Overcoming Stage Fright Research Paper
Overcoming stage fright was very difficult. I always hated singing and dancing in front of people. As a
kid I like singing and dancing.I would could find myself when I signing it was amazing to express my
self through my voice. In the beginning I was afraid to sing and dance in front of people. One day at
school there was an announcement that there would be a school play. I got so excited about it that I
rushed to sign up. I realized that I would have to audition and that meant I would have to sing in front
of other people.I bolted to Mr.Llyod s room and asked him what I would need to not be so afraid. He
said to sing in front of my parents,it might make you fell more comfortable performing for others.
After hearing him say that I went home and looked up some more ways to help overcome my stage
fright. So through that period of time I found ways to relax myself with deep breathing and
meditation. I did this a couple of times during the day. Then after doing that I asked my parents to go
the living room so I could sing for them. Before I started, I began breath very deeply and smoothly
.Then someone came in and I got scared again.Soon after that person left,I started to sing and in that
moment my mind went wild.I was thinking they didn t like me singing and in an instantly I stop and
ran into my room. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

The Learning Disability of Auditory Processing Disorder
Auditory Processing Disorder (APD), also known as central auditory processing disorder (CAPD), is a
neurological defect that affects how the brain processes spoken language. It affects about 5% of school
aged children making it difficult for the child to process verbal instructions or to cancel out
background noise in the classroom. A child who has Auditory Processing Disorder may have the same
kind of behavioral problems as a child who has ADD, and also might be confused with Autism,
Asperger s, Language processing disorder, and Dyslexia. For children who suffer from APD, the
understanding of meanings, sound combination, and the categorical order of words are mistaken.
Behaviors of children who suffer from Auditory Processing Disorder may have trouble listening,
following directions, distracted by background noises, poor organization of verbal material, oral and
written expression problems, remembering what they hear, and learning to read. If parents think that
their child may have APD, they should seek help to an Audiologist. An Audiologist is a doctor who
diagnose and treats hearing and balance problems. They are trained to diagnose, manage and treat
hearing or balance problems for individuals from birth through adulthood. The Audiologist will
perform several tests on the child to determine if the child may have APD or not. There are four types
of tests, Hearing, Neurologic, Behavioral, and Dichotic. The first test will be a simple hearing test to
cancel out any

Stars and Nuclear Fusion Essay
A star is luminous point in the night sky that is a large, Indecent bodies like the sun. Stars are made up
of big exploding balls of gas, mostly hydrogen and helium. The sun is similarly a star made up of huge
amounts of hydrogen, undergoing a continuous nuclear reaction like a hydrogen bomb. Stars come
about when vast clouds of hydrogen, helium and dust contract and collapse due to gravity. The clouds
came from astronomical plasma from The Big Bang , but the dust comes from the supernovae of other
stars.
Since the beginning of recorded civilization, stars played a huge role in religion and proved vital to
routing. The invention of the telescope, the discovery of the laws of motion and gravity in the 17th
century prompted the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Main sequence stars like our own sun enduring in a state of nuclear fusion during which they will
produce energy for billions of years by replacing hydrogen to helium. Stars change over billions of
years. When their main sequence phase ends they pass through other states of existence according to
their size and other characteristics. The larger a star s mass, the shorter its lifespan is. As stars move
toward the end of their lives, much of their hydrogen will be converted to helium. Helium sinks to the
star s core and raises the star s temperature causing its outer shell to expand. These large, puffy stars
are known as Red Giants. The red giant phase is actually a prelude to a star shedding its outer layers
and becoming a small, dense body called a White Dwarf. White dwarfs cool down for billions and
billions of years, until they finally go dark and produce no energy at all. Once this happens, scientists
have yet to observe, such stars become known as Black Dwarfs. A few stars avoid this evolutionary
path and instead go out with a bang, exploding as Supernovae. These violent explosions leave behind
a small core that will then turn into something called a Neutron Star or even, if the remainder is large
enough, it is then turned into something called a Black Hole.
Most of us remember the lullaby Twinkle Twinkle Little Star . The truth behind it is that stars

Middle School Special Education Essay
One of the most major questions for educational advocates as regards middle school Special
Education students is whether and how much they are included in regular class. It is virtually
impossible to tell if this policy should be adopted in general: Current legislation supports the concept
of including students with disabilities in the general education classroom but leaves many wondering,
Is this approach working? Determining the effectiveness of this practice is a task not easily
accomplished. The term...is not found in any law and is used inconsistently..Inclusive programs differ
greatly from district to district... [A]mount and nature of support provided to the regular classroom
teacher differ dramatically from district to district (Hines, 2001). In general, the primary justification
for this reform approach is one of justice. Disability students should be in classes with their able
bodied peers: It s a form of de jure segregation based ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The reform to a more integrated classroom is a fact of life, for better or for worse, so it is the goal of
educators to find a way to make this new integrated classroom beneficial for both Special Education
and main track students (Hines, 2010). Curriculum design should be inclusive or differential based on
the real needs of local communities, not abstract political principles. A district that only has thirty
disability students among six hundred students could certainly afford to distribute Special Education
students among the classrooms; one with a hundred Special Education students in a two thousand
student middle school, on the other hand, might see a benefit at having separate classes due to the
disparate needs of such a wide student

Examples Of Allusion In Shrek
Allusions Another type of translation technique used in Shrek series by Wierzbięta is allusion, a
reference to a particular event, person, thing, piece of literature or art. For instance, the authors of
Shrek made allusions to a number of fairy tales, like Cinderella or Sleeping Beauty, that Polish
audience is also familiar with and for that reason they will be able to understand them and fully
appreciate their entertaining function. The allusion to the popular film productions, like Mission
Impossible or Baywatch are also noticeable in the whole series. The majority of such allusions in
Shrek is rooted in the visual rather than aural aspect of the film and in consequence, is not of translator
s concern. However, when it comes to the verbal ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Url Stands For Uniform Resource Locator
URL stands for Uniform Resource Locator, and is used to specify addresses on the World Wide Web.
A URL is the fundamental network identification for any resource connected to the web (e.g.,
hypertext pages, images, and sound files).
A common way to get to a Web site is to enter the URL of its home page file in your Web browser s
address line. However, any file within that Web site can also be specified with a URL. Such a file
might be any Web (HTML) page other than the home page, an image file, or a program such as a
common gateway interface application or Java applet. The URL contains the name of the protocol to
be used to access the file resource, a domain name that identifies a specific computer on the Internet,
and a pathname, a hierarchical description that specifies the location of a file in that computer.
URLs have the following format: protocol://hostname/other_information
The protocol specifies how information from the link is transferred. The protocol used for web
resources is (HTTP). Other protocols compatible with most web browsers include HTTPS, FTP, telnet,
newsgroups, and Gopher. The protocol is followed by a colon, two slashes, and then the domain name.
The domain name is the computer on which the resource is located. Links to particular files or
subdirectories may be further specified after the domain name. Directory names are separated by
single forward slashes
On the Web (which uses the Hypertext Transfer Protocol, or HTTP), an example of a URL is:

White Picket Fence Society
I believe in not planting trees. No, not in the sense which would deprive us from oxygen, rather to stop
planting trees to mask the image of industry. We mow them down and then plant them again. Not the
ones that naturally grow there, but those that come from a far away land in order to form the illusion
of the White Picket Fence Society , which is obviously a place that values diversity.
Our world is encompassed by trees. I live in a part of suburbia where it is required to have a tree in the
middle of your lawn: this is to enforce the uniformity all suburbs have. The end mission of this being
to have every individual conform to the idea of the perfect person and for them to become that idea.
Even though we keep on trying, man made houses won t ever blend in with nature. It s ironic though.
For us to all have the same houses. Covered in an absurd amount of costly vegetation. With the same

Kennewick Man Theory
The Americas comprises of North and South America with a current and ever growing population of
over seven hundred million people (Continent) with a vast array of different ethnic and cultural
backgrounds. From people walking south through ice free corridors into what is now considered the
United States of America to paddling through kelp highways down the south Alaskan shoreline to the
Americas by hugging the shoreline, the hypothesis of how the first peoples migrated to the Americas
varies. The Kennewick Man or otherwise referred to as the Ancient One by Native Americans
(Rasmussen) is one of the most complete prehistoric skeletons found, has led to significant scientific
breakthroughs, and have given humankind a peek at its past (Americas). ... Show more content on

Owsley theory on The Kennewick Man is based on the study of the skeleton and is an expert on
bones. According to Owsley, compared to Native Americans [The Kennewick Man] is a much
narrower and longer relatively longer cranium, and the way the base of the cranium is configured
(Joyce). The Americas in the series First People disputes this by explaining that how humans look
today greatly vary from our past because of our changed lifestyle. When humans wanted to make
something in the past, they had to remember how to create it and then make it with their own hands.
Today humans rely on the intelligence and innovation of society to make things for them. For
example, if humans today wanted shoes, they would buy them while the first peoples of the Americas
would have to make shoes themselves. In addition, the first peoples of the Americas needed to know
where to find food from different sources in their environment. In the past, people relied on a small
select group of people to provide everything they needed to survive and store that knowledge,
cultivated over generations, in their brains. From these lifestyle changes, the skulls and brain of
humans have shrunk from the first peoples of the Americas to people today (Americas). In conclusion,
Owsley conclusion based on the study of The Kennewick Man skull and body should be inconclusive
due to human evolution. The Kennewick Man can provide evidence for human evolution due to the
fact his DNA is closer to modern Native Americans than to any other population worldwide
(Rasmussen) and his skull differs greatly from Native Americans today

The Dining Halls At Virginia State University
Food plays an important role in our lives, especially in college. Food affects people financially,
nutritionally, and educationally. The dining halls at Virginia State University are a major source of
meals and food for students. Needless to say, it is important that those students can eat at these dining
halls. The problem with this is that the cost of campus dining is way too expensive for the limited
options we have.
At Virginia State University, students are paying $8,226 per year for their education, while they spend
$4,738 for the campus dining. That is basically half of the tuition! While most would hope if they
were paying almost the equivalent amount of their tuition on their meal plan, they would be receiving
a quality dining plan; however at Virginia State, that is not the case. There are limited choices at VSU;
usually only two places are open. If you choose not to eat at Jones dining hall or Foster, you are forced
to purchase meals off campus from Friday to Sunday night. This can become quite expensive for an
unemployed college student on a budget. It can be worse for those students who do not have
transportation. Another issue is the fact that many of the dining facilities are located on the main
campus, this makes it harder for students who live on the opposite side to have to walk across campus
for food. This limits our choices, even more, considering those who decline to take the long walk for
café food that isn t even satisfying.

The True Meaning Of Love In Love With My Best Friend
Whenever I was a junior in high school, I fell completely in love with my best friend. I know this
sounds cliche, but this experience lead to many lessons. I did not realize another human being could
have such an impact on my life. Love is crazy because it is unexpected and smacks you right in the
face. I did not realize this person would be my every thing for the next two years. I did not realize all
the lessons I learned and growing I did. I not only learned the true meaning of heartbreak, but the true
meaning of love and life. With this experience, I reached out to see how different people cope, what I
have learned, and how this shaped me into who I am. The craziest thing about love is that it is abstract.
You may love an object or person, but you can not grab love. I am not going to go on about my
relationship, but the after math. The intimate details do not matter to me anymore. After every thing
went down, I felt broken. I felt like nothing in my life was going to be okay again. Isn t it
unimaginable how something you can not even see makes you feel this way? I shut out every thing
around me and pushed people away. All because one person decided to give up when I did not want to.
Even after the horrible exchanges of words were tossed back and forth, I still did not want to give up. I
was hoping his love would be strong enough to realize how much I cared. But it did not. It did not
mean anything to that careless boy. I d rather walk barefoot across broken glass. Weeks

Pointing out that much of the volunteering that is done by millennials is not coming from within, but
is mostly attributed to the fact that colleges take community service into consideration for admission
and more high schools are making it a requirement for graduation. This is taking a small sample of the

authors of Will the Real Gen Y Please Stand Up , A healthy civic indicator is the boom in youth

adults from overdoses of heroin in 2011 (Wilson). The early deaths of these young people are

A Study On The Genome Wide Association Mapping Has Become...
Genome wide association mapping has become a popular way of quantitative trait locus (QTL)
identification for the majority of crop plants including wheat (Triticum aestivum L.). Its advantage
over classical bi parental mapping methods relies on the size of linkage disequilibrium in the mapping
population. The objectives of this study are to determine linkage disequilibrium decay rate and
population structure in a winter wheat population of 276 accessions which has been genotyped with
the ILLUMINA infinium 90k chip and to identify markers associated with yield and its components,
morphological, phenological, and drought tolerance related traits.
Wheat is the world s third most important food crop next to maize and rice, (Green et al., 2012). It
accounts for one fifth of total production among major cereal crops and provides 55 % of the
carbohydrates consumed by humans around the world (Bagge et al., 2007). However, wheat
productivity is threatened by both biotic and abiotic stresses and its potential yield is rarely achieved.
Crop resistance to both biotic and abiotic stresses, including drought has been successfully improved
by plant breeding through phenotypic selection (Cooper et al., 2009). However, there is a large yield
gap between drought prone areas and ideal production regions for most crops, including wheat.
Drought tolerance is a complex quantitative trait controlled by multiple genes (Mir et al., 2012). It is
also complicated by the fact that

Personal Narrative Essay On Gymnastics
My brain goes silent. I forget my problems, my issues, my struggles, and everything that makes me
feel dead inside. Nothing gives me more hope and happiness, then running on floor to hanging on a
bar. From the darkness inside comes a light that feels like an eternal flame that can never be
extinguished. Nothing can stop me from feeling more alive. Starting gymnastics has been the best
decision I have ever made and has made me the person I am today. With every move, every skill, and
every moment, gymnastics makes me feel alive.
Ever since I was six, I have been doing gymnastics. I started when I said to my mother I want to do
that with my high pitched little kid voice as I watched the gymnasts fly around the bar. My little sister
had started me on the path of gymnastics because, ironically my sister wanted to do gymnastics and I
never planned on it. As my mom parked the car, all I could see was this tall and large building made of

Using my old experience and old habits I had become just as good or even better than before. As I was
on the freshman team for gymnastics, I had brushed off the rustiness from the break that I had taken.
Even though the sport is as not tough and rough as club, I still felt the rush that I did before. As I take
the skills and lessons that I learned from club gymnastics, I still work just as hard and have just as
much fun. As freshman year continued, I started to remember the habits and the reasons why I loved
this sport. With a different coach and new teammates, I still felt at home. Jumping back onto the
equipment was like riding a bike, even though I was a little rusty at first, I will always remember what
was taught to me. Throughout freshman year I have improved and grown potential that I hope to apply
later in life and later in gymnastics. I push for new skills and moves every day, but most importantly

Social and Emotional Development
Child Development:
Social and Emotional Development
Child Development Social and Emotional Development
Introduction:
As we grow older we change; these changes are most visible during infancy and childhood. From
birth, babies grow larger and show noticeable development in both their social and intellectual
competence. The study of age related changes in human behaviour is referred to as developmental
psychology. Child development refers to the psychological and biological changes that occur in
individuals from birth to adolescence. By understanding child development, psychologists know what
to expect in infants and children at each developmental stage, and can therefore establish the
limitations in infant s and children s ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Additionally, it allows us to help infants and children deal with and work through any experiences that
they have had, because we can understand and acknowledge how the infant/child is feeling. However,
we are all individuals with individual personalities, and as such, we must remember that children will
develop in different ways and at different rates from each other. Below I will portray the age related
development in infants and children both socially and emotionally.
The following bullet points outline the stages of social development in children:
Infants (1 month):
Even newborn infants show social behaviours. They love to be touched, held, smiled at and cooed to.
At as young an age as one month old, infants can be seen to experiment with their faces and
expressions, and may even try to mimic adults facial gestures. Because their facial muscles are fully
developed at birth, they can make many expressions Newborns can smile slightly, knit their brows, or
appear to pout or cry, and if you give them something that tastes awful, they look disgusted (4).
Infants (3 months): At three months of age, infants will spend their time watching what is going on
around them. They will show their first real smile, perhaps accompanying it with some gurgling in an
attempt to start interacting with others, especially parents/guardians. Infants (4 months): At

Comparing Nietzsche And Freud On Crime And Punishment
Conception of civilization in Nietzsche and Freud in relation to crime and punishment Nietzsche
critiqued modern civilization since the entire scheme of modern society went against his philosophy.
Nietzsche was afraid modern society and religion would bring the individuals to nihilistic voids, as
they would eventually turn into uninteresting herds of controlled animals. Nietzsche wishes the
individuals to achieve self awareness, in that individuals would act upon themselves for what they
truly want, instead of following the social construct. This state of achieving the higher self was
defined as being the overman , which was achieved by redefining one s world, in a purely personal
manner. Thus in some sense, Nietzsche would agree that great men are criminals since they act in a
way that is not deemed good in society and stay true to what they desire. As Nietzsche states, A rebel
can be a miserable and contemptible man; but there is nothing contemptible in a revolt as such and to
be a rebel in view of contemporary society does not in itself lower the value of a man. There are even
cases in which one might have to honor a rebel, because he finds something in our society against
which war ought to be waged he awakens us from our slumber (The Will to Power, pg 391). However,
the state often suppresses these criminals from acting as the overman by demanding rules, which
create fear and guilt and prevent individuals from heightening oneself and also prevent

Global Warming And Its Impact On Our Earth
In many parts of the world, there are an abundance of factors that add to the destruction of our Earth.
These issues include air, water, and environmental problems that we, as a global society, contribute to
everyday. These concerns create major impacts that pertains to much of the globe and the world in
which we inhabit today, compared to the world we lived in 50 years ago. Frequent statements that
contribute to the overall thought of global warming include the following: how the community
supplies detrimental factors to the Earth to cause global warming, and how can the community
contribute to the repair of our vanishing Earth. Global warming is a serious issue facing everyone on
our Earth. There are ways to decrease this threat, but if they are not implemented soon, there will be
irrevocable consequences to our Earth. This topic needs to be addressed immediately in order to
preserve what we have left of our Earth.
Global warming is the gradual heating of Earth s surface, oceans and atmosphere (Bradford). This
issue has been a constant worry around the world for as long as the world has been around, along with
humans occupying it. Many people tend to believe that global warming is an issue that cannot be
solved. However, this is a false accusation about the overall health and condition of our world, due to
how society views global warming. Global warming affects our entire world. Air, water, and

Iciologist Charles Cooley Idea Of The Looking Glass Self
Kids are invincible, they believe that they can do anything in the world. The reason kids are like this
and adults are not is because kids have never been told that they cannot do something. That is why
kids run around saying their going to be the president of the United States, because no one has ever
crushed their dreams yet. When you grow up you begin to see whats realistic for oneself and what is
not. Other people shape our perception of ourselves and what we think we can accomplish. As people
grow from being a baby, to an adolescence, to an adult they see how others treat them and form a self
image based on what they think others think of his or hers behaviors and appearance. This is known as
sociologist Charles Cooley idea of the Looking Glass Self. A persons looking glass self develops
throughout their life time and shapes based on their social interactions and context of what others
think of them. While ages one to five kids are only surrounded by their primary group. Kids
imaginations can run wild and this allows them to believe that anything is possible. All kids are the
same therefore, the social interactions of kids don t shape their self image until they are older. Unless
kids have bad home lives they think they are the best think ever. But as kids begin to grow and go to
elementary school they become more self conscious. They feel if they dress nicely others will like
them more. This is when we start imagining what we think others think of us. What we

Question 1:
What is the normal process flow of the production system at Donner? Draw a process flow diagram.
Question 2:
What orders would you schedule on the CNC drill? On CNC router?
Operation Setup Time (min) Run Time/board
Manual Drill 15 0.08*500 = 40
CNC Drill 240 0.004*500 = 2
Punch Press 50 1
CNC Router 150 0.5
a) CNC Drill vs Manual Drill
Let x be order size than –
15 + 40x = 240 + 2x; x = 5.92;
From this equation we get x approximately equal to 6. So Donner Company should use the CNC Drill
for orders of more than or equal to 6 boards. The Manual Drill process should be used for all orders of
less than 6 boards. This is because production time for CNC is less than manual for order size of ...

that net profit before taxes decreased considerably from $14,800 in August of 1987 to $3,100 in
September of the same year. Also net sales and gross profit margin decreased in this period. All this
can be attributed to huge inefficiencies that exist in the manufacturing processes of Donner.
Major issues are –
• Poor Quality Items returned by customers increased from 1% to 3%. One tenth of the boards
returned to the Donner Company were damaged or out of tolerance while the rest were returned due to
the company not completing one or two different required operations.
• Process Flow One of Donner s major problems lies in their process flow. There are many
bottlenecks and employee downtime which arise from poor process flow setup and unforeseen

• Low Productivity – For example Plater spent 15% of her time walking between her desk and the
plating tank. Also, plating and etching processes were located far form the machining operation.
• Late Deliveries In 1987, Donner was faced with problems in meeting delivery schedules and

These traits assist them in fitting in as a pat of society and the community rather successfully. The

Formal Analysis Paper
The purpose of this paper is the study of formality and informality in letters. Throughout this analysis
we get the idea of how language works in different contexts. In order to carry on this research I will
explain the main features that make a text formal or informal depending on certain aspects.
So as to complete this research I have required a collection of several letters, four exactly, in order to
see the different features that each text presents; Using less number of texts would have been
problematic because I would not have enough data to show clearly the differences. The letter of
apology is taken from the Archdiocese of Washington and is addressed to a parishioner; the letter of
complaint is taken from the co founder and executive director of Stop Animal Exploitation Company
which is addressed to Dr Gibbens the director of USDA/APHIS/AC (United State Department of
Agriculture; Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service and Animal Care respectively) against the
University of Nevada, Reno facility. Finally The formal letters are taken from two people who posted
their private letters in a website. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

difference between formal and informal letter is that each one serve a different goal: a formal letter is

Women And Hysteria In Jane Eyre
The first manifestation that will be examined in this chapter is hysteria. While there existed different
forms of hysteria, this section of the chapter will focus on the aspect that it was considered a disease
that affected women more than men due to their weakness and susceptibility to emotions. Several
publications were written about women and hysteria, or they were written geared toward women about
dealing with hysteria. Women were viewed as unable to control their bodies, being described as the
feebler sex and meek. Inasmuch, when struck with a hysterical paroxysm a medical term for an attack
or episode they were rendered helpless. As stated by Robert Brudenell Carter, a nineteenth century
physician and ophthalmic surgeon, based on the research conducted during this time, it was decided
that there were satisfactory reason[s] for the greater proclivity of the female sex to hysteria, and also
for the absolute rarity of its occurrence in man. Furthermore, even though hysteria affected both males
and females, in the nineteenth century it was seen as an illness that was prone to the female sex. This
view flooded into society and thus created the many public debates on the discourse of the illness,
along with the literary responses such as Jane Eyre.
With hysteria being a manifestation of mental illness, it also experienced multiple terms and
definitions. Only a few of these terms and definitions will be examined in this section; however, they

load routines, the loader, NTSVCHOST.EXE, first attempted to connect to legitimate Microsoft
domains (update.microsoft.com, www.microsoft.com, and support.microsoft.com) to determine if the
victim computer was able to route to the internet. If the infected computer was not online, the loader
would not decrypt the backdoor, NTLHAFD.GCP. When online, the loader would execute the
decryption and memory load routines, and the backdoor would communicate periodically with the
designated Command and Control server. From an antivirus perspective, the backdoor that was on
disk was encrypted, and the more nefarious code was only in its unencrypted form while in memory.
In order to reverse engineer the malware, it required either connecting to the internet or tricking the
malware into believing it was on the internet.

It seems that any person who carries some sort of characteristic of a hero goes through varies trails in
life. Whether if those trails are driving a man or women into something greater or realizing that they

Consumable survival must increase, in fact, because it continues to enshrine deprivation. The reason
there is nothing beyond augmented survival, and no end to its growth, is that survival itself belongs to
the realm of dispossession: it may gild poverty, but it cannot transcend it (Debord, 30). This explains
that the people are consumers of illusions; it blindsides the people from reality and only allows them
to only be aware of what society or social media wants them to know.
In Michel Foucault s, Power/ Knowledge , there are two chapters titled Truth and Power and The Eye
of the Power . Foucault s conception of power is that power is everywhere. Everyone has power and
has the ability to make use of their power, but often times citizens don t make use of their power. It
seems that they are in fear of those who enforce their power already, which prevents them to make use
of their power. An everyday individual sees power to be in the hands of who the people have chosen .
We should not always think about power as the private property of government or state, but rather as
an equal common ground for all of those who share the land. It is not the state that doesn t matter, but
the power is bigger than the state; although the state has power, it does not have all power. A

The Is A Mobile Messaging App For Sending Text, Voice, And...
Known in Chinese as Weixin, micro message, WeChat is a mobile messaging app for sending text,
voice, and photos to friends and family. It was launched just 4 years ago by Chinese investment
holding company Tencent, one of the largest internet companies in the world. As of earlier this year,
WeChat had more than 500 million monthly active users among over one billion registered users,
almost all of them in Asia.
WeChat quickly gains popularity due to its features and appearance. It allows users to easily connect
with family and friends by providing text messaging, video call, hold to talk voice messaging, group
messaging, sharing of photographs and videos, and location sharing. Compared to some other
duplicate apps such as WhatsApp, WeChat has more features that allow users get to know more
friends via Drift Bottle, Shake , and Look Around. This app is free and is available on many phones,
and it requires user to have it installed on a phone in order to use it.
Below, we highlight nine of WeChat s features that keep the user base strong.
1. Video Call. It allows users to make face to face video calls. The process is just like dialing your
contact in your cell phone s contact book.
2. Voice Message. It can simplify your chat messages. If you are spending hours drafting a long text
message, think about sending a WeChat voice message instead. You just need to hold to talk. In such
way, WeChat turns your smartphone into a walkie talkie. You can use that feature under the

Bikini Atoll Nuclear Test
I decided i wanted to check up on bikini atoll and see how the island and former people are doing
today. I found an article called Bikini Atoll nuclear test:60 years later and island still unlivable. and
decided to pull a couple of interesting paragraphs and paste them below. To answer some of the
questions i asked myself the day i watched the documentary.
The Marshall Islands are marking 60 years since the devastating US hydrogen bomb test at Bikini
Atoll, with exiled islanders saying they are too fearful to ever go back because of nuclear
contamination.
Part of the intense cold war nuclear arms race, the 15 megatonne Bravo test on 1 March 1954 was a
thousand times more powerful than the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima. It exposed thousands

Moneyball Analysis Case Study on the Use of Business Analytics Framework
Dheeraj Dwivedi
School of Professional Studies, Northwestern University, Spring 2016, Section 58 Moneyball Movie
Analysis Case Study on the Use of Business Analytics Framework Moneyball movie is about the war
between intuition and statistics. I would start my analysis with one of the many interesting quotes in
the movie. The problem we re trying to solve is that there are rich teams and there are poor teams, then
there s 50 feet of crap, and then there s us. It s an unfair game. And now we ve been gutted. We re like
organ donors for the rich. Boston s taken our kidneys, Yankees have taken our heart. And you guys sit
around talking the same old good body nonsense like we re selling jeans. Like we re looking for
Fabio. We got to think differently. We are the last dog at the bowl. You see what happens to the runt of
the litter? He dies. (Moneyball movie, 2011)
This movie centers on the character of Billy Beane, general manager of Major League Baseball s
Oakland Athletics. In the movie, Billy couldn t re sign Oakland s best 3 players after the 2001 season
due to having a payroll a fraction of A s competitors. He was facing a challenge of building a new
team with a limited payroll and to accomplish this he needs to have a competitive strategy. While
restructuring the team, he meets heavy resistance from his scouts, who argue that their years of

Analysis Of Knights Chivalric Code In Monty Python
The medieval era was one full of strict codes and guidlines on how one should live and behave, among
these are the Bible, and most importantly knights chivalric code. It was this that a knight valued above
all other things, a knight was expected to rather die than be called a coward. This code is heavily
satirized in Monty Python. In the film many characteristics of a knight are exaggerated and pointed
fun at in various situations.
A knight above all things must be honorable and courteous. It is seen in Monty Python that whatever
possibly bizarre situation King Arthur gets himself in the very first reaction he has is to be courteous
and continuing politely with his question or point made where he eventually loses and gives up on
being courteous after being antaganized for why he bangs his coconuts together or when requested to
cut down a tree with a herring or why he is currently King of Britain. In the first scene we see him
very strangely act as though he is on a horse while he has his servant carry all his belongings and bang
coconuts together for the sound effect, it seems as though only the knights of the round table do this
because we see Roger the Shrubber ride on a carraige drawn by horses so it is not unlike there is a
scarcity of horses but rather the knights choose to do so!
A knight also is expected to be brave and heroic and outstanding, this is counteredby each knights
behaviors. First they choose to act as though they ride horses instead of buying them,

The Stock Market And Stock Exchange
This paper will encompass the importance of the U.S stock market/stock exchange versus the Chinese
stock market/ stock exchange, with a brief introduction about how each stock market/stock exchange
came into existence, the importance of each stock market/stock exchange, how the U.S and Chinese
manage their stock markets/stock exchange, how corporations are appointed plus the rules and
regulations. This will also entail random facts about each stock market/stock exchange. Stock markets
are like hitting a royal flush, if the price of your stocks goes up, you win; if it drops, you lose! The
stock market, also known as the fairness market, is one in which shares are owned by companies and
their shareholders. The companies that are on the stock market, its stocks are issued and traded
publicly, through either exchanges or over the counter markets. The stock market is considered to be
one of the most critical components of a gratuitous market economy that provides companies with
access to dominance in exchange for giving investor s the opportunity to have some type of possession
of the company. The stock market gives those the power to invest monies, and to capitalize on their
gains. This in return can bring about wealth to some without having to take a financial risk in starting
up a new business.
The U.S stock market came into existence on May 17, 1792 followed by the stock exchange coming
into existence on March 8, 1817, at Wall Street, lower Manhattan, New York City, New

The Large Bathers Essay
Paul Cézanne was an Impressionist painter that helped bridge the gap between Impressionism and
Cubism. Both Henri Matisse and Pablo Picasso said he was The father to us all .(Paul Cézanne, 2016)
Both artists took inspiration from the Cézanne s painting The Large Bathers and made paintings of
their own from the ideas Cézanne started.
The Large Bathers show us a scene of women bathing in a river. The colors we see are mostly blue
with some browns and greens mixed in. It s thought that this painting was unfinished as Cézanne died
in 1906, and you can see some of the figures in the bottom right seem incomplete. Matisse took the
idea of bathing women but added his own signature color schemes. In Bonheur de Vivre he used
bright primary colors to pull focus to the figures, while Cézanne used perspective to bring focus.
Matisse s painting lacks any normal perspective, figures appear next to ... Show more content on

Les Demoiselles d Avignon was painted in 1907 and translates to The Young Ladies of Avignon, a
brothel. He returned to Cézanne s color palette with browns and blues to tone down the joy that is in
Matisse s painting. And he made the women the main focus by closing them in by the world around
them. While Matisse used open space, Picasso made the background come to the foreground with no
perspective being used at all, this makes the painting look flat and the ladies become the focus. The
figures are also very angular and do not show off a sensual human body like Matisse does. The figures
on the right have very odd looking faces, which Picasso was pulling from African art. (Harris Zucker,
n.d.) So Picasso was incorporating even more influences into a reaction of other paintings. Matisse
and Picasso were both pushing each other into new territory in the art world.(Harris Zucker, n.d. 2) By
trying to upstage each other the art became more and more different than the accepted art at the

As a kid I like singing and dancing.I would could find myself when I signing it was amazing to express my self through my voice. In the beginning I was afraid to sing and dance in front of people. One day at school there was an announcement that there would be a school play. I got so excited about it that I rushed to sign up. I realized that I would have to audition and that meant I would have to sing in front of other people.I bolted to Mr.Llyod s room and asked him what I would need to not be so afraid. He said to sing in front of my parents,it might make you fell more comfortable performing for others. After hearing him say that I went home and looked up some more ways to help overcome my stage fright. So through that period of time I found ways to relax myself with deep breathing and meditation. I did this a couple of times during the day. Then after doing that I asked my parents to go the living room so I could sing for them. Before I started, I began breath very deeply and smoothly .Then someone came in and I got scared again.Soon after that person left,I started to sing and in that moment my mind went wild.I was thinking they didn t like me singing and in an instantly I stop and ran into my room. ... • 3. The Learning Disability of Auditory Processing Disorder Auditory Processing Disorder (APD), also known as central auditory processing disorder (CAPD), is a neurological defect that affects how the brain processes spoken language. It affects about 5% of school aged children making it difficult for the child to process verbal instructions or to cancel out background noise in the classroom. A child who has Auditory Processing Disorder may have the same kind of behavioral problems as a child who has ADD, and also might be confused with Autism, Asperger s, Language processing disorder, and Dyslexia. For children who suffer from APD, the understanding of meanings, sound combination, and the categorical order of words are mistaken. Behaviors of children who suffer from Auditory Processing Disorder may have trouble listening, following directions, distracted by background noises, poor organization of verbal material, oral and written expression problems, remembering what they hear, and learning to read. If parents think that their child may have APD, they should seek help to an Audiologist. An Audiologist is a doctor who diagnose and treats hearing and balance problems. They are trained to diagnose, manage and treat hearing or balance problems for individuals from birth through adulthood. The Audiologist will perform several tests on the child to determine if the child may have APD or not. There are four types of tests, Hearing, Neurologic, Behavioral, and Dichotic. Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The sun is similarly a star made up of huge amounts of hydrogen, undergoing a continuous nuclear reaction like a hydrogen bomb. Stars come about when vast clouds of hydrogen, helium and dust contract and collapse due to gravity. The clouds came from astronomical plasma from The Big Bang , but the dust comes from the supernovae of other stars. Main sequence stars like our own sun enduring in a state of nuclear fusion during which they will produce energy for billions of years by replacing hydrogen to helium. Stars change over billions of years. When their main sequence phase ends they pass through other states of existence according to their size and other characteristics. The larger a star s mass, the shorter its lifespan is. As stars move toward the end of their lives, much of their hydrogen will be converted to helium. Helium sinks to the star s core and raises the star s temperature causing its outer shell to expand. These large, puffy stars are known as Red Giants. The red giant phase is actually a prelude to a star shedding its outer layers and becoming a small, dense body called a White Dwarf. White dwarfs cool down for billions and billions of years, until they finally go dark and produce no energy at all. Once this happens, scientists have yet to observe, such stars become known as Black Dwarfs. A few stars avoid this evolutionary path and instead go out with a bang, exploding as Supernovae. These violent explosions leave behind a small core that will then turn into something called a Neutron Star or even, if the remainder is large enough, it is then turned into something called a Black Hole. Middle School Special Education Essay One of the most major questions for educational advocates as regards middle school Special Education students is whether and how much they are included in regular class. It is virtually impossible to tell if this policy should be adopted in general: Current legislation supports the concept of including students with disabilities in the general education classroom but leaves many wondering, Is this approach working? Determining the effectiveness of this practice is a task not easily accomplished. [A]mount and nature of support provided to the regular classroom teacher differ dramatically from district to district (Hines, 2001). A URL is the fundamental network identification for any resource connected to the web (e.g., hypertext pages, images, and sound files). A common way to get to a Web site is to enter the URL of its home page file in your Web browser s address line. However, any file within that Web site can also be specified with a URL. Such a file might be any Web (HTML) page other than the home page, an image file, or a program such as a common gateway interface application or Java applet. The URL contains the name of the protocol to be used to access the file resource, a domain name that identifies a specific computer on the Internet, and a pathname, a hierarchical description that specifies the location of a file in that computer. URLs have the following format: protocol://hostname/other_information The protocol specifies how information from the link is transferred. The protocol used for web resources is (HTTP). Other protocols compatible with most web browsers include HTTPS, FTP, telnet, newsgroups, and Gopher. The protocol is followed by a colon, two slashes, and then the domain name. The Americas in the series First People disputes this by explaining that how humans look today greatly vary from our past because of our changed lifestyle. When humans wanted to make something in the past, they had to remember how to create it and then make it with their own hands. Today humans rely on the intelligence and innovation of society to make things for them. For example, if humans today wanted shoes, they would buy them while the first peoples of the Americas would have to make shoes themselves. In addition, the first peoples of the Americas needed to know where to find food from different sources in their environment. In the past, people relied on a small select group of people to provide everything they needed to survive and store that knowledge, cultivated over generations, in their brains. From these lifestyle changes, the skulls and brain of humans have shrunk from the first peoples of the Americas to people today (Americas). In conclusion, Owsley conclusion based on the study of The Kennewick Man skull and body should be inconclusive due to human evolution. • 11. The Dining Halls At Virginia State University Food plays an important role in our lives, especially in college. Food affects people financially, nutritionally, and educationally. The dining halls at Virginia State University are a major source of meals and food for students. Needless to say, it is important that those students can eat at these dining halls. The problem with this is that the cost of campus dining is way too expensive for the limited options we have. At Virginia State University, students are paying $8,226 per year for their education, while they spend $4,738 for the campus dining. That is basically half of the tuition! While most would hope if they were paying almost the equivalent amount of their tuition on their meal plan, they would be receiving a quality dining plan; however at Virginia State, that is not the case. There are limited choices at VSU; usually only two places are open. If you choose not to eat at Jones dining hall or Foster, you are forced to purchase meals off campus from Friday to Sunday night. This can become quite expensive for an unemployed college student on a budget. It can be worse for those students who do not have transportation. Another issue is the fact that many of the dining facilities are located on the main campus, this makes it harder for students who live on the opposite side to have to walk across campus for food. This limits our choices, even more, considering those who decline to take the long walk for café food that isn t even satisfying. The United States ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 18. A Study On The Genome Wide Association Mapping Has Become... Genome wide association mapping has become a popular way of quantitative trait locus (QTL) identification for the majority of crop plants including wheat (Triticum aestivum L.). Its advantage over classical bi parental mapping methods relies on the size of linkage disequilibrium in the mapping population. The objectives of this study are to determine linkage disequilibrium decay rate and population structure in a winter wheat population of 276 accessions which has been genotyped with the ILLUMINA infinium 90k chip and to identify markers associated with yield and its components, morphological, phenological, and drought tolerance related traits. Wheat is the world s third most important food crop next to maize and rice, (Green et al., 2012). It accounts for one fifth of total production among major cereal crops and provides 55 % of the carbohydrates consumed by humans around the world (Bagge et al., 2007). However, wheat productivity is threatened by both biotic and abiotic stresses and its potential yield is rarely achieved. Crop resistance to both biotic and abiotic stresses, including drought has been successfully improved by plant breeding through phenotypic selection (Cooper et al., 2009). • 24. Comparing Nietzsche And Freud On Crime And Punishment Conception of civilization in Nietzsche and Freud in relation to crime and punishment Nietzsche critiqued modern civilization since the entire scheme of modern society went against his philosophy. Nietzsche was afraid modern society and religion would bring the individuals to nihilistic voids, as they would eventually turn into uninteresting herds of controlled animals. Nietzsche wishes the individuals to achieve self awareness, in that individuals would act upon themselves for what they truly want, instead of following the social construct. This state of achieving the higher self was defined as being the overman , which was achieved by redefining one s world, in a purely personal manner. Thus in some sense, Nietzsche would agree that great men are criminals since they act in a way that is not deemed good in society and stay true to what they desire. As Nietzsche states, A rebel can be a miserable and contemptible man; but there is nothing contemptible in a revolt as such and to be a rebel in view of contemporary society does not in itself lower the value of a man. There are even cases in which one might have to honor a rebel, because he finds something in our society against which war ought to be waged he awakens us from our slumber (The Will to Power, pg 391). However, the state often suppresses these criminals from acting as the overman by demanding rules, which create fear and guilt and prevent individuals from heightening oneself and also prevent ... In order to carry on this research I will explain the main features that make a text formal or informal depending on certain aspects. So as to complete this research I have required a collection of several letters, four exactly, in order to see the different features that each text presents; Using less number of texts would have been problematic because I would not have enough data to show clearly the differences. The letter of apology is taken from the Archdiocese of Washington and is addressed to a parishioner; the letter of complaint is taken from the co founder and executive director of Stop Animal Exploitation Company which is addressed to Dr Gibbens the director of USDA/APHIS/AC (United State Department of Agriculture; Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service and Animal Care respectively) against the University of Nevada, Reno facility. Furthermore, even though hysteria affected both males and females, in the nineteenth century it was seen as an illness that was prone to the female sex. This view flooded into society and thus created the many public debates on the discourse of the illness, along with the literary responses such as Jane Eyre. With hysteria being a manifestation of mental illness, it also experienced multiple terms and definitions. This explains that the people are consumers of illusions; it blindsides the people from reality and only allows them to only be aware of what society or social media wants them to know.
