The Trinity Of The Godhead Religion
One of the pillars on which the Christian faith is based is the Trinity, we believe in God the Farther,
Christ Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit, we believe in the Trinity of the Godhead. This pillar however
has caused many debates amongst many other religions and has been rejected by most with a lot of
speculation about Jesus and His followers.
The Jewish nation however is one of the most sceptical with regards to the acceptance of the Trinity,
the New Testament and Jesus. The Jewish believe that God is the one and only God as seen in the Old
Testament, therefore they live strictly to the laws of Moses, so when we as Christians refer to Jesus as
our Lord and Saviour, they accuse us of blasphemy against the true God of Israel. The Jewish

Social Class Of The United States
If you took a handful of random strangers and asked them to tell you whom they are, a majority of
those people would start by defining themselves with their name and occupation. The American
society is conventionally arranged into social classes founded on income, wealth, occupation,
educational successfulness and social network. Social classes are defined as status hierarchy in which
individuals and groups are classified on the basis of esteem and prestige acquired mainly through
economic success and the accumulation of wealth. ( social class ) For most of American history, social
classes have created inflexible barriers, with multiple institutions and businesses, administering rules
established on racial discrimination and other forms of categorizing people founded on
preconceptions. Social class in the United States is a contentious matter, possessing many different
models, definitions and arguments for its obvious existence. Though many Americans now commonly
identify with the three tier model a model that incorporates the upper class, the middle class, and
lower class/poverty social scientists have suggested more intricately created model. The extreme
definition of social classes has only recently appeared in the past 250 years. Clarity of this natural
habit did not strike the citizens of the United States until the colonial times when many of the richer,
higher class citizens decided they were in need of separation from those that were considered low

Case Study Of Virtual Pornography
Case 1, p. 173 Virtual child pornography is used as a term that was given to a new domination of
video depictions of child child or child adult sexual activity to which the participants are not actual
children but realistic computer generated images of children. According to this last assignment The
Federal Child Pornography Prevention Act had banned this kind of pornography, but in April 2002 the
U.S. Supreme Court declared the ban unconstitutional. (The Court upheld the section of the law that

Parathyroid Glam Research Paper
Overview and Functions of the Parathyroid Glam
Parathyroid glands: Essentials
Parathyroid hormone regulates the body s calcium levels. They are four small glands that are about the
size of a grain of rice and are intended to secrete parathyroid hormone to regulate the level of calcium
in our bodies.
The parathyroid helps the nervous and muscular systems work properly. Calcium is the primary
element that causes the muscles to contract. Calcium levels are vitally important for the normal
conduction of electrical currents along the nerves.
Anatomy of the parathyroid glands
The four parathyroid are usually found in the back of the thyroid but anatomically, they have no
related function. The thyroid gland regulates the body s metabolism and the parathyroid glands
regulate calcium levels and have no effect on metabolism. the four parathyroid travel from the head
area down to the lower neck. A calcium balance will benefit the heart, the kidneys, the nervous
system, and the bones. Low calcium levels can lead to heart, bone, and neural disease. ... Show more

In turn, the parathyroid gland s lymphatic vessels will drain into the deep cervical and paratracheal

Benefits And Benefits Of Social Security
In Bonnie Smith Yackel s essay My Mother Never Worked she passionately defends her mother after
Social Security refuses to grant her death benefit check. Yackel does not realize that Social Security
fairly distributes benefits to contributing Americans. Social Security was reasonable to not granting
benefits to a woman who never contributed as a wage earner. Hence it would not be fair if benefits are
granted to a fraud who never paid wage taxes compared to wage earners who do. Americans who
abuse Social Security benefits by committing fraud is unethical and not to mention illegal. Americans
that are in desperate need for Social Security benefits require it far more than frauds. By eliminating
fraud the government can properly grant social benefits to hard working Americans. Social Security
benefits should be permitted to Americans that work and provide back to their country or they are
disabled. Also, hard working citizens that pay their duties will receive back from benefits, including
employees that are qualified as disabled. Benefits should not be granted to any citizen that makes no
contribution to their country such as, tax deductions from their wages. Furthermore, Social Security
needs to reach out to the majority which is the poverty stricken. By informing the impecunious or
immigrants of Social Security it could save them from the misfortune of poverty. Even though, Social
Security relieves some citizens from a financial burden there are still many improvements to be

How Is Imagery Used In The Book Of Job
Imagery in the book of Job is used to emphasize the meaning or mood of the text. For instance, within
chapter 2 verse 8, there is an image described after Satan attacks where Job took a potsherd with
which to scrape himself, and sat among the ashes. This scene emphasizes the deep despair and
hopelessness Job is struggling to handle. Job is pictured here scraping sores off of his body with
broken pottery. To begin with, Job is inflicting pain on himself conveying that he is in such a
depressed state where he no longer can think about the physical pain as he has become numb to it.
Furthermore, the writer depicts Job sitting in ashes which was often done in cases of mourning,
portraying how Job may feel as if he has nothing else to live for, as if a part of him had died. The ...

A significant word repeated within the book of Job is just, or justice. While Job is suffering he
exclaims, I am a laughingstock to my friends; I, who called upon God and he answered me, a just and
blameless man, I am a laughingstock. (12:4) The use of the word just here poses a case for Job. Being
just is based on or behaving according to what is morally right and fair so the reader is convinced that
Job has done no wrong and does not deserve what he is enduring. Hence, God s justice is questioned
by Job and the reader while Job searches for an answer to his plight. The biggest questions Job has in
the book are: Is God just? Does God run the universe on the strict principle of justice? According to
Job, he argues that he is innocent

Victim Blaming Definition
When a crime is committeed, there are always at least two individuals involved. There is the person
committing the crime and the person who is the victim of the crime. For most crimes there is no
debate who is the cause of the offense, the criminal. If a robber breaks into someone s house and steals
something, never is the house owner blamed for the incident. Why then is there a difference whem it
comes to rape? This is exactly what students of Utrecht University wanted to answer and how to
change it.
The student s hypothesis is that victim blaming can be significantly reduced when people mimic the
behavior of the victim or even a person unrelated to the crime. Victim blaming is a phenomenon that
occurs when someone who is rapped is believed to be at fault for the incident. Some believes this ...

This can be overt by how the person acts and talks or this can be covert by how the person thinks. It is
rather difficult to assess mimicry on the covert scale so for this study overt mimicry was only
assessed. To properly prove mimicry promotes empathy the researchers preformed two studies. The
first study involved 15 students that were blind to the purpose of the study. They watched a video of a
woman talking about her classes. While this was happening researchers watched the audience s
behavior and recorded the times an individual copied the woman s behavior. At the end of the video
the participants read a scenario where a woman was rape. After they finished reading they were
informed the woman in the scenario is the same as the woman in the video. With this knowledge they
were asked to complete a survey to determine how much the woman was at fault for being raped. The
results showed that the more an individual mimicked the woman the less they blamed her for the being
raped. Also though this study already proves mimicry promotes empathy, the researchers wanted to do
a second study to see if this can be

Odysseus Influence On Homer s Odyssey
Think you re escaping and run into yourself. Longest way round is the shortest way home (James
Joyce). A profound summary of the themes in Joyce s Ulysses, the quote above deals with journey,
escapism, identity, and nostalgia; all important parts of everyday life. Ulysses, however, was far from
the first literary work to deal with themes such as those. Indeed, the works of Joyce, as well as Dante,
Milton, and Virgil can be directly traced to the works of Homer, specifically the Odyssey. One of the
most translated, discussed, and taught literary works of all time, the influence of Homer s Odyssey
cannot be understated. Although Odysseus s journey is magnificent and supernatural, the epic
discusses the deeply personal struggles of one man, swept up in forces beyond his control, as well as
telling one of the first, if not the very first, coming of age stories. The account of Odysseus and
Telemachus deeply influenced not only western literature, but also music and media. In addition, the
Odyssey contains numerous insights into the culture of the ancient Greeks, the originators of Western

The story of Telemachus growing from a boy to a man and of Odysseus finding his way in a cruel,
absurd world will remain timeless because of its relatability, especially for college aged people. The
word odyssey has been adapted into the English language to mean a great journey. In a way, every
person on this earth experiences their own odyssey through life. To feel tossed about by life s
randomness and seeming cruelty while just trying to get by is part of the human condition. By taking
that feeling and making it fit a story containing gods, monsters, love, and war, Homer created a work
that not only influenced nearly all literature after, but a work that continues to be relevant by its own

The Acts of Leadership in Black Hearts Essay
Introduction
Deceased philosopher Bertrand Russell once said, War does not determine who is right only who is
left . Those left are the soldiers of the 1 502nd, specifically Bravo Company 1st plt, and the Janabi
family and to a greater extent, the ever changing global world we all live in today. The tragic events
that conspired in a small Iraqi village became a microcosm of how leadership failures at every level
shaped the actions of a few soldiers who committed atrocious acts. One can also see how a high
operational tempo, along with prolonged violence and death, has on a person s psyche. It is the ugly
side of war that the average American citizen may not want to hear or talk about. For a soldier, it is

LTC Kunk s mission was twofold. His BN was to deploy to a region in the Euphrates valley that was
south of Baghdad, dubbed the Triangle of Death . An American presence had only lightly occupied the
area and the insurgency in that region was multiplying. They were unleashing havoc on American
troops in the area as well as civilians. 1 502nd was also tasked with training a division within the Iraqi
Army in the hope that they would secure the area once American troops departed for good. 1 502nd
deployed to Iraq in October of 2005. LTC Kunk split his forces into 3 elements. Kunk gave his
toughest missions to Bravo and Charlie companies. Their AO and FOB was away from the rest of the
BN and violence was considered the worse in this area. Once the orders were received by the
company commanders, each company pushed out to their respective FOBs. It did not take long for
Bravo Company to start taking casualties. 1st PLT was being hit particularly hard. One of the first
things Bravo Company did was set up TCPs in designated areas within and on the outskirts of the
town. These were stationary targets that insurgents picked up on quickly. They attacked the TCPs
frequently and the TCPs were normally guarded by a minimal amount of soldiers. IEDs were also
affecting Bravo s combat strength within the AO. It did not take long for morale to drop, especially in
1st PLT. Within the first 4 months of the deployment, 1st PLT had lost their PL and PSG as well as a

Market Segments Based On Region For Cowsmoo Milk Bar Essay
There are three possible market segments based on region for Cowsmoo Milk Bar. The first segment
consists of those residing in rural areas. This market segment would not be ideal for our organization.
Rural regions have a low population, and the majority of people who live in rural areas are more likely
to be indifferent about the benefits that our company offers. This indifference may be caused from
their isolated, secluded location, and their lack of a pressing need to keep up with a modern lifestyle.
Therefore we feel that rural locations wouldn t result in as much business for our establishment as
other possible locations. Another regional market segment to consider is suburban areas. On one hand,
suburban locations would be feasible for our business because customers in these locations are mostly
families. Young families will benefit from our product because it presents them with a healthier
alternative to taking their kids out for traditional ice cream. On the other hand, suburban locations
wouldn t benefit Cowsmoo Milk Bar as much as our next option because our goal is to get people in
and out quickly so we can sell a large volume of products. That suburban locations are not heavily
populated will make this company goal more difficult to reach. Lastly, there are urban locations.
Urban locations are the best market segment for our organization because they contain many people
who keep up with trends and are health conscious. Choosing our location came down to two

Approach to Persuasion Essay example
Embracing an individual s point of view by means of reasoning, argument or entreaty is an act of
persuasion. An individual is regularly confronted by persuasion throughout their everyday life. It takes
place in various situations that are categorized in three sections, the appeal to emotion, the appeal to
reason, and the appeal to one s character. Furthermore, this leads to an influential aspect. It is from one
s characteristic to be influenced by persuasion, thus, to be overlooked by outside sources. This is not
only found as a human speaks, but persuasion is the aim of advertisements, and political candidates
who are trying to sway voters to vote for them. Since Ancient times, persuasive techniques have been
observed and studied but due ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Persuasion appears various forms. In life, the world often offers and persuades negative and positive
examples using ethos, pathos and logo. Many advertisements advertise harmful and others advertise
substances and people tend to respond variously towards persuasion. Some believe they are immune to
persuasion, yet persuasion can be subtle. How an individual responds to persuasion can depend on a
variety of factors. The main factor implies on the audience themselves. In order to persuade, one must
analyze the audience. The audience may appear differently; there are supportive audiences whom
begin with support, there are uncommitted audiences whom are neutral, there are also indifferent
audiences whom need the persuader to grab their attention, and there is also the opposed audience.
The opposed audience are the hardest to convince; they are against the persuader from the start. The
same techniques of Pathos, Ethos, and Logos apply, but with the use of different extents.
Motivation is a necessary method for persuasion. Motivation acts as an incentive for the audience to
act or behave in a certain way. This method causes an individual to act the way they act, and do the
things they do, moreover, refuse doing the things they do not want to. Motivation acts as a guide in an
individual s life. In many scenarios, one s motivation is fear. The fear may be of losing a need, or
desire, thus, resulting with an outcome or reward that does not

Cyber Vulnerabilities
INTRODUCTION
With cyber attacks on the continuous rise, organizations public and private must address computer
security vulnerabilities. SANS Institute has revealed unpatched client side software applications as the
top priority vulnerability for organizations globally. In conjunction with unpatched client software,
vulnerable Internet facing web sites can result in an organizations infrastructure to be compromised. In
this study I will address the issue of unpatched client software, the impact to an organizations
infrastructure, and patch management as a vital mitigation solution. (http://www.sans.org)

Email is a trending tool to exploit client side vulnerabilities. Email is a tool for spear phishing. Spear
phishing exploits client side vulnerabilities by using deceptive impersonations of applications. The
email may contain a link to a trusted website, where the victim discloses personal information.
Typically, the ultimate goal of the attacker is to steal data from the targeted organization and also to
install back doors access so attacker can return for further exploitation. Do not open any junk mail,
open email messages in plain text preferably HTML or RTF, lower administrative rights while access
web browsers and no opening attachment until properly scanned (www.sans.org)
Office solutions software applications are used as an exploit tool for spear phishing attacks using
email. When a user opens the malicious document the exploits vulnerabilities in the office software
begin. An attacker hosts a malicious document on a web server or shared folder, and entices a user to
browse to the web page or the shared folder. Note that, in most situations, Internet Explorer
automatically opens Microsoft Office documents. Hence, browsing the malicious web page or folder
is sufficient for vulnerability exploitation in many cases (www.sans.org)

Economic Systems Essay
Introduction
Economic systems are organized way in which a state or nation allocates its resources and apportions
goods and services in the national community. An economic system is slackly defined as country s
plan for its services, goods produced, and the exact way in which its economic plan is carried out.
There are three types of economic systems exist, they are command economy, market economy, and
mixed economy. Command economy is also sometimes called planned economy. The expectations of
this type of economy is that all major decisions that related to the construction or production,
distribution, commodity and service prices are all made by the government. However, in market

Businesses can decide which goods to produce and in what quantity and consumers can decide what
they want to purchase and at what price. The role of the state is limited to ensure right precision in the
prices charged by the sellers. Prices also have the function to allocate and distribute a country s
resources. Market leads to complete effectiveness bringing about the best possible distribution of a
country s resources in a perfect world. This would only happen in a state of equilibrium and there is a
unique price for every commodity. But in a realistic world which is imperfect by nature, prices are
never at equilibrium and very unstable depending upon the vagaries of the market forces. This
generally harms people living below the poverty line. It is impossible for them to pay high prices in
cases of demand shortage. Thus, the free market model is not a viable option in developing countries
which has a large number of poor. Besides, producers are aim to minimize profit and maximize rent of
production. Examples of countries that are using this economy system are Hong Kong, USA, and UK.
Many developing countries like India and China are moving towards totally free market economy. The
command economy is government directed. The market forces have very little say in such an
economy. There is no private property. On the other hand, a command economy aims at using all
available resources for developing either

Anabolic Steroids Are A Group Of Organic Compounds And...
Anabolic steroids are a group of organic compounds and synthetic variants of the male sex hormone
testosterone. The proper term for these compounds is anabolic androgenic steroids (abbreviated AAS)
anabolic referring to muscle building and androgenic referring to increased male sexual characteristics
(Pope and Brower, 2005). They are synthesized in the body from cholesterol in the Leydig cells in the
testes, and in smaller amounts in the adrenal glands of both males and females and in female ovaries
(Talih, Fattal and Malone, 2007). Anabolic steroids should not be confused with other types of steroids
such as corticosteroids (e.g., cortisone or prednisone), which have no anabolic effects and therefore
have little abuse potential (Pope and Brower, 2005; Sheffield Moore and Urban, 2004). When taken in
abundant doses, anabolic steroids allow users to greatly increase muscle strength and athletic
performance, often well beyond the limit attainable by natural means (Kouri et al., 1995). As a result,
many elite competitive athletes have used anabolic steroids and this phenomenon has recently
generated much publicity, as evidenced by increasing media reports around the world (Ewing, 2008;
Fainaru Wada and Williams, 2006; Magnay, 2008; Swartz, 2007). Anabolic steroids are used to
increase muscle mass and reduce fat in athletes and body builders and this ultimately leads to an
increase in competitiveness. The dosages used are often a lot higher than the recommended medical

then, plenty of people have made tons of changes for the sake of our country to move forward as a

much time and effort. The people involved in the changes want to help themselves, a group or section

Theories Of Motivation By Herzberg And Vroom
1. Introduction
Due to a German proverb, It is commonly believed, that every human being has something that drives
him . In this context, the incentive of doing a special task has its roots in the motivation of a person.
The motivation of a person is generally based on personal expectations, values and overall objectives.
Therefore, it is true that whether in our jobs or elsewhere in life, when we are grounded by our core
values and principles, we derive a sense of inner strength and confidence that enhances our
effectiveness (Froman 61). According to this, motivation plays an important role especially in the
work place in order to become more productive and therefore successful. This raises the question, if

they learned new skills which advanced women farther. The women and girls cooked for the soldiers,

Research and Development can often be a very risky process, since much money can be spent on ideas

many factors which affect their financial performance. Research and Development is a useful way of

because despite how much money is pumped into the Research and Development department, without
ideas, invention and innovation the business will have no rewards. Furthermore, even if Research and

Samoan Life Essay
Before it was all introduced to me, my economy was primarily constructed by our own hands. I am
from Western Samoa where things are rather simple and slow in comparison to the classy outside
world. We do not have Walmart or Ross or huge grocery shops that would provide us with the
convenience as other. My Samoa provides to our Economic growth, however, the ability to provide the
necessary skills surfaced far along, gradually increasing growth. Economy? If I had to define the word

Nevertheless, I never realized that the things we purchased on the one side was produced from
elsewhere and packed in another, preserved and treated also in another country.
When I moved back to the East from the West I had focused more attention on the origin of the
products that we took for granted. For instance, Samoans love coconut cream, therefore made their
own from the many coconut trees in their backyard. The Samoans that were not so fortunate had to
purchase these creams from the store when needed. The difference between the two is the degree of
Scarcity changing with lifestyle. Perchance, the only two reasons for the Western side to hit bottom
rocks is due to laziness and when mother nature is in rage. Eastern side, on the other hand, would
perhaps have more than just two reasons. Either resources are scarce or the production value is just not
worth a couple of dollars, or natural resources were there but did not have the capability or essential
skills to utilize it. Resources were within a simple grasp. However, changes brought more demand.
When the boys took off for the night to fish they would make and gather so much that giving them out
within one day was impossible. Nevertheless, with the rituals came to give some away for free, certain
Samoan beliefs made it harder to utilize the buy and sell scheme. Older folks were more disposed to
giving, embracing the value of open hands .

Explaining Bounded Rationality
Explaining Bounded Rationality
As proposed by Herbert Simon, bounded rationality defines the idea that clarifies the concept of the
human rationality. In other words, it maintains that there exists a limit to any individual s intellectual
capability, accessible information, and time regardless of how smart he/she may be (Ibrahim, 2009).
Undeniably, quite many decisions are often not entirely thought through since people can only remain
rational ones within the constraints of cognitive ability and time. Therefore, it is crucial that this
aspect of intelligence and its impacts are taken into consideration whenever a solution is to be arrived
at.

Essay about William Shakespeare s Twelfth Night as a...
William Shakespeare s Twelfth Night as a Feminist Play
I agree to a certain extent that twelfth night is a feminist play. What exactly is feminism? It simply
means subversion of traditional ideas of gender. This means that men are supposed to be active,
rational, wise, perceptive, loyal and trustworthy. On the other hand, Women are supposed to be
passive, emotional, shallow, vain, deceptive and fickle.
I agree to a certain extent that Twelfth Night is a feminist play [meaning that I agree to it] as the
female characters are essentially good and most males in the play have flaws. For example, Sir
Andrew is weak, Sir Toby is a drunkard, Orsino is full of self love and Malvolio is extremely ... Show

The women in this play are also sacrificial. A tremendously good example to proof this is the character
Viola. Viola s love for Orsino is silent and concealed. She is the long suffering woman and her
sincerity is shown in her actions, sacrificing her happiness for Orsino s happiness. Her love for Orsino
is also shown in her silence. She does not indulge in public displays of affection. Rather her love is
silent yet strong and powerful as may be observed in the soliloquy which ends the scene in a rhyming
couplet Yet a barful strife! / Whoe er I wife . These short lines reveal her intense longing and desire for
Orsino. Viola shows a very sacrificial type of love. Viola is in a dilemma which is due to the fact that
she is torn between pleasing Orsino and making him happy by helping him get Olivia and yet the fear
of losing him if she helps him. But despite her dilemma, she tells Orsino that she will do her best/ To
woo his [your] lady . She is sacrificing her own happiness for Orsino s happiness. Unlike Orsino
whose love is not sacrificial at all!
The love he has for Olivia should actually be defined as infatuation because his love is simply not
sacrificial and true love is the total opposite as true love is very sacrificial.
Twelfth Night is also at the same time a play where mostly all the women are witty and intelligent.
Even the female

embalming and anatomical dissection, is a process involving halting decay by pumping formalin into
the body through the arteries. The formalin will kill the bacteria throughout our bodies and chemically
stops the decay of the tissue. Than, using dissection tools, the skin and fatty and connective tissues are

the interesting step. During this process, a reactive polymer (silicone rubber) replaces the acetone. The

Vincent Van Gogh is a widely known painter throughout the world for multiple reasons. His paintings
weren t just paintings, they were life experiences. Van Gogh s life was an emotional and mental

seemed as if they were full of motion. His painting techniques seemed to be impeccable. During the
time period in which he was working on art, there was a big movement called the Impressionism

When looking at the painting, dark blues consume most of the image. The portrait of Dr.Gachet is
painted with a sad, gloomy expression on his face. The painting, by Van Gogh, has a strong
connection to Vincent s personal life and relationships. This allows Vincent to apply his feelings and
experiences through the art. Dr.Gachet was a close friend of Vincent s brother Theo. Dr.Gachet was an
actual doctor that focused on homeopathic cures. He brought Vincent into his own home to try and
assist with his severe condition of depression as much as he possibly could. With living in a house
together Vincent and Dr.Gachet became close friends. Dr.Gachet even began painting as a side hobby.
Vincent would often show Dr.Gachet some small techniques when it came to painting. Dr.Gachet
became a man the Van Gogh became slightly attached to. The look on Dr.Gachet s face in the portrait
is supposed to resemble the sadness that Van Gogh had felt. Vincent felt as if his depression may have
worn off on the doctor. In the article Portrait of Dr.Gachet(July 2006) by Sandra Bertman, it states,
Van Gogh felt particular affinity for him on account of their similar bouts with depression and their
dependency on their vocation for emotional and intellectual fulfillment (para.3). With knowing the

The body temperature of most domestic animals is considerably higher than the environmental
temperature to which they are exposed most of the time. They maintain their body temperatures by
balancing internal heat production and heat loss to the environment. The hypothalmus gland acts as a
body thermostat by stimulating mechanisms to counteract either high or low ambient temperatures
(FAO, 1986). For example, increased conversion of feed to heat energy is used to counteract low
ambient temperatures, while for example increased respiration (rate and volume) and blood circulation
in the skin counteracts high ambient temperatures. Varying temperature also results in changed
behavior . Most animals reduce their level of activity in a hot environment and, for example, pigs lie
clustered in a heap at low temperatures, while they lie

America is a multi cultural mosaic, because of the different cultures, ethnicities, religions, and creeds.
However, African Americans and especially African American women have been marginalized in

Tension In Benito Cereno
In the novella Benito Cereno, Herman Melville builds tension between the american captain Delano
and the Spanish Captain, who Delano had sought out to help. Captain Delano, while doubtful at times
wasn t sure how trustworthy Cereno was, creating tension between them when Cereno would act odd.
He wasn t sure if Cereno was masquerading as a pirate, but his generous nature would reassure him
that he was silly to have such doubts. Due to Cereno s though being presented to the audience in
narrative form Melville made us detract from what the slaves were doing because there actions were
simply described without much thought and speculation. As a result, at first take the audience didn t
pay attention to the free roaming slaves and had believed that Cereno had allowed them to do
whatever they had liked, as odd as it had seem to Delano. The whole setup of deceit was a ruse from
the beginning, used to fool Delano and the audience the moment he had set foot. The author had used
subtle details from the start of the book, to make the audience feel at unease but we weren t sure why.
This tension, unease, and shock ending is what makes the Novella genre distinct and a novella.
The Line By his side stood a black of small stature, in whose rude face, as occasionally, like a
shepherd s dog, he mutely turned it up into exemplifies the web of deceit the greatest in the novella.

Why The Nurse Interacts With A Family Managing A Chronic...
There are many factors to consider when the nurse interacts with a family managing a chronic illness.
The nurse must consider the structure of the family and how they interact while also identifying how
the family and individual with the chronic condition, manage their condition. They must identify any
risk factors that may impede their ability to manage their chronic condition or protective factors that
improve their abilities to self manage. An analysis of the developmental stage the family or individual
along with the stage of illness they are experiencing is necessary to successfully build relationships
and help guide the family through chronic illness management. Commendation of the family s efforts
and abilities to manage difficult situations revolving around illness may enhance the family s
confidence and improve self management (Wright and Leahey, 2013). These components will be
explored and discussed regarding the family structure of two sisters, R.C. and J.A. R.C. has Marfan
syndrome and J.A. is an active participant in helping her sister manage her condition. This family
structure will be discussed in relationship to their family management style, their individual and
family risk factors, and their management of R.C. s chronic condition. Contextual components will
include the lifestyle stage as defined by Wright and Leahey (2013), and the phase of chronic illness
and its developmental challenges as outline by Rolland (2005). This information was collected during

Factor Analysis Of Information Risk
Factor Analysis of Information Risk (FAIR)
Factor Analysis of Information Risk (FAIR) is a framework for understanding, analyzing and
measuring information risk (Violino, 2010). FAIR is a Value at Risk (VaR) model for cyber security
and operational risk and is considered an international standard by The Open Group. The FAIR model
quantifies information risk in financial terms using a scientific approach (RiskLens, 2015). Other risk
models measure risk in qualitative terms based on the opinions of subject matter experts, reliance on
practitioner intuition and experience, industry lore and best practices (Violino, 2010). The primary
components of the FAIR framework are a taxonomy for information risk, standardized terms and
definitions for information risk terms, data collection criteria, scales for measuring risk factors, a
computational engine for calculating risk, and a simulation model to measure risk scenarios (Jones,
2005). The framework is used to develop threat modelled information risk processes based on past
experiences, up‐to‐date intelligence feeds, recognition of trends, and a valuation of the organizational
assets (Optimal Risk, 2015). Figure 1 Threat Modeled Risk Framework Source: (Optimal Risk, 2015)

Filial Piety In A Devoted Son
Filial Piety in A Devoted Son A Devoted Son is the story of Rakesh, a young Indian man and the
relationship with his family. He receives top honors at school, accolades from his American and Indian
comrades, rises to the director of the local hospital, and becomes the richest doctor in his town. Critics
argue this is Desai s comment about perfect Indian society, where adherence to filial piety, respecting
one s parents, elders, and ancestors, is paramount (Crane). Rakesh s view of it leads to a breakdown in
his relationship with his father. The father feels neglected by his family because they no longer respect
his wishes. To Rakesh, belief in protecting his family from the ills of society, despite their temptation,
proves his dedication to family (Desai). Filial piety in the abstract is a good standard to live by, but it
could lead to destruction because adhering to it removes emotions. In the beginning, the relationship
between Rakesh and his parents was an admirable one. Rakesh considers his parents feelings prior to
making major decisions. From choosing a wife to becoming the primary caretaker to his father after
his mother s death, Rakesh s sole desire seems to make his parents proud. Though the author does not
dwell on the concept of filial piety regarding the mother, she shows her dedication to the family at the
expense of her health.
The mother s death marks a change in the family. The old father very quickly went to pieces, (Desai)
and could not adjust

The Trinity Of The Godhead Religion One of the pillars on which the Christian faith is based is the Trinity, we believe in God the Farther, Christ Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit, we believe in the Trinity of the Godhead. This pillar however has caused many debates amongst many other religions and has been rejected by most with a lot of speculation about Jesus and His followers. The Jewish nation however is one of the most sceptical with regards to the acceptance of the Trinity, the New Testament and Jesus. The Jewish believe that God is the one and only God as seen in the Old Testament, therefore they live strictly to the laws of Moses, so when we as Christians refer to Jesus as our Lord and Saviour, they accuse us of blasphemy against the true God of Israel. Social Class Of The United States If you took a handful of random strangers and asked them to tell you whom they are, a majority of those people would start by defining themselves with their name and occupation. The American society is conventionally arranged into social classes founded on income, wealth, occupation, educational successfulness and social network. Social classes are defined as status hierarchy in which individuals and groups are classified on the basis of esteem and prestige acquired mainly through economic success and the accumulation of wealth. ( social class ) For most of American history, social classes have created inflexible barriers, with multiple institutions and businesses, administering rules established on racial discrimination and other forms of categorizing people founded on preconceptions. Social class in the United States is a contentious matter, possessing many different models, definitions and arguments for its obvious existence. Though many Americans now commonly identify with the three tier model a model that incorporates the upper class, the middle class, and lower class/poverty social scientists have suggested more intricately created model. The extreme definition of social classes has only recently appeared in the past 250 years. Clarity of this natural habit did not strike the citizens of the United States until the colonial times when many of the richer, higher class citizens decided they were in need of separation from those that were considered low class and ... • 6. Benefits And Benefits Of Social Security In Bonnie Smith Yackel s essay My Mother Never Worked she passionately defends her mother after Social Security refuses to grant her death benefit check. Yackel does not realize that Social Security fairly distributes benefits to contributing Americans. Social Security was reasonable to not granting benefits to a woman who never contributed as a wage earner. Hence it would not be fair if benefits are granted to a fraud who never paid wage taxes compared to wage earners who do. Americans who abuse Social Security benefits by committing fraud is unethical and not to mention illegal. Americans that are in desperate need for Social Security benefits require it far more than frauds. By eliminating fraud the government can properly grant social benefits to hard working Americans. Social Security benefits should be permitted to Americans that work and provide back to their country or they are disabled. Also, hard working citizens that pay their duties will receive back from benefits, including employees that are qualified as disabled. Benefits should not be granted to any citizen that makes no contribution to their country such as, tax deductions from their wages. Furthermore, Social Security needs to reach out to the majority which is the poverty stricken. By informing the impecunious or immigrants of Social Security it could save them from the misfortune of poverty. Even though, Social Security relieves some citizens from a financial burden there are still many improvements to be ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 7. How Is Imagery Used In The Book Of Job Imagery in the book of Job is used to emphasize the meaning or mood of the text. For instance, within chapter 2 verse 8, there is an image described after Satan attacks where Job took a potsherd with which to scrape himself, and sat among the ashes. This scene emphasizes the deep despair and hopelessness Job is struggling to handle. Job is pictured here scraping sores off of his body with broken pottery. To begin with, Job is inflicting pain on himself conveying that he is in such a depressed state where he no longer can think about the physical pain as he has become numb to it. Furthermore, the writer depicts Job sitting in ashes which was often done in cases of mourning, portraying how Job may feel as if he has nothing else to live for, as if a part of him had died. While Job is suffering he exclaims, I am a laughingstock to my friends; I, who called upon God and he answered me, a just and blameless man, I am a laughingstock. (12:4) The use of the word just here poses a case for Job. Being just is based on or behaving according to what is morally right and fair so the reader is convinced that Job has done no wrong and does not deserve what he is enduring. Hence, God s justice is questioned by Job and the reader while Job searches for an answer to his plight. The biggest questions Job has in the book are: Is God just? Does God run the universe on the strict principle of justice? According to Job, he argues that he is innocent ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 8. Victim Blaming Definition When a crime is committeed, there are always at least two individuals involved. There is the person committing the crime and the person who is the victim of the crime. For most crimes there is no debate who is the cause of the offense, the criminal. If a robber breaks into someone s house and steals something, never is the house owner blamed for the incident. Why then is there a difference whem it comes to rape? This is exactly what students of Utrecht University wanted to answer and how to change it. The student s hypothesis is that victim blaming can be significantly reduced when people mimic the behavior of the victim or even a person unrelated to the crime. Victim blaming is a phenomenon that occurs when someone who is rapped is believed to be at fault for the incident. Some believes this ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This can be overt by how the person acts and talks or this can be covert by how the person thinks. It is rather difficult to assess mimicry on the covert scale so for this study overt mimicry was only assessed. To properly prove mimicry promotes empathy the researchers preformed two studies. The first study involved 15 students that were blind to the purpose of the study. They watched a video of a woman talking about her classes. While this was happening researchers watched the audience s behavior and recorded the times an individual copied the woman s behavior. At the end of the video the participants read a scenario where a woman was rape. After they finished reading they were informed the woman in the scenario is the same as the woman in the video. With this knowledge they were asked to complete a survey to determine how much the woman was at fault for being raped. The results showed that the more an individual mimicked the woman the less they blamed her for the being raped. • 9. Odysseus Influence On Homer s Odyssey Think you re escaping and run into yourself. Longest way round is the shortest way home (James Joyce). A profound summary of the themes in Joyce s Ulysses, the quote above deals with journey, escapism, identity, and nostalgia; all important parts of everyday life. Ulysses, however, was far from the first literary work to deal with themes such as those. Indeed, the works of Joyce, as well as Dante, Milton, and Virgil can be directly traced to the works of Homer, specifically the Odyssey. One of the most translated, discussed, and taught literary works of all time, the influence of Homer s Odyssey cannot be understated. Although Odysseus s journey is magnificent and supernatural, the epic discusses the deeply personal struggles of one man, swept up in forces beyond his control, as well as telling one of the first, if not the very first, coming of age stories. The first segment consists of those residing in rural areas. This market segment would not be ideal for our organization. Rural regions have a low population, and the majority of people who live in rural areas are more likely to be indifferent about the benefits that our company offers. This indifference may be caused from their isolated, secluded location, and their lack of a pressing need to keep up with a modern lifestyle. Therefore we feel that rural locations wouldn t result in as much business for our establishment as other possible locations. Another regional market segment to consider is suburban areas. On one hand, suburban locations would be feasible for our business because customers in these locations are mostly families. Young families will benefit from our product because it presents them with a healthier alternative to taking their kids out for traditional ice cream. On the other hand, suburban locations wouldn t benefit Cowsmoo Milk Bar as much as our next option because our goal is to get people in and out quickly so we can sell a large volume of products. In life, the world often offers and persuades negative and positive examples using ethos, pathos and logo. Many advertisements advertise harmful and others advertise substances and people tend to respond variously towards persuasion. Some believe they are immune to persuasion, yet persuasion can be subtle. How an individual responds to persuasion can depend on a variety of factors. The main factor implies on the audience themselves. In order to persuade, one must analyze the audience. The audience may appear differently; there are supportive audiences whom begin with support, there are uncommitted audiences whom are neutral, there are also indifferent audiences whom need the persuader to grab their attention, and there is also the opposed audience. The opposed audience are the hardest to convince; they are against the persuader from the start. The same techniques of Pathos, Ethos, and Logos apply, but with the use of different extents. Motivation is a necessary method for persuasion. Motivation acts as an incentive for the audience to act or behave in a certain way. This method causes an individual to act the way they act, and do the things they do, moreover, refuse doing the things they do not want to. Motivation acts as a guide in an individual s life. • 15. Anabolic Steroids Are A Group Of Organic Compounds And... Anabolic steroids are a group of organic compounds and synthetic variants of the male sex hormone testosterone. The proper term for these compounds is anabolic androgenic steroids (abbreviated AAS) anabolic referring to muscle building and androgenic referring to increased male sexual characteristics (Pope and Brower, 2005). They are synthesized in the body from cholesterol in the Leydig cells in the testes, and in smaller amounts in the adrenal glands of both males and females and in female ovaries (Talih, Fattal and Malone, 2007). Anabolic steroids should not be confused with other types of steroids such as corticosteroids (e.g., cortisone or prednisone), which have no anabolic effects and therefore have little abuse potential (Pope and Brower, 2005; Sheffield Moore and Urban, 2004). When taken in abundant doses, anabolic steroids allow users to greatly increase muscle strength and athletic performance, often well beyond the limit attainable by natural means (Kouri et al., 1995). As a result, many elite competitive athletes have used anabolic steroids and this phenomenon has recently generated much publicity, as evidenced by increasing media reports around the world (Ewing, 2008; Fainaru Wada and Williams, 2006; Magnay, 2008; Swartz, 2007). When looking at the painting, dark blues consume most of the image. The portrait of Dr.Gachet is painted with a sad, gloomy expression on his face. The painting, by Van Gogh, has a strong connection to Vincent s personal life and relationships. This allows Vincent to apply his feelings and experiences through the art. Dr.Gachet was a close friend of Vincent s brother Theo. Dr.Gachet was an actual doctor that focused on homeopathic cures. He brought Vincent into his own home to try and assist with his severe condition of depression as much as he possibly could. With living in a house together Vincent and Dr.Gachet became close friends. Dr.Gachet even began painting as a side hobby. Vincent would often show Dr.Gachet some small techniques when it came to painting. Dr.Gachet became a man the Van Gogh became slightly attached to. The look on Dr.Gachet s face in the portrait is supposed to resemble the sadness that Van Gogh had felt. Vincent felt as if his depression may have worn off on the doctor. In the article Portrait of Dr.Gachet(July 2006) by Sandra Bertman, it states, Van Gogh felt particular affinity for him on account of their similar bouts with depression and their dependency on their vocation for emotional and intellectual fulfillment (para.3). They maintain their body temperatures by balancing internal heat production and heat loss to the environment. The hypothalmus gland acts as a body thermostat by stimulating mechanisms to counteract either high or low ambient temperatures (FAO, 1986). For example, increased conversion of feed to heat energy is used to counteract low ambient temperatures, while for example increased respiration (rate and volume) and blood circulation in the skin counteracts high ambient temperatures. Varying temperature also results in changed behavior . Most animals reduce their level of activity in a hot environment and, for example, pigs lie clustered in a heap at low temperatures, while they lie ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 36. Tension In Benito Cereno In the novella Benito Cereno, Herman Melville builds tension between the american captain Delano and the Spanish Captain, who Delano had sought out to help. Captain Delano, while doubtful at times wasn t sure how trustworthy Cereno was, creating tension between them when Cereno would act odd. He wasn t sure if Cereno was masquerading as a pirate, but his generous nature would reassure him that he was silly to have such doubts. Due to Cereno s though being presented to the audience in narrative form Melville made us detract from what the slaves were doing because there actions were simply described without much thought and speculation. As a result, at first take the audience didn t pay attention to the free roaming slaves and had believed that Cereno had allowed them to do whatever they had liked, as odd as it had seem to Delano. The whole setup of deceit was a ruse from the beginning, used to fool Delano and the audience the moment he had set foot. The author had used subtle details from the start of the book, to make the audience feel at unease but we weren t sure why. This tension, unease, and shock ending is what makes the Novella genre distinct and a novella. The Line By his side stood a black of small stature, in whose rude face, as occasionally, like a shepherd s dog, he mutely turned it up into exemplifies the web of deceit the greatest in the novella. The nurse must consider the structure of the family and how they interact while also identifying how the family and individual with the chronic condition, manage their condition. They must identify any risk factors that may impede their ability to manage their chronic condition or protective factors that improve their abilities to self manage. An analysis of the developmental stage the family or individual along with the stage of illness they are experiencing is necessary to successfully build relationships and help guide the family through chronic illness management. Commendation of the family s efforts and abilities to manage difficult situations revolving around illness may enhance the family s confidence and improve self management (Wright and Leahey, 2013). These components will be explored and discussed regarding the family structure of two sisters, R.C. and J.A. R.C. has Marfan syndrome and J.A. is an active participant in helping her sister manage her condition. This family structure will be discussed in relationship to their family management style, their individual and family risk factors, and their management of R.C. s chronic condition. Contextual components will include the lifestyle stage as defined by Wright and Leahey (2013), and the phase of chronic illness and its developmental challenges as outline by Rolland (2005). • 39. Factor Analysis Of Information Risk Factor Analysis of Information Risk (FAIR) Factor Analysis of Information Risk (FAIR) is a framework for understanding, analyzing and measuring information risk (Violino, 2010). FAIR is a Value at Risk (VaR) model for cyber security and operational risk and is considered an international standard by The Open Group. The FAIR model quantifies information risk in financial terms using a scientific approach (RiskLens, 2015). Other risk models measure risk in qualitative terms based on the opinions of subject matter experts, reliance on practitioner intuition and experience, industry lore and best practices (Violino, 2010). The primary components of the FAIR framework are a taxonomy for information risk, standardized terms and definitions for information risk terms, data collection criteria, scales for measuring risk factors, a computational engine for calculating risk, and a simulation model to measure risk scenarios (Jones, 2005). The framework is used to develop threat modelled information risk processes based on past experiences, up‐to‐date intelligence feeds, recognition of trends, and a valuation of the organizational assets (Optimal Risk, 2015). Figure 1 Threat Modeled Risk Framework Source: (Optimal Risk, 2015) The FAIR methodology s quantitative nature enables assessments to be performed in a consistent manner and the taxonomy allows various teams from Information Risk, Information Technology and the business talk about risk in the same terms. • 40. Filial Piety In A Devoted Son Filial Piety in A Devoted Son A Devoted Son is the story of Rakesh, a young Indian man and the relationship with his family. He receives top honors at school, accolades from his American and Indian comrades, rises to the director of the local hospital, and becomes the richest doctor in his town. Critics argue this is Desai s comment about perfect Indian society, where adherence to filial piety, respecting one s parents, elders, and ancestors, is paramount (Crane). Rakesh s view of it leads to a breakdown in his relationship with his father. The father feels neglected by his family because they no longer respect his wishes. To Rakesh, belief in protecting his family from the ills of society, despite their temptation, proves his dedication to family (Desai). Filial piety in the abstract is a good standard to live by, but it could lead to destruction because adhering to it removes emotions. In the beginning, the relationship between Rakesh and his parents was an admirable one. Rakesh considers his parents feelings prior to making major decisions. From choosing a wife to becoming the primary caretaker to his father after his mother s death, Rakesh s sole desire seems to make his parents proud. Though the author does not dwell on the concept of filial piety regarding the mother, she shows her dedication to the family at the expense of her health. The mother s death marks a change in the family. The old father very quickly went to pieces, (Desai) and could not adjust ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
