Pulp Fiction s Bathroom Fixation Although most would relate bathrooms to places of grime and
filth, the director of Pulp Fiction, Quentin Tarantino, portrays them as sacred symbols that relate to
moral dilemmas held within both his movie s characters and its audience. Featuring bathrooms in
films has only recently become acceptable, with the first showing occurring in 1960 within the film
Psycho. Critics argued that toilets are the last things audiences would like to see at the movie
theatre, but this controversy inspired even more features of latrines in later cinematography. For
instance, within one of Quentin Tarantinos most popular and critically acclaimed films, Pulp
Fiction, he not only includes the usage of the bathroom, but features the specific kind of room
multiple times throughout the film. However, the frequent portrayal of these small, dirty rooms
was no accident and instead served as a symbolic place of recollection of one s morals and ethics.
Throughout the movie, characters are seen within bathrooms on multiple occasions. More

Introduction Some economists assume that people make a choice according to the principle of
value maximisation and the ordering of the options is independent of the context. However, there
are anomalies of decision making suggesting that the context matters. The three basic anomalies are
the similarity effect (Tversky, 1972), the attraction effect (Huber, Payne and Puto, 1982) and the
compromise effect (Simonson, 1989). Theorists have tried explaining these effects by various
approaches. For example, the multi alternative decision field theory (Roe, Busemeyer and
Townsend, 2001) can explain all the three effects. In addition, Tversky (1972) applied the
elimination by aspects model to illustrate the similarity effect and Tversky and Simonson (1993)
introduced a componential context model to explain the attraction and compromise effects. The
next section reviews the three anomalies of multi alternative decision making. Then we illustrate
how the three theories mentioned above explain the anomalies. After that, the decision field theory

Executive Summary
This report provides analysis and evaluation of a newly designed wastewater treatment facility for
Sand Valley, Nevada. Analysis will include Biological OxygenDemand (BOD) along with total,
volatile, and fixed suspended solids. Methods for analysis will include the Winkler Test for BOD
and a Hatch test for the suspend solids.
The report finds BOD levels meet the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES)
permit renewal standards. Results for suspended solids shows an opposite trend. Suspended solids
increase throughout the course of the water treatment. This does not meet NPDES standards.
Further suspended solids test will be needed to insure a minimal amount of error. If the same trend
continues, the facility may need to be redesigned to meet NPDES standards.

Corruption is a complex political, social, and economic anomaly that negatively affects developing
and developed countries. It weakens democratic institutions, holds economic development,

individual factors and situational factors, which in situational factors is the most important.
Individual factors helps to understand the reason for some people perceive specific action to be
unethical whiles others do not. However, the decision making cannot simply be explained in terms

Research Paper On Arthur Eddington
Arthur S. Eddington was an English astronomer, born on Dec. 28, 1882, at Kendal, United
Kingdom. His father Arthur Henry Eddington was a school teacher, died when Eddington was
just two years old. His family had to move to Weston, where he was raised. From 1893 to 1898,
Arthur Eddington had attended Brynmelyn School, where Eddington quickly distinguished
himself, mainly in mathematics and English literature. As a child Eddington was very
intelligent, and by his own account had mastered the multiplication table before he could read.
He received his bachelor s degree in 1902 from Owens College, Manchester, and later he
immediately proceeded to Trinity College, Cambridge. At Cambridge Eddington placed first in
the mathematical examination in his second year, for him it was an unprecedented achievement.
According to NY Times, In 1905 he took his bachelor s degree from Cambridge University; in
1907 he became Smith s Prize winner and was elected a fellow of Trinity College; and in 1909 he
obtained his master s degree. Aside from being an astronomer, he was also a physicist, and a

MATERIALS AND METHODS
This prospective clinical study was conducted in Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery,
Ragas Dental College and Hospital, Chennai, from April 2014 to October 2016. 40 healthy patients
requiring surgical extraction of impacted mandibular third molars and fulfilling inclusion criteria
were included in the study out of which 23 were males and 17 were females. The nature and
number of the diagnostic investigations required, the clinical procedure about to be performed, the
duration of the treatment and the possible complications associated with impaction procedure were
explained to the patient and an informed consent was obtained. The study was approved by the
Institutional Review Board. Patients were divided randomly into two groups. (Group I test group
receiving submucosal tramadol, Group II control group and each group contains 20 patients each.)
INCLUSION AND EXCLUSION CRITERIA

1.Healthy subjects of any sex, between 18 40 years of age
2.Impacted mandibular third molars with Class I, II or III and Position A, B or C, according to
the Pell and Gregory classification on intra oral periapical radiograph.
3.Free of pericoronitis / infection at surgery before surgical removal of third molar.
