Conducting the interview
For this proposal, I interviewed the Surrey Salvation Army Thrift Store manager, Narmada
Indrasiri. My goal was to discover whether the store raises enough money to help its rehabilitation
program through donations. My interview consisted of questions such as (1) Do you get enough
donations to fulfil store target? (2) Approximately how many donations you get per day? (3) Are
all the donations in good condition to resell? (4) if not, what are the difficulties you have been
facing? (5) How much money spend on the garbage pickup truck?

Narmada Gayathri Indrasiri has been the manager of the Surrey Salvation Army Thrift Store since
it opened in Surrey location in 2012. She volunteered and worked at the thrift store for many years

Indrasiri, she said that the incoming donations are definitely not enough for them to achieve their
target budget. Compared to her past experience with the company, she mentioned that the amount
of good donation they get now is incredibly lower than before. She convinced that even though
they get donations from approximately 35 donors per day, not every donation is reusable. Some
of them are going to recycle bins and some unwanted donations end up in their garbage bins. By
virtue of this, their garbage spending has gone up as it does not take much longer to pile up. She

Roman and Greek architecture are very prominent examples of early historic architectural
