Materials Used during the lesson: - Audio (song about the spelling lesson )
- Visual ( power point presentation )
-Kinesthetic ( Poster – an artisticillustration )
Objectives of the lesson : using words with long and short (o-e)
- Using diversity to help students learn by taking into consideration the
different learning styles.
Duration of the lesson : 55 minutes
Mental abilities of the children: 6-7 years old
Outcomes of the lesson:
First: Activity number 1 : ( duration of the activity -10 minutes) –introduction
Objective of the activity :-Activation of the previous knowledge,and
contextualization of the new language contents with engaging activities .
-Learning style: Listening (Audio)
students listen twice to a song
(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ggcr7hMInVE)
The song makes them familiar with the words which they are going to learn later.
N.B. This song can also be viewed on U-Tube .
Second: Activity number 2: ( duration of the activity -20 minutes)- practices
Objective of the activity :Students share related experiences with partners.
-Learning style : visual
Students watch the power point presentation which contains the same words ,
and try to be familiarized with the new ones.
Also, they use the words, and try to share them in sentences.
Finally: Activity number 3 (duration of the activity-25 minutes )- Evaluation
Objective of the activity : Evaluate the understanding
-Learning style : kinesthethic
Students act some of the meanings of the words , and try to present them by an
artistic work ( poster for illustration )

Teaching card: Target audience: Grade three students (SLD) Material: English Language Lesson: Spelling Strategies used : -Integrating Technology Materials Used during the lesson: - Audio (song about the spelling lesson ) - Visual ( power point presentation ) -Kinesthetic ( Poster – an artisticillustration ) Objectives of the lesson : using words with long and short (o-e) - Using diversity to help students learn by taking into consideration the different learning styles. Duration of the lesson : 55 minutes Mental abilities of the children: 6-7 years old

Outcomes of the lesson: First: Activity number 1 : ( duration of the activity -10 minutes) –introduction Objective of the activity :-Activation of the previous knowledge,and contextualization of the new language contents with engaging activities . -Learning style: Listening (Audio) students listen twice to a song (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ggcr7hMInVE) The song makes them familiar with the words which they are going to learn later. N.B. This song can also be viewed on U-Tube . Second: Activity number 2: ( duration of the activity -20 minutes)- practices Objective of the activity :Students share related experiences with partners. -Learning style : visual Students watch the power point presentation which contains the same words , and try to be familiarized with the new ones. Also, they use the words, and try to share them in sentences. Finally: Activity number 3 (duration of the activity-25 minutes )- Evaluation Objective of the activity : Evaluate the understanding -Learning style : kinesthethic Students act some of the meanings of the words , and try to present them by an artistic work ( poster for illustration ) Prepared by :Momdjian Loucine L.M.
