled out, they should go in the fridge or freezer for about a half an hour to help them set. After those agonizing thirty minutes are up, you re able to take the cake pops out of the refrigerator or freezer, and then melt some almond bark. The chocolate on the stick is to help the stick stay sturdy while you actually eat the sweet treat. When you ve finished putting the sticks into each of the cake balls, you should put them back into the refrigerator in order to help the chocolate solidify. Those that do not have firearms trust that the police will take care of whatever situation might present itself. The average response time for the police is on average roughly 10 15 minutes. The average response time for a .357 magnum is 1300 feet per second. So using a .357 to shoot a target standing 1ft away is 900 times faster than waiting 15 minutes for a police officer. Many people have perished waiting for police while their home has been burglarized. With some sort of firearm in the house that burglar could have easily been eliminated. if those individuals would have had a firearm in their possession chances are they would still be living. • 29. Use Of Electronic Medical Records From Emergency... Background Most emergency care is delivered in Emergency Departments (ED), there were over 129 million ED visits in the United States in 2010, and some of the most common reasons patients visit the ED is for abdominal pain, chest pain, fever, headache and back pain (Mutter Clancy, 2014). Doctors and the other healthcare providers in the ED use electronic medical records (EMRs), rapid blood/urine testing, and diagnostic procedures such as; X ray, CT scan, MRI to decide if a patient requires inpatient or outpatient care (Free et al., 2013). They also use other tools such as; telemetry, bedside sonography, point of care tests, and clinical decision aids for quick decision (Free et al., 2013). The ED physician s new mHealth technologies may allow more patients to receive the care at home that was once only accessible in hospital (Manojlovich et al., 2015), and on that way they don t need to go to ED for minor illness. mHealth is transforming the way people with chronic illness are retrieving and evaluating information and communicating with their primary physician or other health professionals (Free et al., 2013). Her domineering authority is reinforced during Jack s attempt to propose to Gwendolen, as Lady Bracknell bluntly orders him to rise from his semi recumbent posture . The purpose of this essay is to address the question, how mindfulness works to improve mental health when used as part of psychological treatment? Firstly, a brief overview is given about what depression is and what the symptoms are, based on the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, fifth edition (DSM 5). Secondly, It will discuss mindfulness, as it is defined in mental health treatments. The main body of this essay will cover a description of what MBTC is, where it comes from, how it works, and how this treatment is activated in mindfulness based therapies. The final section will review three studies that have used MBCT in the treatment of depression. Depression is a normal emotional reaction to perceived loss and hopelessness (Segal, Williams, Teasdale, 2002). There are a number of different types of depression such as chronic depression, manic depression and the primary focus of this essay Major Depressive Disorder (MDD). • 41. Summary Of The Metamorphosis By Kafka In Franz Kafka s The Metamorphosis , the transformation of the character Gregor from a man to one of the most repellent insects, a cockroach, may seem exaggerated and ridiculous, becoming more so over the course of the story as the action builds and emotions become more charged. Kafka s intention, however, is to expose and explore the impoverishment of human psychologywith respect to the ways in which changes in one s circumstances and conditions reshape notions of justice and mercy. These themes will be explored further in this character analysis of Gregor in The Metamorphosis. While it is the subject of this character analysis, Gregor who has been mysteriously and inexplicably reduced to one of the lowest forms of animal life in this story by Kafka representing the absurd, it isGregor s family in The Metamorphosis whose psychological development is least human and humane. Gregor has changed physical form, but Kafka clearly indicates that his essential being has not changed in any fundamental way. Gregor still has human feelings and needs, he still wishes to relate with his family and other members of society, and he still wishes to be responsible. As this character analysis of Gregor in The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka suggests, his mother, father, and his sister have not changed form, but their metamorphoses are the most profound because they demonstrate how easily one s beliefs, values, and basic treatment of others can be compromised because of a failure to adapt psychologically. From the opening of The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka, the character of Gregor is portrayed as a whole and complex human being. Like many people, he detests his job, but he recognizes that his work is necessary because it supports his family. He applies himself with great earnestness (Kafka 35) to his grinding work as a traveling salesman, not only because he wants to support his parents and pay off a debt that they incurred, but because he dreams of sending his sister, Grete, to a conservatory where she can learn to play violin professionally (Kafka 37). If the area is not involved in any type of groups for instance, religious groups, neighborhood watch program, crime prevention program etc, many different programs they have available keep citizens, especially youths out of trouble because neighbors are constantly keeping an eye out, and spreading wisdom to the children as well. Thus, we conceptualize informal social control as the willingness of neighborhood residents to actively engage in behaviors aimed at preventing criminal and deviant behavior in the local area, with a particular emphasis on the deviant behavior of youth, (Silver and Miller, 2004, p.553). It is also the most difficult to understand, given the vast array of different functions spread throughout its mass and the interconnected functionality of its regions that makes subdividing it based on form or function a difficult task. Craddock, et al. (2012), in the article examined, attempt to produce a method for further examining the functional connectivity (FC) of the regions of the brainand subdivide them based on spatial positioning and function. Understanding FC in the brain can significantly improve understanding of many brain functions and the effect of outside stimulus of various parts of the brain. This examination will only be able to take place by creating an accurate whole brain atlas. This creation of a whole brain atlas, or a map of the brain separating it into regions of interest (ROI) based positioning and/or function, has typically been done via fMRI analysis of the brain combined with an anatomically based mapping procedure. This study seeks to use fMRI technology combined with an algorithm to create voxel clusters or ROI s that optimize both spatial coherence and homogeneity in regards to the FC of the individual ROIs that can closely match of the results of a voxel wise analysis, while improving on computation power required and interpretability.
