A Study On Private Equity Investments
The last few decades have witnessed massive evolution of private equity (PE) investing from the
small niche it used to be to the significant industry it is today. Currently, PE plays an essential role
in the economy; it enhances innovation and growth in expanding firms or promising start ups, as
well as by nurturing the restructuring of companies that are already mature (e.g., Davila et al.,
2003; Cressy et al., 2007). Private equityinvesting has been acknowledged as a new and proficient
form of organisation that generates economic efficiencies through a superior governance
framework. Due to its ability to offer benefits in terms of diversification as well as return relative to
traditional stock and bond market investments, PE has become... Show more content on

Based on Talmor Vasvari (2012), in spite of the comparatively small number of vehicles, the
improvement is striking since some of the largest and most prominent private equity vehicles, such
as KRR and Blackstone, have preferred to go public. From an academic angle, the surfacing of
listed private equity vehicles drastically increases the opportunities for scrutinizing an industry that
is famous for being notoriously private.
Similar to PEs in developed markets, sub Saharan Africa experienced a build up of activity that
culminated to the financial crisis. Based on EMPEA (2011), a total of USD 6 billion dedicated
for sub Saharan African funds was raised between 2006 and 2008 by Private equity capital. In
spite of the drastic increases compared with previous years (only USD 159 billion was raised by
sub Saharan African funds between 2000 and 2005), the level of PE in the area is reticent in
global terms. During the same period Sub Saharan Africa accounted for less than four percent of
the USD 159 billion raised for all emerging markets between 2006 and 2008, and less than a fifty
percent of the USD 1.4 trillion raised worldwide by PE funds in the same period. Mergermarket
(2012) insists that in the same period, investment amounts across 47 markets in sub Saharan Africa
totalled USD 8 billion, compared with the USD

Sigmund Freud s Representation of Three Tall Women Essay
A Deeper Understanding of Three Tall Women
According to Sigmund Freud, psychoanalysis is a procedure for the investigation of mental
processes which are almost inaccessible in any other way (Fodor and Gaynor 147). It becomes a
deeper contrast of a person s mentality to consider the design of interplay within the urging and
checking forces of the conscious and unconscious (Fodor and Gaynor 147). Freud s representation
of Three Tall Women, relate the characters by the neuroses that sometimes result from the
suppression of memories and desires too painful to deal with (Freud, The Dependent Relationship
of the Ego). While not completely opposing religion as a factor in the conscious and unconscious,
Freud does claim that ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The play expresses the idea of virtue and C s hope of avoiding the fate of A, which in turn shows
that there exists a strong desire to maintain a life that consists in pleasing an authoritative figure or
higher power (such as God). It may be discovered, with the help of the analytical mind of Carl Jung,
that the study of religious experience [can] be regarded...as the study of the fundamental, natural
and therapeutic psychic process, in which the individual seeks self knowledge, self regulation,
and self fulfillment (Palmer 109). Freud teaches us his idea of the ego, superego, and the id. The
ego consists of the conscious thought, which is understood as the cartoon character [that] has a
devil on one shoulder and an angel on the other (Freud, The Dependent Relationship of the Ego).
Literally speaking, character A was faced with the battle between devil and angel, good and evil,
and it is the branches of herself in B and C that such a contrast is shown.
Character C is the object of the angel and represented by innocence, the character traits of a child,
because she is the little one, the character with the least amount of experience in the world (Albee
39). While Freud may claim that this character represents the id in that she takes the majority of her
influence from the unconscious part of her mind that says what she wants, Jung looks at the
character with the idea of an archetypal self. Based on Jung s study, archetypes

Great Leap Forward Essay
Great Leap Forward was a movement during China s second Five Year Plan led by Communist
Party of China from 1958 to 1960, in order to improve the current situation of poverty and
backwardness in China at that time. Although it started with a good intention, the result of the
Great Leap Forward was disappointing. It was totally a mistake made by Mao during the
exploration of socialist that it brought a disaster to the Chinese economy and people s standards of
living.
The causation of this failure event was complex and it is a topic worth many historians studying.
Many historians concluded that the failure of the Great Leap Forward was mainly because of the
errors made by Communist Party of China on the working policy, their lack of ... Show more

The initiation of Great Leap Forward was based on the basic situation and the information
provided by individuals and collectives at that time in China. Before the launch of Great Leap
Forward, the current status of Chinese economy was quite optimistic. The development of
agricultural cooperatives was so rapid that the number of cooperatives increased almost 45 times
from 300 to over 14,000 in a short 2 year period. In addition, China had just achieved great
success in the First Five Year Plan. The average annual increase rate of the national income
reached over 8.9 percent from 1953 to 1957. These outcomes and achievement gave Mao an
impression that people have the capacity to complete the high indicators he set and made him feel
that the new climax for the socialist masses is coming and all the cadres should energetically lead
the movement in a planned way.
However, some individuals and local cadres were not honest about the output they made. People
used to tell the good news only and hide the bad news to please superiors. Data and output were
often exaggerated. For instance, the total food production in four provinces was reported to the
central government as 66.8 billion in 1952, which seemed unrealistic. Although people intended to

Pros And Cons Of Keeping Exotic Animals
Exotic Animals Wild and Dangerous February 16 2009,A normal day for Charla Nash when at 3:40
p.m. went to her friends house, when a chimp attacked her mauled her face and almost killed
her. This unprompted attack from the chimp is another case of wild animals going wild.Being
underestimated and raley taken care of by their untrained owners, exotic animals are dangerous wild
animals, taken from their natural home to be put in theses situations.Exotic animals are not pets
,they re not tame and they are not harmless.Exotic animals should not be allowed to be kept as
pets and this is why. In most states people are able to keep exotic animals even though there are
many incidents involving exotic animals. This includes an incident when in Texas a four year old
was mauled by his aunt s petmountain lion,or in Nebraska when a 34 year old man was strangled
to death by his pet snake. The list goes on and on but my point is that these so called pets are very
dangerous wild animals not to be kept as pets. Not only does owning exotic pets harm people but it
also hurts the animals to.Their is at least 5000 tigers alone most owned by private owners, while

Essay on Figurative Language in A Work of Artifice
Figurative Language in A Work of Artifice by Marge Piercy
A clever trick, crafty device, or stratagem is how Webster s Encyclopedia of Unabridged
Dictionary of the English Language defines Artifice. Marge Piercy definitely used crafty techniques
in writing A Work of Artifice
. In this poem, Piercy reflects on the growth of a bonsai tree,
considering the molded existence of what it is to what it could have naturally been. With deeper
analysis of this poem, the correlation between a bonsai tree and the shaped role of women within
society becomes evident. The poet introduces one specific metaphor in the beginning, comparing
the growth of a bonsai tree to the development of women. This single metaphor is supported
throughout ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Every day as he whittles back the branches. This line from Piercy s poem produces a vivid and
detailed picture in the imagination of its readers. Readers visualize an incredibly precise little
gardener, as he diligently prunes the bonsai tree. Another of Piercy s lines is, could have grown
eighty feet tall on the side of a mountain till split by lightning. Again the reader is provided with
detailed illustrations and sounds that correlate with the picture. In this line, for instance, a
magnificent tree high above the skyline, destroyed both by a visual bolt of lightening and a
booming crack of thunder can be seen. Examples of imagery are abundant throughout Piercy s
entire poem. As readers look at the poem externally, the imagery is directly related to a vision of the
bonsai tree. With further internal analysis, it becomes evident that there is slight ambiguity within
these lines, lending themselves to have connotative meanings. In such a way, the sense provoking
images the writer includes relate not only to describing a bonsai tree, but also to explaining the role
of women within society.
Specifically, the double meanings of the imagery can be deciphered through examination of the
writer s use of metaphors. Each of the descriptions about the bonsai tree can be applied to women.

Compare And Contrast Religion And Christian Science
Christianity is similar to Christian Science in many ways, but it s also very different.
By describing Christianity, by describing Christian Science and eventually comparing them, you
will see the similarities and differences. These are two popular religions and many people follow
them around the world.
Christianity is one of the Abrahamic faiths, Christians believe in one God and that Jesus is his son
who came down to earth to save them. Christian laws come from the Bible, and the ten
commandments, and they strive to be like Jesus who Christians believe was perfect, Christians
believe in the trinity, which is that God, Jesus, and the Holy Ghost are one person, but different
people at the same time. Christians believe if you repent for your sins and believe in God, then
you will go to heaven, but if you don t you will go to eternal suffering or Hell. Christianity is a
very old religion and many people believe in it today. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Christian Scientists still believe in one God but he doesn t have a material body and he is
everywhere. Mary Baker put herself in Jesus s place so that people think of her of a leader. You
have to get saved everyday to go to heaven, and there is no heaven or hell, it s a mental state,
death is an illusion. In order to see God, you have to go through the Revelator, and that is Mrs.
Eddy. They believe That Jesus was just one of the few profits that come and go, and now Mrs.
Eddy is the profit. Christian Science is unique and has many train of thoughts that you cannot find

Testing the Difference Between the Respondents Demographic...
Testing the difference between the respondents demographic groups As mentioned in chapter 4:
table 4 3, there was a very different between the number of respondents within some demographic
groups, e.g. the gender groups compromised 185 males and 25 females and similarly, the academic
background groups compromised 3 high school, 185 graduate and 85 postgraduate holders.
Therefore, generalising the results of testing the difference between the means of these groups may
be invalid and meaningfulness. However, it could give general indicators about the opinion of each
group regarding the performing the SECI and innovation processes within the Egyptian banks.
In this term, there are two methods to test the difference means between groups ... Show more

In the other hand, the One way ANOVA test is used to test whether three or more groups means
are different. This test is suitable for testing the means difference between the years of experience
groups (≤ 5, 6 10, 11 15, 16 20 and 20yrs), between the academic background groups (high
school, graduate and postgraduate) and between the job title groups (junior, senior, head of
department, auditor, vice manager and manager)
Independent t test results
The t test can be used to test whether two groups are different. The independent t test is used when
there are two experimental conditions (e.g. male and female or public and private banks) and
different participates have been used in each condition (e.g. SECI and innovation processes).
Independent t test table yielded by PASW normally mentions two rows for the test statistics: one
row is labelled Equal variance assumed, while the other is labelled Equal variances not assumed.
Which row is considered is based on the significant of Levene s test for Equality of Variances.
Therefore, if the Levene s test is significant, the Equal variances not assumed row will be used for
the t test. The significant of this difference is based on the significant of the t test. That is, if this
test is significant, it could be included that the difference between the means of these

Football Hooliganism
Football Hooliganism Overview The destructive and unruly behavior of extraordinarily zealous
football fans is referred to as football hooliganism. The participants of football hooliganism who
support their respective football clubs demonstrate all kinds of violent behaviors including
scuffling, sabotage and intimidation (Another sorry outbreak of the England disease, 2004). This
behavior is most often based on the rivalry that exists between different football clubs or teams
and can give rise to great conflicts once the matches have ended and sometimes even before that.
Sometimes when these conflicts arise during the match at the stadium, the people who practice
hooliganism are arrested by the police, meanwhile most of the times the supporters of the rival
teams choose to confront each other at places that are far away from the stadiums so as to get
away from the police arrests. Some immensely violent acts of hooliganism have been seen by the
witnesses by these supporters of football. The conflicts that exist between these people can be as
small as fistfights and sometimes so intense that these people make use of the deadly weapons
against each other. The use of glass bottles, sports bats, pistols, knives, rocks and machetes has also
been seen in football hooliganism. There have been cases in the past when hooliganism and
conflicts inside the stadium during an ongoing football match resulted in panic and injuries were
inflicted on the fans that were there. When these

Essay on Analysis of My Papa s Waltz
In the poem My Papa s Waltz written by Theodore Roethke, the interpretation of the poem depends
on the readers`perspective. Some people think that this poem is one of a happy exchange between
a father and son. Other people believe that this poem has a hidden message of parental abuse. In
my point of view, the imagery and language, the symbolism, and tone in the poem gave me the
impression of the love between the father and son, not of an abusive relationship.
My Papa s Waltz is a poem presented in a form that uses specific images and language to present a
happy memory that a man has of his father, even in a situation where his father was drunk. Words
such as romped (line 5), waltzing (line 4), clinging to your shirt, (line 16) ... Show more content on

In the third stanza, the narrator is remembering some details like the broken knuckle of his father
(line 10), and that his ear was scraping on his father s belt buckle (line 12). As well in the fourth
stanza, the narrator mentions the dirt caked on his father s hand (line 14). These images of the son
imply a hard working father who had just come home from the plant and was spending time with
his little son before putting him to bed. These images also support my point of view that the author
still has pleasant memories of the event, which would not be the case if there was abuse,
As well, the waltz in the story becomes a symbol of an idealized and elusive relationship
between father and son and leads to the title of the poem My Papa s Waltz. The last line of
poem, waltzed me off to bed still clinging to your shirt (line 15 16) infers the boy is very
dependent on his father and shows his father loves him very much. The constant rhythm
throughout the poem gives it a light beat, like a waltz; the reader feels like he is dancing. The
rhythm of poem make a reader feel the joy of a child, not the somber sense of abuse, This is like
a child dancing since there is no complicated structure, Moreover, stresses on words such as dizzy,
easy, buckle, and knuckle give the poem a rather playful feel to the reader. A child who suffered
abuse would not be using happy symbolism to remember his

Analysis Of Madeleine Thien s Do Not Say We Have Nothing
Canada is a nation that prides itself on acceptance, allowing anyone to do anything regardless of
the person or dream. However, what happens to a person if this is not the case? If dreams are
treated the exact opposite, looked down upon by everyone around them. The inevitable
consequences of the denial of one s dreams is demonstrated in Do Not Say We Have Nothing by
Madeleine Thien, where musicians and friends, Sparrow, Kai, and Zhuli, live in an era surrounded
by people who despise what they do. Despite all three responding to the constant hostility in

due to the constant hate she receive. She no longer knows who she truly is anymore, and ultimately

During the Pre Civil war period breweries such as Jacob Best s which later became Pabst Brewing
and Joseph Schlitz Miller Brewing began to operate in brewing plants. This period of technological
revolution begin with the introduction of the steam engine led to changes in transportation and
production (Stack 2000).
The local demands were too small to absorb the output of the plants and the cost for production and
transportation to ship to further away locations were expensive. Also with transportation being slow
and beer having a limited shelf life long distance shipping was not feasible.
The answer to the problem came by way of Adolphus Busch, a wholesaler who had immigrated

Review Of Twelve Steps To A Compassionate Life By Karen...
Compassion means to endure with other person, to put ourselves in somebody s else shoes. It is
a feeling of empathy, which in other words is to feel someone s pain as though if it were our
own. The book Twelve Steps to a Compassionate Life by Karen Armstrong, discusses a set of
different steps people should follow in order to be compassionate. Armstrong emphasizes in the
importance of compassion in the world. The world is surrounded with problems that we do not
know how to solve and by being compassionate to one another we can create a compassionate and
peaceful world. Every person in this earth has the possibility to be compassionate to others and this
includes treating each other a they wish to be treated, which in most cases is with dignity,... Show

As stated before, some of the steps to take into consideration are steps one and three, which are
to learn more about compassion and to have compassion for ourselves. Nevertheless, step seven,
how little we know is another of the crucial steps to create a change in our value system. This
step consists of understanding that we are not always right. There are a lot of problems that need
to be solved in our lives therefore we must examine our ideas by understanding how little we
know. It is a good and important beginning because people are able to listen to one another.
Thinking e know it all only blocks our knowledge and immediately pushes us backwards. Thinking
we know more than other people only creates a feeling of superiority. Giving people the opportunity
to speak their thought while listening to them, leads to respect for others and respect for
ourselves, which is a wonderful opportunity. Armstrong refers to this step as a step that helps
people to become wiser. For instance, Armstrong said that a person might think they know
something when they don t, and someone that does not know it or even think they know it have
a higher possibility of becoming wiser (p. 99). They are more likely to become wiser because they
are open minded where as the other person is blocking all the other ideas because he thinks he is

. The Masoretic Text became one of the first writings of the Old Testament accomplished by a
Jewish sect of scribes, the Masoretes, who lived in cities located in both the Kingdom of Judah
as well as Babylonia. Between 700 to 1000AD, the Masoretes compiled, wrote, copied and
distributed the Masoretic Text with the oldest complete surviving copy, dated 900AD. Saint
Jerome, a priest, theologian and historian, translated the New Testament from Greek to Latin,
from 382 to 384AD, and the Old Testament, from 390 to 405AD, ending with the Latin Vulgate.
This would be the only Holy Bible used by the Catholic Church and later, in 600AD, the church
proclaimed that Latin is the only language spoken when orally reading the Holy Bible. During
his translations he also rearranged the order of the original Hebrew and Greek texts from 32
books to 39 books. Jerome accomplished this by dividing Joshua and Judges into two separate
books, Samuel and Kings into 1 and 2 Samuel along with 1 and 2 Kings, Chronicles into 1 and 2
Chronicles. The Book of Chronicles originally one of the last books of the Old Testament was
rearranged along with the books of Ruth, Ezra and

Infidelity And Relationships
To gain more insight on how social media can cause infidelity in relationships, I searched social
media impact on relationships and an article, written in the summer of 2015, by Lori Ann Wagner,
and published by the Journal of Individual Psychology caught my eye. Wagner s article, When
Your Smartphone Is Too Smart for Your Own Good: How Social Media
Alters Human Relationships
argues that mediated communicationis changing the way that humans interact with each other.
Wagner states that humans desire social connections and the easiest way to meet those needs are
through social media. Humans use their five senses touch, taste, see, hear, and smell to really
understand their environment around them. Social media interferes with our... Show more content

I completely agree with that statement. When one is put in the same shoes as another, they can see
and feel the same emotions that the other portrays. Empathy is important because it bonds the
human connections. Another major point of Wagner s article was that social media can cause less
honest relationships. This is another statement that I found to be true. It is so easy to lie and scam
over the internet because anyone can take the identity of everyone since mediated communication
can block our full understanding of the environment. To debate with her statements, the reason why
People today generally prefer mediated communication rather than personal interaction... (Wagner

who have not grown up with this much technology or social media. In other words, it is much more
simple to have little conversations over technology than to meet face to face every time someone
has to say something. Also, I believe that social media allows a broader spectrum for
communicating with family and loved ones. Wagner also thinks that obsessions with texting,
updating statuses, and using Snapchat are sounding a death knell for real conversation (Wagner

Comparing The Sea Devil, And The Sea Devil And Edward s Rocks
Without the ocean, life as humankind knows it would be impossible. The ocean has provided the
man a bountiful amount of resources. It is easy to think that the big blue is man s friend. Though
with ninety five percent of the ocean unexplored, it is easy to think that it is more than sandy
beaches and volleyball. Stories such as The SeaDevil and Edward s Rocks express the idea that the
sea, as beautiful as it is, can also be equally as powerful and mysterious. Though stories share
similarities they also have differences between their protagonist, conflict, and settings.
The two stories have many similarities though their locations differ. Both take place at night in
a marine area, with both of the protagonists on a pursuit. and Though they take place in different
decades the stories both occur at night. In The Sea Devil, the night is described as Black as a
witch s cat (Gordon, n.d., p. 2). However, unlike Edward s Rocks, The Sea Devil takes place in a
warm Florida bay in late September, whereas Edward s Rocks takes place in a quiet fishing
village of Musgrave Harbour, Newfoundland (Ritson, 1997, p. 300). Edward s Rocks describes
George as a hardy fisherman who hunts for seals for a living with his father and two brothers.
While George and his brothers and father are searching for seals the story says that the sea was
ominous, and... felt uneasy (Ritson, 1997, p. 305), while the protagonist in The Sea Devil night is
described as Dark and silent (Gordon, n.d., p.1).Even though both the stories take place in coastal
locations the two environments have their own unique features, such as the warm Florida bay in
The Sea Devil , where s Edward s Rocks was more of an aggressive northern marine environment.
The conflict in the two stories both can be considered as a person vs environment scenario. The
conflict in Edward s Rocks that George faced was a combination of the weather and navigational
issues. While George his father and brothers are out at sea they used a compass to help them
navigate to Pimming Islands, where they planned to hunt seals. Unfortunately a piece of metal
under the gangboards of their boat which interfered with the compass magnetic field, setting them
of course into a

The Federal Common Law Interpretation
Many of the sources agree that tribal governments should have assumed or inherent adjudicatory
power over non members on tribal land. Indeed, most sources repeat the same arguments with
different justifications. There is a major focus on the history of tribal sovereignty and which is
important to in how it impacts the impending decision in Dollar General v. Mississippi Band of
Choctaw. Several sources focus on Native American tribe s status, as domestic dependent nations
are a major part of how the federal government continues to shrink tribal jurisdiction over non
members on tribal land.
Furthermore, many scholars are questioning the definition of domestic dependent nation the unique
and often confusing legal situation of the Native American tribes. This status leaves states in a
similar situation as states but with a shrinking amount of limited sovereignty. Some claim this is the
federal common law interpretation s failure and that a constitutional approach is necessary to solve
the problems with tribal jurisdiction. These arguments hope that clarity and defined parameters of
jurisdiction will establish a new concrete definition of tribal jurisdiction. Other sources just propose
to continue to follow the common law understanding of tribal jurisdiction with an understanding
that tribes have inherent authority. Although this recognizes the sovereignty of tribes it falls to
recognize the failure of federal common law to come to a consensus on the parameters of this power.

Rp-Us Visiting Forces Agreement
INTRODUCTION The United States and the Republic of the Philippines maintain close ties based
upon the U.S. Philippines Mutual Defense Treaty, the period of U.S. colonization, common
strategic and economic interests, and shared democratic values. The United States long maintained
sizable naval and air forces bases in the country. Although the Philippine Senate voted against U.S.
wishes to close American military installations in 1992, bilateral security cooperation resumed
following territorial disputes between the Philippines and China in 1994 and the launching of the

This was done as a means to obscure the fact that the US intended to deploy troops in the
Philippines with the purpose of launching the second front of the war on terrorism in order to
weaken the Al Qaeda network (Simon, 2002). On January 15, 2002, the United States was able to
send the first post September 11 set of troops outside of Afghanistan to the Philippines. However,
in order for actual warfare to take place, the US had to increase its realm of jurisdiction over the
exercises. It was speculated that this had been done through the signing of a treaty between the
United States and the Philippines, conducted in secret during President Arroyo s visit to the United
States in November of 2001 (Sarmiento,2001). This agreement, now identified as the Military

Cultural Identity Divide
Culture can be defined as a belief that allows you to identify who you are. Thus, through cultre
there is self discovery and belonging in a group of persons who share the same belief system; who
have found themselves and are now seeking to digest more about one another through eachother s
unearthing of one s self. Cultureassists you not only in identifying who you are, but the sort of
people you can surround yourself with due to common interests. In this society; I have witnessed
cultural unity, cultural identitycrisis and moreover a cultural divide and surprisingly all of those
fold under the same umbrella in reagrds to knowing where you stand and those you choose to
stand with. Currently, society is a huge caste system of choices to be made, opinions to be had
and decision making. Often, many are questioned of whose side they are on awhile many don t
have the opportunity to make that decision for they are often placed in a caste based off of
appearances. This generation of millenials confuses the caste system with electronics being in
the forefront of their upbringing; self discovery is no longer going to a park and playing with kids
of similar interests on the playground; but now finding yourself is depicted by the amount of
followers, likes and/ or views you possess. Moreover, society now can also be defined by who you

Neuron Research Paper
Neuron
Anything we do as humans such as thinking, feeling, and hearing would not happen without the
neuron. The neuron sends messages throughout the body when the body is in trouble or pain. The
neuron is a part of the nervous system which makes the body move. There are only three structures
to the neuron; cell body, dendrite, and the axon. With these structures come functions to help the
body think, feel, and hear. When these functions don t work they can cause diseases in which the
body needs to be healthy to work. These are the reasons the neuron is important.
The neuron cell is a part of the nervous system. The nervous system is what makes the body think,
move, or feel pain. Functions within the nervous system are that it receives information, responds
to information, and maintains homeostasis. Homeostasis is when the body is stable. Through the
nervous system the body will receive information like what happens around the environment and it
will check what s going on inside the body. The Stimulus is any change or signal in the
environment that can make an organism react like when somebody scares you (Hall 177). The

Proposal for Overfishing in the Pacific Ocean
Proposal for Overfishing in the Pacific Ocean: For human populations, particularly people in the
poorest countries across the globe, fish is an important source of nourishment and food. As a
result, fisheries catches represent a huge export of energy and mass that can no longer be
utilized by trophic levels that are higher than those fished. For a long period of time, several
human populations across the globe have continued to depend on fish as a significant source of
food and nourishment, which has contributed to widespread overfishing. The widespread
overfishing has in turn resulted in the decrease in the global catch of fish. Nonetheless, the links
between overfishing and food security have remained largely unclear and uncertain. According to
the findings of research, approximately 50 percent of commercial marine species have been
overfished in the past five decades (Srinivasan, Cheung, Watson Sumaila, p.1). The increase in
fisheries catches across the globe has also been fueled by the significant increase in the demand
for food because of the constant increase of human population. While the practice has remained a
major threat to every fish species in the ocean, it has largely contributed to the large migrations by
marine mammals as they seek to get the left over fish. Since the 1950s, there has been an
increasing trend in the number of unsustainable fisheries, which is an indication of the global
geographic expansion of overfishing (Coll et. al., p.1).

Suicide Note Poem Analysis
The poem Suicide Note , written by Janice Mirikitani (1987), talks about a young lady, who has
study in an Asian American female college. The lady, unfortunately, commits suicide by jumping
out her dormitory s window. She left behind a note, citing reasons that led to her actions. After a
critical analysis of the note, her parents were held responsible for her actions; they were
pressurizing her to perform better on her exams. The poem describes the feelings and the emotions
of this young lady, who believes that committing suicideis the only option left to please her parents
and to escape the enormous pressure placed on her. The persona uses a voice in the poem to bring
attention to the suffering she was going through and that led to the devastating event. Voice in poetry
is the strong words of a line or stanza that creates a relationship between the audience and the
persona. Also, voice can be categorized as imagery patterns of sounds created by rhythm, tone, and
diction (Gahern 166). The following is a description of how the voice in Mirikitani s suicide note
help readers understand the imagery, metaphor, sound patterns, tone and dictation.
Ink smeared like bird prints in snow is the first simile that appears in the poem and serve multiple
purposes. The most obvious one is the creation of imagery, where it compares the black words the
persona writes on paper to the bird s foot prints that are left behind when a bird walks on snow.
The imagery alludes to the persona

The Importance Of Birth Order
Have you ever wondered why siblings tend to have such contrasting personalities? This essay will
argue that the birth order affects the kind of person one becomes in various ways, by shaping them
to acquire specific characteristics and prospects that will remain through adulthood. Particular
attention will be given to the significance of family and environment, the ways that birth order
affects the levels of trustfulness, reciprocation and extraversion and finally how it influences the
likelihood of making or supporting new innovations in science. The family environment in which an
individual grows up, has substantial effects on the kind of personthey become later in life. It has
even been argued, that the functional birth order, which is affected by the environment one grows
up in, plays a bigger role in moulding them into the people that they become later in life than the
biological birth order (Sulloway, 1996). Courtiol, Raymond and Faurie (2009) investigated the
significance of birth order on trustfulness and reciprocation of individuals, with their hypothesis
being that birth order would influence adults behaviour towards non kin. The results of the
experiment speak for themselves, as they indicate that a distinct trend can be seen in the
characteristics of people depending on their birth order. According to Sulloway, it has been argued
that the characteristicdifferences the birth order forms, are the consequences of sibling competition
for parental investment

In this argument to determine if Hammurabi s code is just, I agree to say that this set of laws is
not just to the people who it applies to those who were required to follow it. Hammurabi was a

information about everyday life in Babylonia and how Hammurabi keep the town together. He
ruled for 42 years total, 30 years with Babylonia and after defeating Larsa and Marine he became
ruler of almost all of Mesopotamia. Mainly everyone around or in the town of which Hammurabi
ruled was qualified to follow his set of rules which was known as Hammurabi s Code. These laws
went accordingly to three topics family, property, and personal injury.

Does The Right To Religion Include The Right To Impose...
Does the right to religion include the right to impose your views on others? Does it include the
right to impose on customers and patients seeking services that you offer to the public? Does it
include the right for buisnesses to slam the door on customers in their shops, in their bakieries, in
their hospitals because they disagree with the person seeking services personal life? Why is it that
businesses allowed to use religionas an excuse for this blatant discrimination against the LGBTQ
community?
In history, conflicts of this nature are not uncommon; in the civil rights era, we witnessed
resistance to racial integration on basis of religious liberty. Take for example, Piggie Park, a
barbecue franchise in South Carolina. The owner argued that, his religious beliefs compel[ed] him
to oppose any integration of the races whatever. In the case Loving v. Virginia, religion was also
involved with resisting interracial marriage. The court judge had stated that, Almighty God...did not
intend for the races to mix. In every case, the court found the principals of non discrimination to

Taking a Look at Big Data
The amount of data in our world has been rapidly increasing and analyzing these large data sets,
or big data, has become crucial for businesses in increasing their success. Many businesses use big
data to model their business structures, control processes, and run the business. The availability of
this data leads to a more accurate analysis of the target market. More accurate analyses lead to
more confident decision making and better decisions means greater operational efficiencies, cost
reductions and reduced risk. There are many ways in which big data can be successfully
implemented in an organization. Big data allows businesses to segment their target market, creating
more precisely tailored products and services. Big data is also used to conduct controlled
experiments to make better management decisions. Finally, big data can unlock value by making
the captured information transparent and usable at much higher frequency (Manyika, Big data: The
next frontier for innovation, competition, and productivity ). Currently, businesses are so
overwhelmed with the sheer size of information that big data collects that they fail to successfully
utilize this data. Businesses are increasingly turning to big data based visualization tools to better
utilize this information. Visualization based data tools allow businesses to combine data sources to

The General nods.
Archers at the ready! At his signal, a hundred archers take aim toward the center of the magic

of whitestone walk forward with thunderous steps, standing at the corners of the formations. Like a
cornered animal the crack in the sky reacts violently to the attack on it. It sends a green lighting
bolt to the ground and a black portal opens up. The General unsheathes his sword and yells.
AT THE READY! HERE THEY COME! As if on queue monsters from every walk of life being
pouring out of the portal and engaging the knights. The General notices nothing of importance and
calls for the archers to unleash their volley, felling the wave of creatures. Not a breath later more

to a cage and toss it in. The general noticing a few more captures, whistles twice and the Tower

Essay on Gung-Ho Movie and Hofstede
GUNG HO Gung Ho is a movie about the takeover of an American automobile factory in
Hadleyville, Pennsylvania by a Japanese company. The term Gung Ho is a Chinese expression for
work together which is what the movie is about. As the Americans and Japanese attempt to work
together the viewers are able to see the cross cultural conflicts and huge misunderstandings that
happen throughout the movie because of the differences in culture, work attitude, management
styles, and values between the two countries. The movie also goes on to show us exactly what the
two countries think of each other. All of this is brought to you in a very funny and forgiving way
where we see at the end of the movie the two sides come together and achieve a... Show more

His American boss thinks that this is fine but the Japanese boss says no because work will suffer
. This shows you how different countries see things. The Americans think of family concern
over the concern of the company, whereas the Japanese think that being part of a group is a
must and so not working because of your son going to the doctor is not something you should
do, This brings us right to collectivism. Collectivism is doing something not just for yourself but
for the good of everyone involved. It has nothing to do with the individual and everything to do
with the overall group s success. This is what the Japanese value highly. They always reinforce
this throughout the movie about how they will do whatever it takes for the company to do
good. One of many examples of this is when the Japanese show up to play the softball game.
Before the game starts you see the Japanese team working together and participating in a team
warm up. The Americans make fun of this and think of it as something that makes them weaker.
When the game starts you are able to see exactly how this hurts the Americans. The Japanese play
a small ball game and worry about getting runners on base and relying on everyone working
together to get runs on the board. The Americans, who are less team oriented, try to do everything
themselves and try to hit the ball as far and hard as they can every time they come up to bat.

Health And Safety At The Workplace
Health and Safety in the Workplace The health and safety in the workplace for workers has created
a continual concern in the United States since the country was discovered. Although, a healthy and
safe work environment can be described as a work area free of health risks and absent unsafe
conditions. Indeed, the definition encompasses additional legal, moral, ethical issues. Particularly,
reporting safety issues rather than choosing to ignore them, refusing to fall under peer pressure or
fear of retaliation, not accepting bribes and making the conscious decision to report violators of the
rules. Initially, certain accidents and injuries within industries were accepted and considered a
consequence of the job, eventually workers became less accepting of inadequate working
conditions began demanding safer work environments. Therefore, numerous labor unions and
organizations formed throughout the history of the United States intended to resolve and mediate
issues between employees and employers, including the health and safety of the workers in the
workplace. Nevertheless, in an effort to avoid confusion on the accountability of employee health
and safety in the workplace the author of this paper has examined the separate entities of OSHA,
employers and employees. Although, a minute majority of workers believe that OSHA exclusively
is responsible for ensuring the health and safety of workers in the workplace; the alternative belief
is that it is the individual responsibility of

Kellogg s Special K Advertising
arketing and the media effect on young people s decisions significantly. This is largely through the
use of marketing strategies and advertising techniques which play on several key factors in order to
win over their intended audience. These factors include trends, bandwagon, claims, association,
promotion, as well as appeal and many others. By employing these strategies companies aim to
coax, even sometimes completely mislead young people into buying their products. This is evident
in the Kellogg s Special K advertisement.
Throughout the advertisement, a variety of techniques are used to entice the audience in this case
young women into buying the product. For instance, in the ad bright colours such as red and pink
are worn by the female actors in contrast with dull, fruitless white walls. This captures/retains the
viewer s attention, directing it towards the actors slim, idealistic physiques. Consequently, the
advertisement creates an image that those who eat Special K enjoy an ideal body, thus establishing
appeal for the product from many young women.
Another example of marketing strategies during the ad is the use of pathos (emotional appeal). For
instance, the ad slogan you don t just wake up looking fabulous implies that the viewer needs

Stand By Me Themes
The film Stand by Me, directed by Rob Reiner is about four best friends Gordie Lachance, Chris
Chambers, Teddy Duchamp and Vern Tessio who go for an adventure over a labour holiday in
search to find a missing body. Through their journey, they discover their true identity. Reiner
explored many themes throughout the movie but friendship was the most important theme in the
film. It is shown through each of the four boys, and how they have grown closer throughout their
journey in the film. The story Sticks and Stones and Such like, edited by Alice Pung is about an

couldn t I be well, Neil? (p.12). In the related text, Sunil struggles to find his character and loses

  • 2. A Study On Private Equity Investments The last few decades have witnessed massive evolution of private equity (PE) investing from the small niche it used to be to the significant industry it is today. Currently, PE plays an essential role in the economy; it enhances innovation and growth in expanding firms or promising start ups, as well as by nurturing the restructuring of companies that are already mature (e.g., Davila et al., 2003; Cressy et al., 2007). Private equityinvesting has been acknowledged as a new and proficient form of organisation that generates economic efficiencies through a superior governance framework. Due to its ability to offer benefits in terms of diversification as well as return relative to traditional stock and bond market investments, PE has become... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Based on Talmor Vasvari (2012), in spite of the comparatively small number of vehicles, the improvement is striking since some of the largest and most prominent private equity vehicles, such as KRR and Blackstone, have preferred to go public. From an academic angle, the surfacing of listed private equity vehicles drastically increases the opportunities for scrutinizing an industry that is famous for being notoriously private. Similar to PEs in developed markets, sub Saharan Africa experienced a build up of activity that culminated to the financial crisis. Based on EMPEA (2011), a total of USD 6 billion dedicated for sub Saharan African funds was raised between 2006 and 2008 by Private equity capital. In spite of the drastic increases compared with previous years (only USD 159 billion was raised by sub Saharan African funds between 2000 and 2005), the level of PE in the area is reticent in global terms. During the same period Sub Saharan Africa accounted for less than four percent of the USD 159 billion raised for all emerging markets between 2006 and 2008, and less than a fifty percent of the USD 1.4 trillion raised worldwide by PE funds in the same period. Sigmund Freud s Representation of Three Tall Women Essay A Deeper Understanding of Three Tall Women According to Sigmund Freud, psychoanalysis is a procedure for the investigation of mental processes which are almost inaccessible in any other way (Fodor and Gaynor 147). It becomes a deeper contrast of a person s mentality to consider the design of interplay within the urging and checking forces of the conscious and unconscious (Fodor and Gaynor 147). The play expresses the idea of virtue and C s hope of avoiding the fate of A, which in turn shows that there exists a strong desire to maintain a life that consists in pleasing an authoritative figure or higher power (such as God). It may be discovered, with the help of the analytical mind of Carl Jung, that the study of religious experience [can] be regarded...as the study of the fundamental, natural and therapeutic psychic process, in which the individual seeks self knowledge, self regulation, and self fulfillment (Palmer 109). Freud teaches us his idea of the ego, superego, and the id. The ego consists of the conscious thought, which is understood as the cartoon character [that] has a devil on one shoulder and an angel on the other (Freud, The Dependent Relationship of the Ego). Literally speaking, character A was faced with the battle between devil and angel, good and evil, and it is the branches of herself in B and C that such a contrast is shown. Character C is the object of the angel and represented by innocence, the character traits of a child, because she is the little one, the character with the least amount of experience in the world (Albee 39). While Freud may claim that this character represents the id in that she takes the majority of her influence from the unconscious part of her mind that says what she wants, Jung looks at the character with the idea of an archetypal self. Great Leap Forward Essay Great Leap Forward was a movement during China s second Five Year Plan led by Communist Party of China from 1958 to 1960, in order to improve the current situation of poverty and backwardness in China at that time. Although it started with a good intention, the result of the Great Leap Forward was disappointing. It was totally a mistake made by Mao during the exploration of socialist that it brought a disaster to the Chinese economy and people s standards of living. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The initiation of Great Leap Forward was based on the basic situation and the information provided by individuals and collectives at that time in China. Before the launch of Great Leap Forward, the current status of Chinese economy was quite optimistic. The development of agricultural cooperatives was so rapid that the number of cooperatives increased almost 45 times from 300 to over 14,000 in a short 2 year period. In addition, China had just achieved great success in the First Five Year Plan. The average annual increase rate of the national income reached over 8.9 percent from 1953 to 1957. These outcomes and achievement gave Mao an impression that people have the capacity to complete the high indicators he set and made him feel that the new climax for the socialist masses is coming and all the cadres should energetically lead the movement in a planned way. However, some individuals and local cadres were not honest about the output they made. People used to tell the good news only and hide the bad news to please superiors. Data and output were often exaggerated. For instance, the total food production in four provinces was reported to the central government as 66.8 billion in 1952, which seemed unrealistic. Marge Piercy definitely used crafty techniques in writing A Work of Artifice . In this poem, Piercy reflects on the growth of a bonsai tree, considering the molded existence of what it is to what it could have naturally been. In such a way, the sense provoking images the writer includes relate not only to describing a bonsai tree, but also to explaining the role of women within society. Specifically, the double meanings of the imagery can be deciphered through examination of the writer s use of metaphors. Each of the descriptions about the bonsai tree can be applied to women. By describing Christianity, by describing Christian Science and eventually comparing them, you will see the similarities and differences. These are two popular religions and many people follow them around the world. Christianity is one of the Abrahamic faiths, Christians believe in one God and that Jesus is his son who came down to earth to save them. • 9. Football Hooliganism Football Hooliganism Overview The destructive and unruly behavior of extraordinarily zealous football fans is referred to as football hooliganism. The participants of football hooliganism who support their respective football clubs demonstrate all kinds of violent behaviors including scuffling, sabotage and intimidation (Another sorry outbreak of the England disease, 2004). This behavior is most often based on the rivalry that exists between different football clubs or teams and can give rise to great conflicts once the matches have ended and sometimes even before that. Sometimes when these conflicts arise during the match at the stadium, the people who practice hooliganism are arrested by the police, meanwhile most of the times the supporters of the rival teams choose to confront each other at places that are far away from the stadiums so as to get away from the police arrests. Some immensely violent acts of hooliganism have been seen by the witnesses by these supporters of football. The conflicts that exist between these people can be as small as fistfights and sometimes so intense that these people make use of the deadly weapons against each other. The use of glass bottles, sports bats, pistols, knives, rocks and machetes has also been seen in football hooliganism. There have been cases in the past when hooliganism and conflicts inside the stadium during an ongoing football match resulted in panic and injuries were inflicted on the fans that were there. • 10. Essay on Analysis of My Papa s Waltz In the poem My Papa s Waltz written by Theodore Roethke, the interpretation of the poem depends on the readers`perspective. Some people think that this poem is one of a happy exchange between a father and son. Other people believe that this poem has a hidden message of parental abuse. In my point of view, the imagery and language, the symbolism, and tone in the poem gave me the impression of the love between the father and son, not of an abusive relationship. My Papa s Waltz is a poem presented in a form that uses specific images and language to present a happy memory that a man has of his father, even in a situation where his father was drunk. Words such as romped (line 5), waltzing (line 4), clinging to your shirt, (line 16) ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In the third stanza, the narrator is remembering some details like the broken knuckle of his father (line 10), and that his ear was scraping on his father s belt buckle (line 12). As well in the fourth stanza, the narrator mentions the dirt caked on his father s hand (line 14). These images of the son imply a hard working father who had just come home from the plant and was spending time with his little son before putting him to bed. These images also support my point of view that the author still has pleasant memories of the event, which would not be the case if there was abuse, As well, the waltz in the story becomes a symbol of an idealized and elusive relationship between father and son and leads to the title of the poem My Papa s Waltz. The last line of poem, waltzed me off to bed still clinging to your shirt (line 15 16) infers the boy is very dependent on his father and shows his father loves him very much. The constant rhythm throughout the poem gives it a light beat, like a waltz; the reader feels like he is dancing. The rhythm of poem make a reader feel the joy of a child, not the somber sense of abuse, This is like a child dancing since there is no complicated structure, Moreover, stresses on words such as dizzy, easy, buckle, and knuckle give the poem a rather playful feel to the reader. It is a feeling of empathy, which in other words is to feel someone s pain as though if it were our own. The book Twelve Steps to a Compassionate Life by Karen Armstrong, discusses a set of different steps people should follow in order to be compassionate. Armstrong emphasizes in the importance of compassion in the world. The world is surrounded with problems that we do not know how to solve and by being compassionate to one another we can create a compassionate and peaceful world. As stated before, some of the steps to take into consideration are steps one and three, which are to learn more about compassion and to have compassion for ourselves. Nevertheless, step seven, how little we know is another of the crucial steps to create a change in our value system. This step consists of understanding that we are not always right. There are a lot of problems that need to be solved in our lives therefore we must examine our ideas by understanding how little we know. It is a good and important beginning because people are able to listen to one another. Thinking e know it all only blocks our knowledge and immediately pushes us backwards. Thinking we know more than other people only creates a feeling of superiority. Giving people the opportunity to speak their thought while listening to them, leads to respect for others and respect for ourselves, which is a wonderful opportunity. Armstrong refers to this step as a step that helps people to become wiser. For instance, Armstrong said that a person might think they know something when they don t, and someone that does not know it or even think they know it have a higher possibility of becoming wiser (p. 99). They are more likely to become wiser because they are open minded where as the other person is blocking all the other ideas because he thinks he is superior to ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Indeed, most sources repeat the same arguments with different justifications. There is a major focus on the history of tribal sovereignty and which is important to in how it impacts the impending decision in Dollar General v. Mississippi Band of Choctaw. Several sources focus on Native American tribe s status, as domestic dependent nations are a major part of how the federal government continues to shrink tribal jurisdiction over non members on tribal land. Furthermore, many scholars are questioning the definition of domestic dependent nation the unique and often confusing legal situation of the Native American tribes. This status leaves states in a similar situation as states but with a shrinking amount of limited sovereignty. Some claim this is the federal common law interpretation s failure and that a constitutional approach is necessary to solve the problems with tribal jurisdiction. These arguments hope that clarity and defined parameters of jurisdiction will establish a new concrete definition of tribal jurisdiction. Rp-Us Visiting Forces Agreement INTRODUCTION The United States and the Republic of the Philippines maintain close ties based upon the U.S. Philippines Mutual Defense Treaty, the period of U.S. colonization, common strategic and economic interests, and shared democratic values. The United States long maintained sizable naval and air forces bases in the country. Although the Philippine Senate voted against U.S. wishes to close American military installations in 1992, bilateral security cooperation resumed following territorial disputes between the Philippines and China in 1994 and the launching of the Global War on Terrorism in 2002. This was done as a means to obscure the fact that the US intended to deploy troops in the Philippines with the purpose of launching the second front of the war on terrorism in order to weaken the Al Qaeda network (Simon, 2002). On January 15, 2002, the United States was able to send the first post September 11 set of troops outside of Afghanistan to the Philippines. However, in order for actual warfare to take place, the US had to increase its realm of jurisdiction over the exercises. It was speculated that this had been done through the signing of a treaty between the United States and the Philippines, conducted in secret during President Arroyo s visit to the United States in November of 2001 (Sarmiento,2001). This agreement, now identified as the Military Logistical Supports Agreement (MLSA), was rumored to be a document that would allow the United States to return as a permanent military presence in the country (The Philippine Star, 2003). Filipino Congresswoman Imee Marcos has called the MLSA a Trojan horse, which when combined with the controversial Visiting Forces Agreement of February 1998 would lead to the reintroduction of US troops in the Philippines (Philippine Daily Inquirer, ... • 29. Neuron Research Paper Neuron Anything we do as humans such as thinking, feeling, and hearing would not happen without the neuron. The neuron sends messages throughout the body when the body is in trouble or pain. The neuron is a part of the nervous system which makes the body move. There are only three structures to the neuron; cell body, dendrite, and the axon. With these structures come functions to help the body think, feel, and hear. When these functions don t work they can cause diseases in which the body needs to be healthy to work. These are the reasons the neuron is important. The neuron cell is a part of the nervous system. The nervous system is what makes the body think, move, or feel pain. Functions within the nervous system are that it receives information, responds to information, and maintains homeostasis. Homeostasis is when the body is stable. Through the nervous system the body will receive information like what happens around the environment and it will check what s going on inside the body. • 30. Proposal for Overfishing in the Pacific Ocean Proposal for Overfishing in the Pacific Ocean: For human populations, particularly people in the poorest countries across the globe, fish is an important source of nourishment and food. As a result, fisheries catches represent a huge export of energy and mass that can no longer be utilized by trophic levels that are higher than those fished. For a long period of time, several human populations across the globe have continued to depend on fish as a significant source of food and nourishment, which has contributed to widespread overfishing. The widespread overfishing has in turn resulted in the decrease in the global catch of fish. Nonetheless, the links between overfishing and food security have remained largely unclear and uncertain. According to the findings of research, approximately 50 percent of commercial marine species have been overfished in the past five decades (Srinivasan, Cheung, Watson Sumaila, p.1). The increase in fisheries catches across the globe has also been fueled by the significant increase in the demand for food because of the constant increase of human population. While the practice has remained a major threat to every fish species in the ocean, it has largely contributed to the large migrations by marine mammals as they seek to get the left over fish. Since the 1950s, there has been an increasing trend in the number of unsustainable fisheries, which is an indication of the global geographic expansion of overfishing (Coll et. al., p.1). ... • 31. Suicide Note Poem Analysis The poem Suicide Note , written by Janice Mirikitani (1987), talks about a young lady, who has study in an Asian American female college. The lady, unfortunately, commits suicide by jumping out her dormitory s window. She left behind a note, citing reasons that led to her actions. After a critical analysis of the note, her parents were held responsible for her actions; they were pressurizing her to perform better on her exams. The poem describes the feelings and the emotions of this young lady, who believes that committing suicideis the only option left to please her parents and to escape the enormous pressure placed on her. The persona uses a voice in the poem to bring attention to the suffering she was going through and that led to the devastating event. Voice in poetry is the strong words of a line or stanza that creates a relationship between the audience and the persona. Also, voice can be categorized as imagery patterns of sounds created by rhythm, tone, and diction (Gahern 166). The following is a description of how the voice in Mirikitani s suicide note help readers understand the imagery, metaphor, sound patterns, tone and dictation. Ink smeared like bird prints in snow is the first simile that appears in the poem and serve multiple purposes. The most obvious one is the creation of imagery, where it compares the black words the persona writes on paper to the bird s foot prints that are left behind when a bird walks on snow. • 33. The Importance Of Birth Order Have you ever wondered why siblings tend to have such contrasting personalities? This essay will argue that the birth order affects the kind of person one becomes in various ways, by shaping them to acquire specific characteristics and prospects that will remain through adulthood. Particular attention will be given to the significance of family and environment, the ways that birth order affects the levels of trustfulness, reciprocation and extraversion and finally how it influences the likelihood of making or supporting new innovations in science. The family environment in which an individual grows up, has substantial effects on the kind of personthey become later in life. It has even been argued, that the functional birth order, which is affected by the environment one grows up in, plays a bigger role in moulding them into the people that they become later in life than the biological birth order (Sulloway, 1996). Courtiol, Raymond and Faurie (2009) investigated the significance of birth order on trustfulness and reciprocation of individuals, with their hypothesis being that birth order would influence adults behaviour towards non kin. The results of the experiment speak for themselves, as they indicate that a distinct trend can be seen in the characteristics of people depending on their birth order. Collectivism is doing something not just for yourself but for the good of everyone involved. It has nothing to do with the individual and everything to do with the overall group s success.
