Compare And Contrast Mary Wollstonecraft And Leila Ahmed
Mary Wollstonecraft and Leila Ahmed In Europe or in Muslim countries, the most progressive
writers, philosophers and intellectuals were always a source of societal development. Their
revolutionary thoughts were new and often could not be accepted by their audience immediately.
However, usually next generations did not started to understand and accept them, but even applied
and based the newest and most progressive theories on them. Mary Wollstonecraft and Leila Ahmed
are two examples that illustrate this viewpoint on practice. One representing the eighteenth century
literature of the Great Britain and the other coming from last century Arab world, both women
struggled for women s rights and attempted to portray the life seen through female eyes, each within
her own historical and social context. The present paper aims at comparing and contrasting
Wollstonecraft and Ahmed in terms of their intellectual engagement, societal and historical input, as
well as their most important aspects. Having two similar philosophies developed, these women
symbolize progressivism, courage and modern approach which challenges current stereotypes in the
societies the authors belonged to.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Her education and her relationships with women (especially with such ones as Jane Arden and
Frances Blood) have shaped her early life and later values and beliefs (Jacobs, 2001).
Wollstonecraft was much concerned with female position in society and educational issues for
women. She struggled for the rights of women to study and to freely choose their activity and their
position in a relationship. One of her profound achievements besides her writings was the fact that
she has opened a school near London to attempt fulfilling her ideas on practice. Unfortunately, the
school went bankrupt in a year from its

Children Dealing with Life and Death
Most children ponder the thought of what life would be like without their parents. They imagine
how amazing and fun a life filled with jokes and no rules would be. Not even having to go to
school if you did not want to. Except this is not how life works. When a parent dies and the
reality sets in, it quickly shows us that life is not all fun and games. The death of a parentis a
devastating reality for any young child to bare. This abrupt reality may have long lasting effects
as each child has their own unique way of perceiving life s events. In the blink of an eye ones
world may be completely twisted around. This kind of tragedy has the ability to shape a child in
both negative and positive ways. They are now faced with the task of... Show more content on

Another type of death is one by tragedy that can be unexpected and can be more devastating than
prolonged death in that it occurs suddenly and without notice. More often than not parents die
unexpectedly and their children are left behind in a big scary world with no guidelines on how to
survive. In part this is because parents do not expect to die while their child or children are still
young. Planning ahead for the future can be difficult for parents emotionally as well as
culturally and in some cases even financially. Initially when a parent dies it seems as if they have
all the support in the world by people who love them. Most people seem to think that after a year
or more children should be well adjusted, happy and have made it through their traumatic loss. A
child s perspective may seem different in fact they may feel more alone. A child named Abby had
this to say about that topic The pain got worse! Because the initial shock wears off, people stop
coming to your house, and you are left....with yourself (Simon, Johnson 49). What most people do
not realize is that they still are not okay.
No one can completely prepare for the unknown when a child loses a parent no one can predict
how each child will grieve. The caretaker of the child who is grieving has the responsibility of
trying to understand the child s thoughts or questions. When a child s parent has died adjusting to a
new way of life can be extremely difficult

The Satire Of Knighthood In Don Quixote
Don Quixote is a story of a chivalrous knight. The story highlights the satire of knighthood and
the tragedy of following your dreams. Cervantes is an older man who has given his life to books
and knowledge, especially books on knighthood and chivalry. He decides to embark on his journey
into knighthood at the age of 50, changing his name to Don Quixote. As Don Quixote travels
through the journeys of knighthood he ll learn many people don t appreciate chivalry.
Not all knights were chivalrous. Many knights abused power, went against the law, and were
greedy. Some arguably un chivalrous knights put Cervantes, the author of Don Quixote, into prison.
That may have been where his inspiration came to create Don Quixote, a knight as chivalrous as ...

Don Quixote is everything a knight should be, he strives to do everything mentioned in the
Knights Code of Chivalry such as protecting the weak, living with honor, not to crave award,
being honest, respect women and to never refuse a challenge. Don Quixote does all of this to
the best of his ability, which brings the humor because he is a 50 year old man trying to fight
with a broken lance. Don Quixote also wears armor that isn t quiet up to standard. The first thing
he did was to clean up some armour that had belonged to his great grandfather, and had been for
ages lying forgotten in a corner eating with rust covered with mildew...but he perceived one great
defect in it, that it had no closed helmet, nothing but a simple morion. This deficiency, however, his
ingenuity supplied, for he contrived a kind of half helmet of pasteboard which, fitted on to the
morion, looked like a whole one (Miguel de Cervantes). I believe that Cervantes wrote broken down

often wore very proper pristine suits of armor but underneath that

The Apprenticeship Of Duddy Kravitz Analysis
Tragedy to Comedy: The Effect of Satire
Satire is a technique that takes extreme capability to execute properly. Mordecai Richler,
implements this writing style accurately all while producing a genuine story that shares a message
of growth, and strive for success for a young boy growing up in a time of financial and supportive
struggles.. At large, The Apprenticeship of Duddy Kravitzshares a story packed with satire and
irony, but effectively shows how the characters are greedy, materialistic, and immoral.
Prior to discussing ways in which satire is used within Duddy Kravitz it is important to understand
what satire is, and what other devices it includes. Satire is a humorous or light form of writing that
is used to expose a novels more serious themes. Satire uses sarcasm, irony, and wit to mock or
ridicule something or someone. Mordecai Richler uses this device often. This makes the novel a
dramatic comedy, even though the story shares a darker and more serious message. Greed is one
of Duddy Kravitz central issues throughout the book, as it is something he struggles to keep under
control. Mordecai Richler makes light of Duddy s situation by using cliches, an overused idea.
Duddy s traditional story of rags to riches , one that has been heard many times, is displayed
through irony, and satire. Duddy starts his life as an unmotivated pre teen, as he was never pushed
by his superiors. With time, he finds something within to

Hplc Determination Of Caffeine On Analgesic Powders
CHE 333 03 11/21/16 Formal Report HPLC Determination of Caffeine in Analgesic Powders
ABSTRACT: Components containing caffeine were composed into stock solutions. These
solutions were diluted to 1: 10 substance: mobile phase. A stock solution of caffeine was diluted
1:50. A sequence of diluted caffeine solutions were prepared for use as a standard (ppm): 1, 2, 4,
and 10. Solutions of acetaminophen, acetylsalicylic acid, and Goody s Powder were developed to
differentiate chromatographic peaks observed. These solutions were subjected to HPLC for
examination of the observed peak area and retention time for the set of compounds. Comparison of
retention time allowed for the differentiation of peaks observed. The peak area obtained was
utilized to determine the relative concentration of caffeine present in Goody s Powder based on the
relationship obtained in the standard. The content of caffeine present in Goody s Powder by
percent weight was identified. INTRODUCTION: The separation of molecular particulates from
any mixture may involve any combination of the relative chemical, electrostatic, and mechanical
properties composing each component contained therein. Typically this mixture may exist as a
liquid solution or gaseous species. The respective interactions of each particulate depend on the
surrounding conditions to which the solution is subjected. A solvent is utilized to dissolute the

Analysis Of Marjorie Prime
Production Response B: Marjorie Prime
1. The main question Marjorie Prime opens for the audience is, what can technology do for the
human experience? The answer to this question is tricky, but I think it was covered well
throughout the play by focusing on the idea of, what would you say to a person you loved if they
were still here? First, the definition of the human experience is all of the emotions and events
someone will experience throughout their lifetime; examples fitting for this play are grieving and
death. The first moment from Marjorie Prime where I felt the meaning was the first time we see
Walter Prime. Walter Prime is clean cut and smooth in his dark blue suit and oxford shoes. He
could pass for human, but his voice is eerily like that of a male Siri on iPhones. The whole idea
of getting a prime for Marjorie was so that when her memory is totally gone from her mind, it
will still be in the mind of the prime, and then he can feed her back her memories. The prime is in
the form of Marjorie s husband, Walter, when he was in his thirties. Both of these elements of the
prime give Marjorie back some companionship other than her daughter, Tess, and Tess s husband,
John. We learn later on in the playthat Marjorie lost her son, Damien, to suicide. The prime is
able to help Marjorie s human experience by not relaying the painful memories of him back to her.
He in turn indirectly takes away her grief because other people can add or delete Marjorie s

definitely could have improved the interest factor of my video. My introduction is a simple title

presentation will be covering. Looking back on the example given and at other students videos, I
realize some music and a hook could have been very helpful. A hook is especially important

pretty tame. Of course, I find it interesting, but my audience has not seen the video, so they... Show

they could have been more in depth representations of my talking points as a whole. Finally, it
comes to my oral presentation skills. I would say I have average ability to communicate orally,
which I hoped to improve by splitting up my speech into different sections. I recorded each of
these separately, sometimes recording seven or eight takes, for the sake of cutting out most
stumbles and producing the best quality video I could. However, I think I still could have
improved. There a few mistakes which I left in, and could have redone if I d had better time
management skills. I was unsure about how expressive to be, as my video was half me talking
and half narration. I tried to be reserved and easy to understand, but I think going bigger and being
more animated would have helped keep my video interesting and fun to watch. Re watching myself

Battle Of Pea Ridge Essay
Ridge, 1862
The American Civil War was a major and crucial point in American History. It influenced the
citizens of America in many ways. The War was conducted in two key areas of the United
States. These parts were in the east and west of the Mississippi River. On March 8, 1862, a
pivotal battle took place. A slight encounter at Pea Ridge, Arkansas led to the Union Army s
domination of the west. The Battle of Pea Ridge had a great impact on the civil war by giving
control of the west to the Union Army.
The Battle of Pea Ridge was a key and crucial battle in the American Civil Warbattle, fought at

of Major General Earl Van Dorn. The battle resulted in the Union s control over Missouri. This

The Union Army started attacking in all directions. Sometime about noon, Sigel s men met Davis
forces at Elkhorn Tavern.
During the battle Confederates counted eight hundred killed and wounded, with around two
hundred and fifty captured. This information, however, is believed to be grossly underestimated. A
more realistic figure is that the Confederates suffered two thousand victims in the Battle of Pea
Ridge. These losses comprised a large share of senior officers.
Despite Victory, Union forces had serious losses as well. Federal troops counted around two
hundred killed, nine hundred and eighty wounded and another two hundred missing for a total of
1,384 losses due to little food they could gain from the settlers. The Confederate army, on the other
hand, did not have a problem with getting food from

Analyzing Precise Electronic Structure Of The Different...
The core aim of the present work is to completely analyze precise electronic structure of the five
different doped BaTiO3 systems and the bonding interactions between the constituent atoms. This
aim is achieved successfully by adopting maximum entropy method (MEM). In this section, the
importance of electrondensity studies in structure analysis, the formalism of MEM method, the
principle, MEM methodology followed in this work to elucidate the electron density are given
elaborately.
1.9.2.1 Electron density The electron density is a quantum mechanical observable, that can be
measured through scattering experiments, in particular X ray diffraction from the crystals. The
possibility of measuring charge density in a crystalline system from its X ray diffraction pattern
was conceived several years ago when Debye and Scherrer explained the existence of halos in a
powder photograph where the images of the electronic orbit around the atoms [Debye et.al., 1918].
Electron density is the measure of probability of an electron being present at a specific location.
The regions of electron density are usually found around the atoms and its bonds. The probability
of locating an electron at one point (or) another can be calculated quantum mechanically. This
calculation gives a quantity called electron density. Electron can be viewed as a stationary wave
(or) a cloud of negative charges. The electron density is considered as a periodic function of
position in a crystal, reaches to a

known at the time of lynching, and indisputably proven after the victims death, that the relationship

The Southern white man says it is impossible for a voluntary alliance to exist between a white

they know that the acts had been completely consensual, the white males continued this butchery of
the blacks. Anything that could be thought up, even if it lacked truth or evidence, was used as
excuses for these continued forms of slavery. Ida also writes about the young white women from

Description Of A On The Warehouse Manager System (...
My Proposal: Focal points: Picking пЃ¶Order is placed by a customer online/phone пЃ¶WMS
(warehouse managing system) organizes the order into pick lines/pick list. пЃ¶Based on how the
warehouse is set up we move forward with following picking strategies: пѓ By SKU (stock
keeping unit): inventory is identified by these SKU. Pro: Items are listed in order which will
minimize backtracking Con: A lot of time spent on transit, errors can be common and you need
to train people on location codes. Ex. SKU beginning with 123 is situated in which aisle. пѓ By
Location: each item is paired with a location ID. Pro: Knowing where the item is better then
SKU and software can improve productivity Con: transit time is still an issue пѓ By Zone (pick
and pass): workers assigned to a zone and once they complete their portion it is pass over to the
next person until completion. Pro: Reduces travel time of a an individual Con: Must
have a sophisticated WMS I would suggest using the zone method for organizing the warehouse
as well as picking items as this puts us in a position regardless of city or location to succeed. If
we are setting up shop in CA or NY we can bring this same methodology to any new warehouse
and since we began with the most sophisticated WMS already; it ensures that 20 years from now
we will still have something that is function. Packing пЃ¶Utilizing technology пѓ Goal Right
size Box Right amount of Boxes Minimize shipping cost Use the right kind of packing

Romeo And Juliet Reading Analysis
Introduction: How d He Do That? Recognizing patterns can make reading easier by helping me
comprehend what it is that I am reading. Memory. Symbol. Pattern. These are the three items
that, more than any other, separate the professional reader from the rest of the crowd. (Foster
xxvii). When I recognize the patterns that the author used when writing, I am able to better
understand the structure of the chapter, the plot of the story, the point of view of all the
characters and the language used. A time when my appreciation for a literary work was
enhanced by my understanding of a symbol or pattern was when I was reading Shakespeare s
Romeo and Juliet. Shakespeare wrote in iambic pentameter whenever a character of a higher
class spoke. It was easier to understand and keep track of who is who when I understand if what
I was reading had a meter or not. It made it easier to decipher whether the prince was talking or a
servant was. Also, recognizing the pattern of Romeo and Juliet finishing each other s sentences
in iambic pentameter made reading that great play a bit easier for me to understand. Chapter 1:

High School Sports Head Injury
Statistics state that it s a 47 percentage of high school football players receiving a serious head
injury. The article High School Struggle to Tackle Safety on the Football Field by Kendrick
Calkins caught my attention. The article started out as an assignment but ended up being
something I was very interested in learning more about. Three questions popped in my head the
moment t I read this particular article; what happens to the boys who end up having a head injury?
Why does it happen? And how does the family feel?
What happens to the boys who have the head injury? In high school football you never want to give
up or quit, so many boys who obtained an injury like that continues to play. But in some cases a
lot of young boys are dying to this head injury, because instead of stopping and treating the injury
they continue to play. There are rarely any players who actually stop playing because of one head
injury. For example there was a player who obtained a head injury and did not stop playing and the
consequence for that was his young life. One statistic stated 15.8 percent of football players who
sustain a head injury to severe enough to cause loss consciousness return to play the same day.
Why does this happen? These young high school boys joined this sport to better themselves, learn

College Essay On Blizzards
A blizzard is a severe snow storm with winds in excess of 35 mph and visibility of less than a 1/4
mile for more than 3 hours. Blizzards can also occur after snowfall when high winds cause
whiteouts (fallen snow blowing around) and snowdrifts (huge mountains of snow), which decrease
visibility. In order for a snowstorm to be classified as a blizzardit must meet the following criteria: a
large amount of snowfall, winds greater than 56 km/h (35 mph), and less than Вј of a mile
visibility. These conditions must last for over three hours for a blizzard to occur. In short, a

Blizzards bring very low temperatures, strong winds and lots of blowing snow, leading to
whiteouts and snowdrifts that bury homes and cars. In Jan. 1888, the so called Schoolchildren s
Blizzard kills 235 people, many of whom were children on their way home from school, across the
Northwest Plains region of the United States. The storm came with no warning, and some accounts
say that the temperature fell nearly 100 degrees in just 24 hours. Thursday afternoon began with
the unseasonably warm weather the previous day from Montana east to the Dakotas and south to
Texas. Suddenly, within a matter of hours, Arctic air from Canada rapidly pushed south.
Temperatures plunged to 40 below zero in much of North Dakota. Along with the cool air, the
storm brought high winds and heavy snows. The combination created blinding conditions. Most
victims of the blizzard were children making their way home from school in rural areas and
adults working on large farms. Both had difficulty reaching their destinations in the awful
conditions. In total, an estimated 235 people across the plains died on January 12. The storm is
still considered one of the worst blizzards in the history of the area. Here s some advice for how
to stay safe, warm, and dry during this and future winter snowstorms. Stock up on food and water.

A Truly Beautiful Soul in The Idiot, by Fyodor Dostoyevsky...
The Russian novelist Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoyevsky stands at the very summit of Russian
literature. No 19th century writer had greater psychological insight or philosophical depth. None
speaks more immediately and passionately to the mood and tone of the present century. This essay
will discuss how Dostoyevskys intent to portray a truly beautiful soulmanifests itself in the novel
The Idiot, and access Dostoyevsky s success or failure in achieving his intention.
Dostoyevsky confesses in his letter to Maikov dated January 12, 1868 that his desperate situation
compelled him to resort to the fascinating and tempting, but nonetheless difficult and premature
thought of portraying a wholly beautiful individual. As a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

This would suggest that Myshkin could not possibly embody beauty since he is ineffectual and
destructive and ultimately inadvertently assists a murder of a physically beautiful woman. I will
try to show in my essay though that although this is a deliberately pessimistic and truthful
hypothesis, Dostoyevsky does portray a truly beautiful soul .
The proposal of The Idiot is to expose the contradiction between worldly and heavenly values: a
saint , like Prince Myshkin, is considered an idiot . He doesn t see what everybody sees, because
he has got his eyes set not in other people s faces, but in their souls. Just like the author, he is a
psychologist: and a psychologist not only with a complete understanding of every individual s
minds, but also full of compassion for each one of their failures. Once again, we see the triad
compassion/forgiveness/love as the main message of the book.
Prince Myshkin is Dostoyevsky s positive character. He is an ideal Christian and lives by the
virtue of such ideals. He is compassionate, benevolent, patient and forgiving. He arrives in Russia
at the age of twenty six having spent four years in Switzerland treating his epilepsy and mental
illness. He refers to himself as an idiot because of this illness. The reason for his arrival to St.
Petersburg is to start a new life with the help of his distant relative Elizaveta Prokofievna
Yepanchin. At their family home he is attracted to Aglaya as a new hope. He

Critical Analysis Of The Game Of Love And Chance
The Game of Love and Chance is a play written by Pierre de Marivaux (1688 1763), who is a
French novelist and dramatist that is now considered one of the best French playwrights of the
eighteenth century. He has written over thirty plays that focus more towards romantic comedy.
Marivaux was born in Paris, France on February 4th, 1688, and deceased on February 12th, 1963 in
Paris. The game of Loveand Chance (also called Le Jeu de l amour et du hasard in French), is a
romantic comedygenre, and the main subject of it is love. It was first performed on the 23rd of
January 1730 at the Comedie Italienne, where Marivaux s plays were mostly performed.
Originally, in 1697, the theatre Comedie Italienne was shut down due to offensive contents, and
the companies were banished from France. However, in 1716, the companies were permitted
back to France, and from there, the companies focused on the works of French playwrights, more
specifically on Pierre de Marivaux s plays. An important category that The Game of Love and
Chance belongs to is comedy of manners, which means a comedy that satirizes behavior in a
particular social group, especially the upper classes . The play used comedy in order to explore the
political issues of class and satirized behaviors. The play is about assumed identity, the ultimate
triumph of true love, and the tyranny of social taboos. The play also considers the social status and
the importance it played in the eighteenth century courtship and marriage.

. The underlying theme of the film, however, is that it is the responsibility of parents and
guardians to protect their children from what they deem inappropriate, and that censorship of
anything (particularly in movies and TV) is simply a parental tool for escaping blame. In the
climax of the film the parents sing a song whose words are meant to blame Canada before anyone
blames the parents for their poor parenting skills. It is also seen that a couple abandons their baby
in the enthusiasm to join the other parents in singing.
Much of the film s satire and many of the songs depict how people refuse to accept responsibility

Getting Away And Going Camping With The Family
Getting away and going camping with the family can be a very rewarding time, not to mention a
ton of fun. But if you have a toddler that you must take with you, it will present a set of unique
problems. You will need to keep your toddler occupied, safe, and entertained. Here s how. 1. Don
t try and travel too far at one time with a toddler in the car. Three hours of traveling is about the
limit for a toddler. You will then need to stop and get out of the car. Give the toddler some time
to move around a bit and get some fresh air. The exercise will do him good and he may get tired
out enough that he may sleep during the next leg of the trip. Be sure to bring some snack foods
with you to give him something to munch on. 2. Also consider where your toddler will sleep. Is
he used to sleeping on something other than a bed? If he is, then you don t have anything to
worry about. But if he isn t, then you may need to do some thinking concerning sleeping
arrangements. 3. Be careful where you camp. I don t think you want to be too close to a lake or
pond. Your toddler could wander in that direction very quickly without you noticing. In fact, you
need to keep an eye on him constantly. There are many hazards in a campingenvironment that could
injure him. 4. Be sure to make the trip fun for the toddler. Try and arrange things that will be fun
for him to do. The lake or pond can be fun; he just can t do that by himself. As long as you

Funding For Civil Legal Services Essay
Introduction
Who is LSC (intro paragraph)
Since 1974 the Legal Services Corporation has worked to promote equal access to justice and
provide funding for civil legal assistance to low income Americans nationwide. In addition to
awarding grants to legal services providers through a competitive grants process, LSC also conducts
program visits and compliance reviews to ensure high quality program performance, provides
training and technical assistance, and encourages innovation and advocacy within the legal aid
field. As the costs of legal services continue to rise and the justice gap wherein 80 percent of the
civil legal need of low income Americans goes unmet continues to widen, LSC remains the single
largest funder of civil legal aid in the nation.
Millions of Americans Need Free Civil Legal Services
The need for basic civil legal assistance for people who cannot afford to pay for an attorney is
overwhelming. Nearly 20% of the U.S. population (63 million) qualify for LSC funded legal
services based on the latest (2015) data from the U.S. Census Bureau, yet studies have
consistently found that less than 20 percent of the legal problems experienced by the poor are
being met. Moreover, LSC s justice gap studies (2005, 2009) determined that for every individual
serviced by an LSC funded legal aid program, another is turned away due to inadequate resources.

Puddle Jumpers Airlines, Inc. is a new consumer airline in its formative stages. It is being
organized to take advantage of a specific gap in the short haul domestic travel market. The gap
exists in low cost service out of Anytown, U.S.A. The gap in the availability of low cost service in

Anytown indicates that a new entrant airline could be expected to capture a significant portion of
current air travel business at that hub.

expected competition. Product quality. Always with safety foremost. Services delivered on time,
costs controlled, marketing budgets managed. There is a temptation to fix on growth at the
expense of profits. Also, rapid growth will be curtailed in order to keep maintenance standards
both strict and measurable. Cost control. The over all cost per ASM (available seat mile) is
pegged at 7.0 cents or less in 1996 dollars. This ASM factor places Puddle Jumpers in a grouping
of the lowest four in the airline industry within the short haul market. (US Air, the dominate carrier
in the Anytown market, averages 12.0 cents per ASM by comparison). The only three airlines with
lower operating costs also operate older and less reliable equipment, and even then the lowest short
haul cost in the airline industry is currently Southwest at 6.43 cents per ASM.

Theoretical Approaches To Personality Analysis
While reading through chapter eleven of my psychology textbook, I discovered that the four
main theoretical approaches to personality include the psychodymanic approach, the triat
approach, the social congnitive approach, and lastly, the humanistic psychology approach. The
first theory the book establishes is the psychodymanic apporach, also known as Frued s Theory,
states that a person s personality is not due to a specific set of factors but rather that personality
is determined by many factors such as a human s drives for food, sex, aggression, ect., as well as a
person s unconscious processes, and a person s early childhood influences, most specifically a
person s parents or gaurdians. The psychodynamic apporoach states that personality... Show more

This scale, like many others, described my personality on what traits I self described myself as
being. After the conclusion of the personality test, the test described myslef as being a people
person, an open person, and a generally positive person. The test also depicted my weakness as
being to talkitive and too permissive, and my limitation as being failing to follow through on past
commitments and failure with self disipline. I also scored almost equally on the lion personlity
which means that while I am mostly an otter I also have very developed skills in leading. The trait
theory, I believe, is the easist way of desribing a person s personality because you do not have to
look into a person s past to determine why a person s personaity is the way it is but rather the
trait view just observes a person s personality. The trait theory though falls though because it does
not expain why people act the way they do or why they have prejudices. The social cognitive
approach argues that a person s persoanity is learned whether than inherit our personaities. This
follows through with some ideas in gender theory stating that a person s gender traits are also
learned by society than inherited. This also releates to Frued s theory of parent involvment in a
human s personality because a person s parents will be most around a child generally in that child s
early development which allows for that child to generally delevop the traits of their parents and
then hold on to those traits throughout their

What Are The Great Moments At St. Francis High School Service
Great moments are born from great opportunities. As a part of the Holy Cross family, we need to
take every opportunity to help each other. This helping is also known as the service program in
St. Francis High School. In the summer of 2013, I took an opportunity to experience the
understanding of Holy Cross and Catholic. I joined the vacation bible camp and taught kids what
is catholic or what we should do as a catholic. Those moments of my service program are indelible
in my mind. On the third day of my service at the vacation bible camp as a teen leader, there was a
six year old kid came and asked me a questionafter the mass. He asked me, Is God really going to
hear my prayer? I was surprised a small kid asking me a question that probably no kids of his age
would ask. I was thinking for a moment and trying to think how I should answer him. I gave him
positive answer which is Yes . The kid is confused for a moment and then asked, Are you sure? I
know the kid was not expecting the answer Yes again, so I gave him another answer. I told him
told every prayer will be heard by God, but God would choose the best plan for you even though
the plan is not always what we want. After I answered, he ran away with some other kids and
started playing. I believed I did a good job answering that question. I taught a catholic kid a
deeper part of Catholic Christian. This is a great moment I experienced as part of the Holy Cross.
As a Holy Cross man and representing BRIC, I pointed

people only see as little boys not destroyers of a beautiful creation. The war transformed the
children s hate in the world and corrupted their vision of humanity. Boys destroy an old innocent

What would you do if you were lured to an island by someone claiming to be an old friend, or
sent to complete a job? One by one someone is murdered. The murderer is one of the ten people
among you, and as one person dies that s one less person who is guilty. Would you be the person
who takes charge? The one who goes insane? Or would you lie low and hope noone notices you?
In the book And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie
, the main mystery elements used were:
main conflict, setting, characterization, and the author s techniques of giving clues.
The main conflict in the story is person versus person, or the murders of the ten people who
were apparently murdered because they were guilty of a crime themselves. Everyone is killed in
a certain way, by the lyrics of a nursery rhyme hung in their bedrooms. (31). On the centerpiece of
the dining table there are ten indian boys, everyone thought it was very clever since the name of
the island they were staying on was Indian Island. That was until they realized each indian boy
represented one of them and as one person died one indian boy was taken off the centerpiece. (74)

Analysis Of Loveliest Of Trees By William Blake
Intense, dark, cold, empty, merciless, those are just mere descriptions of him. Him, the
atramentous shadow, the one who pursues individuals waiting for the perfect time to seize them
away. His presence, even the mentioning of his name, is invariably menacing. He radiates
despair to the individuals he inquires. He oversees age, personality, therefore he does not
distinguish. He does not care. Does he feel lonely? What is his urgency to take individuals with
him for the rest of eternity? This obsidious shadow known as death, roams night and day. He
saunters without rest. A. E. Housman, Edwin Denby, and William Blake each have a different
perspective towards death. Housman depicts death as an impatient being, Denby illustrates it as
something that fights against us, while Blake interprets it through spiritual glasses. The themes in
Loveliest of Trees by A. E. Housman, I had heard it s a fight by Edwin Denby, and The Lamb by
William Blake best reveals the author s purpose about death. Moreover, the overall theme in
Loveliest of Trees is that death is an impatient being who does not give individuals enough time to
contemplate on the beauty of life. In the poem, the narrator compares other types of trees to the
cherry tree. In fact, the narrator states that compared to other trees the cherry tree is the loveliest
amongst all. The narrator mentions how at the age of 20 the cherry tree existence became known to

Essay about North by Northwest, by Alfred Hitchcock
Alfred Hitchcock s film North by Northwest (1959) is famed as a classic man on the run thriller,
following protagonist Roger Thornhill as he flees across state lines in a mad dash to save his life
and unravel the mystery to his extraordinary predicament. However, mid way through the film
Thornhill s quandary is further complicated by the introduction of Eve Kendall, a beautiful yet
mysterious woman he encounters on a train during his escape from the authorities and people
trying to kill him. During the dining room scene on the train, Hitchcock expertly uses the camera to

Once the flirtations between the two in intensify, Hitchcock transitions into using close shots,
beginning when Eve discloses her bribe arranging Thornhill being seated with her, and her
subsequent reveal that she knows Thornhill wanted for murder. The use of the close shot
provides a better, more intimate view of their expressions as they banter back and forth and the
sexual innuendos ramp up. Thornhill s thoughts are particularly evident across his face as he
changes from showing interest in the attractive woman across from him, to tension at being
recognized by her, to unabashed glee at the prospect of sleeping with same said beautiful woman,
and finally to alarm as he learns police are boarding the train. In contrast to Thornhill s expressive
looks, Hitchcock shows Eve s as being more controlled and understated. Throughout her linguistic
dance with Thornhill, Eve manages to maintain an air of surety about herself, revealing only those
pieces of information that she wants him to know. She manages to exude a sense of cool certainty
and control during arguably the most sexually suggestive moment of the film: in the only profile
shot of the scene, the camera shows Eve as she slowly blows out the flame on the match Thornhill
uses to light her cigarette, clasping his hand as she does so. This aura of calm calculation gives the
sense that she is in complete control, no doubt due

Pros And Cons Of Self Driving Cars
Technology is ever advancing in our society today. It continues to progress and further itself and it
is benefiting us substantially. It is helping our epistemological understanding on the way the world
operates and how to further our work and understanding of the world. It is benefiting us
economically, making it faster to produce goods and creating new ways to make money. One of the
fastest growing ways to earn a fortune is that of the automobileindustry and the evolution of cars. In
the early 1900 s, Henry Ford start the assembly line for the Model T, which mass produced cars. It
evolves with interchangeable parts, so if something broke it was less expensive to repair. 100 years
later, we now look to make cars able to drive on their own, self driving cars, but is it a good idea?
There are many benefits and just as many negatives to having a self driving car, and this will be a
brief synopsis on what some of these reasons are.
There are several ways that these self driving cars can be manufactured and operated in order to
make them how they are. One method is to attach a copious amount of sensors to the vehicle so
anytime it senses an object coming it ll avoid it. This method wouldn t be very practical,
however, because oncoming traffic would run the car off the road. There would also be no way to
keep the vehicle in the road because there would be nothing to keep the vehicle on the road. Or,
possibly, the sensors could go bad if they get covered with elements anywhere in

False Assumptions Analysis
Many of us make false assumptions using little evidence. Most of which are wrong, and some of
which are hurtful. Gossiping and rumors never lead to truth, but they lead to jumping to
conclusions and making fabricated assumptions. From much experience, I have jumped many
conclusions in my day, and have made many assumptions which lead to embarrassment. When I
was in middle school, I made a huge mistake in assuming my best friend (now) was a lying,
nasty, and deceitful person and I truly regretted it. When I started middle school, I was afraid of
making friends. I had terrible experiences with friendships in elementary schools which lead me to
make careful decisions in middle school. I was always bullied by children who came from broken
homes... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
She looked as though she never washed her hair or clothes. Noticing this, my first initial thought
was do not be friends with her because she is not trustworthy. Furthermore, I heard many rumors
about her that stated she was a liar, a cheater, and a stealer. According to Four Tests of an
Argument, my first order of application, the Test of Truthfulness of the Premises, I had assumed
because she was nasty, she would be a terrible friend (135, 136). My use of critical thinking at the
time was nonexistent at the time. The second application is the Test of Logical Strength, and I
assumed that since I heard rumors explaining she was a thief and a liar; plus I already assumed
she was terrible friend because of her lack of cleanliness, she must absolutely be an awful person
(135). As a result of the third application, the Test of Relevance, I assumed her appearance, my
past experiences and the rumors correlated, and they certainly did not (137). Finally, the
application of the fourth test, the Test of Non Circulatory, I had solely depended on the fact that
her appearance and suspiciousness lead to a terrible friendship. I neglected the fact that she did
come from a broken home and she had no way of clean

Desert Biome
Desert Biomes
Denton4
Deserts are mostly found in the east but a few are also found in the western region of the
Americas. They are very hot places with low moisture and barren waste lands. When you think
desert what normally jumps into your head is sand cactus and clear skies with the sun beating
down on you. The maximum temperature for a desert can climb up to 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
The temperature in winter only drops a few degrees and it receives a small amount of humidity.
The average amount of rainfall year round is less than 15 cm. Vegetation is very rare, it s mostly
restricted to ground hugging shrubs and woody trees. All the leaves are replete. Typical animals
include small nocturnal carnivores. There are also insects, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

They will eat insects and reptiles. Most coyotes live alone or in pairs, but may live in larger
groups. Mainly their only predator is mountain lions, but more recently it is developing into
humans as well. There are many ways human activities can impact the desert biome, at least where
there is an existing ecosystem. Development by mining or residential use is one way, as would be
diverting the limited water supplies for agricultural use elsewhere. Humans can damage the desert
ecosystem if they use the areas for recreation in an unwise fashion.
Off road riding (4x4 and dirt bikes) can damage desert plants and pollute the soil, as well as
disrupting the activities of wildlife. Diverting water supplies, which are already likely scarce, can
prevent infrequent rainfall from reaching the native plants. Killing rodents or predators that invade
farms impacts the food chain that exists in the desert. Although it may not appear so, most deserts
support fragile ecosystems that are easily damaged by roads, mineral refuse, or oil contamination
that can come from industries or mines.

The Death Of A Man
He Who Goes Unknown
It was a dark, cold morning, around two or three, when a piercing scream was heard from within
a woods. It was the scream of a man, and it would be the last sound he ever made before his very
unfortunate death. The man would never be seen again by anyone who tried to search, unless they
were smart enough to search for every tiny clue left behind. It was now six in the morning when
the sun shined through Arthur s window. His phone rang, which caused him to wake. He blindly
reached over to the table beside his bed, picking up the phone before he answered it, sitting up in
his bed.
Hello?...
A shaky voice replied to his answer.
Yes, hello. I need your help, and I need it now. Someone broke into our house and... Show more

I just want you to help me find my brother, please!
Arthur sighed.
Could you tell me where you live? I am sure I could investigate and try to see who broke in.
Of course. I live down Maple Street. House number is 880.
I see. That should be nearby. I will arrive as soon as I can.
Thank you so much.
And with that, Arthur hung up the phone, placing it on the table once again. He made his way out
of bed, and began to get dressed as quickly as he could, and ran a brush through his hair to tame it
somewhat. His own brother, Allistair, woke due to the noise Arthur made.
Another case?...
Yes. Someone s brother went missing when a stranger broke into their house. I am going to
investigate, as usual. I am sorry, but I have no time to chit chat. I must go.
Arthur then grabbed up a briefcase, threw on a coat, and took off outside, giving his older brother
no time to ask any more questions.
I suppose I could walk there... His house should not be far if the given address was correct.
Arthur began to walk down the street, looking at the signs with street names until he found Oak
Street. He then began to look at all the different houses, looking for one with the number 880. Not
much later, he found the house, and walked up to the door, knocking on the door with his fist. No
answer, He knocked a little harder and someone finally answered.
You must be Arthur... Please, do come inside. My son is waiting for you in the living room.
A man stood before

Pros And Cons Of Influenza Vaccines
The influenza or flu, is a respiratory infection that has A or B viruses. The symptoms include
soreness, cough, chills, fever, sweating, and most cold symptoms. A way to prevent the flu is to
get the influenza vaccination. Influenza vaccines are essential to all people because the flu can
be dangerously fatal to some people. But the real question is: should flu shots be mandatory for
nurses? As it was stated before, it is essential to all people. Which means all workers in the
hospital society should have to get it. Apprehending how the flu shot is inserted and how it works
is important. It is inserted by a syringe, and for people 3 years and older, the syringe should be
filled with an inoperative flu at approximately 0.5 mL. Two weeks... Show more content on

It is not likely for it to cause the Guillain Barre syndrome. The influenza vaccination may not be
100% effective for some people, but that does not mean it is not 100% effective for others. It
affects people differently because no one has the same strains. It is much smarter for people to
get the shot rather than taking a risk of getting the fatally dangerous virus. It should most
definitely be required for all healthcare workers, in any region, to get the flu vaccination or jab.
Anyone who wants to be a real doctor or nurse should not want to jeopardize their patients or even
their own family by putting them on the line of any virus. It should be considered selfish because
it is their job to keep their patients healthy and happy. The should protect them from any bacterial
diseases or viruses. This will probably always be argued in hospital arguments whether flu shots
should be mandatory for the workers. One thing for sure is that healthcare workers should always
put their patients

Analysis Of Jersey Shore
Desiree Todd
ENG 103
Professor Holod
2 October, 2017
Jersey Shore Summer is the pinnacle of almost every American s vacation time. Warm weather,
beaches, Fourth of July, and summer parties. This might not be the reality of most American s
summer, but it is for the cast of Jersey Shore. Jersey Shore is a reality television show, which was
aired by MTV (Music Television) from 2009 to 2012, and showcased a group of six roommates
and the time they spend together in the Shore House located in New Jersey over summer. These
roommates include Nicole (Snooki) Polizzi, Jennifer (JWoww) Farley, Sammi Giancola, Mike
The Situation Sorrentino, DJ Pauly D, Ronnie Ortiz Magro, Vinny Guadagnino, and Angelina
Pivarnick. The specific episode being analyzed is episode 4, season 1 Fade To Black. In this
episode, the casts is still trying to get to know each other a little better and start showing their
true colors. Jersey Shore targets an adolescent audience and tries to portray a style of care free
living. However, the cast demonstrates stereotypical gender roles and an unrealistic life of
partying to relay this message. It is of popular opinion that Jersey Shore can be a bad influence on
their adolescent viewers. The reality TV show Jersey Shore uses stereotypical gender roles when
expecting a certain physique from a partner. The women are expected to put makeup on, style their
hair, and wear a short, tight fitting dress when going out partying. This routine does not only abide

  • 2. Compare And Contrast Mary Wollstonecraft And Leila Ahmed Mary Wollstonecraft and Leila Ahmed In Europe or in Muslim countries, the most progressive writers, philosophers and intellectuals were always a source of societal development. Their revolutionary thoughts were new and often could not be accepted by their audience immediately. However, usually next generations did not started to understand and accept them, but even applied and based the newest and most progressive theories on them. Mary Wollstonecraft and Leila Ahmed are two examples that illustrate this viewpoint on practice. One representing the eighteenth century literature of the Great Britain and the other coming from last century Arab world, both women struggled for women s rights and attempted to portray the life seen through female eyes, each within her own historical and social context. The present paper aims at comparing and contrasting Wollstonecraft and Ahmed in terms of their intellectual engagement, societal and historical input, as well as their most important aspects. Having two similar philosophies developed, these women symbolize progressivism, courage and modern approach which challenges current stereotypes in the societies the authors belonged to.... She struggled for the rights of women to study and to freely choose their activity and their position in a relationship. One of her profound achievements besides her writings was the fact that she has opened a school near London to attempt fulfilling her ideas on practice. • 3. Children Dealing with Life and Death Most children ponder the thought of what life would be like without their parents. They imagine how amazing and fun a life filled with jokes and no rules would be. Not even having to go to school if you did not want to. Except this is not how life works. When a parent dies and the reality sets in, it quickly shows us that life is not all fun and games. The death of a parentis a devastating reality for any young child to bare. This abrupt reality may have long lasting effects as each child has their own unique way of perceiving life s events. In the blink of an eye ones world may be completely twisted around. Another type of death is one by tragedy that can be unexpected and can be more devastating than prolonged death in that it occurs suddenly and without notice. More often than not parents die unexpectedly and their children are left behind in a big scary world with no guidelines on how to survive. In part this is because parents do not expect to die while their child or children are still young. Planning ahead for the future can be difficult for parents emotionally as well as culturally and in some cases even financially. Initially when a parent dies it seems as if they have all the support in the world by people who love them. Most people seem to think that after a year or more children should be well adjusted, happy and have made it through their traumatic loss. A child s perspective may seem different in fact they may feel more alone. A child named Abby had this to say about that topic The pain got worse! Because the initial shock wears off, people stop coming to your house, and you are left....with yourself (Simon, Johnson 49). What most people do not realize is that they still are not okay. No one can completely prepare for the unknown when a child loses a parent no one can predict how each child will grieve. The caretaker of the child who is grieving has the responsibility of trying to understand the child s thoughts or questions. When a child s parent has died adjusting to a new way of life can be extremely difficult ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. The Satire Of Knighthood In Don Quixote Don Quixote is a story of a chivalrous knight. The story highlights the satire of knighthood and the tragedy of following your dreams. Cervantes is an older man who has given his life to books and knowledge, especially books on knighthood and chivalry. He decides to embark on his journey into knighthood at the age of 50, changing his name to Don Quixote. As Don Quixote travels through the journeys of knighthood he ll learn many people don t appreciate chivalry. Not all knights were chivalrous. Many knights abused power, went against the law, and were greedy. Some arguably un chivalrous knights put Cervantes, the author of Don Quixote, into prison. Don Quixote is everything a knight should be, he strives to do everything mentioned in the Knights Code of Chivalry such as protecting the weak, living with honor, not to crave award, being honest, respect women and to never refuse a challenge. Don Quixote does all of this to the best of his ability, which brings the humor because he is a 50 year old man trying to fight with a broken lance. Don Quixote also wears armor that isn t quiet up to standard. The first thing he did was to clean up some armour that had belonged to his great grandfather, and had been for ages lying forgotten in a corner eating with rust covered with mildew...but he perceived one great defect in it, that it had no closed helmet, nothing but a simple morion. This deficiency, however, his ingenuity supplied, for he contrived a kind of half helmet of pasteboard which, fitted on to the morion, looked like a whole one (Miguel de Cervantes). Mordecai Richler uses this device often. This makes the novel a dramatic comedy, even though the story shares a darker and more serious message. Greed is one of Duddy Kravitz central issues throughout the book, as it is something he struggles to keep under control. • 8. Analysis Of Marjorie Prime Production Response B: Marjorie Prime 1. The main question Marjorie Prime opens for the audience is, what can technology do for the human experience? The answer to this question is tricky, but I think it was covered well throughout the play by focusing on the idea of, what would you say to a person you loved if they were still here? First, the definition of the human experience is all of the emotions and events someone will experience throughout their lifetime; examples fitting for this play are grieving and death. The first moment from Marjorie Prime where I felt the meaning was the first time we see Walter Prime. Walter Prime is clean cut and smooth in his dark blue suit and oxford shoes. He could pass for human, but his voice is eerily like that of a male Siri on iPhones. The whole idea of getting a prime for Marjorie was so that when her memory is totally gone from her mind, it will still be in the mind of the prime, and then he can feed her back her memories. The prime is in the form of Marjorie s husband, Walter, when he was in his thirties. Both of these elements of the prime give Marjorie back some companionship other than her daughter, Tess, and Tess s husband, John. We learn later on in the playthat Marjorie lost her son, Damien, to suicide. The prime is able to help Marjorie s human experience by not relaying the painful memories of him back to her. He in turn indirectly takes away her grief because other people can add or delete Marjorie s ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 11. Analyzing Precise Electronic Structure Of The Different... The core aim of the present work is to completely analyze precise electronic structure of the five different doped BaTiO3 systems and the bonding interactions between the constituent atoms. This aim is achieved successfully by adopting maximum entropy method (MEM). In this section, the importance of electrondensity studies in structure analysis, the formalism of MEM method, the principle, MEM methodology followed in this work to elucidate the electron density are given elaborately. 1.9.2.1 Electron density The electron density is a quantum mechanical observable, that can be measured through scattering experiments, in particular X ray diffraction from the crystals. The possibility of measuring charge density in a crystalline system from its X ray diffraction pattern was conceived several years ago when Debye and Scherrer explained the existence of halos in a powder photograph where the images of the electronic orbit around the atoms [Debye et.al., 1918]. Electron density is the measure of probability of an electron being present at a specific location. The regions of electron density are usually found around the atoms and its bonds. The probability of locating an electron at one point (or) another can be calculated quantum mechanically. This calculation gives a quantity called electron density. Electron can be viewed as a stationary wave (or) a cloud of negative charges. The electron density is considered as a periodic function of position in a crystal, reaches to a ... My Proposal: Focal points: Picking пЃ¶Order is placed by a customer online/phone пЃ¶WMS (warehouse managing system) organizes the order into pick lines/pick list. пЃ¶Based on how the warehouse is set up we move forward with following picking strategies: пѓ By SKU (stock keeping unit): inventory is identified by these SKU. Pro: Items are listed in order which will minimize backtracking Con: A lot of time spent on transit, errors can be common and you need to train people on location codes. Ex. SKU beginning with 123 is situated in which aisle. пѓ By Location: each item is paired with a location ID. Pro: Knowing where the item is better then SKU and software can improve productivity Con: transit time is still an issue пѓ By Zone (pick and pass): workers assigned to a zone and once they complete their portion it is pass over to the next person until completion. Pro: Reduces travel time of a an individual Con: Must have a sophisticated WMS I would suggest using the zone method for organizing the warehouse as well as picking items as this puts us in a position regardless of city or location to succeed. If we are setting up shop in CA or NY we can bring this same methodology to any new warehouse and since we began with the most sophisticated WMS already; it ensures that 20 years from now we will still have something that is function. • 16. Romeo And Juliet Reading Analysis Introduction: How d He Do That? Recognizing patterns can make reading easier by helping me comprehend what it is that I am reading. Memory. Symbol. Pattern. These are the three items that, more than any other, separate the professional reader from the rest of the crowd. (Foster xxvii). When I recognize the patterns that the author used when writing, I am able to better understand the structure of the chapter, the plot of the story, the point of view of all the characters and the language used. A time when my appreciation for a literary work was enhanced by my understanding of a symbol or pattern was when I was reading Shakespeare s Romeo and Juliet. Shakespeare wrote in iambic pentameter whenever a character of a higher class spoke. It was easier to understand and keep track of who is who when I understand if what I was reading had a meter or not. It made it easier to decipher whether the prince was talking or a servant was. Also, recognizing the pattern of Romeo and Juliet finishing each other s sentences in iambic pentameter made reading that great play a bit easier for me to understand. Chapter 1: Every Trip Is a Quest (Except When It s Not) The 5 aspects of the QUEST are (a) a quester, (b) a place to go, (c) a stated reason to go, (d) challenges and trials en route, (e) a real reason to go there. The article High School Struggle to Tackle Safety on the Football Field by Kendrick Calkins caught my attention. The article started out as an assignment but ended up being something I was very interested in learning more about. Three questions popped in my head the moment t I read this particular article; what happens to the boys who end up having a head injury? Why does it happen? And how does the family feel? What happens to the boys who have the head injury? In high school football you never want to give up or quit, so many boys who obtained an injury like that continues to play. But in some cases a lot of young boys are dying to this head injury, because instead of stopping and treating the injury they continue to play. There are rarely any players who actually stop playing because of one head injury. For example there was a player who obtained a head injury and did not stop playing and the consequence for that was his young life. No 19th century writer had greater psychological insight or philosophical depth. None speaks more immediately and passionately to the mood and tone of the present century. This essay will discuss how Dostoyevskys intent to portray a truly beautiful soulmanifests itself in the novel The Idiot, and access Dostoyevsky s success or failure in achieving his intention. This would suggest that Myshkin could not possibly embody beauty since he is ineffectual and destructive and ultimately inadvertently assists a murder of a physically beautiful woman. I will try to show in my essay though that although this is a deliberately pessimistic and truthful hypothesis, Dostoyevsky does portray a truly beautiful soul . The proposal of The Idiot is to expose the contradiction between worldly and heavenly values: a saint , like Prince Myshkin, is considered an idiot . He doesn t see what everybody sees, because he has got his eyes set not in other people s faces, but in their souls. Just like the author, he is a psychologist: and a psychologist not only with a complete understanding of every individual s minds, but also full of compassion for each one of their failures. Once again, we see the triad compassion/forgiveness/love as the main message of the book. Prince Myshkin is Dostoyevsky s positive character. The game of Loveand Chance (also called Le Jeu de l amour et du hasard in French), is a romantic comedygenre, and the main subject of it is love. It was first performed on the 23rd of January 1730 at the Comedie Italienne, where Marivaux s plays were mostly performed. It is also seen that a couple abandons their baby in the enthusiasm to join the other parents in singing. Much of the film s satire and many of the songs depict how people refuse to accept responsibility and the tendency to look for someone else to blame .It should be noted in the film movies, government, society, foreigners, and Satan are all blamed leading Kyle to remark: whenever I get in trouble, you go off and blame everybody else. But if you have a toddler that you must take with you, it will present a set of unique problems. You will need to keep your toddler occupied, safe, and entertained. Here s how. 1. Don t try and travel too far at one time with a toddler in the car. Three hours of traveling is about the limit for a toddler. You will then need to stop and get out of the car. Give the toddler some time to move around a bit and get some fresh air. The exercise will do him good and he may get tired out enough that he may sleep during the next leg of the trip. Be sure to bring some snack foods with you to give him something to munch on. 2. Also consider where your toddler will sleep. Is he used to sleeping on something other than a bed? If he is, then you don t have anything to worry about. But if he isn t, then you may need to do some thinking concerning sleeping arrangements. 3. Be careful where you camp. I don t think you want to be too close to a lake or pond. Your toddler could wander in that direction very quickly without you noticing. In fact, you need to keep an eye on him constantly. There are many hazards in a campingenvironment that could injure him. 4. Be sure to make the trip fun for the toddler. Try and arrange things that will be fun for him to do. Theoretical Approaches To Personality Analysis While reading through chapter eleven of my psychology textbook, I discovered that the four main theoretical approaches to personality include the psychodymanic approach, the triat approach, the social congnitive approach, and lastly, the humanistic psychology approach. The first theory the book establishes is the psychodymanic apporach, also known as Frued s Theory, states that a person s personality is not due to a specific set of factors but rather that personality is determined by many factors such as a human s drives for food, sex, aggression, ect., as well as a person s unconscious processes, and a person s early childhood influences, most specifically a person s parents or gaurdians. I also scored almost equally on the lion personlity which means that while I am mostly an otter I also have very developed skills in leading. The trait theory, I believe, is the easist way of desribing a person s personality because you do not have to look into a person s past to determine why a person s personaity is the way it is but rather the trait view just observes a person s personality. The trait theory though falls though because it does not expain why people act the way they do or why they have prejudices. The social cognitive approach argues that a person s persoanity is learned whether than inherit our personaities. This follows through with some ideas in gender theory stating that a person s gender traits are also learned by society than inherited. This also releates to Frued s theory of parent involvment in a human s personality because a person s parents will be most around a child generally in that child s early development which allows for that child to generally delevop the traits of their parents and then hold on to those traits throughout their ... On the third day of my service at the vacation bible camp as a teen leader, there was a six year old kid came and asked me a questionafter the mass. I know the kid was not expecting the answer Yes again, so I gave him another answer. I told him told every prayer will be heard by God, but God would choose the best plan for you even though the plan is not always what we want. • 41. False Assumptions Analysis Many of us make false assumptions using little evidence. Most of which are wrong, and some of which are hurtful. Gossiping and rumors never lead to truth, but they lead to jumping to conclusions and making fabricated assumptions. From much experience, I have jumped many conclusions in my day, and have made many assumptions which lead to embarrassment. When I was in middle school, I made a huge mistake in assuming my best friend (now) was a lying, nasty, and deceitful person and I truly regretted it. When I started middle school, I was afraid of making friends. I had terrible experiences with friendships in elementary schools which lead me to make careful decisions in middle school. I was always bullied by children who came from broken homes... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... She looked as though she never washed her hair or clothes. Noticing this, my first initial thought was do not be friends with her because she is not trustworthy. Furthermore, I heard many rumors about her that stated she was a liar, a cheater, and a stealer. According to Four Tests of an Argument, my first order of application, the Test of Truthfulness of the Premises, I had assumed because she was nasty, she would be a terrible friend (135, 136). My use of critical thinking at the time was nonexistent at the time. The second application is the Test of Logical Strength, and I assumed that since I heard rumors explaining she was a thief and a liar; plus I already assumed she was terrible friend because of her lack of cleanliness, she must absolutely be an awful person (135). As a result of the third application, the Test of Relevance, I assumed her appearance, my past experiences and the rumors correlated, and they certainly did not (137). Finally, the application of the fourth test, the Test of Non Circulatory, I had solely depended on the fact that her appearance and suspiciousness lead to a terrible friendship. I neglected the fact that she did come from a broken home and she had no way of clean ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

They are very hot places with low moisture and barren waste lands. When you think desert what normally jumps into your head is sand cactus and clear skies with the sun beating down on you. The maximum temperature for a desert can climb up to 120 degrees Fahrenheit. The temperature in winter only drops a few degrees and it receives a small amount of humidity. The average amount of rainfall year round is less than 15 cm. Vegetation is very rare, it s mostly restricted to ground hugging shrubs and woody trees. All the leaves are replete. Most coyotes live alone or in pairs, but may live in larger groups. Mainly their only predator is mountain lions, but more recently it is developing into humans as well. There are many ways human activities can impact the desert biome, at least where there is an existing ecosystem. Development by mining or residential use is one way, as would be diverting the limited water supplies for agricultural use elsewhere. Humans can damage the desert ecosystem if they use the areas for recreation in an unwise fashion. Off road riding (4x4 and dirt bikes) can damage desert plants and pollute the soil, as well as disrupting the activities of wildlife. Diverting water supplies, which are already likely scarce, can prevent infrequent rainfall from reaching the native plants. Killing rodents or predators that invade farms impacts the food chain that exists in the desert. Although it may not appear so, most deserts support fragile ecosystems that are easily damaged by roads, mineral refuse, or oil contamination that can come from industries or mines. • 43. The Death Of A Man He Who Goes Unknown It was a dark, cold morning, around two or three, when a piercing scream was heard from within a woods. It was the scream of a man, and it would be the last sound he ever made before his very unfortunate death. The man would never be seen again by anyone who tried to search, unless they were smart enough to search for every tiny clue left behind. It was now six in the morning when the sun shined through Arthur s window. His phone rang, which caused him to wake. He blindly reached over to the table beside his bed, picking up the phone before he answered it, sitting up in his bed. Hello?... A shaky voice replied to his answer. Yes, hello. I need your help, and I need it now. Someone broke into our house and... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... He made his way out of bed, and began to get dressed as quickly as he could, and ran a brush through his hair to tame it somewhat. His own brother, Allistair, woke due to the noise Arthur made. Another case?... Yes. Someone s brother went missing when a stranger broke into their house. I am going to investigate, as usual. I am sorry, but I have no time to chit chat. I must go. Arthur then grabbed up a briefcase, threw on a coat, and took off outside, giving his older brother no time to ask any more questions. I suppose I could walk there... His house should not be far if the given address was correct. Arthur began to walk down the street, looking at the signs with street names until he found Oak Street. He then began to look at all the different houses, looking for one with the number 880. Not much later, he found the house, and walked up to the door, knocking on the door with his fist. No answer, He knocked a little harder and someone finally answered. You must be Arthur... Please, do come inside. My son is waiting for you in the living room. A man stood before ... The symptoms include soreness, cough, chills, fever, sweating, and most cold symptoms. A way to prevent the flu is to get the influenza vaccination. Influenza vaccines are essential to all people because the flu can be dangerously fatal to some people. But the real question is: should flu shots be mandatory for nurses? As it was stated before, it is essential to all people. Which means all workers in the hospital society should have to get it. Apprehending how the flu shot is inserted and how it works is important. It is inserted by a syringe, and for people 3 years and older, the syringe should be filled with an inoperative flu at approximately 0.5 mL. Two weeks... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... It is not likely for it to cause the Guillain Barre syndrome. The influenza vaccination may not be 100% effective for some people, but that does not mean it is not 100% effective for others. It affects people differently because no one has the same strains. It is much smarter for people to get the shot rather than taking a risk of getting the fatally dangerous virus. It should most definitely be required for all healthcare workers, in any region, to get the flu vaccination or jab. Anyone who wants to be a real doctor or nurse should not want to jeopardize their patients or even their own family by putting them on the line of any virus. It should be considered selfish because it is their job to keep their patients healthy and happy. The should protect them from any bacterial diseases or viruses. This will probably always be argued in hospital arguments whether flu shots should be mandatory for the workers. One thing for sure is that healthcare workers should always put their patients ...
