Leadership Skills Needed to Succeed 
 Basic leadership skills are essential for a manager 
entering a new company 
 It will be essential to build strong relationships with 
fellow coworkers. 
 Goals will be set to resolve many of the recent 
problems being experienced by the company
Critical Thinking 
 Focus on big picture results 
 Find ways to innovate and optimize the existing 
infrastructure 
 Eliminate waste and inefficiencies
Collaboration 
 A history of bad relationships has hindered 
productivity. 
 Collaborative efforts will focus on the benefit of the 
entire group. 
 The goal will be to create synergy between different 
projects and departments.
Emotional Intelligence 
 Strong ability to understand personal emotions 
 Be able to understand the emotions of fellow

 Every individual has unique goals and aspirations 
 Sharing and discussing goals will be important

 This will help leaders gain a better knowledge of
