In the epic Ibalon, the heroes
Baltog, Bantong and Handyong are
characterized with unbelievable
physique. With bulging muscles
and high stature, the characters
were able to pin down monstrous
enemies.

 The epic of Ibalon features three heroes named
Baltog, Bantong and Handyong. They all have
superhuman strength setting them apart from
ordinary humans. Baltog was able to break the
jaw a giant boar (Tandayag). Bantong on the
other hand was able to kill a giant (Rabot) by
slicing it only with his bolo. Handyong fought
for ten months without rest. He killed a giant
beast (Dambuhala), a flying shark (Triburon),
and a half serpent half human creature (Oryol)
