• Nervous during first Interview, but fine after started talking for a while

• Wanted to know more about the CEO, how he started the company
• However, cooking is just a hobby, not his passion
• Getting shouted at everyday
• Problem with getting to work on time
• Bad-influence friends persuading to take medical leave
• Studies is just for certificate, it’s useless

• Mentally tired and had to be prepare to get shouted at on the next day at work

• Diploma not much of a relevant to other industries
• Does school prepare the student for a global market?
• It’s good to have website that help people with jobs
• Not prepared for the interview
• Although it’s Diploma in Culinary Arts, school should have prepared him for interview
• He does not seem to have any real work experiences and school should have prepared him
for it
• Keen to explore his new environment
• Very stressful work environment
• Should be punctual

• Mentally draining as he expect to get shouted on
• Does not look forward to school and work
• Can being punctual be taught?
• China way of business focus more on relationship then product and marketing

• Interesting diploma
• Independent to have traveled so many countries by himself
• either he has a certain charm, or the interviewer is very friendly
• He is success driven
• Maybe could have gone for a diploma of his passion
• Seem playful
• skills necessary to get a job are not taught
• Knowledge needed to handle the change n stress in not taught
• Not prepared for the change from study to working life
• He have to change his business plan in order to enter the market well

7. Insight
It is interesting yet disturbing that the course was of direct
relevant to his job yet he finds that it had no help at all through
his working life. Personally, it is also the same for me as the only
help that my studies has given me in my working life is how to do
a good presentation.
As such, I feel that the system can be improve by having more
hands on, real working environment studies and attachment,
and less classroom and homework/project.
If a student is keen on studying, what could be taught in the
classroom could be done by self-learning and homework/project
are just a test of understanding and research ability. However, in
my optional it is the real working experiences and connecting
with colleagues that is important, and through these could a
student and teacher know what the student is really lacking and
needed to improve.

8. Problem Statement
The highly success driven man who came a long way from growing up in a
broken family, travelled the world to millions dollar net worth yet now being
stuck, needs a way to enter China’s market because he is use to the western
way of business and he has no training and experience on China’s relationship
way.
