Paul Rand is one of the most influential graphic designers of his time. He was
mainly self taught and held a position as a professor of Graphic Design at Yale
University. He designed many globally known logos for different companies such
as UPS, abc, and IBM. As well as these logos he also designed many famous posters
for the same or similar companies. He worked most often in corporate designs and
brought a new way of understanding this type of work.

The time when I received constructive criticism would be when I started my first
part time job. I work at a grocery store in my home, called Country Mart. When I
first started, I was not as fast as the other cashiers when it came to checking the
customers out. I was still learning how to work the register. I would also get caught

author uses various literary techniques to convey his mockery and careless attitude
towards the sinking of the ship.
In the first five stanzas, the author discusses the already submerged ship. ?Stilly
couches she,? describes the ship resting on the bottom of the ocean. The lines,

God was putting forth his plan. In stanza VII, the iceberg was sitting off in the
distance just waiting for the convergence. In stanza VIII, it describes the final
meeting between the two objects. As the ship grew closer and closer to the iceberg,
and also in its confidence, the iceberg was also growing in its confidence and
meaning. The ship thought that it was over God and didn?t need to worry about
anything, so God responded back with the fate of the objects to show that he had
more power than the ship, and to sort of show who?s ?boss?.
