EDX is a nonprofit online learning platform created by Harvard and MIT that offers MOOCs from top universities worldwide. Courses cover a wide range of topics at various levels, from high school to professional certification. Students can take self-paced courses for free or pay for verified certificates of completion. EDX aims to expand access to education through open online learning and research on teaching methods.

EDX provides interactive online lessons and MOOCs of the best universities and colleges in
the world. You can take online courses of MITX, Harvard, Berkeley, UTX, many other
universities here. Topics include biology, business, chemistry, computer science, economics,
finance, electronics, engineering, food, nutrition, history, humanities, law, literature,
mathematics, medicine, music, philosophy, physics, science, statistics and more. EDX is a non-
profit Internet initiative created by the founding partners of Harvard and the Massachusetts
Institute of technology.

How vocational education courses structured?
Designed for vocational education courses for EDX professionals, offering interactive
online learning in a comfortable and cost-effective way while suited in the schedules
of busy. Usually training for a few days to several weeks. The course content will be
targeted to a specific industry or skill set, with a focus on learning and hands-on
scenarios from the field.
All courses are fee-based; with specific duties vary of course. Many courses offer
students pursuing education or vocational education and credit all courses offer
students verify the certificates of achievement.
 Earn a certificate from one of the X-Series major world:
Some schools offer a certificate upon completion of the X-Series and pass a series of
courses in a particular subject. Make a real breakthrough X-Series. It indicates the
level of achievement that you can use to advance yourcareer or just to convince
yourself. Requirements vary for each organization, but generally you should take and
obtain a certificate verifying completion of each session, as set out by the school.

EDX courses open to everyone *. All you need is access to a computer with a current browser;
connect to the Internet, and of course, the desire to learn.

What is the cost to take a course?
With the exception of professional courses, free courses for all EDX. Some courses have fees
for certificates of verification but free to check.
And courses only in English?
Most EDX courses in English. Some courses offered in other languages with English subtitles.
And there are only a few in the other languages. And will include more languages in the
future. Please review the page path as to determine which offers languages.
Courses:
When to start my course and/or the end?
You can find the start date and duration of each session on a page description of the track. If
you are a registered course, you will also see the date began in the dashboard. Turn may
begin at any time throughout the day on the date of its inception. If the course is not
available immediately, please check back later in the day. The timing is flexible. You do not
need to log exactly when the course begins.
How much work I have to do to pass my course?
Usually include the expected hours of study required for each session on the course
description page. If not listed, please refer to the syllabus or course Forum discussion you
when you begin your studies.
How can I meet/find other students?
All courses have EDX discussion forums where you can chat with and help other students
