Reflecting over this semester I have come to the realization the more time I have
had teaching has made me as an educator, more prepared for each and everyday.
When I think back to last year and compare how prepared and confident I felt, there
is no comparison where I stand today. Within this semester, I have grown immensely
as an educator from taking on new roles from having a K state educationstudent
observe with me for 40 hours, to presenting at the state KSDE conference, and to
many more adventures in which I have yet to experience. Even though it has only
been a semester, I feel this year is flying by and I am constantly reflecting on last

Description of the project
The New Wembley Stadium was envisioned as the one of the most ambitious
projects in the world. It was called the home of football and considered to be one of
the largest and glorious stadiums in the world. The 133m arch looks breathtaking

England s icon of football. Football Association (FA) was the client of the project

heroic by being attending to her wound. At Cathy s birthday party, it is Annie who

station(Tiangong 1) that is falling out of orbit. China lost contact with the satellite
approximately the size of a school bus in 2016 and they have not been able to get
the engines started. The satellite is expected to re enter the earth s atmosphere on
or around April 1, 2018. Scientists are unable to predict where exactly it will land
on earth, however they don t expect it to be a danger to anyone because most of the
space station will burn before any debris reach the ground and it is smaller than
most space stations. If it does make contact with earth however, the debris band
could be over 2000 Km long because the satellite breaks up into many different

s lives could be at risk. Reading this article I was also surprised there are not more
measures in place to prevent these things from happening. Obviously this satellite
costs millions of dollars to build and put in space so I assumed there would be

According to Ge and McVay research study findings, business complexity is
positively correlated with firm disclosure of material weaknesses. They hypothesized
that the firms with more complicated transactions likely to have greater chance for a
disconnect in the financial reporting process, and thus a material weakness (Ge et

complexity of the firm is a driver of internal control weaknesses (Doyle et al., 9). To
measure the business complexity of a firm, Doyle et al. used three measures to
include the number of special purpose entities, number of operating segments and the
existence of foreign currency adjustment. The findings of Doyle et al. were as
predicted. The three complexity measures were higher in firms that reported material

In relation to the Ge and McVay research study findings, company profitability is
negatively correlated with firm disclosure of material weaknesses. Ge and McVay
hypothesized that poorly performing firms simply might not be able to adequately
invest in proper internal controls (Ge et al., 151). This would result in a greater
chance of disclosing material weaknesses. In order to test their hypothesis, they used
two profitability metrics consisting of return on assets (ROA) and cash from
operations scaled by assets (CFO/A).

Medicaid is a social health care program that covers nearly 60 million Americans,
including children, pregnant women, seniors, parents and individuals suffering with
disabilities. Medicaid is the biggest source of funding for health related services and
medical needs for the people with low income in the United States. This program is
funded jointly by the state and federal level governments, but it is the state s
responsibility to manage this program. The Medicaidprogram is not a required
program that states have to use, but all 50 states have implemented this program.
With the introduction of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), and its passing in 2010,
the ACA unveiled its plans to expand Medicaid eligibility to nearly all low income
adults as an addition to the other groups that fall into the Medicaid eligibility. The
Medicaid program had many gaps in coverage for adults because it was only
restricted to the low income individuals and other people with needs in their own
specific category. In the past, the majority of the states who had adults that did not
have children dependent on those parents were not eligible for Medicaid. These
low income adults without dependent children would be without medical insurance
assistance before the ACA was introduced. Medicaid is now available to all
Americans under the age of 65 whose family income is at or below the federal
poverty guideline of 133 percent or $14,484 for an individual and $29,726 for a
family of four in 2011 (NSCL).
