What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?
1.
2. What technologies did I use to
construct my project?
• Blogger.
• PowerPoint.
• Slide Share.
• Prezi.
• You-Tube.
• Final Cut Pro.
• IMovie.
• Tube Chop.
• ITunes.
• After effects.
3. Blogger.
• When conducting my research and planning
for my film. I had to use a blog to present all
of my coursework in a digital technology way. I
learnt that it was a good way of keeping
record of the dates you’ve done your work on
and that you could use many other media
applications onto blogger.
• For example: Tube Chop, YouTube, Slide Share
and Prezi.
4. PowerPoint.
• When conducting my coursework I had to use
PowerPoint to present my coursework in a media
application rather that just writing loads of
essays.
• While using PowerPoint I learnt that it was a neat
and trendy and a more active way for people to
view my coursework and you could make the link
between images and slides more obvious than
you would if you just used word all the time.
5. Slide Share.
• When conducting my coursework I used Slide
Share in order to upload my PowerPoint's onto
blogger.
• Before doing this coursework I wasn’t as
confident using slide share but now I understand
that you have to use an embed code in order to
successful upload it onto your blog using HTML
and then compose.
• It helped me to express my coursework more by
using a PowerPoint then to upload it using Slide
Share.
6. Prezi.
• When conducting my coursework I used a media
application called Prezi in order to make my
coursework more creative.
• I learnt that it’s an active way to present coursework as
the screen moves from bubble to bubble.
• I also learnt that you could use different templates in
order to achieve what you want it to look like.
• I also learnt that you can insert clips and images in
order to give your coursework the visual feel.
• You can also add background music onto your
coursework to make it more upbeat.
7. YouTube.
• When conducting my coursework I used
YouTube in order to upload my Preliminary
task and my final product.
• I learnt that while using YouTube you could
upload it to other media applications like
Blogger by using an embed code.
8. Final Cut Pro.
• When conducting my coursework I used a
software called Final Cut Pro. It allowed me to
change the direction of my footage around as
I was not happy with it and it allowed me to
zoom on certain clips.
• While using this software I learnt how to
render an animation in order for it to go onto
different applications like IMovie for my film.
9. IMovie.
• IMovie was the major software used when it
came to conducting my coursework. It allowed
me to make a finished film from just scraps of
footage.
• While using IMovie I learnt a lot about exporting
files into different formats and how to cut
footage and change audio wavelengths from
voice overs and a backing track and how to split
footage in half but cutting at the play head.
10. Tube Chop.
• Before I started my coursework I had no idea that
Tube Chop existed. I found that it was a very
clever and easy way to help explain sound effects
in essays so that the person reading that essay
will be able to understand what you mean.
• I learnt that you get the URL from the clip in
YouTube and convert it to tube chop then you can
use the embed code to upload it to blogger.
11. ITunes.
• While conducting my coursework I used
ITunes to help store my background music on
so that I knew it was safe.
• I learnt that from ITunes you can transfer and
MP3 file onto IMovie in order for it to be put
in the background of my film.
12. After Effects.
• While conducting my coursework I used a
software called after effects in order to create
my opening titles for my film which moved
and had music to it.
• While using this I learnt how to make
animations onto a computer and how to
render that file to be able to put it into a film.
13. Conclusion.
• In conclusion I have learnt a lot about these
technologies in order to have put them
successfully in my film.
