Effective Facilitators
By Mr. Ferris Oliver
Identify 2 important skills
• Communication skills are important to be able to
collaborate with learners across the country effectively.
• Authoritative greeting is needed in order for a sense of
online respect from students is demanded up front.
Explanation
• I chose these two skills because they represent an
effective way of communication with online learners for
future success. If an educator, or teacher cannot
communicate with others effectively, they will have a
hard time controlling that online environment.
• Secondly, the authoritative presence is very important that
the level of respect is demanded upfront by the instructors
policies and requirements in their online classroom.
While sharing information online, the way one shares the
information shows students what type of instructor they
have come to be educated under.
