Connor starts a new school where he doesn't fit in and has no friends. He meets a girl, Raphina, that he wants to impress. To impress her, he decides to start a band. The band forms and practices together, making their first music video. They continue making music and videos to work towards their goal of a concert. However, problems arise as Connor's parents split up and Raphina moves away. In the end, the band has their concert and Raphina returns, ending up together with Connor.

The messages and values shown in this movie is that life is hard so, don’t give up and go for
it. Also, having fantasy moments doesn’t solve everything but just makes you feel better for a
short time.

I really enjoyed the movie so, in my eyes it was a success. They made over 9 million dollars
from making this movie. It cost around $4 million but ended up making $13.5 million. For
the audiences, the movie was a success so, if someone who was middle aged who enjoys
action movies, watched this, they might not enjoy it but for the purpose of the movie and
their target audiences, they’re very successful.
