Computer Architecture And Its Impact On The Growth Of...
What is evolution? The term evolution is defined in the Websters Dictionary as the gradual
development of something, especially from a simple to a more complex form. When it comes to how
we have progressed to a much more complex form in technology in general, the growth is nothing
short of outstanding. I remember when I was in awe when I viewed the first flat screen television in a
mall, or seeing how cell phone pagers have evolved to cell phones so small they can fit inside of your
pocket as well as surf the internet while purchasing items, selling items, home care and literally almost
any subject you can think of technology and the growth of technology has tapped into the market. We
are living in an information age where every business sector is becoming digitized; this can be a truly
exciting or scary time depending on how you view technology. Computer architecture, and it s
evolution is at the heart of this growth in technology everywhere. Increasing speed, minimizing area,
cost and workload, while improving performance; it is truly outstanding how a 1800 s.f computer clad
with vacuum tubes weighing almost 50 tons has turned into an a smart phone that has basically the
same functionality as our current desktop. How did this happen? What was the pioneering discovery
or invention that led the race towards the prosperity we currently enjoy? Some would argue: Cache
Memory, Pipelining, Virtual Memory and even Paging, however, those arguments all stem from the

Times Of War Art Analysis
Art in Times of War In 1941, the United States officially entered World War II after the Japanese
attack at Pearl Harbor. Usually when a country enters a war, society has to grapple with
accommodating to social and economic changes. In the United States, while brave men fought in the
war, the rest of the population stayed behind, taking care of the home front. World War II, also brought
many challenges domestically. The labor force was under equipped; there were not enough workers to
manufacture all the tools needed to fight the war. The government needed a new strategy to get more
citizens to take on factory jobs left behind by the men fighting the war. The propaganda poster We Can

Propaganda was a prominent form of advertising during the Second World War. Artists, worked
created pieces to convince people to join movements. The poster by Miller J. Howard, was aimed to
convince women that they could be part of the labor force, specifically in the factory sector. The
poster contains bright colors such as blues, reds, and yellows to attract attention. Miller used bright
colors to create and image that captivated women s attention and convinced them that they could also
do what back then was considered a men s job. Using bright colors, reflects the level of urgency the
government had to recruit more women into the labor force. The woman s pose in the poster is another
technique used to make a convincing statement. The poster features a women flexing her arm, which
represent the women s strength and capacity to fulfill the positions left by the men who went to fight
the war. The women portrayed in the poster, is depicted as patriotic based on the colors of her
clothing. In the poster, the artist displayed a slogan that reads We Can Do It . The poster has all the
aspects of the type of advertising used during the war. By using slogans, the artist made his point
straight forward. The artist made his point so everybody would be able to understand it and spread the

The Education Framework Of Nigeria
Presentation
Education is said to be act or procedure of bestowing or securing general learning, building up the
forces of thinking and judgment, and by and large of setting oneself up or others mentally for
experienced life. The Ministry of Education is responsible for education in Nigeria. The education
framework in Nigeria is separated into Kindergarten, essential training, auxiliary training and tertiary
training.
Foundation Problem
The present example of Nigeria Education framework, especially the Tertiary Institutions has been an
issue of sensitivity toward the administration, accomplices, educationists, managers (home and
abroad), graduates and diverse establishments. This paper took a gander at the present pattern of
tertiary education as far as educational modules, instructors, students, funding, facilities, industrial
collaborations and additionally showing techniques with the point of view of proposing the way
ahead.

the seventh most swarmed country on the planet. Nigeria has one of the greatest masses of youth on

Abstract In this paper we propose a methodology based on data mining andself evaluation in order to
predict whether an instructor will or will not accept the students proposed marks in a course. This is an
on going work in which we have evaluated the usage of classification techniques and cost sensitive
corrections. We have carried out several experiments ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
II. METHODOLOGY
The methodology that we have used in this study is as follows.During the course, students are
evaluated by means of a multiple choice testing that is an effective assessment technique. Before the
final exam date, all students are requested to self grade. Students propose the mark/grade that they
think they should get for the course. Then, the instructor accepts or declines the proposed mark of
each student as the final mark for the course. This way, only students whose score was declined by the
instructor will have to sit the final exam. Finally, we try to predict the instructor s decision of
accepting or declining the score proposed by students.
We have used two different (initial and new) data mining approaches (see Figure 1).
Figure 1. Approaches for predicting instructor s decision.
The initial approach uses three numerical variables: the scoreobtained by students in the course s
activities, the proposed scores by students and the difference between these two previous scores.
Then, it applies traditional classification algorithms for predicting the instructor s decision about
whether to accept the proposed students scores (YES) or not (NO). The new approach uses the three
previous variables as well as a self evaluation questionnaire as another source of information. Then, it
applies cost sensitive classification [2] that is normally used for obtaining

Censorship from Obscene Material
Censorship From Obscene Material
Today, in the 1990 s, citizens in our society are being bombarded with obscene material from every
direction. From the hate lyrics of Gun s N Roses to the satanic lyrics of Montley Crue and Marilyn
Manson to the sexually explicit graphical content of today s movies, the issue is how much society is
going to permit and where we, as a society, should we draw the line. The freedom of speech has
always been considered a right, but that doesn t mean that you can shout, Fire! in a crowded movie
theater. The real question is whether such material is harmful or dangerous to our society. Many
people are asking whether or not we should censor offensive material. They believe that some material
is too ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The critics of this point of view think that private sector censorship will not be enough. They believe
that the entertainment industry will not be able to control itself. Private sector restrictions do not have
the authority of the law, therefore they cannot successfully draw the line between what can and cannot
be said in public. The third and final possible solution is no censorship at all. While many Americans
are troubled by what they feel is offensive speech, and feel that it should be restricted by law,
advocates of the third solution disagree. They feel that there is more harm in restricting free speech
than by the offensive speech itself. In the bill of rights, the first amendment says, Congress shall make
no long abridging the freedom of speech. The first amendment was intended to protect the minorities
from the tyranny of the majorities. The advocates of this view feel that the minority has a right to
express themselves regardless of the opinion of the majority. Free speech matters because it
encourages creativity. Without the freedom of speech, America would probably be dull and drab like a
communist country such as the former USSR. For example, the comedy of Andrew Dice Clay,
considered offensive by some, shouldn t be censored from those who find him
humorous

The Metaphysics Of Morals By Immanuel Kant
In The Metaphysics of Morals, Section I focuses on the process of instilling the concept of virtue into
those who have not yet developed their own sense of pure practical reason. The author insists that this
should be done methodically and through a system of dialogue. Through a series of questions and
answers between a pupil and his instructor.
In Section I of The Metaphysics of Morals, Immanuel Kant states that moral catechism needs to
precede any religious catechisms. Kant goes on to say that professions of religion cannot be made
until a mature moral conscience exists as it can make religion impure. I disagree with this sentiment,
as I believe that my own moral conscience is based on Christian beliefs, and not the other way around.

Situation Of Indigenous People In Canada
Debate Response # 2
Do you feel the government is doing enough to address the situation of indigenous people in Canada?
The simple answer to this question is no. However, many situations, history, and aspects, acts and
laws, need to be taken into consideration to have a full understanding of what the government has
done and has not done to help the indigenous people in Canada. It must also be noted that many of the
things the government implemented to help, actually backfired and caused more harm than good. The
Indian Act was established to ensure that First Nations individuals received protection and certain
consideration under Canadian laws (White, 84). However, this act in many ways caused more harm

How was the Battle of the Somme significant to the British in World War 1? The Battle of the Somme
was significant to the British in World War 1 because the British started and ended the battle, there
were horrific casualties as a result of this Battle and it led to many lessons being learnt. The Battle was
started by the British on the 1st July 1916 and ended on the 18th November 1916. Throughout the
Battle, many smaller battles took place the most significant being day Z. The death toll was very high
and many lessons were learnt from the Battle. The battle of the Somme was started by the British on
the 1st of July 1916 at 7:30 am (Johnson, 2016). The plan developed by the British involved the
British army (BEF) attacking the Germans along a 15 mile front north of the Somme and the French
army to attacking the Germans along an 8 mile front. They planned a weeklong bombardment on the
German trenches which would use a total of 1.7 million shells (Johnson, 2016). The plan was
developed in hope to relieve the French army fighting at Verdun with the Germans. Two other goals
were to destroy German s reserve power and inflict heavy losses on the German army. Throughout the
Battle, many important events occurred. The most gruesome day was the first day also known as day
Z which led to disaster on the British side. From here there were a series of smaller attacks in
preparation for a large scale assault on the 4th of July (BBC, 2016). This attack

A Raisin The Sun And Willy Loman Compare And Contrast Essay
The striving for being rich and have a wealthy life has always been present in the American society.
Often living in a capitalistic society leads people to become greedy, and as a result many become too
materialistic. This may happen because of the challenge to pursue the American dream where most of
Americans are trying to fulfill it. Unfortunately, for most of people it is very difficult to acquire this
high status and to secure a spot in the upper class society. Arthur Miller s, Death of a Salesman, and
Lorraine Hansberry s, A Raisin the Sun, are two plays that reveal two main characters: Willy Loman
and Walter Lee Young, characters that reflect typical features of the people who struggles to achieve
the American Dream. Although they may have common characteristics and share similarities, they
also have numerous issues and are very different, setting them apart from other families and even each
other. Therefore, the main focus of this paper will be to compare and put in contrast these two great
characters. In both plays, A Raisin the Sun and Death of a Salesman, the father (Walter and Willy) is
the main individual that holds his attention throughout the plays. Because of their roles are often
changing in the plays, Walter and Willy can be the protagonist and the antagonist. That being said,
they both have goals to possess their own business and to be their own boss. They both strive to live
wealthy. As Walter says No...It was always money, Mama. We just didn t know about it (Hansberry).
This reveals that Walter is more materialistic instead of considering the feeling of his family.
Willy and Walter are very similar in many ways. For instance, they both are trying to be good fathers.
Walter s goal to get rich is influenced by his restless desire to offer to his family a better life: You
tired, ain t you? Tired of everything. Me, the boy, the way we live this beat up hole everything. Ain t
you? (Discovering Literature, 1295). Meanwhile, the love that Willy has for his sons is undeniable.
Very often he would slip into the past before he drifted apart from his sons: Remarkable. Remember
those days? The way Biff used to simonize that car? The dealer refused to believe there was eighty
thousand miles on

Moll Flanders And The Preface
The justifications made by the narrator of Moll Flanders and the anonymous author of the Preface are
not convincing because their claims are deceitful and appear to act in each individuals own self
interests. The narrator influences the story through unbelievable, and sometimes excessive,
explanations which control the readers thoughts about Moll Flanders choices and actions. Similarly,
the author of the Preface directs the attention onto the readers judgements to defend the novel. Both
the narrator and the author of the Preface abuse their power as storytellers in attempts to control the
judgements of the readers and rationalize telling a story full of crime and wickedness. The author of
the Preface recognizes that the readers will ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The beginning of the novel does not agree with the justifications made by the author of the Preface.
The readers soon discover that the story s narrator is unreliable, which makes it difficult to for the
reader to have something of instruction from the story because the narrator may be lying to obscure
the truth (author of Preface 5). The narrator, who goes by the name of Moll Flanders , does not expose
herself (Defoe 7). When the novel begins she exclaims that My True Name is so well known in the
Records, or Registers at Newgate, and in the Old Baily....that it is not expected I should set my Name
(Defoe 7). The narrator conceals her true name to the readers because she recognizes that the
proclamation of her name may result in an imprisonment for prior felonies. It is at this blurred point of
view of the narrator that readers start to doubt if the events in the novel are true because they don t
receive a genuine guide through the story. Instead, they are left with a nameless raconteur that conveys
a personal account without disclosing her true self. The author of the Preface and the narrator exploit
their power which, therefore, makes their justifications unconvincing. Moll Flanders often provides a
passionate rationalization for her bad behavior which impacts the readers emotions and causes them to
feel remorse for her. Many times throughout the

Argument Essay On Texting While Driving
Texting while driving is a controversial subject. The vast majority of people feel that texting while
driving should be illegal. Most people also feel that legal actions need to take place to stop this
behavior. However, I m part of the small majority that disagrees with the main point of view. I believe
that texting while driving shouldn t be illegal and that states that have made it illegal need to repeal
those laws. Texting while driving isn t the true problem. The true problem is that people get distracted
easily. So I believe that making texting while driving illegal doesn t even solve the problem. Another
reason why it shouldn t be illegal is that people don t follow laws as it is, and this can cause even more
problems. Texting while driving should be the driver s choice, not the government s choice. While
those who think that the law that bans texting while driving will solve the problem, I believe that it
will only worsen the problem. The people who choose to follow the law most likely don t care about
texting and driving. So they probably wouldn t text and drive even if it isn t a law. However, those
who are addicted to texting and driving will not stop just because a law is passed. In past events where
similar situations have occurred, it has only backfired on our government and society. This situation I
m talking about is making certain drugs illegal. The government made drugs illegal believing it was
going to help solve the crime rate, solve social problems, health, and hygiene. This clearly did not go
as planned. It ended up creating gangs, private selling of different types of drugs, and crime rates
increasing. I do agree that texting and driving is dangerous. However, I believe that texting and
driving laws make the problem worse. People who still text and drive have to hide their phones lower
on their laps than they normally would because it is illegal to text and drive. Since they have to put
their phones lower on their lap, their reaction time increases. In some cases passing a law solves the
problem, but in other cases , like texting while driving and making certain drugs illegal, the problem
can possibly become worse. The reason why texting and driving is so dangerous isn t because of

An Analysis of Actions Taken by the Federal Reserve System
Economic Forecasting at Bank of Green:
An Analysis of Actions Taken By the Federal Reserve System
INTRODUCTION
Bank of Green is a mid tier bank that focuses primarily on consumers and small business lending.
Originally, the bank provided loans through traditional bank deposits. However, in the more recent
years, the bank has broadened its consumer base by offering a larger range of financial products and
advice to more wealthy customers. This includes mutual funds, annuities, insurance products, and
even financial planning courses. Although the bank just starts offering new financial products, the
economic situation is making it hard for the bank to grow. In a recent decline in consumer confidence,
investors are getting really concerned and uncertain about their investments. With a very wide range
of investors, we need to clearly define a strategy that will incorporate future actions from the Federal
Reserve and build back trust into the bank and its financial products. This strategy should help boost
the confidence back into our investors and keep them to continue investing.
ANALYZING THE DATA OF BANK OF GREEN
By comparing the forecast of Bank of Green in 2006 and the past performance of the economy, it
should help us develop future trends. Upon analyzing the data, we first need to figure out the GDP
deflator for each quarter in order to find out the inflation rate. To figure out the GDP deflator, we first
divide the nominal GDP by the real GDP and then multiply that

Information Security And The Healthcare
Introduction Information security and privacy is occupying a most important role in the healthcare
territory in order to deliver protected information process to their patients (Appari, Johnson, 2010). As
healthcare department is the organization with vast data and essential information the hospitals has to
keep a useful information security technique in their enterprise process (Mishra et al., 2011).
Information security is one such phase in the healthcare sphere which is extremely problematic to
describe and evaluate even to the individuals who are working on the process. In the healthcare
organization, information is of many types which required for the work and even the security is a main
control for almost all the practices which are transmitted out in the healthcare field (Appari, Johnson,
2010). Hospitals, in specific, have been instructed to create a new set of security specialists to protect
healthcare data tools techniques upon which exists may rely. Healthcare data is very critical for
patients because it is very confidential records. If a medical apparatus is filled with a computer virus it
can even exemplify a possibility to patients lives. Hence, hospitals should design alertness of the risk,
to defend against concerns to healthcare databanks and be concerned about the high risk of infected
computers or medical tools being connected to their networks (Mishra et al., 2011).

Private Property and the Rule of the Middle Class in...
Private Property and the Rule of the Middle Class in Aristotle s Politics
In his discussions of constitutions and cities in Politics, Aristotle makes it very clear that his top
priority is to provide people with the opportunity to pursue and achieve the good life. An integral part
of this is the stability of the constitution. Although Aristotle explicitly states that a kingship is the best
system of rule for any given generation, its lack of stability from one generation to the next
disqualifies it from being the best in reality. In his attempts to find a constitution with stability,
Aristotle comes to the decision that the middle class would be the ruler of such a constitution. This, he
says, will minimize the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Those constitutions which consider the common interest are right constitutions...those constitutions
which consider only the personal interest of the rulers are all wrong constitutions, or perversions of the
right forms (III.6). The kingship, however, does not appear at the top of Aristotle s list of good
constitutions constitutions that best allow its citizens to achieve the good life but rather on the bottom:
constitutional government (polity), aristocracy, and then monarchy, in decreasing order of virtue.
Aristotle explains this discrepancy by revealing that providing the citizens with a good life necessarily
implies the need for stability. It remains to treat of the methods for preserving constitutions in general
(V.8). A kingship may be the most virtuous constitutional type for any given generation, but it is
extremely vulnerable to corruption from one generation to the next. If the kingship is accepted as the
best form of government for cities, what is to be the position of the king s children? Are we to say that
his descendants should also be kings? If they turn out as some of them have done, the result will be
mischievous (III.15). The virtue of a kingship is based on the virtue of the king on one man. One man,
who rules a single generation justly, in pursuit of the common interest, may pass his power on to a
man who rules the next general with malice and greed, in pursuit of his

Gender Stereotypes In Chaucer
hors , when Symkyn goth to the hors are used many times in The General Prologue (4062). A horse
was a socioeconomic factor that distinguish between class and privilege. That is why certain
characters in Chaucer s tale owned elegant and well maintained horses, to promote class in a
materialistic approach. However, Adrienne C. Frie, notes that having a horse entailed reputation. It
involved a class separation for those who possessed them and those who did not (Frie, 25). Frie
continuously notes the power that having a horse involved, where even in the Early Iron Age horses

Aleyn and John have more abilities than horse riding and exerting dominance; they can conquer the
opposite gender; manipulating and dominating them, despite having their own sexual preferences
together. Assumingly, that Chaucer s era followed a heterocentrism philosophy, they wouldn t have
examined their relationship as odd or even homosexual (Tyson, 306). In result, Chaucer cleverly uses
women to form their relationship strongly; to oppose the compulsory heterosexuality in his period. It s
meant to resists pressure to be heterosexual (306). Sexuality, in Chaucer s attempt to satirically use
two homosexual males to perform sex with two women, is ironically used, in this case, to show the
immense power that John and Aleyn have in a heterosexual universe. The two scholars comprehend
that their bond allows them to keep their sexuality a secret without outing their own sexual desires.
Therefore, copulating with women shows how the Miller s sexual authority, is not manlier than their
own homosexual or heterosexual performances. In this case, when they sleep with Symkyn s
possession they regain their masculinity, especially when a staf is used by Miller s wife. It s meant to
comically insult a heterosexual relationship, specifically when it is the wife that is now holding a

The Senate Bill 149 ( Sb 149 )
The Senate Bill 149 (SB 149) signed by Greg Abbot is about relating to alternative methods for

Can The Subaltern Speak?
Spivak s essay Can the Subaltern Speak? is originally published in Cary Nelson and Lawrence
Grossberg s Marxist and the Interpretation of culture(1988).(3)
In this essay, Spivak encourages and motivates but at the same time, she criticizes the effort of the
subaltern studies group in establishing a voice. As a feminist, Spivak wants to give a voice for those
who used to be silent. She describes how colonists prove their well intentioned in India differentiating
between British civilization and Indian Barbarism .
In her work, she joins her disapproval of the abuse against women, non Europeans, and the poor by
the wealthy west. Spivak faces in her essay epistemic violence done by sermons of knowledge that
shape the whole world. This epistemic violence is like a curse over subjects of discourses. It is similar
to Edward Said idea(1935 2003; public intellectual and founder of the academic field of postcolonial
studies).(4)His idea of otherness in Orientalism display the bigotry of western scholars who write in a
biased way about the East in order to create

Heart Shaped Box Analysis
Nirvana s Heart Shaped Box stirred controversy due to the bizarre nature of the music video. In the
video, religious icons and the KKK appeared which was not accepted by Catholics. Yet, Heart Shaped
Box is one of the most successful songs from Nirvana. Usually when artists or authors release
workpieces that social identities as taboo, conversations reaching from coast to coast become debates
of the decade. In this scenario, Twain s The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn was the hotspot for
discussing the brutality of slavery and the usage of the prohibited n word . Once again, The
Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is considered an American classic novel. However, the extent of
using the n word is becoming a problem teaching and discomfort ... Show more content on

Heavy metal became popular in the early 1980s with famous bands such as Iron Maiden, Metallica,
Megadeth for their epic headbangs and guitar riffs in live concerts. Although, lyrics can definitely taint
heavy metal as dark. For instance, breathtaking composer, Marilyn Manson is known for horrifying
the audience for having provocative outfits and different color eyes. Despite being peculiar, Manson
reached number three on the Billboard albums chart...sold 1.4 million copies from Antichrist Superstar
(McConnell 2). As scary Marilyn Manson appears on pictures, credit must be given to him because he
quickly achieved fame. In fact, one of the famous songs is The Beautiful People which criticizes the
privileged. Manson and Twain had similarities because both are known for a specific composition
piece and receive critics of their works. Once again, censorship appears to cover work because heavy
metal promoted or condoned illegal drugs (Censoring 5). A generalization is clearly made by ignorant
individuals that do not give an opportunity to listen to music. Music is about expressing ideas or even
protesting about injustice in society. If people want to be judgemental about Twain, heavy metal or
anything that is out of the box, the realization that diversity is

Religion Is Not For Christianity And Islam
It is a widely accepted fact that religion is not limited to Christianity and Islam. Instead, it also
incorporates issues such as the fanaticism of expertise, worldly humanism, the consumer culture as
well as the consecration to Thursday Night Rugby among other illustrations. Analysis of the historical
definition of religion, it has been found that the five core features of religion are also met by politics.
For this reason, it is hard to distinguish religion from a policy. As pointed out by the arguments
provided regarding religion as a source of conflict, absolutism leads to a scenario where religion is
concerned with the ultimate objective (Esposito).
This aspect is also true for politics. Similar to the understanding that religion is instrumental in
developing communities; the same can be said of politics. Additionally, religion is connected to myths
and representations. On the other hand, politics imitates this entreaty through the dedication to a
national banner as well as the observation of war memorials (Esposito). Because it is difficult to
distinguish religion from politics, it follows that it is tedious to support the arguments provided since
they are clouded by the failure to distinguish religion from secular reality. This knowledge renders the
argument that profane principles such as autonomy, loyalty, free enterprise, and socialism have a
reduced inclination to causing violence compared to belief in the biblical God irrelevant. For this
reason, the kind of

Innovation Comparative Analysis: Cigna vs. Aetna
The purpose of this paper is to provide a comparative analysis of two companies within the same
industry (Cigna vs. Aetna) and an evaluation of their innovation processes.
Current Situation Analysis A recent survey of the nation s top CEO s concludes that innovation
remains the lifeblood of business. For CEO s today, it s all about achieving growth and efficiency
through innovation. It s not about product innovation so much anymore as about innovating business
models, process, culture and management. (April, 2006). In comparing Aetna and Cigna, it s
interesting to note that the companies share a number of important similarities. Both are recognized

Industry experts note that major transformations are under way in health insurance, and cite several
major drivers that demand innovation to protect future success: (Singh Sawhney, 2006)
· Rising healthcare costs are pressuring employers, who are moving toward consumer directed and
defined contribution benefit plan designs. This means that consumers will be challenged at new levels
to manage their health costs and benefits, and they ll need unprecedented levels of access to
information to manage their decisions. With consumers holding more of the financial responsibility,
they ll have new motivation to demand consumer friendly services and information. (Singh Sawhney,
2006)
· Competition is forcing consolidation of health insurers. Two years ago, there were fifteen major for
profit insurance plans that controlled the national market. They have consolidated into nine players,
and further changes are predicted. (Singh Sawhney, 2006)
· As a result of changing business models and industry consolidation, fewer companies are competing
for fewer covered lives in a stagnant market. In short, the commercial and group

Persuasive Essay On Ice Cubes
I circled the boy in the right in the snowman cartoon because his position of thinking is that the jacket
will keep the snowman cold and stop him from melting. Covering the snowman with a jacket will
prevent him from melting and will allow him to last a little bit longer because the jacket will trap the
air and heat going through so easily, which will stop the snowman from melting. The jacket will
protect the snowman from the outside air. My predictions for the ice cubes are that, first the
unwrapped one will melt faster comparing to all the others ice cubes that are wrapped in plastic,
aluminum foil, newspaper and hand towel. The unwrapped one will melt faster because the air will be
in direct contact with it giving energy to ice to melt.

Pros And Cons Of Flair Bartending
What Is Flair Bartending
Flair bartending is basically the art and skill of entertaining your clientele or audience with the
juggling and manipulation of your bar tools that includes, shaker tins, glassware, garnish, napkins, in
some rather neat, tricky and dazzling ways.
Flair bartending is not all about the juggling of the bottles, some ice trick which is the definition of
flair bartending in the strictest sense, but generally, it is just anything that can create an extra
excitement and dazzle to your clientele s drinking experience. You can do a simple juggling trick or a
rather funny story or joke. If possible to use both, the use them.
Flair or the freestyle bartending can be categorized into styles: the working flair and the competition

It is borderline choreography and like any competitive skill, it requires hours and hours of practice.
Like any dance competition, you need to be ready to bedazzle your audience and you are the spotlight
of the show. Be ready and be polished.
Like any competition, nothing is left to luck or chance. Your bottles are numbered and need to be
positioned accordingly and the alcohol just enough for you to make the drinks required. In this kind of
flair, you not usually working your guest but rather the crowd.
When it comes to flair competition, there is room for freedom for your tricks than the kind of tricks
you would pull behind the counter at work. You cannot take 4 minutes to make a drink at a busy bar
and you not allowed to spill at all. In a competition, spilling is a no go zone.
The reason for all this flair is to achieve some money, recognition (those viral YouTube videos), better
bartending gigs, and the prizes just to mention a few. If you doing your flair for this purpose, practice
and practice until you achieve perfection.

Comparing Job And J. B. The Book Of Job
In the book of Job, Job walks through life making sure his actions and words are carefully chosen, and
even goes as far as to burn offerings for sins yet committed. The book of Job, and then later the
modern take titled J.B., was a new display from God, showing that bad things can happen to good
people. The book of Job made it clear in the bible that God was not giving or taking anything because
of our own achievement, but that all things good and bad are from God. Archibald Macleish tries to
reenact Job in a more modern version that new readers today might find easier, and although so
aspects might be off from the original text, the story of J.B. follows closely to Job s story line. One

J.B s comforters add nothing meaningful to the conversation of suffering and why God has acted in
the ways he did, and one might even question the role of the comforters in J.B except mimicking the

point of the testing, they still root themselves in the word and use past examples of God and how he
acts to attempt to aid Job during his state of suffering. This distinction between comforters is critical
as one story truly adds meaning to the reader s life and has a discernable

The Use Of Steroids In Professional Sports
Since the beginning of sports athletes have sought a way to get an advantage over their opponents;
Whether it be in ancient rome using berries to give a sight stimulation during competition or today

not leaving anytime soon. Steroid use in sports should be legalized because they will revolutionize the
modern athlete, save thousands of money on drug tests, and no more athletes will lose their careers
over doping scandals. Today the modern athletes are expected to perform at the top level in front of
huge audiences, while most rise to the challenge some feel the need for an extra edge to top off their

Caitlyn Jenner Speech Analysis
Communication is a process that allows us to construct identities based on the interpretation and
intention of speech acts. Caitlyn Jenner, formerly known as Bruce Jenner, spent most her life
identified by her master identity as a cis white male and until a few years ago she adopted the
interactional identity of a transgender female. In this paper, I will demonstrate how various forms of
speech acts build, remain and/or change the master and interactional identity of Caitlyn Jenner as well
as her relationships to others. To do so I will explain how Caitlyn Jenner seeks advice from her close
family member Scott Disick to help her understand the variety of speech acts coming from both her
private and public life: ranging from Scott who demonstrate face redress and accept her based on her
new interaction identity as a female, while also dealing with the face threats that come from those
(particularly males) who only see her as her previous master identity as a male. To start, in lines 1 and
4 Caitlyn seeks to understand the perspective that guy s have on her transition, in both lines she draws
out the word guy to emphasize her lack of understanding on how males think. She notes that she s
struggled with it (male s perspective) even though contextually she had the master identity of a male
the majority of her life, she has always struggled with the standards that come with that identity and
that still remains. Therefore, she seeks the perspective of a close male in her family to provide her
with that outlook. In contrast, Scott, who possess the master identity of a male and also accepts it as an
interactional identity chooses to influx and draw out the word me in line 7 in his account that not
every male will be comfortable with her change in identity because while he notes that he is
comfortable with her change in line 24, he also draws out the word every to signify that he is inferring
that male perspectives are not always homogenous and he does this by using an upward intonation of I
to highlight the contrast which is prevalent through his tone change between both words. Additionally,
in line 25, Caitlyn utilizes the example of Kris Humphries tweet that was an indirect face threat about
her transition

Technology:
On the technological front, we recommend that Volkswagen should develop sensors which could
effectively determine the emission levels. For example, Oxygen sensors are a standard equipment on
passenger cars and light truck engines.
They should develop new ultra sensitive sensors that will detect the car s speed and according adjust
the system to reduce the fuel consumption. This will lead to the reduction in the carbon footprints left
by the cars manufactured by the company. Volkswagen should also make changes to its existing diesel
engine technology .
These strategies are in line with the UN goal 9 Industry, Innovation Infrastructure.
3. Operations:
We advice Volkswagen to consider and incorporate some of the manufacturing style used by Toyota
Co. as per the operation environment of Volkswagen:
Kaizen: Volkswagen should consider the process of continuous improvement with all the tasks
involved being precisely defined and standardized.
Jidoka: Will help in designing equipment and processes to stop and call attention to problems

This eliminated the need for an exit visa, a document giving authorization to leave a particular
country, which forced the Cuban residents to have permission to leave the island, as well as the
reinforcement that if one leaves the country for a long time, they may not come back. This in effect for
about five decades. Their president, Raul Castro had pledged to update their migration and soon, in
2016, President Barack Obama had stopped the rule and had allowed both U.S and Cuba to go to
either of their countries as they wish. Another issue Cuba faces is poverty, in where at least 7 out of 10
Cubans live in poverty, In 2006, Cuba ranked 6th out of 102 countries on the human poverty index.
Due to this, rations are given to the residents of Cuba because food has continued to be in short supply
for the island, in which the rations allow each citizen to have a ration book, which allows them to buy
only a certain amount of food supplies each week.Even with recent work to produce more food, there
are just not enough farmlands available. The same is with it`s human rights,in where the Cuban
government refuses to recognise human rights and denies legal status to human any human rights
group. Government authorities also harass, assault and imprison human rights defenders who attempt
to document abuses. Canada, on the other hand, Canada s aboriginals are treated very unfairly as they
do not experience the rights that other Canadians receive. They experience poorer health due to
unhealthy water and inadequate housing and crowding living spaces. Many Aboriginals live in
poverty, same as Cubans, which will result in the country losing some money for the economy trying

When it comes to how we have progressed to a much more complex form in technology in general, the growth is nothing short of outstanding. I remember when I was in awe when I viewed the first flat screen television in a mall, or seeing how cell phone pagers have evolved to cell phones so small they can fit inside of your pocket as well as surf the internet while purchasing items, selling items, home care and literally almost any subject you can think of technology and the growth of technology has tapped into the market. We are living in an information age where every business sector is becoming digitized; this can be a truly exciting or scary time depending on how you view technology. Computer architecture, and it s evolution is at the heart of this growth in technology everywhere. Increasing speed, minimizing area, cost and workload, while improving performance; it is truly outstanding how a 1800 s.f computer clad with vacuum tubes weighing almost 50 tons has turned into an a smart phone that has basically the same functionality as our current desktop. How did this happen? What was the pioneering discovery or invention that led the race towards the prosperity we currently enjoy? Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... II. METHODOLOGY The methodology that we have used in this study is as follows.During the course, students are evaluated by means of a multiple choice testing that is an effective assessment technique. Before the final exam date, all students are requested to self grade. Students propose the mark/grade that they think they should get for the course. Then, the instructor accepts or declines the proposed mark of each student as the final mark for the course. This way, only students whose score was declined by the instructor will have to sit the final exam. Finally, we try to predict the instructor s decision of accepting or declining the score proposed by students. We have used two different (initial and new) data mining approaches (see Figure 1). Figure 1. Approaches for predicting instructor s decision. The initial approach uses three numerical variables: the scoreobtained by students in the course s activities, the proposed scores by students and the difference between these two previous scores. Then, it applies traditional classification algorithms for predicting the instructor s decision about whether to accept the proposed students scores (YES) or not (NO). The new approach uses the three previous variables as well as a self evaluation questionnaire as another source of information. Then, it applies cost sensitive classification [2] that is normally used for obtaining ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 6. Censorship from Obscene Material Censorship From Obscene Material Today, in the 1990 s, citizens in our society are being bombarded with obscene material from every direction. From the hate lyrics of Gun s N Roses to the satanic lyrics of Montley Crue and Marilyn Manson to the sexually explicit graphical content of today s movies, the issue is how much society is going to permit and where we, as a society, should we draw the line. The freedom of speech has always been considered a right, but that doesn t mean that you can shout, Fire! in a crowded movie theater. The real question is whether such material is harmful or dangerous to our society. Many people are asking whether or not we should censor offensive material. They believe that some material is too ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The critics of this point of view think that private sector censorship will not be enough. They believe that the entertainment industry will not be able to control itself. Private sector restrictions do not have the authority of the law, therefore they cannot successfully draw the line between what can and cannot be said in public. The third and final possible solution is no censorship at all. While many Americans are troubled by what they feel is offensive speech, and feel that it should be restricted by law, advocates of the third solution disagree. They feel that there is more harm in restricting free speech than by the offensive speech itself. In the bill of rights, the first amendment says, Congress shall make no long abridging the freedom of speech. The first amendment was intended to protect the minorities from the tyranny of the majorities. The advocates of this view feel that the minority has a right to express themselves regardless of the opinion of the majority. Free speech matters because it encourages creativity. Without the freedom of speech, America would probably be dull and drab like a communist country such as the former USSR. For example, the comedy of Andrew Dice Clay, considered offensive by some, shouldn t be censored from those who find him humorous ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The Metaphysics Of Morals By Immanuel Kant In The Metaphysics of Morals, Section I focuses on the process of instilling the concept of virtue into those who have not yet developed their own sense of pure practical reason. The author insists that this should be done methodically and through a system of dialogue. Through a series of questions and answers between a pupil and his instructor. In Section I of The Metaphysics of Morals, Immanuel Kant states that moral catechism needs to precede any religious catechisms. Kant goes on to say that professions of religion cannot be made until a mature moral conscience exists as it can make religion impure. I disagree with this sentiment, as I believe that my own moral conscience is based on Christian beliefs, and not the other way around. The ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The simple answer to this question is no. However, many situations, history, and aspects, acts and laws, need to be taken into consideration to have a full understanding of what the government has done and has not done to help the indigenous people in Canada. It must also be noted that many of the things the government implemented to help, actually backfired and caused more harm than good. • 10. A Raisin The Sun And Willy Loman Compare And Contrast Essay The striving for being rich and have a wealthy life has always been present in the American society. Often living in a capitalistic society leads people to become greedy, and as a result many become too materialistic. This may happen because of the challenge to pursue the American dream where most of Americans are trying to fulfill it. Unfortunately, for most of people it is very difficult to acquire this high status and to secure a spot in the upper class society. Arthur Miller s, Death of a Salesman, and Lorraine Hansberry s, A Raisin the Sun, are two plays that reveal two main characters: Willy Loman and Walter Lee Young, characters that reflect typical features of the people who struggles to achieve the American Dream. Although they may have common characteristics and share similarities, they also have numerous issues and are very different, setting them apart from other families and even each other. Therefore, the main focus of this paper will be to compare and put in contrast these two great characters. In both plays, A Raisin the Sun and Death of a Salesman, the father (Walter and Willy) is the main individual that holds his attention throughout the plays. Because of their roles are often changing in the plays, Walter and Willy can be the protagonist and the antagonist. • 11. Moll Flanders And The Preface The justifications made by the narrator of Moll Flanders and the anonymous author of the Preface are not convincing because their claims are deceitful and appear to act in each individuals own self interests. The narrator influences the story through unbelievable, and sometimes excessive, explanations which control the readers thoughts about Moll Flanders choices and actions. Similarly, the author of the Preface directs the attention onto the readers judgements to defend the novel. Both the narrator and the author of the Preface abuse their power as storytellers in attempts to control the judgements of the readers and rationalize telling a story full of crime and wickedness. The beginning of the novel does not agree with the justifications made by the author of the Preface. The readers soon discover that the story s narrator is unreliable, which makes it difficult to for the reader to have something of instruction from the story because the narrator may be lying to obscure the truth (author of Preface 5). The narrator, who goes by the name of Moll Flanders , does not expose herself (Defoe 7). When the novel begins she exclaims that My True Name is so well known in the Records, or Registers at Newgate, and in the Old Baily....that it is not expected I should set my Name (Defoe 7). The narrator conceals her true name to the readers because she recognizes that the proclamation of her name may result in an imprisonment for prior felonies. It is at this blurred point of view of the narrator that readers start to doubt if the events in the novel are true because they don t receive a genuine guide through the story. Instead, they are left with a nameless raconteur that conveys a personal account without disclosing her true self. The author of the Preface and the narrator exploit their power which, therefore, makes their justifications unconvincing. Moll Flanders often provides a passionate rationalization for her bad behavior which impacts the readers emotions and causes them to feel remorse for her. Many times throughout the ... • 12. Argument Essay On Texting While Driving Texting while driving is a controversial subject. The vast majority of people feel that texting while driving should be illegal. Most people also feel that legal actions need to take place to stop this behavior. However, I m part of the small majority that disagrees with the main point of view. I believe that texting while driving shouldn t be illegal and that states that have made it illegal need to repeal those laws. Texting while driving isn t the true problem. The true problem is that people get distracted easily. So I believe that making texting while driving illegal doesn t even solve the problem. Another reason why it shouldn t be illegal is that people don t follow laws as it is, and this can cause even more problems. Texting while driving should be the driver s choice, not the government s choice. While those who think that the law that bans texting while driving will solve the problem, I believe that it will only worsen the problem. The people who choose to follow the law most likely don t care about texting and driving. So they probably wouldn t text and drive even if it isn t a law. However, those who are addicted to texting and driving will not stop just because a law is passed. In past events where similar situations have occurred, it has only backfired on our government and society. This situation I m talking about is making certain drugs illegal. The government made drugs illegal believing it was going to help solve the crime rate, solve social problems, health, and hygiene. This clearly did not go as planned. It ended up creating gangs, private selling of different types of drugs, and crime rates increasing. I do agree that texting and driving is dangerous. However, I believe that texting and driving laws make the problem worse. People who still text and drive have to hide their phones lower on their laps than they normally would because it is illegal to text and drive. Since they have to put their phones lower on their lap, their reaction time increases. In some cases passing a law solves the problem, but in other cases , like texting while driving and making certain drugs illegal, the problem can possibly become worse. • 14. An Analysis of Actions Taken by the Federal Reserve System Economic Forecasting at Bank of Green: An Analysis of Actions Taken By the Federal Reserve System INTRODUCTION Bank of Green is a mid tier bank that focuses primarily on consumers and small business lending. Originally, the bank provided loans through traditional bank deposits. However, in the more recent years, the bank has broadened its consumer base by offering a larger range of financial products and advice to more wealthy customers. This includes mutual funds, annuities, insurance products, and even financial planning courses. Although the bank just starts offering new financial products, the economic situation is making it hard for the bank to grow. In a recent decline in consumer confidence, investors are getting really concerned and uncertain about their investments. With a very wide range of investors, we need to clearly define a strategy that will incorporate future actions from the Federal Reserve and build back trust into the bank and its financial products. This strategy should help boost the confidence back into our investors and keep them to continue investing. ANALYZING THE DATA OF BANK OF GREEN By comparing the forecast of Bank of Green in 2006 and the past performance of the economy, it should help us develop future trends. Private Property and the Rule of the Middle Class in Aristotle s Politics In his discussions of constitutions and cities in Politics, Aristotle makes it very clear that his top priority is to provide people with the opportunity to pursue and achieve the good life. An integral part of this is the stability of the constitution. Although Aristotle explicitly states that a kingship is the best system of rule for any given generation, its lack of stability from one generation to the next disqualifies it from being the best in reality. The kingship, however, does not appear at the top of Aristotle s list of good constitutions constitutions that best allow its citizens to achieve the good life but rather on the bottom: constitutional government (polity), aristocracy, and then monarchy, in decreasing order of virtue. Aristotle explains this discrepancy by revealing that providing the citizens with a good life necessarily implies the need for stability. It remains to treat of the methods for preserving constitutions in general (V.8). A kingship may be the most virtuous constitutional type for any given generation, but it is extremely vulnerable to corruption from one generation to the next. If the kingship is accepted as the best form of government for cities, what is to be the position of the king s children? Are we to say that his descendants should also be kings? If they turn out as some of them have done, the result will be mischievous (III.15). The virtue of a kingship is based on the virtue of the king on one man. In result, Chaucer cleverly uses women to form their relationship strongly; to oppose the compulsory heterosexuality in his period. It s meant to resists pressure to be heterosexual (306). Sexuality, in Chaucer s attempt to satirically use two homosexual males to perform sex with two women, is ironically used, in this case, to show the immense power that John and Aleyn have in a heterosexual universe. Instead, it also incorporates issues such as the fanaticism of expertise, worldly humanism, the consumer culture as well as the consecration to Thursday Night Rugby among other illustrations. Analysis of the historical definition of religion, it has been found that the five core features of religion are also met by politics. For this reason, it is hard to distinguish religion from a policy. As pointed out by the arguments provided regarding religion as a source of conflict, absolutism leads to a scenario where religion is concerned with the ultimate objective (Esposito). This aspect is also true for politics. Similar to the understanding that religion is instrumental in developing communities; the same can be said of politics. Additionally, religion is connected to myths and representations. On the other hand, politics imitates this entreaty through the dedication to a national banner as well as the observation of war memorials (Esposito). Because it is difficult to distinguish religion from politics, it follows that it is tedious to support the arguments provided since they are clouded by the failure to distinguish religion from secular reality. The Use Of Steroids In Professional Sports Since the beginning of sports athletes have sought a way to get an advantage over their opponents; Whether it be in ancient rome using berries to give a sight stimulation during competition or today injecting steroids to shave that extra second off your run, the use of PED s are all over sports and are not leaving anytime soon. Steroid use in sports should be legalized because they will revolutionize the modern athlete, save thousands of money on drug tests, and no more athletes will lose their careers over doping scandals. Today the modern athletes are expected to perform at the top level in front of huge audiences, while most rise to the challenge some feel the need for an extra edge to top off their performances. • 34. Caitlyn Jenner Speech Analysis Communication is a process that allows us to construct identities based on the interpretation and intention of speech acts. Caitlyn Jenner, formerly known as Bruce Jenner, spent most her life identified by her master identity as a cis white male and until a few years ago she adopted the interactional identity of a transgender female. In this paper, I will demonstrate how various forms of speech acts build, remain and/or change the master and interactional identity of Caitlyn Jenner as well as her relationships to others. To do so I will explain how Caitlyn Jenner seeks advice from her close family member Scott Disick to help her understand the variety of speech acts coming from both her private and public life: ranging from Scott who demonstrate face redress and accept her based on her new interaction identity as a female, while also dealing with the face threats that come from those (particularly males) who only see her as her previous master identity as a male. To start, in lines 1 and 4 Caitlyn seeks to understand the perspective that guy s have on her transition, in both lines she draws out the word guy to emphasize her lack of understanding on how males think. She notes that she s struggled with it (male s perspective) even though contextually she had the master identity of a male the majority of her life, she has always struggled with the standards that come with that identity and that still remains. Therefore, she seeks the perspective of a close male in her family to provide her with that outlook. In contrast, Scott, who possess the master identity of a male and also accepts it as an interactional identity chooses to influx and draw out the word me in line 7 in his account that not every male will be comfortable with her change in identity because while he notes that he is comfortable with her change in line 24, he also draws out the word every to signify that he is inferring that male perspectives are not always homogenous and he does this by using an upward intonation of I to highlight the contrast which is prevalent through his tone change between both words. Additionally, in line 25, Caitlyn utilizes the example of Kris Humphries tweet that was an indirect face threat about her transition ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Due the fact that the war started, between 1998 and 2009 two regions formed called Puntland and Somaliland and the remaining motherland Somalia. I visited the capital of Somaliland Hargeisa. There I saw the results of the war, whole streets were destroyed, people were displaced, roads were dusty, countless housed destroyed and many houses made from clothes and paper bags stitched together covered the streets. I saw children who were surviving by themselves no family or friends only themselves. They would either survive on begging or looking in for garbage left on the streets. The sights that ... Social Issues In Canada Canada is a remarkable large diverse country with everything from big urban cities to a stable government.Cuba is the largest of the islands in the Caribbean sea, surrounded by many small islands, facing serious problems. These two countries are very different when put together along with the factors of their environments, social problems and their political issues as well. Canada and Cuba enjoy a broad and diverse relationship built on a long history of important and growing economic and commercial relations Environmental Physical Characteristics/Issues Both countries have many physical characteristics that are somewhat different yet alike. This eliminated the need for an exit visa, a document giving authorization to leave a particular country, which forced the Cuban residents to have permission to leave the island, as well as the reinforcement that if one leaves the country for a long time, they may not come back. This in effect for about five decades. Their president, Raul Castro had pledged to update their migration and soon, in 2016, President Barack Obama had stopped the rule and had allowed both U.S and Cuba to go to either of their countries as they wish. Another issue Cuba faces is poverty, in where at least 7 out of 10 Cubans live in poverty, In 2006, Cuba ranked 6th out of 102 countries on the human poverty index. Due to this, rations are given to the residents of Cuba because food has continued to be in short supply for the island, in which the rations allow each citizen to have a ration book, which allows them to buy only a certain amount of food supplies each week.Even with recent work to produce more food, there are just not enough farmlands available. The same is with it`s human rights,in where the Cuban government refuses to recognise human rights and denies legal status to human any human rights group. Government authorities also harass, assault and imprison human rights defenders who attempt to document abuses. Canada, on the other hand, Canada s aboriginals are treated very unfairly as they do not experience the rights that other Canadians receive. They experience poorer health due to unhealthy water and inadequate housing and crowding living spaces. Many Aboriginals live in poverty, same as Cubans, which will result in the country losing some money for the economy trying to help these ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
