This document summarizes a study examining factors associated with long-term survival in patients who underwent esophagectomy for esophageal cancer. 126 patients underwent either surgery alone or surgery plus adjuvant chemoradiotherapy and immunotherapy. Overall 5-year survival was 50.5% and 10-year survival was 38.3%. Adjuvant treatment significantly improved 5-year survival. Cox modeling showed that 5-year survival was significantly associated with T stage, N stage, histology, stage, adjuvant treatment, age, and blood cell factors. Neural network analysis correctly predicted 5-year survival in 100% of cases. Optimal treatment strategies include early detection, experienced surgeons, aggressive surgery, precise prognosis prediction, and adjuvant treatment for high
