The -for and Against Argument with Regards to Innate and...
Q.1 In your own words, detail the for and against argument with regards to innate and learned
behaviour. Feel free to include your own opinion, but be sure to justify it. Try to include an equal
amount of information for the both sides. Use at least 500 words for your answer. For many years
psychologists have been researching behaviour patterns from birth. This is where the Nature vs
Nurture debate begins. Nativists believe that humans are born with various skills needed to survive,
where as Empircist believe that humans acquire all or almost of all their behavioural traits from
nurture . Some behaviours are innate, unlearned and instinctive. From the moment we are born there
are instinctive motions that we do. An example of this ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
We were both encouraged to breast feed and having had daughters only a few months apart we shared
the experience for a short period of time. My sister struggled, with my niece unable to latch onto her
for several weeks. Feeding time soon became a very traumatic experience for both parties, however
my daughter and I had a completely different experience. From the first feed we had success, it
continued that way for many months. Later my sister learnt that her daughter had had colic , which is a
condition in which an otherwise healthy baby cries or displays symptoms of distress frequently and for
extended periods of time, without any discernible cause. With this information in mind, it left me
wondering whether it in fact took my niece a longer period of time to learn how to breast feed, or if
the natural motion was there but her colic condition prevented this from happening. Nurture,
historically was referred to as the care given to children by their parents, with a mothers role being of
particular importance. This term is now regarded as any environmental factor including external
family, their peers, as well as extending influences such as media. BINNS (1965) demonstrated this
experimentally. He studied babies less than 5 days old and found clear differences in a babies
reactions to being suddenly disturbed. [ref1] (Ahrens 1954), stated that from the 2nd to the 7th month

Ocean At The End Of Lane Analysis
The 1960 s was a decade of change but it was also a period in which a number of magical films and
books were created. Magical film and books are the art of producing a desired effect or various other
techniques that presumably assure human control of supernatural agencies or the forces of nature.
These types of films and books had been well received on that period. There are many magical books
that covered 60 s people and the Ocean at the End of Lane by Neil Gaiman was one of the famous
book that weren t forgotten by the people. Although the book s setting was in the 60 s period but the
book was originally published on 18 June 2013. The book not only attracted the young network but
also many old people. This is because throughout the book there ... Show more content on

So, gender lens also is something related to the biological references. Gender lens referred to the
amount of rights of either a male or female in the society. Based on the gender lens, gender
stereotypes is an over generalizations about the characteristics of an entire group based on gender. In
the Ocean at the End of Lane and the Bridge to Terabithia, gender stereotypes are reinforced through
the depiction of the main characters by the authors to strengthen the plot and make it similar to the
today s society. Throughout the Ocean at the End of Lane and the Bridge to Terabithia, the authors
portrayed the women as much stronger than the men. For example in the Ocean at the End of Lane,
Lettie Hempstock held the narrator tightly tightly. Don t worry, she whispered, and I was going to say
something, to ask why I shouldn t worry, what I had to be afraid of, when the field we were standing
in began to glow is the line that shows the strength of Lettie throughout the novel. In this scene, Lettie
came to save the narrator from the Ursula Monkton. This proved that the Lettie strong enough to stand
against a magical creature which was the Ursula Monkton. Not only that, in the Bridge to Terabithia,
Paterson also reinforced the gender stereotypes through the depiction of Leslie. How did that race go?

Essay On Student Athletes Should Be Paid
College sports are everywhere in today s world. Turn on ESPN and you will be surrounded hearing
about Jay Bilas final four predictions or possibly Jon Gruden s Heisman candidates. College sports
have turned into a multi billion dollar industry with consistent growth. Despite of the fast growing
business, the NCAA remains non profit and labels the players student athletes to mark them amateur.
With this label, athletes are recognized as student first and athlete second. Scholastics are supposed to
be prioritized over athletics, however with the growing industry the lines are being blurred. The
NCAA is considered to be an amateur league, however, groups of people are pushing for players to
become paid due to the high revenue. While one ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Ed O Bannon, a previous UCLA basketball player filed a case looking to sue the NCAA for licensing
players without consent. The NCAA marks their players as amateurs, therefore, they do not allow
paying players. However after the ruling, the NCAA was found to be violating antitrust laws, which
could potentially change the model of the system (Maese). Judge Claudia Wilken ruled an injunction
that schools in the NCAA would be allowed to provide players a trust fund in order to compensate
players for using their names in broadcasting, merchandise or imaging. In 2016, this trust fund will
allow universities to conduct bidding wars for future recruits (Strauss, Tracy). This of course, would
be able to be capped at a certain mark and would not be payable until after the departure of a student
athlete s time at a college or the end of their eligibility (Berkowitz) This court case could potentially
change the way college sports are run.
Marc Edelman, a writer for forbes.com, argues his point in 21 Reasons Why Student Athletes Are
Employees And Should Be Allowed To Unionize is for the movement to pay players. Edelman focuses
his point on NCAA programs being large revenue businesses and in his opinion should consider
student athletes as employees. With this, he explains that student athletes have to work an average of
43.3 hours a week and oftentimes forced to miss class due to NCAA playoff scheduling (Edelman).

The Rise Of China, Alternative Energy, And The Future Of...
The Rise of China, Alternative Energy, and the Future of Global Currency
American hegemony began with a unique economic market. The unregulated version of capitalism
employed and protected by the United States Government (USG) was developed by individual
entrepreneurs operating in the freest market in the world. They innovated petroleum refining and
business practices that are still supporting U.S. global monetary control and financial power today.
Now that humanity is making a shift away from petroleum, the same market practices used by the oil
barons of 19th century America are being applied by the solar barons of China, and the rise of a new
global hegemon is apparent, or at least widely considered possible. As global change continues to
threaten the consumption of the petroleum that keeps the U.S. in power, and the dollar that is backed
by petroleum trade, the rise of China as a provider of alternative energy and currency will soon force
the U.S. to either share its position of global leadership or compromise the peace that has been
maintained by its uncontested seat of power. Still, mutually advantageous foreign policy can be put
into place to create a duplistic monopoly of force that will maintain global stability. For the last 70
years, the U.S. dollar has been virtually unchallenged in international finance. While critics point out
that the U.S. has used its leverage to maintain a system that they call unfair, the Hegemonic Strategic

The Second Treatise Of Government
In the Second Treatise of Government, Locke explains human beings right of private property as a
natural, enforceable right that men are granted with in the state of Nature as part of his larger
justification of the replacement of the state of Nature by civil governments. The basis of Locke s
interpretation of such right comes from God s ownership of what God creates, including both human
beings and worldly resources. While human beings ownerships of their bodies are granted directly
through God, Locke laid out 3 main conditions to be sufficed in order to justify private appropriations
of worldly resources. This paper will examine Locke s premises regarding the state of Nature and his
explanations of these conditions, compare them with Rousseau s version of requirements for private
holdings in The Social Contract, and at the same time discuss whether each condition for private
appropriation is sufficient in his effort of justifying unlimited properties.
To begin with, Locke believes that at the state of nature, human beings are given the right of
properties, and private appropriations can occur as long as they fulfill three main criteria. Such
assumption allows Locke to discuss private properties without the interference of other parties,
including civil governments. According to Locke, human beings and their private properties are
protected by nature as God s will to expect human beings to thrive and to develop, also driven by
human beings natural rights of living and

To What Extent Does Tax Evasion Affect the Society
To what extent does tax evasion affect the society?
Word counts: 1510 words
Introduction:
The importance of the revenue to a country is well known in the world. The global financial system
has more interconnections now than at any other time in history. (Simser.J, 2008, p.131). Tax evasion
is one of most common crimes that damage the order of revenue. This is closely affecting the market
economy and daily lives. Normally, most commentators consider tax evasion profoundly unethical.
There are some ambiguities regarding the meaning of the very word taxation that must be addressed. It
is maintained that the meaning of taxation depends neither on the agents who collect it, nor on their
objectives. (Bagus, Block, Eabrasu, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
However, from some survey data, tax evasion has a negative correlation with GDP, this means that the
scale of tax evasion has disadvantageous influence to the GDP. Investigating its reason, it is mainly
because the income by enterprise and individual tax evasion which does not all through the legal ways
of investment and consumption, there is a big part of the capital flight. In addition, some investments
and spend of consumers are illegal. Therefore, on the whole, no matter from the view of current or in
the future, tax evasion can be viewed as a negative influence on the national economy. The
government should do some positive macro controls to the economic phenomenon, and resolutely
crack down on the behavior of tax evasion.
Body 2:
Tax evasion may affect the income distribution. Tax is an important function of adjusting income
distribution, which makes social income distribution trend to fair, tax evasion make this function,
cannot be fully realized. All kinds of tax evasion are through the way of reducing the financial income
to increase the disposable income of taxpayer. It is proposed that, the tax liability of a taxpayer is
normally only a fraction of his income. This will change the original pattern of income distribution
between the government and taxpayers; reduce the finally disposable share in national income
distribution and increase the

Chandler s Model of Large-Scale, Integrated Managerial...
To what extent can Chandler s model of large scale, integrated managerial enterprise explain the long
term competitiveness of leading economies?
Chandler`s model of large scale enterprises is a way from and shift away from the invisible hand
model given by Adam Smith. Chandler`s model is an attempt to explain the developments in the
second phase of industrial revolution where he tends to reason behind the enhancement of capital. In
this context, he gave the concept of modern industrial enterprise, which according to him grew in
three phases. That is, there were investments in the production facilities, mostly the ones with
technological potential to produce economies of scale and the economies of scope, ... Show more

Various heads of these departments alongside a board and an assigned president then made decisions
for the organization thereby adding a visible hand to the affairs of the organization leading the
enterprise in a set direction. Another point to be taken under consideration here is that an industrial
enterprise, in addition to the functional units, also expanded in other ways. There were defensive
expansion trends i.e. horizontal or vertical expansion, and the offensive ones, i.e. geographical and
product diversification. Further evolution in the industrial enterprise led to performance monitoring
measures i.e. inclusion of a long term and innovative corporate strategy with middle and the top
management being the sole decision makers. However, with labor intensive industries i.e. printing or
textiles, they don`t offer a competitive advantage for the integrated enterprises (Chandler Montgomery
1979: 71). Therefore, in these cases, mass retailers tend to dominate with large purchasing units while
eliminating other intermediaries.
In order to further explain the argument, the case of United States as stipulated via theoretical
paradigms given by Chandler can be discussed. According to the theory, USA precludes to
competitive managerial capitalism which implies that there is an oligopolistic competition

Building A Target Conformant And Flexible Enterprise...
Introduction: In order to build a target conformant and flexible Enterprise Architecture, and to put it in
a perspective, it is very important to analyse and visualize various academic and industrial frameworks
and comprehend and define its concepts. Various definitions describe different architectural processes,
systems, technologies, components and their relationships (Taleb et al, 2012a).The following section
discusses three industrial and three academic frameworks which provide different viewpoints of
Enterprise Architecture.

The importance of culture and organizational structure and the integration between them is discussed
in depth as well, in order to state the factors that need to be focused on for design of an enterprise.
Bernard has further elaborated on various organization models and scrutinized them to justify the
distinction between organization and enterprise. Associated risks and process of estimating the cost
and benefits are eventually explored, covering several important aspects of EA.
Evaluation
Enterprise Architecture is defined as a coherent whole of principles, methods, and models that are
used in the design and realization of an enterprise s organizational structure, business processes,
information systems, and infrastructure (Lankhorst et al, 2012). Over time, EA has become an integral
part of organization s strategy rather than being a mere guideline, (Vaidyanathan, 2005) motivating
organizations to design business aligned enterprise systems. The author s representation of EA as a
strategy, business and technology driven process and its meta disciplinary role thus seems accurately
described. Decisions taken are often incomplete without an adequate decision supporting frameworks
(Narman, 2012). Several organizations have adopted EA frameworks in order to maintain links with
other systems and ultimately create integrated systems, similar to building blocks that fit together
(Shah and Kourdi, 2007). The author s knowledge

Metallica Research Paper
Metallica is considered one of the first metal bands of the early eighties. They are a part of the big
four, the other three include Megadeth, Anthrax, and Slayer. The metal genre is proven to have the
biggest fan base over any other genre. In this article I will only be talking about their early years and
going up to their first four albums. Most diehard Metallica fans will argue that their first four albums
are true Metallica and after that they went mainstream to try and branch out to other audiences.

times. Ulrich, Hammett, and Hetfield sustained no serious injuries; however, bassist Burton was
pinned under the bus and died. Burtons death was unexpected and led the band to not know what to
do. The same year they recruited bassist Jason Newsted. Metallica s first studio album since Burton s
death, And Justice for All, was released in 1988. In 1989, Metallica received its first Grammy Award

The Differences Between William Shakespeare s Romeo And...
I can t relate to most of the play scenes from Romeo and Juliet because of many reasons such as the
feud between their families. The Capulet and Montague family have had a family feud between each
other and caused a fight in the town between Tybalt, a Capulet, and Benvolio a friend of Montague.
Tybalt had yelled, ...I hate the word as I hate hell, all Montagues, and thee. Have at thee coward! (1, 1,
72). This shows his hatred he has been taught over time in which made all Capulet descendants, such
as Romeo and Juliet, born to hate each other and yet, they end up falling in love at first sight. I can t

He quickly forgets his love for Rosaline as he set his eyes on Juliet falling in love instantly. I believe I
had an experience similar to this scene when I had liked someone allot from a distance and we always
hung out in the class but then a friend pointed out he always messed with girls and was not a good
person to look into. My friend would tease me about liking this person similar to how Benvolio and
Mercutio were to tease Romeo. Romeo! Humors! Madman! Passion! Lover! Appear thou in the
likeness of a sigh; speak but one rhyme, and I am satisfied! Cry but aye me! pronounce but love and

There were many different areas that were important in the play and yet, none were similar from when
I have liked someone. I never had anyone sneak into my backyard, never talked to someone outside of
school that I liked, and more. I do know that my sibling could relate to these though when she had her

In my future career of being a sports doctor/trainer you need teamwork and leadership to be successful
and be able to treat a patient. As a sports doctor you can t just have one doctor doing a surgery by

When you are a sports trainer you have a whole team of different trainers who are there to help you
and you need leadership because you need someone to take control of the action or be the person to

Robin Hood Cultural Influences
The story of Robin Hood, the famous archer and advocate for the poor, has been adapted into
hundreds of books, films, and television series. However, Robin Hood was not always depicted as a
beloved hero, stealing from the rich and redistributing to the poor. In fact, many early representations
of Robin Hood characterize him as a morally ambiguous, primarily self interested yeoman. Regardless
of the highly varying interpretations of the character, Robin Hood s adventures seem to resonate with
audiences through the ages and the narrative has no doubt had a profound impact on modern day
media and culture. Yet, despite this tremendous cultural influence, the roots of the legend of Robin
Hood remain largely unknown. There are three predominant ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

This has led to a multitude of suggested identities for Robin Hood. One primary candidate for the real
Robin Hood was Robert Hobbehod, a fugitive of the early 13th century. Sir J.C. Holt, an English

similarities between Hobbehod and the Robin Hood described in one of his earliest depictions, A Gest

He was an outlaw. He lived at a time to which several incidental features of the Gest point and in

The federal government of Canada fifteen years ago, in 1984, the Liberal party changed the Juvenile

You can contact those users who left your account to win them back as your valuable followers. But
this all is possible only when you get an access to recognize which user has exactly left your account.
That s why Instagram Unfollow tracker is important.
The most basic way to check who has unfollowed you is to manually check profiles of each user and
examine if he/she is still following you or not. This surely takes much time to get completed and
obviously could make anybody insane.
That s why you have to take assistance from an external source.
But why Insta does not Provide any notifications to its users for the same? Though, Insta has not
declared any reason precisely but as per my assumption, it s one of the Insta s ways for sentiment
consolation. Where it does not notify you about who has unfollowed you, it also does not notify others
that you have unfollowed them, providing users the more flexibility to unfollow each other. As
following back is among a distinctive tenets of social networking sites.

allow any application to integrate this feature. Read Instagram s Permission Review for submission of

hot topic in the field of chaos .The hyper chaos was first reported in Rossler 1949[].The dynamics of
the system expand in more than one direction and generate a much more complex attractor compared
with the chaotic system with only one positive Lyapunov exponent, which is observed in( Rech et
al).It is characterized as sensitive to initial condition and control variables, pseudo randomness and
ergodicity which meet the requirement of confusion and diffusion properties explained by
Shannon[].As the hyper chaos has two positive Lyapunov exponents, the prediction time of a hyper
chaotic system is shorter than that of a chaotic system[S. Yanchuk et al.,2001], as a result, it is safer
than chaos in security algorithm. As the hyper chaos has larger key spaces than chaos used in some
previous work such as Refs. [2,3,20], is more secure against brute force attack Image encryption
algorithm based on hyper chaos Focus on security issues: This section represents some of the previous
works based on hyperchaotic system. The image encryption algorithm based on hyper chaos proposed
by (Tiegang Gao et al.,2007) and image encryption based on improved hyper chaotic sequences
introduced by (Congxu Zhu.,2011). The core idea of this image encryption scheme (Tiegang Gao et
al.,2007) is based on total shuffling matrix using the Logistic map, and the substitution of the shuffled

Octavia Butler s Parable of the Sower Compared to Real...
Parable of the Sower is a very well written science fiction novel by Octavia Butler. The setting is
California in the year 2025. The world is no longer prosperous and has turned into a very poor place.
There are countless people homeless, jobs are scarce and hard to come by, and very few communities
of homes. The few communities that are still occupied have huge walls with barbed wire and laser
wire surrounding them. There are robberies, murders, and rapes just about every day. People walk the
streets naked and bloody because their clothes were stolen. Some people live in the hills like animals.
They kill anything that comes along, human or not, for food and their territory. Everyone who has a
chance to live must ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Lauren also has a hard time because her father told her she can never discuss her problem with anyone
other than her family. This so called disease is called hyperempathy. This society that Lauren lives in
is a place where people do what they have to do to survive, scavenge and steal or struggle just to get
by each day. Lauren s community is also full of people trying to live an honest life. The kids go to
school within the community. Lauren is a kindergarten teacher in her community. She teaches the
children to learn and also many survival skills. They don t have diplomas or graduations. The kids just
learn for themselves. All the adults in the communities work together. Some have jobs and work for
money and many others just live because they own a house. People watch over each other s house at
night to be on the look out for robbers and scavengers. Sometimes they even have to kill for each
other. I feel that this is somewhat similar to our society in California in that there are those people who
work and make an honest living and those who do whatever it takes to get what they want, such as
those who sell and use drugs and prey upon the unfortunates. We have robbers, rapists, murderers in
our world just as they do in Parable of the Sower. The world isn t as exaggerated, but it is somewhat
similar. Some parts of our

Oil embargo in 1973 by the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Companies (OPEC) focuses
attention on the energy crisis and results in increased demand for coal as a preferred alternative to oil
in the United States Europe, and much of the rest of the world [Speight 2013]. At that time there were
a large number of oil power plants in the world which had suddenly become very expensive to operate

economically feasible fuel in power and water desalination plants (Fig 1). For example, Saudi Arabia
which has the largest known oil reserves in the world, consume annually more than 40 million tons of
crude oil and heavy fuel oil [Husain and Ahmad 2015] in both sea water desalination and power
plants. The produced ashes were collected using electrostatic precipitators installed in the major
facilities and dispose into landfills. While Egypt consume annually approximately 7 million tons of
heavy fuel oil in electric power plants to generate electricity, generation more than 4000 metric tons of

Perfect Forward Essay
The perfect forward for hockey is about 6 foot 2, and is about 220 pounds of muscle. They need a
good aerobic and anaerobic system if they are to be at the peak of there performance. A normal
forward uses 80% of the ATP PC system and about 20% of their Lactic Acid system. For them to be at
there best they need to train in three different programs: 1. They need an off season program, which
will get them into condition to be conditioned and also improve their strength. 2. They need preseason
training with will mainly help them improve their ATP PC system, and that s where they re going to

A perfect example is John LeClair he he s almost impossible for a defensemen to move from in front
of the net and he will do it to you all game long. Thereby the Muscle Strength and Endurance program
is based on a core list of exercise that will help you establish good bases for your upper body for
shooting and lower body skills used for skating power and agility. Yet the most important part of a
forward is their torso that will provide a stability required for most hockey skills.
Flexibility is what provides fluid motion and minimal risk of injury. Flexibility also provides range of
motion and elasticity, which are crucial for the player to generate the power at high levels. The power
of Brett Hull s slap shot does not come from brut strength but from range of motion as well. A forward
cannot only have flexibility in certain spots, but they need it throughout the body because hockey uses
practically every muscle in the body. For example, when you get hit and land in an unusual position
you want your muscles to extend smoothly and then recoil back into there normal position without any
tearing, also you want fluid motion in your forearm to snap that puck into the back of the net.
Therefore an off season work out for a forward would look similar to this.

Music Piracy And Civil Law
Music piracy is an infringement that involve the copying or selling of creative works that which the
copyright owner, composer, or artist did not consent to. Before the invention of newer technology that
allowed for the piracy process to become less difficult, music piracy was much easier to control. With
this new and improved technology of the 21st century, users of the web began adding media files to
the internet, which made all previous difficulties substantially less challenging. It was much easier for
people with little to no knowledge of technology and old piracy methods to gather media files. Piracy
may seem petty, but the effects are major. Not only is it illegal, when music is copied and or shared the
value decreases with each download. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Many citizens are unaware that downloading music although free is illegal and others may think of
piracy as a victimless. Individual artists, ranging from celebrity musical acts like Metallica to the stay
at home mothers who sell digital scrapbooking kits in their free time, frequently speak out against
piracy when talking to their fans. Grassroots organizations also work to educate the public about
music property rights through online marketing campaigns. Technology has given the Music
companies a fighting chance in preventing music piracy. Software programs can be created to require
authorization codes or online registration forms that make piracy more difficult because they are only
given with legal copies. For downloadable content, digital rights management systems limit the
number of devices that can play a particular movie or song in order to stop people from sharing
unauthorized copies. Unfortunately, there are still resourceful hackers and people in the piracy
industry that still continue to find ways to get around these measures. Lawsuits may seem like an
obvious way to stop piracy, but legal action is typically a last resort with the widespread use of the
Internet, it is way too time consuming and expensive to track down every web site and person that is
involved in the production and sharing of illegal music files. Piracy laws also vary from country to
country, making enforcement rather

Black Dwarf Research Paper
Stars are born, grow old, and die, at rates that are related to their mass and any external pressures
acting on them, similar to the life cycle of all living things in the universe. The process in which stars
change dramatically throughout their existence is called stellar evolution and can take millions to
billions of years. Stellar evolution describes how stars transform over time, from birth, through life,
which includes growth, and ending in death. Fusion, the force that generates energy, is balanced by the
pull of gravity, resulting in the progression and development of the star.
Stars begin their life cycle as molecular clouds, or nebula. Some event, such as a shock wave or
collision of a galaxy, causes the cloud to collapse and form smaller pieces, which contract inward and
form a protostar. As the star ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Once the helium in the core is exhausted, the star emits its outer layers into space, contracts down, and
emerges as a White Dwarf. Ultimately, the White Dwarf will lose all of its energy, collapse due to
gravity, and enter a Black Dwarf stage. No Black Dwarfs have been observed in our universe because
the time it takes for a White Dwarf to cool completely is likely to be trillions of years. A Black Dwarf
is simply an explanation for what would result following the death of a White Dwarf.
In larger stars, the core s temperature increases enough to burn carbon into neon. Burning and
contraction are repeated until iron is established in the core. The pressure of neutrons will interrupt the
collapse of the core, creating a neutron star. The sudden cease in the contraction of the core allows
some of the mass to flow inward. The core becomes heavier and can t tolerate it s own gravitational
force. This creates a shock wave blowing the outer layer of the star apart in a core collapse supernova

Persuasive Essay On Graffiti
Since the birth of graffiti in the 1960 s many people were or are either thrown in jail, have to pay a
high fine in graffiti damages or are either asked to do graffiti in many museums and art galleries
because owners like the art they see and want others to see it too. Graffiti has been around for some
time now, most people and the police just see it as a form of destruction and not art they should not
just see it as something that is good or evil because these artists are expressing themselves through this
art and trying to spread a message. The United States and the U.K need to accept the art and nature or
meaning behind this graffiti because it is a way for people to do good things other than rob or go to
jail it is also a way for people to get their message out and have others hear them or see them in an
artistic way.
Generally most people look and take graffiti as a form of destruction and wanting to cause violence,
but in the artist s mind they want to be creative and help the people around them by making art to
cheer someone up or create a sense of creativity in others. They don t do it to go to jail or because they
want to pay a fine they do it because they are open minded and creative. For instance, A lot of
attention is given to the broken window theory, which says that signs of disorder like petty vandalism,
fare jumping ... and yes, graffiti, open the window to larger crimes, Verel told The Huffington Post.
But little is paid to the ways graffiti is harnessed for good in a form that s both constructive and
authentic (Patrick Verel). They are taking this broken windows theory too far and only saying it can
cause bigger crimes. Some graffiti artists are trying to uplift the neighborhoods and the people they
live around with creative art. Also not all graffiti is bad enough to want artists to commit a crime.
While making this art or graffiti I don t think that these artist are trying to harm the buildings in any
way, but they should ask for permission if they aren t allowed to be painting on these buildings. This is
to let the owner of the building know that they mean no harm to the environment or their workplace.
For example, Adam Cooper, cultural strategy officer for the mayor of London, thinks

The Louisiana Purchase nearly doubled the size of the United States in 1803. Jefferson decided to buy

The Safety Of Driving And Driving
Government interference was first introduced under the automobile industry dating back to the very
early 1900s, with a large topic that many people miss when going back into history: the safety of it all.
We, the population of today, are given the ability to drive up to 85mph without thinking twice about it,
our only focus being on the destination. This is recompensed to the drivers of the twenty first century
through the technical advances in firm laws, better drivers education systems, and safer roads and
vehicles. On the other hand, this was not the case a century ago, nor were drivers given the same
luxury just fifty years ago. As the high end, expensive motorized vehicle for the opulence became
cheaper and more common on the streets, danger risks peeked increasingly year after year. As broad as
it may seem, there were only two things that caused accidents on the road: lack of education when
needed in specific situations and orders to abide by. A century ago, no one thought otherwise when it
came to speeding on left turns, drinking and driving, and following the simplest, safest guidelines that
includes just wearing a seatbelt, and so this is when the government intervenes. Dating all the way
back to 1901, Connecticut was the very first state to enforce a speeding limit on motorized vehicles,
an annoying facet of today s roads from the eyes of our speeding parents. This limited the cars to
driving 12 mph within the cities and 15 mph along country roads. (History.com

What Was The Purpose Of The Proclamation
Purpose The Proclamation of 1763 was made after the French and Indian War to make sure that
colonists did not move further west. King George had made this proclamation because he wanted to
preserve Native American land, so that the Native Americans may want to help him in the future. This
was also to make sure that the colonies stayed under British control because if the people moved too
much west Britain would not be able to keep a tight control over the people. Act This proclamation
stated that no colonists were allowed to move or settle west of the Appalachian Mountain Range. It
was created on October 7, 1763 by King George III, and made sure that the Native Americans stayed
west and the colonists stayed east of the Mountains. The proclamation was also a way of trying to
satisfy the Native Americans, who had recently helped in Britain s Seven Year s War Effect As a result
of this proclamation, 7,500 British soldiers were sent to the colonies to enforce the rule and to stop
colonists from rebelling. Colonists saw this as a sign of tyranny and abuse of power on the king s side
and did not want to follow this rule. King George was able to keep control of the colonies for a longer
period of time because the people couldn t move, and the colonies became very cramped, as more

most. The three fictional characters that most represent my personality are Saul Silver from Pineapple
Express for his funny personality, Chris Gardner from the Pursuit of Happiness for being intelligent
and his willingness to strive for success, and Patrick from Spongebob Squarepants for his laziness,
always being late to things he had to do.
Saul Silver from the movie Pineapple Express has a silly personality, which I believe is a
characteristic that I posses as well. A scene from the movie which Saul shows that character trait is

Some behaviours are innate, unlearned and instinctive. From the moment we are born there are instinctive motions that we do. An example of this ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... We were both encouraged to breast feed and having had daughters only a few months apart we shared the experience for a short period of time. My sister struggled, with my niece unable to latch onto her for several weeks. Feeding time soon became a very traumatic experience for both parties, however my daughter and I had a completely different experience. From the first feed we had success, it continued that way for many months. Later my sister learnt that her daughter had had colic , which is a condition in which an otherwise healthy baby cries or displays symptoms of distress frequently and for extended periods of time, without any discernible cause. With this information in mind, it left me wondering whether it in fact took my niece a longer period of time to learn how to breast feed, or if the natural motion was there but her colic condition prevented this from happening. Nurture, historically was referred to as the care given to children by their parents, with a mothers role being of particular importance. This term is now regarded as any environmental factor including external family, their peers, as well as extending influences such as media. BINNS (1965) demonstrated this experimentally. He studied babies less than 5 days old and found clear differences in a babies reactions to being suddenly disturbed. [ref1] (Ahrens 1954), stated that from the 2nd to the 7th month of ... • 4. Ocean At The End Of Lane Analysis The 1960 s was a decade of change but it was also a period in which a number of magical films and books were created. Magical film and books are the art of producing a desired effect or various other techniques that presumably assure human control of supernatural agencies or the forces of nature. These types of films and books had been well received on that period. Based on the gender lens, gender stereotypes is an over generalizations about the characteristics of an entire group based on gender. In the Ocean at the End of Lane and the Bridge to Terabithia, gender stereotypes are reinforced through the depiction of the main characters by the authors to strengthen the plot and make it similar to the today s society. Throughout the Ocean at the End of Lane and the Bridge to Terabithia, the authors portrayed the women as much stronger than the men. For example in the Ocean at the End of Lane, Lettie Hempstock held the narrator tightly tightly. Don t worry, she whispered, and I was going to say something, to ask why I shouldn t worry, what I had to be afraid of, when the field we were standing in began to glow is the line that shows the strength of Lettie throughout the novel. Ed O Bannon, a previous UCLA basketball player filed a case looking to sue the NCAA for licensing players without consent. The NCAA marks their players as amateurs, therefore, they do not allow paying players. However after the ruling, the NCAA was found to be violating antitrust laws, which could potentially change the model of the system (Maese). Judge Claudia Wilken ruled an injunction that schools in the NCAA would be allowed to provide players a trust fund in order to compensate players for using their names in broadcasting, merchandise or imaging. In 2016, this trust fund will allow universities to conduct bidding wars for future recruits (Strauss, Tracy). This of course, would be able to be capped at a certain mark and would not be payable until after the departure of a student athlete s time at a college or the end of their eligibility (Berkowitz) This court case could potentially change the way college sports are run. Marc Edelman, a writer for forbes.com, argues his point in 21 Reasons Why Student Athletes Are Employees And Should Be Allowed To Unionize is for the movement to pay players. Edelman focuses his point on NCAA programs being large revenue businesses and in his opinion should consider student athletes as employees. The unregulated version of capitalism employed and protected by the United States Government (USG) was developed by individual entrepreneurs operating in the freest market in the world. They innovated petroleum refining and business practices that are still supporting U.S. global monetary control and financial power today. Now that humanity is making a shift away from petroleum, the same market practices used by the oil barons of 19th century America are being applied by the solar barons of China, and the rise of a new global hegemon is apparent, or at least widely considered possible. As global change continues to threaten the consumption of the petroleum that keeps the U.S. in power, and the dollar that is backed by petroleum trade, the rise of China as a provider of alternative energy and currency will soon force the U.S. to either share its position of global leadership or compromise the peace that has been maintained by its uncontested seat of power. Still, mutually advantageous foreign policy can be put into place to create a duplistic monopoly of force that will maintain global stability. The Second Treatise Of Government In the Second Treatise of Government, Locke explains human beings right of private property as a natural, enforceable right that men are granted with in the state of Nature as part of his larger justification of the replacement of the state of Nature by civil governments. The basis of Locke s interpretation of such right comes from God s ownership of what God creates, including both human beings and worldly resources. While human beings ownerships of their bodies are granted directly through God, Locke laid out 3 main conditions to be sufficed in order to justify private appropriations of worldly resources. This paper will examine Locke s premises regarding the state of Nature and his explanations of these conditions, compare them with Rousseau s version of requirements for private holdings in The Social Contract, and at the same time discuss whether each condition for private appropriation is sufficient in his effort of justifying unlimited properties. To begin with, Locke believes that at the state of nature, human beings are given the right of properties, and private appropriations can occur as long as they fulfill three main criteria. Such assumption allows Locke to discuss private properties without the interference of other parties, including civil governments. According to Locke, human beings and their private properties are protected by nature as God s will to expect human beings to thrive and to develop, also driven by human beings natural rights of living and ... To what extent can Chandler s model of large scale, integrated managerial enterprise explain the long term competitiveness of leading economies? Chandler`s model of large scale enterprises is a way from and shift away from the invisible hand model given by Adam Smith. Chandler`s model is an attempt to explain the developments in the second phase of industrial revolution where he tends to reason behind the enhancement of capital. In this context, he gave the concept of modern industrial enterprise, which according to him grew in three phases. There were defensive expansion trends i.e. horizontal or vertical expansion, and the offensive ones, i.e. geographical and product diversification. Further evolution in the industrial enterprise led to performance monitoring measures i.e. inclusion of a long term and innovative corporate strategy with middle and the top management being the sole decision makers. However, with labor intensive industries i.e. printing or textiles, they don`t offer a competitive advantage for the integrated enterprises (Chandler Montgomery 1979: 71). It was much easier for people with little to no knowledge of technology and old piracy methods to gather media files. Piracy may seem petty, but the effects are major. Not only is it illegal, when music is copied and or shared the value decreases with each download. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Many citizens are unaware that downloading music although free is illegal and others may think of piracy as a victimless. Individual artists, ranging from celebrity musical acts like Metallica to the stay at home mothers who sell digital scrapbooking kits in their free time, frequently speak out against piracy when talking to their fans. Grassroots organizations also work to educate the public about music property rights through online marketing campaigns. Technology has given the Music companies a fighting chance in preventing music piracy. Software programs can be created to require authorization codes or online registration forms that make piracy more difficult because they are only given with legal copies. For downloadable content, digital rights management systems limit the number of devices that can play a particular movie or song in order to stop people from sharing unauthorized copies. Unfortunately, there are still resourceful hackers and people in the piracy industry that still continue to find ways to get around these measures. Lawsuits may seem like an obvious way to stop piracy, but legal action is typically a last resort with the widespread use of the Internet, it is way too time consuming and expensive to track down every web site and person that is involved in the production and sharing of illegal music files. • 25. Black Dwarf Research Paper Stars are born, grow old, and die, at rates that are related to their mass and any external pressures acting on them, similar to the life cycle of all living things in the universe. The process in which stars change dramatically throughout their existence is called stellar evolution and can take millions to billions of years. Stellar evolution describes how stars transform over time, from birth, through life, which includes growth, and ending in death. Fusion, the force that generates energy, is balanced by the pull of gravity, resulting in the progression and development of the star. Stars begin their life cycle as molecular clouds, or nebula. Some event, such as a shock wave or collision of a galaxy, causes the cloud to collapse and form smaller pieces, which contract inward and form a protostar. As the star ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Once the helium in the core is exhausted, the star emits its outer layers into space, contracts down, and emerges as a White Dwarf. Ultimately, the White Dwarf will lose all of its energy, collapse due to gravity, and enter a Black Dwarf stage. No Black Dwarfs have been observed in our universe because the time it takes for a White Dwarf to cool completely is likely to be trillions of years. A Black Dwarf is simply an explanation for what would result following the death of a White Dwarf. In larger stars, the core s temperature increases enough to burn carbon into neon. Burning and contraction are repeated until iron is established in the core. The pressure of neutrons will interrupt the collapse of the core, creating a neutron star. The sudden cease in the contraction of the core allows some of the mass to flow inward. The core becomes heavier and can t tolerate it s own gravitational force. This creates a shock wave blowing the outer layer of the star apart in a core collapse supernova eruption. This explosion results in the distribution of elements throughout the ... • 29. Persuasive Essay On Graffiti Since the birth of graffiti in the 1960 s many people were or are either thrown in jail, have to pay a high fine in graffiti damages or are either asked to do graffiti in many museums and art galleries because owners like the art they see and want others to see it too. Graffiti has been around for some time now, most people and the police just see it as a form of destruction and not art they should not just see it as something that is good or evil because these artists are expressing themselves through this art and trying to spread a message. The United States and the U.K need to accept the art and nature or meaning behind this graffiti because it is a way for people to do good things other than rob or go to jail it is also a way for people to get their message out and have others hear them or see them in an artistic way. Generally most people look and take graffiti as a form of destruction and wanting to cause violence, but in the artist s mind they want to be creative and help the people around them by making art to cheer someone up or create a sense of creativity in others. They don t do it to go to jail or because they want to pay a fine they do it because they are open minded and creative. For instance, A lot of attention is given to the broken window theory, which says that signs of disorder like petty vandalism, fare jumping ... and yes, graffiti, open the window to larger crimes, Verel told The Huffington Post. But little is paid to the ways graffiti is harnessed for good in a form that s both constructive and authentic (Patrick Verel). They are taking this broken windows theory too far and only saying it can cause bigger crimes. Some graffiti artists are trying to uplift the neighborhoods and the people they live around with creative art. Also not all graffiti is bad enough to want artists to commit a crime. While making this art or graffiti I don t think that these artist are trying to harm the buildings in any way, but they should ask for permission if they aren t allowed to be painting on these buildings. This is to let the owner of the building know that they mean no harm to the environment or their workplace. For example, Adam Cooper, cultural strategy officer for the mayor of London, thinks ... • 37. The Safety Of Driving And Driving Government interference was first introduced under the automobile industry dating back to the very early 1900s, with a large topic that many people miss when going back into history: the safety of it all. We, the population of today, are given the ability to drive up to 85mph without thinking twice about it, our only focus being on the destination. This is recompensed to the drivers of the twenty first century through the technical advances in firm laws, better drivers education systems, and safer roads and vehicles. On the other hand, this was not the case a century ago, nor were drivers given the same luxury just fifty years ago. As the high end, expensive motorized vehicle for the opulence became cheaper and more common on the streets, danger risks peeked increasingly year after year. As broad as it may seem, there were only two things that caused accidents on the road: lack of education when needed in specific situations and orders to abide by. A century ago, no one thought otherwise when it came to speeding on left turns, drinking and driving, and following the simplest, safest guidelines that includes just wearing a seatbelt, and so this is when the government intervenes. Dating all the way back to 1901, Connecticut was the very first state to enforce a speeding limit on motorized vehicles, an annoying facet of today s roads from the eyes of our speeding parents. This limited the cars to driving 12 mph within the cities and 15 mph along country roads. (History.com ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
