In Charles Lamb s Essays of Elia, one of the main literary devices he uses is irony,
which ranges from being extremely subtle to straightforward. This is significant
because the anagram for the pseudonym Elia was a lie . Therefore, this often
changed the meaning of the poem since its context was from a lie, which you could
often tell through the use of ironyand other literary devices within his essays. One
of his works that demonstrated this was his essay, Dream Children: A Reverie.
Throughout the essay, Lamb points to obvious themes of death, loneliness, and

Scientist have discovered that a meteor, has been lost for 25 years after losing
orbit has finally been found headed toward Clare High School. Most of the people
in Clare, Michigan were all freaking out, while the student of Clare High were calm

As it closes the school closes down and prepares for the meteor to hit the parking
lot. On the day of the meteor hit the whole town gathered around a barrier of the
parking lot as the meteor entered the atmosphere and started to speed up. Just minutes
away from hitting the Meteor Detective Agency showed up and evacuated the town
