Abstract: Enzymes take care of catalysis in living organisms. They are used mainly
for commercial uses for example, to produce sugars. Throughout the experiment,
bacterial amylase, Bacillus lichenifomis, and fungal amylase, Aspergillus Oryzae,
were being tested in order to determine the optimal point of the temperature for the
respective amylase. The optimal temperature is the temperature at which the enzyme
works best. In order to determine the break down of starch, the mixing of amylase
with starch would occur. With the help of iodine as an indicator, it could be noted
which temperature was the optimum. The outcome showed that for the bacterial
amylase, hydrolysis worked best at 55 degrees Celsuis. As for the fungal amylase,
hydrolysis worked best at 25 degrees Celsius. As the temperature passed its optimal
point, the enzyme would denature or change shape,3 due to the change in the
environment. This can be seen with the color changes. Where hydrolysis worked
best, it had a bright yellow color as seen in Figure 1. When the enzyme would

In this assignment, I chose to discuss the creations of one of my favourite interior
designers, Zeynep Fadillioglu because I adore the way she fuses the Western and
Eastern traditions, designs and culture. As she is Turkish, her designs are a mixture
of our heritage, the Ottoman Empire, with the contemporary world today. I will use
my knowledge and combine it with research I have found online, in books and from
the press she has received by her wondrous architecture pieces.
Through my research, I have learnt that the materials typically used for a minbar in
a mosque is iron, as its easily carved to any shape or form. Furthermore, the colour

feel like not many people succeed when trying to combine these elements as it can
be very difficult to do. Although the interiors could look quite cluttered, she achieves

information such as usernames and passwords, credit card numbers, PINS, and other
sensitive information. In this case, the creator will send out a legitimate looking
email in disguise as any big and trustworthy company. The words phishingitself
sounds like fishing because of their similar concepts that is used. A bait is used in the
attempt to catch a victim like for fishing, fisherman will use worm as their bait to

The Major Sociological Theoretical Perspectives
The major social institution I choose to discuss through the lens of the three major
sociological theoretical perspectives of (1) structural functionalism, (2) symbolic
interactionism, and (3) conflict theory is religion. (1) Structural Functionalism:
Functionalists sees society as a system of parts that all serve a function. I think that
religionserves a few functions for society. First of all, religion creates this sort of
common ground for people to share creating this sense of solidarity amongst them.
Also, religion seems to work as a sort of incentive for people to do good in the world.
The ideas of religions (such as the idea of an afterlife) helps to put purpose into
