This project involves developing a microcontroller-based system to identify electricity theft. It monitors energy usage using current and voltage sensors and displays the readings on an LCD screen. When overload is detected, the system will provide intimation by triggering a buzzer. Implementing this across an entire area network could help the electricity board detect theft more effectively by monitoring for load variations. The system works by using a precision rectifier and amplifier to measure current, a voltage divider for voltage, and a microcontroller to process the data and control the LCD, buzzer, and relays.
