How did you integrate technologies –
software hardware and online – in this
project ?

2. While making my Final film I have learned a lot about different technologies
and I have used different types of Hardware and software for making my
final movie and my other media stuff . It was difficult for me at start but as
the season progressed I developed gradually . In the start I learnt how to use
word press ,as it is a site where we post all our movie research and planning
production , preproduction and etc work . In the start it looked weird and it
took time to learn but now I am all good with that . I also interacted with the
other sites such as home media magzine.com , Wikipedia ad etc to collect
information on my research which was given to us and too also take an ideas
on how a good moive made , which genre movies do people more prefer .

3. For making my final movie the first task is to use tripod which I didn’t knew
as this element was never a need in my life before but then as it is a must
need for making a perfect movie so l learnt how to do panning , tilting , how
to take high angle shots and low angle shots . Tripod helped me in taking the
best shots of the movie and made my work more easier in taking shots , as
you can compare my movie with the preliminary activity in which first I was
not familiar with the tripod but when I made my final movie I knew how to
operate it .
I also learnt about the following terms which I never had an idea which
were 180 degree rule , Match on action , digetic non digetic sounds and I
applied these types of things in my movie too .

4. For the production of my film I also learnt how to handle the camera . At first
I didn’t even how to make a video properly in the camera and most of the
times I made blur videos and didn’t even knew most of the camera functions.
For making my final movie I have used Sony cyber shot as I don’t own a Dslr
cameras. This camera is one of the toughest competitors of Dslr cameras and
it helped to make a high quality recording with clear sounds and low lighting
and this camera never made me feel that Dslr are better than this Cyber shot
for me both of the camera are best for making these kind of movies . This
camera adjusted comfortably on my tripod which made it easier for me to
take amazing shots for my movie and I had so hesitations .

5. Then obviously the editing it plays a massive part in my movie without this software
my movie is like nothing and just a raw material . For my movie I have used Adobe
premier pro Cs6 for me it one of the best software I have ever worked on . In this
software I have learned a lot of things such as how to join two clips , how to do
clipping like cutting out all the jump cuts and bad clips out of my movie to look
unique . I also got to know about the transitions in the software and I took time for
me to learn it though I really liked these transitions and it made my movie look even
better . I used fade in fade out transitions . It took me time to adjust with this software
as there were many functions which I was never aware of but with the help of the
teacher and giving it time I learnt it . I also learnt in this software how to add music in
it , how to make a unique title of a movie like my genre is a horror one so I made a
scary title on this software . This software helped me in a way like there were some
videos which were not being edited because of the converter so this told me that this
videos are not right and it wont work on Vimeo when I upload it because of the files
so this software made me do reshoot and gave me the chance to make an even better
movie .

6. For the sounds I only used one website for my movie after doing research as
it has the best sounds there . I used the website called Freesound.org to
download the scary sounds of my movie . I used my friend voice to record the
soul voice as this recording cant be found on internet or the dialogue in
which I want .

7. I also got about the sites such as Vimeo as I didn’t even knew about it , on this website
I upload all of the videos . I have uploaded my rushes , my final movie and the
preliminary activity I did . I uploaded my videos there because it is easier to link it to
word press also we can also get feedback from people over there as I have kept it on
public access this will tell me that did my movie is a good or no and I will get reviews
regarding it .

8. As for my research and planning work I made creative presentations with the help of
some amazing websites such as Prezi and Emaze . I also used Microsoft power point
and Microsoft word at times .
Prezi :-
It is one of the websites I like , I have frequently used Prezi in my presentations and I
have attempted my two evaluation questions on it because it make my answer look
attractive towards the viewer . In the start prezi seems to be complicated but when I
gave my precious time on it and played with it so I got to know how to use it in a best
possible way in my evaluation answers I have done my best to make it look good and
especially in those answers I have add soft music too to make it look decent
Emaze :- I have not used this site for my presentations that much but I used it for one
of my evaluation question hence it was fun to work with this website as this site also
contains large amount of creativity .

9. Microsoft word :- I didn’t do that much on word press but I did some main things
on it such as making my movie film treatment , shot division list , character profile
and etc . This software is very easy to use as I am using this software since
childhood but it doesn’t have that mark of creativity which prezi and other
websites have .
Power point :- On this software I made some presentations as I knew it already
how to use it and to make nice presentations on it since my school . It was not
time consuming for me . I t is always fun to use also it has the caliber of creativity
but now days software are even better .

11. Finally the last thing I used was the final draft to write my screen play . A
screenplay should be written before shooting the movie and I wrote it , it
helped me a lot when I was shooting as it told me which shot to take when to
be taken . I used this software for the first time I was finding it hard but
teachers help made it look easy .
