• I studied Fashion and Design
Merchandising
at De La Salle College of Saint Benilde.
• Yes, I decided on my own on which course I
should take up for college
• My parents supported me with my decision
since they know that this was my passion.
• The most important lesson I’ve learned
from school is to listen. Yes, it is helpful
because I listen to my employees and
customers suggestions, and complains.
• My parents and I started a business
franchise after graduating, it was unexpected

salon franchise owner.

entrepreneurial subjects and ways on how
to innovate and make a business grow.
the school she attended to did not teach
them to handle a business or how to run a
business.
• Relies to other people in terms of
business
• She should get a job near her field
(like garment designing)
• Glad her parents are there to help her with
the business
• Looks comfortable
• Answered the question honestly and put so
much thought in each answer
Many schools has exceptional
credentials and an outstanding
faculty that can touch the lives of
their students with their wisdom,
knowledge, and experience. But also
many schools fail to know the
uncertainties and the dreams of
their students after leaving the
campus walls. Most schools when
you come to think of it only teaches
their students on how to be a good
employee, on how to make this
processes perfect, or how to do the
balance sheet properly, the lists
goes on but they rarely teach how
to lead or create their own
company.
However, you may say but these
students want to work, but I’m just
saying there are uncertainties in life
and when an opportunity knocks
on your door and it is always better
if you are knowledgable in that area.
In conclusion, schools should give
entrepreneurial units to students
just to give them a choice after
graduation, if they want to start up
their own IT business, HR agency,
or their own empire or work at
Apple, Google, Nike or any
company they please.
