Rogers may not have worked with his clients to produce and obtain goals, but he did have a
ultimate goal in his therapeutic work. According to Rogers, They [clients] are then able to accept
themselves as they are and to commit themselves to becoming more like they can and want to be
(as cited in Truscott, 2010, p. 72). The client is in turn aided by the therapist in becoming as
authentic as possible. Thus this authenticity would provide the client with the ability to be true to

like a difficult task to accomplish because of the nature of judgments. Understandably so, the
therapist would automatically make judgments of the client, as a natural inclination even with the
best intentions against judgments.

These reasons are very cool and intelligent of the author to put these into his story. One of the
reasons this book is called Paper Towns is because where the author says that Margo and Q live
is actually a real paper town. Where they play mischievous pranks on people is also an actual
paper town. Another reason is because Margo does research on paper towns and marks paper
towns on the maps that Q finds as some of the clues she leaves for him to find her. She uses the
paper towns because they lead to abandoned places and the middle of nowhere and it confuses
him and makes him sometimes believe that she is dead, yet he still never gives up. He was
determined to find her dead or alive. A third reason this is called paper towns is because Margo
sends Q to the paper towns and some of the places he actually finds clues to where to try and look

specific portions of DNA sequences that exist in our own human bodies. The basis of genetic
research and the idea of owning a gene were brought to light over 150 years ago when the
Supreme Court ruled that you could not own human nature, but over time the advancement of
scientific research and technology made genetic research and its findings more accessible.
Genetic researchers were able to find genes that can help cure disease and could identify
cancerous genes in humans. With companies being able to find these genes, they wanted to have
chance to make money off of them; from tests for being applicable to cancer, disease, or any
other medical problem. This became an issue because of how there are only few companies that
you can go through for the test of that specific gene; they are a monopoly. Since the late 1990 s,
people have begun to protest the right to own a gene in a human body and are wanting the
companies to forfeit their rights of the ownership. This creates tensions because of the abundant
amount of money associated with the gene. This makes the company come off as a negative aspect
toward the next step in scientific discoveries. This study concludes that it is in the best interest of
humans to make companies that own genes go to the Supreme Court in order to fight to protect
ourselves against genetic monopolies, and to further develop scientific and technological
