In order to meet our HSE Objectives Emarat is fully
committed to the following:
HSE requirements shall be maintained during all activities
Preventing Air, Soil and Water Pollution
Prompt reporting, Investigation, follow up and sharing of HSE impacts,
incidents, injures or damage.
Setting company objectives, expectations and key performance indicators.
Continuous monitoring and review of HSE Goals
Regular training of enhance employees competencies, Skills, HSE
awareness and behaviors.
Ensuring the terminal ,facilities and infrastructure are designed, operated and
maintained in compliance with Local and National Laws and Regulations,
International Standards and relevant industry best practices

• Stop work,
• Switch off engines,
• Remove materials from access
• And swiftly proceed to assembly point
• Do not wait for a verbal communication to evacuate the working area
(Try to reach within 3 minutes) Remember: DON’T RUN
If you drive park your vehicle at side leave key inside and proceed to
Assembly point.

Emergency response and
Evacuation plan for Fire
IF YOU HEAR THE FIRE ALARM
Stop the Work
Switch off all Machines
Evacuate the work spot and Report to assembly point (near Security Gate)
Wait for Head Counting
IF YOU SEE A FIRE
Shout “FIRE!FIRE”
Raise the Nearest Fire Alarm (If you knowing)
Fight the fire if you can , By using portable fire Extinguishers, While doing so stay upwind to the
fire.
In case of a Big fire evacuate the work spot , Report to assembly point and call the Emergency

11. REPORTING NEAR MISSES
It’s a given that reporting of near misses
reduces injury incidents.

12. House Keeping
It is the responsibility of each person to maintain house keeping
If required contractor shall place adequate number of trash bins at strategic
location like eating places ,water coolers and toilets
All rubbish and surplus equipment and materials shall be removed from the site
periodically and keep the site “CLEAN and TIDY”
No material or equipment shall be placed/parked on roads .
No service cable or water line or hydrant hose shall be routed across the roads
,If it is un avoidable they must be properly guarded.
Hazardous wastes shall stored in a well demarcated area or Skip and proper
hazard warning board displayed and disposed off as per local authority
regulations.
