How It can be used in my project
TITLE : Predicting performance of students in a particular course by using Machine learning
models.
DATA= log data, Video-related variables, Platform use variables
We can collected the data which can be useful to predicting performance
How many hours sleep has taken by learner, does learner during completion period of
course(survey before each class)
Use of body language during teaching
Collecting data of learners background(Diversity)
Project based learning related variables
It will be interesting to see how this variables affect the performance of learner

Drawbacks in MOOCs
The current MOOCs design does not consider the diversity of its learners
Providing same content to all type of learners, Only English language used, learners disability
such as blind, low vision, deaf, dyslexia.
Low completion rate in MOOCs.
Adaptive content or assistance to learners according to their needs.
Encouraged by providing predefined personal paths and super badges

My idea is to use the educational neuroscience principles to group the all learners of MOOC
Based on the different type of learners content will be delivered to students
Grouping of learners will be done by using different activities which uses educational
neuroscience principles

Incorporate digital manipulatives in the online classroom
Giving the learner breaks in between for some basic exercise
EXPECTED RESULTS
Learner will get content based on learner background
Learner determined content
Will reduce the drop out rate in MOOCs
Increase the performance of learners in MOOCs
