Stopping for a few seconds to admire a flower, an insect, a phenomenon of nature, an architecture,
etc., in days full of worries, have become memorable. Also, all these seconds sent me every time
into a wonderful world, just like Confucius said, Everything has its beauty, but not everyone sees it
. The short films The Balloon directed by Martynas Zaremba and The Red Balloon directed by
Albert Lamorisse have the plot people s reaction for a few seconds at sight of a black balloon.
The Balloon film submits a series of reactions from various people in the city caused by a simple
black balloon with no intended meaning. The balloon starts to appear above the city one night
while people were sleeping. The Red Balloon , too shows an emotional story of friendship
between a boy called Pascal, and his red balloon. The writer and director Lamorisse succeeds
through fiction to combine reality, the wonder, and the magic of this friendship. In both short
films, the main focus is a floating balloon, but I believe that their differences are more striking
than their similarities. Both films The Balloon and The Red Balloon have a similar high point.
In my opinion The Balloon high point is that when the balloon appears on a street where a bad
boy with a knife in his hand is ready to commit an act of violence. The presence of the balloon in
that area stops the bad boy to commit it. Moreover, the bad boy looks his way to sky to admire
the balloon for a few seconds. Likewise, the balloon from Lamorisse s film avoid an act of
violence. For example, a gang of older kids chases Pascal around city, determined to steal and
destroy his balloon. The red balloon performs a miracle, it saves little Pascal from that chase. It
sacrifices itself and lets itself tortured with stones to save Pascal s life. Furthermore, the red

Introduction:
This experiment was conducted to find the genus and species of an unknown bacteria prescribed by
the lab teacher, which was unknown bacteria GA3 in my case. Identification of unknown bacteria
techniques are used on an every day basis to figure out what type of bacteria it is and to find the
best method of how to treat a patient with this bacteria (1). All five I s of Microbiology were used in
the testing for the unknown culture. Inoculation was used several times to put the unknown culture
into agar plates or into biochemical test tubes. After Inoculation of these tubes or plates, they always
were placed into the incubator for further growth and development. Isolation was used to make sure
we got the correct bacteria we were testing for. After each further isolation, we gram stained the
culture and inspected the culture under a microscope to further help in the identification process of
the unknown bacteria. Multiple tests were done on the unknown culture to make sure we were
confident in what kind of bacteria the unknown was. Many tests were completed on the unknown
such as gram staining and inspection under microscopes to find whether the bacterium is gram
positive or gram negative. Chemical resistance tests were also performed to see if certain

tons of it end up in landfills, at a cost of about $1.5 billion a year to local government this

maze test, coming in at 510 errors before success. Nevertheless, when you combine the results of

heavy muscled. I have personally worked with pigs and I find them to be incredibly fast learners

now experiencing mental health problems because of the things they have experienced. Most of
them have never seen a mental health care professional and the few that have are few and far
between. Until recently the mental health care of these individuals was not considered, but has

refugees is improving but still has a long way to go. There are many strides being made to treat
and care for their mental health but many still have not received treatment, and this must become a

Tossing, turning, and waking up three times before the sun knocks on my window is what my
sleep usually consists of. Not to mention the heat trying to strangle me as I wake up gasping for

Phones are the easiest and most common way to get connected. Through his art, Pawel Kuczynski
is warning the audience of problems that phones cause among people. The artist has created many
paintings to convey the idea of technology causing people to become separated and disconnected
