Abstract
Multiple theories determine understanding human behavior in an organizational setting through the study of organizational behavior. The organizational theories influence the understanding and interpretation of different behaviors and how the knowledge is used to establish better operational efficiency.
I. Introduction
Organizational theory is the study of organizational structure and analysis of its productivity and performance. Organizational theories are multiple aspects that contribute to understanding human behavior in an organization (Baum & Haveman, 2020). Business analysts and researchers understand the importance of social relationships among structures and employees that encourage productivity.
II. Findings
A. Primary Organizational Theories
The different organizational theories explain how supervisors and managers should address leadership responsibilities and ensure productivity in their organizations.
i. Classical Theory
The classical theory explains the division of tasks in the most effective and efficient way based on professional dynamics. The theory is important in helping the organization create the most beneficial structures which assist the company in achieving its goals. Classical theory is based on four principles; division of labor, scalar and functional processes, structure, and span of control.
ii. Neo-classical Theory
The neo-classical theory emphasizes on psychological and emotional components of people's behavior where factors like leadership, cooperation, and morale contribute to habits and behaviors. According to the theory, social acceptance and a sense of belonging are important for positive performance, and leaders should work on employees' interpersonal skills.
iii. Modern Theory
The modern theory involves interactions between people within an organization and surroundings and members' interpersonal interactions. The theory uses mathematical and statistical information in decision-making while ensuring employee happiness and satisfaction.
iv. Contingency Theory
The theory argues that there is no one right way to make a decision. According to Herbert, employees at higher levels make the most impactful decisions, although decisions are made at all levels of the organization (Francescato & Aber, 2015). The choices made depend on internal and external factors as they differ from one organization to the other.
v. Motivation Theory
The motivation theory involves studying what drives and inspires people to work towards their goals. When the management motivates employees correctly, they work accurately and productively. The theory aims at increasing company productivity because employees are encouraged to work efficiently.

Development
The development of the project requires the following analysis:
1. Current structure and behavioral view of the organization.
2. The structural characteristics cover a clear dividing of labor (managers and staff),
hierarchy, explicit rules and procedures, impartial judgments, technical
qualifications for positions, and maximum organizational efficiency.
3. Classify what type of organizational structure is It, and it differences respect other
types of organizations similar to. Unique characteristics of this organization
respect to other high educational center such as organizational type,
environments, goals, power, constituencies, function, leadership, tasks,
technology, and business process. It principal strengths and weakness.
4. Current information technology and current information systems. How these
resources are used (or not).
5. Experiences of other competitors which use information systems. How these ISs
could affect the organization.
6. Analysis of Information systems more implemented in this type of organizations
and which the team will recommend and why?
7. Develop a proposal redesigned the organization with information systems. The
role of a network and Internet in this proposal.
8. Information systems security and control.
9. Assessing the cost of the proposal.
10. Writing of the final project in MS Word. Parts of report: (Title, author and
professor, Index, Introduction, Goals, Development, Conclusion and
Recommendations, and References, Some diagrams and pictures could be
included. These must have numbers and titles.
11. PowerPoint presentation.
Deadline
The project will have six phases or cuts, which end with a report.
First phase (09/23/2013 - 09/29/2013): In this phase, the student must specify what will
be the organization or firm selected. It could be the organization where each student
works or any other selected by him. You can select a division, a department, a section of
a production process, etc.

Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

A Strategic Approach: GenAI in Education
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

Entity relationship model
- 2. LEARNING OUTCOMES: At the end of the lesson I should be able to: a.Define entities, attribute, and relationship b.Identify objects around an entity sets and relationship that exit between them
- 3. Entity-relationship is a graphical representation of entities and their relationship to each other. Entity-relationship diagrams are used to: 1. Identify data that must be captured, stored and retrieved in order to support the business activities performed by an organization and, 2. Identify the data required to drive and report on the performance measures that an organization should be monitoring.
- 4. COMPONENTS OF ENTITY- RELATIONSHIP These components include: 1.Entities 2.Attributes 3.Relationship
- 5. ENTITIES These are objects or concepts within the data model.
- 6. ATTRIBUTES An attribute is unique distinguishing characteristic of an entity.
- 7. RELATIONSHIP A relationship is an association among the instances of one or more entity types that is of interest to the organization. E.g. 1.Employees work in a department 2.Teachers teaches subjects 3.Lawyers advice clients 4.Equipment is allowed to project 5.Truck is a type of vehicle
- 8. CARDINALITY The cardinality defines the relationship between entities in terms of numbers. Don’t write this (NB): The degree of relationship (also known as cardinality) is the number of occurrences in one entity which are associated (or linked) to the number of occurrences in another.
- 9. TYPES OF CARDINALITY There are three cardinalities that can exit between two entities: 1.One-to-one relationship (1:1) 2.One-to-many relationship (1:M) 3.Many-to-many relationship (M:N)
- 10. ONE-TO-ONE RELATIONSHIP (1:1) This is where one occurrence of an entity relates to only one occurrence in another entity.
- 11. ONE-TO-MANY RELATIONSHIP(1:M) Is where one occurrence in an entity relates to many occurrences in another entity.
- 12. MANY-TO-MANY (M:N) This is where many occurrences in an entity relate to many occurrences in another entity.
- 13. ASSIGNMENT Read up the topic: “relational models” (see pages 71 to 81).
