This paper presents a novel image encryption algorithm that enhances security by combining chaotic map techniques, specifically logistic and Henon maps, to generate encryption keys and manipulate pixel values through XOR and cyclic shift operations. The proposed method outperforms an existing chaotic encryption algorithm, demonstrating superior sensitivity to changes in plain images and generating distinctly encrypted outputs that lack recognizable patterns, increasing security and secrecy. Experimental results validate that the new algorithm offers promising advancements in chaotic image encryption, emphasizing its effectiveness compared to previous methods.
